Hiring Kristen was the best decision I made for our wedding. After countless of phone calls with the top wedding planners on Oahu, I ended up choosing Kristen for her full planning services. I could tell from our initial call Kristen was genuine and personable, while also having a get-stuff-done attitude. Kristen knows every vendor on the island on a personal level so can give honest feedback on who she recommends and her top concern was always keeping us within our budget, which is so rare to come by in the wedding industry. She always brought alternative ideas to the table that could provide the same 'wow' impact but at a better budget. I cannot tell you how many emails, phone calls, and texts were exchanged between us. I didn’t go in to planning this wedding with a vision, I needed visuals for everything (I was planning my wedding remote from NYC), the layout I wanted for wedding was a logistical nightmare (one long farm table for all 100+ guests to sit at for dinner), I was incredibly indecisive and would change my mind constantly (we went through 15+ iterations of the center pieces), and I had SO – MANY – QUESTIONS. Yet, Kristen was always there to help, she never complained, NOT ONCE, and she was always making me laugh. She constantly reminded me to never feel guilty about reaching out, even with the silliest of questions. For example, we probably had a 50 text-message conversation of what color foil press I should get for my napkins. She went above and beyond the week prior to the wedding, and offered to do so many DIY items for us (printing our menus, assembling our photo galleries, printing our logo on last minute items) and even let us borrow last minute decor items to add a finishing touch. The best part of Kristen’s services was seeing all our planning come to life the day of the wedding. Kristen made sure everything was flawless (and gorgeous!!!) and the day ran so smoothly - she got us back on schedule when we started to fall behind, she helped calm my nerves right before the ceremony, and if there were any hiccups that happened, Kristen made sure we weren’t aware of them. We didn’t worry about anything but enjoying ourselves and taking in the moment. I hear so many stories from brides/grooms that say they don't really remember their wedding because of how hectic it was but I look back and have such vivid memories and special moments from our wedding day that I'll cherish forever. I owe that all to Kristen. I cannot say enough good things about Kristen but I will end with this - Kristen will always, always, always have your back throughout this process and will make you feel like you had a second best friend helping you the wedding. I am so grateful for the above-and-beyond effort she put into making our wedding the most incredible day of our lives. I cannot recommend Kristen’s services more highly. We are so grateful to Kristen and her team for our perfect wedding day! From the very beginning of working together, Kristen encouraged us to email her about anything... and we did! We emailed her with any and all of our questions during the many months of planning. She always gave us patient and useful advice about our ideas and plans. That alone was a huge comfort and relief to us. Through her online tools and our in-person meetings we managed to stay on top of all the things and she made sure that we didn't forget anything. Kristen also came with us to meet with the venue and answered questions for us about seating, tables, arrangements, and even the style of napkin folding that would compliment our favors. Because of Kristen we had a beautiful wedding and nobody in my family had to lift a finger; they could just enjoy the day themselves as well. While I was mingling with guests at the end of the ceremony, Kristen and her team were clearing the tables and by the time we were ready to go to our room, all of our things - cake server.. extra favors.. my bag.. the projector.. everything was packed up and waiting inside our hotel room. We are truly grateful to Kristen's professionalism and thoroughness and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner!

Hiring Kristen and her team was one of the best ideas we had for our wedding! She streamlined all of my pinterest and instagram ideas and brought our vision to life! She was so easy to work with and always went above and beyond everything you could ever want! We had little minor setbacks on our wedding day, but kristen came through and made sure everything went ok and was the best day ever!

Kristen was hands down the best decision we ever made during our planning process. Planning a Honolulu wedding from the East Coast felt daunting, but Kristen made put us at ease immediately. She was there every step of the way through regularly scheduled calls. By the time our wedding came around neither of us felt nervous because she had done such an outstanding job preparing us for everything. Our wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have ever imagined and it was all thanks to Kristen! Everything was literally perfect and we were able to spend the day with our loved ones. Kristen was an amazing wedding coordinator. We hired her for Just the Details but she was there from the beginning answering all the questions via email. We chose her because we were looking for someone to help with coordinating a destination wedding. It's difficult to find trustworthy vendors and she always had a pocketful of them. We wanted our guests to enjoy the wedding and their vacation so we wanted to make sure someone was there to set up and take down the decorations and coordinate with vendors. Highly, highly recommend hiring Kristen Moux Events for your wedding needs! My husband and I hired her with her Just The Details package, which is similiar to Day of Coordination services (but so much more). As soon as we hired Kristen Moux Events, we were able to consult with her about various questions we had leading up to our wedding day. It was a great help to be able to contact Kristen + her team with any questions/concerns that we had. Kristen has great contacts and experience in the wedding industry, and we greatly valued Kristen’s opinion and suggestions. Our DJ that we hired (BlissDJ’s) even told us that he was happy that we hired her, because as another vendor, she is an awesome coordinator and he enjoys working with her. In the month leading up to the wedding, Kristen’s help was invaluable. Her guidance and worksheets really helped us to feel comfortable that our wedding day was going to be just fine, and also helped us to stress less leading up to the wedding. And finally, on our wedding day, I can honestly say our wedding was AMAZING. We had the best time, our guests and family couldn’t stop saying what an AMAZING time they had, and how well our wedding was put together and flowed. Kristen + her team did so much for us, and we are so grateful. Now when I go to other peoples weddings, I can’t help but compare how amazing Kristen Moux Events was for us. Kristen + her team were a joy to work with, and like I said, I highly recommend hiring them.

Now that things have settled down, I wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work at our daughter's wedding! As I said before, I don't know how people do something as complicated as this without professionals like yourself. I honestly wouldn't have enjoyed the evening if I didn't know that you were handling everything, and I would definitely recommend your services to anyone who is planning any kind of event like this. We are incredibly grateful to Kristen and absolutely could not have gone throughout the wedding process without her. The great thing about Kristen is that she is both personable and kind while also being tough and decisive. Perfect example: about 10 minutes before our ceremony was about to start, Kristen asked me for my iPod so that she could give it to the DJ to play during the processional and recessional. I realized I had forgotten it in the hotel room and was about to send someone to run back and grab it. Without hesitation, Kristen said that she would buy the songs and put them on her own phone so that no one would have to rush back and there wouldn't be any delays to the ceremony. She was completely cool and calm about the whole situation and it definitely went above her duties. This is but a small example of the many times she exceeded our expectations. You can tell that she is 100% invested in helping you to achieve the wedding that you envision and is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. There are so many details that we didn't even think about that Kristen helped to coordinate so that we and our guests could enjoy the wedding day. She is organized and efficient and it is obvious that she is passionate about people. Kristen also does an excellent job of respecting your opinion while also sharing her input on what she thinks works best based on past experience. She is worth every penny and more and we strongly recommend her!

From the first day I met her, Kristen put me at ease just by how calm and competent she is! I was pretty much planning our wedding alone since my hubby is in the military and most of our family is on mainland. Kristen’s expertise really shined since I might’ve picked her brain 1,000+ times and she had answers or would find them! Anything about weddings on Oahu are her jam. Your search for a wedding planner ends with Kristen! My husband and I live in California and we interviewed a handful of planners to help us plan our wedding on Oahu. The moment we spoke to Kristen we knew that she was the one! It felt like we had been family friends for so long, she asked genuine questions to get to know us personally and what our vision for our special day was. Throughout the planning we were able to visit and Kristen scheduled venue and vendor visits. She also suggested vendors based off our budget/style and was able to get us discounts through her connections. Fast forward to our wedding day, Kristen and her team went above and beyond! The ceremony and program flowed seamlessly. If you want someone who cares about details from beginning to end, Kristen is your girl! I couldn't have imagined this moment in my life without Kristen by my side. We are forever grateful for her!

I am SO GLAD I MET KRISTEN AND HER TEAM! I had her as my day of coordinator and I was shocked that she contacts/helps you two months before the day you get married (and even earlier through email/phone/text)! Kristen and her team go above and beyond for their clients and hands down I would recommend her as your wedding coordinator/planner. I can truly tell you that she cares about your vision and you expectations throughout your wedding. What was really important to me for my wedding was to have everyone stress free. I didn't want to ask my parents/relatives to help with setting up the reception, I didn't want to have vendors emailing/calling me on my wedding day about any mishaps, and I definitely wanted to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about what could go wrong. Kristen was a huge part of my wedding and it wouldn't have been the same without her! I consider her more than just my coordinator, she is definitely a great friend :)

Looking back at our wedding day the only word that comes to mind is perfect. My wife and I had an absolute blast during the planning process with Kristen! We entered the process very nervous about the huge task ahead of us. Luckily Kristen easily guided with us through the planning process and was always there to make suggestions or answer any questions that we had. Our favorite part of the planning process was seeing the details go from sketch to reality. For us the excitement didn’t really set in until we started to pick up the items and drop them off to Kristen’s office for safe keeping till our wedding day. Kristen really helped us to make quick progress of the planning without digging to deep into pinterest and other social media websites which could cause us to change previous decisions we had made. However if we did find anything we wanted to change she was always very open and welcoming to our ideas. Having an amazing wedding planner like Kristen is without question the biggest relief you can give yourselves as a couple on your wedding day. She was there to help keep us on track with all of the planning details leading up to the wedding. Then on the day of our wedding we were able to enjoy and appreciate all of the events without any stress because Kristen was on site to take care of any questions from vendors or our families. She and her team also did an excellent job of keeping our day/night on schedule with the timeline she prepared in her office. Our favorite part about working with Kristen is experiencing how amazing she is at bringing a theme to life. We loved seeing her sketches of our head table and wedding cake in the office, but when we walked into our ceremony and saw the finished product for the first time we we’re completely blown away! Kristen worked with the vendors to go far above and beyond our expectations. We cannot thank Kristen and her team enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

Kristen was amazing! From the day we hired her as our coordinator, she gave us all the tools we needed to be organized, timely, and READY for our big day. Many of my friends have done weddings without a coordinator/planner and they've all told me how stressful it was leading up to the wedding... Well, my wife and I definitely cannot say the same. We had a great fun week and by far the best day of our lives. Leading up to the 2-month mark Kristen met with us and just helped us to organize all our plans, vendors, contracts, and so many more things that we would have completely overlooked. Two months out she was the point of contact for all our vendors. She made sure she knew all their contracts inside and out, made sure we got what we paid for and coordinated the logistics of them setting up, breaking down, etc. Kristen also gave us a lot of advice on how to handle certain things, but was never pushy--she made sure we were still very hands-on with planning our wedding. The day of our wedding, it RAINED--it rained right before the processional. So we tried to wait it out, but it rained for too long, but before I knew it, Kristen had already been coordinating the move indoors into a part of the venue that ended up being GORGEOUS and way more intimate and meaningful than our original plan. I would not have had it any other way. It was the best day of our lives and we received a ton of compliments on how beautiful, fun, and epic our wedding was and we never failed to mention that our coordinator Kristen played a HUGE part in it. I highly recommend Kristen as your wedding coordinator/planner. She knows what she's doing and she does it at the highest level.

It would be an understatement to say Kristen is a good wedding planner.. because she is AMAZING at what she does.. really. My wedding was on 1/27/18, and I am so incredibly thankful for her that it would be an injustice to not write her a review because everyone should know how great her and her team is. I did a “Just the details” package, which is she basically took over all vendor communication and organization from the 2 months prior to wedding date mark. The choosing of vendors, design, finding products, etc. was done by my husband and I. We wanted to be involved with our wedding but had no idea how to go about it, and were in fear of what could potentially be missing, things missed on contracts, etc.. I mean, both of us had never gotten married before and our family.. yeah nope. We wanted to throw a good party and still both worked full time. Prior to that for the rest of the year, Kristen was there for us as a consultant, if we had questions, needed recommended vendors, etc.. this was such a great comfort for us!! Her taking care of vendor times to setup, timelines, setting up our decor, coordinating the flow of the wedding is EXACTLY what we needed and she did it FLAWLESSLY! Now to the day of my wedding.. it ended up raining, but Kristen pulled a miracle by moving the reception into an alternate area, everyone on the team on board to move everything.. now this wasn’t even part of the “plan B” to begin with, but all our guests had no clue and everything went flawlessly. Now this happened because Kristen has GREAT relationships with many vendors.. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and has GREAT style, but at the same time is very professional and is assertive when she needs to be. She’s always been great at communicating with me, prompt and thorough and always attentive to my thoughts and gives great feedback. We received so many compliments about our wedding, how heartfelt, beautiful, and fun it was, but I honestly cannot take all the credit because we owe so much to Kristen Moux and I am so grateful for her. I am fully confident in recommending her 100% for planning and coordinating any event!!! ❤️❤️❤️ love her!

I cannot say enough good things about this woman! In the beginning, my husband and I had opted not to have a wedding coordinator since we were trying to stay on budget. After meeting Kristen, we were impressed by her professionalism and realized we needed to have her for our wedding! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Kristen communicated with me via email, phone calls, and meetings. She made sure she was available for me. She even gave us a checklist to see where we needed to be at, which really helped with the planning process. On the day of, Kristen arrived on time and made sure everything went smoothly. She made me feel calm and relaxed and handled everything for me. She made cute customized bags for my bridesmaids to carry their essentials. When I had some itchy bites from taking photos, she was there with bug repellent! Thanks to Kristen, our wedding day was PERFECT. Following the wedding, she even made us a special wedding gift to help us relive our special day. Kristen is professional, organized, creative and has a great passion for what she does! She truly went above and beyond and I would HIGHLY recommend her to all of my family and friends!

Having Kristen Moux as our wedding planner was the best decision we made. We hired her to help us plan our wedding from the very beginning so that we wouldn't stress during the process. As she got to know us and vise versa and also understood our vision, it made us comfortable to trust her and know that she'll help us to make our wedding a dream come true. Kristen is wonderful and very, very organized. As a bride and groom you'll definitely have your work cut out, but Kristen breaks it down and makes it easier to manage. Whenever we couldn't make a decision she would give us suggestions and tell us the pro's and con's that we never even thought of so that really helped a lot. She made every effort to have the necessary meetings and responded to questions via email, call or text. The day of our wedding, we did not stress at all! We were told that there was time before our first look & ceremony so we got to relax beforehand. In addition, we were able to eat during our reception, which was great. Our wedding was so beautiful and went smoothly from beginning to end. It was such a pleasure working with Kristen. We can't thank Kristen Moux Events enough for everything they've done.

Kristen is organized and she has an easygoing personality. From the time we first met, she “got me” and she understood the vision that I had for our wedding. Throughout the process, she got to know me so well that she was able to read the expressions on my face and know whether or not I liked or disliked an idea. There were times that my husband and I got mentally stuck on how to handle a situation. Kristen would give us options that we hadn’t even thought about and she would tell us the pros and cons, and then let us decide from there. Two weeks before the wedding, our vendors, entertainment, and helpers had questions that needed to be addressed. By then, Kristen had taken over all contact with them and I didn’t have to worry. All questions were directed to her. I knew that she had our best interests at heart. It’s true, when they say that you’re going to need someone to be your support system (besides your fiancé, family, and friends) during this stressful time. Kristen becomes your “bestie” in the true sense of the word.

We loved working with Kristen. From our first conversation with her, we could tell that she truly cares about the couple and wants to do what is best for us! We had no idea what we were doing and Kristen patiently guided us throughout our planning. On the day of our wedding, we walked in to the reception site and were amazed at how much she did with our very simple designs. We LOVED every minute with her and would highly recommend her to all of our friends and family.

We cannot say enough lovely things about Kristen! We are so, so happy that we decided to hire her for Day-Of coordination. Kristen is the absolute sweetest, and her professional knowledge of all things wedding greatly enhanced our wedding planning process! As our wedding is over, and looking back at the day--we definitely would not have had a successful event without her. There were unavoidable mishaps that happened throughout the day (rain, limo flat tire, etc), and she handled everything with ease! We felt so taken care of throughout everything--my husband I are so grateful for EVERYTHING (and trust us, there was SO MUCH) she has done for us!! :)
