Harlan was everything we could've asked for in a videographer. He was entirely low maintenance, dependable, and independent, and he captured our wedding exactly how we wanted to remember it. Leading up to the wedding, Harlan was extremely flexible and incredibly responsive. All he needed to know was when and where, and he was there. At the wedding, Harlan worked seamlessly with our photographer and was barely even noticable as he captured the entire day on a few different cameras and angles as a one-man show. The footage came out beautiful and very cinematic with shots I have no recollection of him filming in the first place. Our photographer, Gary Flom, recommended Harlan to me as a videographer and I am so beyond glad he did. I will never forget Gary showing me photos of videographers at weddings completely blocking important moments and being very invasive. Something I never really thought about! With Covid times, plans changed A LOT. Harlan never had an issue and was always willing to accommodate the changes. He truly made it a breeze. One of my favorite moments of our wedding day was actually looking over Brooklake Country Club in the morning and just chatting with Harlan. He was one of the first vendors to arrive and he was so down to earth and genuine. Even though Harlan and I had not met until the day of the wedding, he took the time to really get to know my husband and me as a couple. That really meant so much to me. As for invasive? Harlan was not! I mean this in the best way possible, but you barely knew he was there! When we saw our highlight reel, we were beyond happy. Harlan had our highlight reel to us in less than a week from the wedding and it was absolutely perfect. He was able to capture each small detail and moment that made the day so intimate and special, so much so that we had people reaching out to us telling us that the video made them cry! From start to finish, Harlan was the most AMAZING videographer for our wedding day. He was flexible, understanding, and reassuring when we had to postpone our wedding celebration from April to August. He truly captured every single special moment of our day, and you would not even know he was there. He arrived early at the start of the day just to have more time to capture all that he needed to. We received our highlight film in less than one week and when we watched it, our jaws were dropped. It had all of our family and friends in tears.
