We are Kym and Sydney, a mother and daughter bartending team. Our father and grandfather was a bartender at a steak house in Pasadena. He inspired us to start bartending. We are three generations strong! We started out bartending at catering companies. We were then hired as the in house bartenders at local wedding venues. We advised the owners on how to stock the bar and keep the bar running efficiently during large events. We then started our own bartending service. We are not only bartenders, but wedding bar consultants. We will take care of your bar so you can make memories!

Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers were very professional. We were looking for fun tropical summer drinks for our wedding that took place on Memorial Day Weekend. Kym and Sydney guided us in choosing a Blue Hawaiian, a blended Pina Colada, and a Rum Punch which was their own recipe. Our guests raved about the drinks. Some of our guests asked our bartenders if they could make a different type of drink based on the liquor and mixers that we provided. Our guests loved how accommodating they were in allowing them to order "off menu" drinks. We recommend purchasing your own liquor and mixers because it allows you more flexibility and options for drinks that you can offer your guests. It kept our guests happier than if they were told that they can only choose from the 2-3 drinks on our menu. Kym and Sydney provided a shopping list that was super helpful. We added on a party helper to take care of the cake cutting details, but she did so much more. She cleared the tables and kept the water and sodas refilled. We were very pleased with the communication, guidance, and service on the day of. We would recommend Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers to anyone looking for a bartending service that allows couples a bit more freedom in their bar menu options while still being budget-friendly.

Kym and Sydney felt more like real partners throughout our experience working with them rather than just another vendor. They helped us come up with unique signature cocktails that wowed all of our guests. They asked us what types of flavors we like best, then they sent some suggestions. I like fruity drinks while my husband likes citrus drinks. Kym and Sydney came up with two amazing cocktails-the pink paloma with fresh squeezed lime and a vodka drink with cranberry juice, orange juice, and a cherry garnish. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on the drinks. The liquor shopping list Kym and Sydney provided was so helpful. We were able to purchase exactly what we needed. Anytime we had questions, they were right there to help. They both have such a calm, reassuring way of speaking that always calmed our nerves leading up to our wedding. Best bartenders bar none! Kym and Sydney were very easy to work with. They provided us with drink suggestions and even took the time to send us a detailed shopping list to take the guesswork out of how much to purchase. We appreciated their simple, hassle-free approach compared to the other bar services we interviewed. There were no extra fees like we noticed with the other vendors. They were incredible! Absolutely the best vendor option on here by far. They went above and beyond to make our day special, from picking up the rental dishes and scraping the leftover food off, to pouring champagne for the toast, to mixing up a variety of fancier cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Watermelon Mules, other mules upon request, and Palomas. Kym and Sydney were very helpful and kind at our small backyard wedding with close friends and family. From the moment I first called them, my fiance and I knew they were the right choice to bartend our wedding. We needed to call them a lot. They always picked up the phone and even accommodated my crazy schedule as a nurse. I loved how easy they were to get ahold of by phone, email, text, IG whatever we wanted. Our guests loved them! They were friendly and kept the energy up. The drinks were phenomenal. Not only was the bar service better than we could have ever hoped for, they also did extra to really help our day go more smoothly. They poured champagne for the toast, collected our dishes from the table after dinner, and cut our cake. We are so happy we hired this lovely mother and daughter team. Kym and Sydney were both quick and helpful any time we had a question or needed clarification on anything. Where do I begin? Kym and Sydney were amazing!👍 They gave us a list of what alcohol we needed and gave us suggestions on what other drinks we can have, but still on a budget. They brought more energy into our wedding and enjoyed the vibe that was flowing throughout the whole event. I'm glad we went with them because they had patience with my family. I just had to say how wonderful Kym and Sydney were at our wedding! Our guests commented on the awesome drinks, friendliness of the bartenders and nice inviting bar setup. As our guests came up to the bar, their drinks were made fresh on the spot. We never saw any premade drinks sitting out and getting gross. Honestly with our 200+ guests we have no idea how they were able to do that and still keep the line moving, but they did.
Kym suggested we get a party helper to clear tables and cut the cake, which we're so glad we did. It removed a lot of stress about keeping things tidy.
Kym and Sydney not only gave us a quote that was within our budget, but it was lower than the other bar services we interviewed in the LA area. This is it. No need to look further.

What can we say about Kym’s Bartenders!! Kym and Sydney were awesome 🤩! We hire Kym and Sydney to bartend our 25th Anniversary Party just this past weekend June 24, 2023. They had done our Decade Party back 2019. They always make everyone feel comfortable. They have wonderful customer service. They gave a shopping list of we needed. Superior service, easy to deal with, and affordable. I would absolutely hire again! Checking around for bartenders was very stressful, I didn't feel that the guys I spoke with were really listening to me so I just kept checking. Then I found Kym and Sydney and was so relieved! They cared about what I wanted and came up with very helpful suggestions regarding drinks and much more. They have obviously bartended a great many weddings and it shows.

From initial contact to end of the night clean-up, Kym and Sydney made everything so easy. They’re super friendly to hop on a call with, they’re helpful with telling you exactly what you’ll need, they provide excellent advice while also listening to your wants and needs. I truly appreciate their enthusiasm throughout the whole process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they remind you to have fun and relax. They’re available always and answer emails quickly. I was running around up until the last minute, arriving at my own reception on the dot, and by the time I got there everything had been set up and looked absolutely beautiful. We hired Kym and Sydney to bartend our intimate backyard wedding and they could not have been more perfect! They were super communicative and easy to speak with right out of the gate. They really worked hand in hand with us to craft our custom cocktail menu and beverage offerings. We always felt like they really genuinely cared about us and our event and felt like a true partner. When it came time to shop, they provided a very detailed list that made our lives so easy. In the weeks leading up to the event, they made sure to check in with us which was such a lovely gesture we appreciated so much! We had a big wedding with many guests we haven't seen in years so we knew this was going to be anything but small and manageable. We hired Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers to provide bartending services. Kym and Sydney were responsive and very professional. We gave them a heads up that our guests are BIG drinkers. We all had high expectations for service the day of. They delivered and then some. The drinks were on point. The Old Fashioned and Kentucky Mule were so good everyone kept pounding the bar. These awesome ladies kept up with the crowd . They kept us all happy but made sure nothing got out of hand. The venue manager complimented our bartenders saying that nobody had too much to drink. We had our wedding this past Saturday 9/17/22. We gravitated towards Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers because they are local to us and women owned. As were discussing the details, we found Kym and Sydney super easy to work with. Planning a wedding is stressful and we loved how they went along with our ideas. We asked if we could use our backyard barbecue/entertainment built-in for the bar. They told us that was fine. We already had liquor and mixers left over from our engagement party and asked if we could just mix a little of this and that rather than having to choose from specialty cocktails. They were willing to do what we asked. I have to stress this point because others we talked to told us there was a certain process: We had to select from a specialty cocktail menu, set up a tasting, and choose a bar set up all at an extra cost. We chose to work with Kym and Sydney because they were so flexible, accommodating, and helpful. Our guests loved them! The drinks were AMAZING. Our family and friends asked if we knew them personally because they were so caring and invested in our day. They were helpful to our family members like my grandpa who was in charge of setting up the coffee/tea table. They made a run to the garage to find everything for him and set it up so beautifully. I'm not one to go out of my way in a long-winded review, but I feel it is my duty because we will never forget the wonderful experience Kym and Sydney gave us.

We were in need of a bartending service for our wedding. Our vendor cancelled on us. We didn't have much time to find a replacement. Kym and Sydney sold us immediately. They were willing to meet with us which was great. Not only were they really nice, they also alleviated our anxiety. We felt comfortable going with them. The day of, we enjoyed the drinks. Everything tasted amazing! Service was quick and courteous. The only regret we have is not hiring Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers in the first place!

I was very satisfied at how responsive Kym and Sydney were when I requested a quote from them regarding bartending. They were very responsive and really seemed to care. They asked us what drinks we would like served (Paloma, Old Fashioned, and Michelada) and had great suggestions for signature drinks as well. They provided us a liquor shopping list so we could purchase everything. We recommend going this route. It saved us a lot of money. Kym and Sydney are a mother and daughter team which is a big reason we went with them (besides all their great reviews). We had family coming from out of town and needed bartenders we felt would get along with everyone from the parents, grandparents, and our friend group. Kym and Sydney were both lovely. They work well seamlessly together without missing a beat. Our guests told us they loved the bartenders. We have already recommended them to our friends. We're so happy we went with Kym's Bartenders! Kym was pleasant to talk to, affordable, and most important of all we could tell Kym and Sydney had the experience to take care of our bar. We talked to other bartending services who tried to upsell us. But not Kym and Sydney. They were easy to work with. They sent us a shopping list so we knew what to buy. We went shopping on a weekday night, and had to text Kym a few questions on the alcohol. She picked up the phone even though it was after working hours and was very helpful. We were feeling pretty good about this company already. Let me tell you on the day of our wedding, these ladies rocked it! Kym and Sydney were great with our guests. They were funny and just vibed well with everyone. The drinks not only tasted great, but looked amazing too. We wish we would have taken some pictures, but we were too busy enjoying them! We were grateful for their liquor shopping list and drink suggestions.The Old Fashioned was the best one we ever had! They kept the line moving. They were on top of things at all times. They were affordable. There were no hidden fees which was a huge plus as we were on a budget. Yet the quality of service was top notch. Definitely will hire again!

I don't usually bother writing reviews, but the service from Kym's Bartenders was above and beyond what we were expecting, so it is my duty to get the word out. We were looking for a bartending service for our wedding that would pour the liquor that we provided. Many that we talked to told us they would pour but on the condition we had to buy their premade juices, bottles to pour from, and garnishes. We also had to get a bar from them. Our venue already had a bar so we didn't need one. They insisted we get their bar set up. After some back and forth, we didn't feel this was for us. It seemed as the bride I wasn't being heard. We wanted our guests to be able to order their favorite drink from a variety of liquor and mixers that we could purchase ourselves. We didn't want to pay for stuff we didn't need. We were trying to stick to our budget. When we came across Kym's Bartenders, we explained exactly what we were hoping for. Kym and Sydney understood. I finally felt I was being heard. We loved that they are a female run business. That was why my fiance and I felt so comfortable going with them. They were so easy to work with. They didn't upsell us. They did what we wanted, not what they wanted. They were affordable. Best of all, there were no additional fees. We knew Kym and Sydney were it! We put the deposit down right away. They were quick to respond to our questions. They made excellent drinks on the day of. They were well liked by our guests. We visited the bar many times on our wedding day because the drinks were so dang good lol. We wanted the process of hiring bartenders to be easy. Kym and Sydney were the best from the minute we first called them. Just hearing their voices made us so comfortable and sure that this is going the be great. We previously had a bad experience with different vendor, but I’m a true believer of things happening for a reason and that’s when we found Kym and Sydney. We met up, they won us over completely. They gave us a detailed list of what to buy according to our guest list, they were always available to answer all of our questions, and they are the dynamic duo as they served the 350 guests at our wedding !! Everyone loved the drinks !! They were perfect ! Even for my mom who doesn’t really drink said she loved the drinks Kym and Sydney made for her. I highly recommend Kym and Sydney, they are truly the best at what they do and they are also amazing people who genuinely want to give you the best experience.

Kym and Sydney really came through for us. We had to move up our wedding. They came to the rescue! They made us feel at ease from the get go. Any time we had questions before our wedding day, they were available. They showed up early to set up the bar. Service couldn't be better. Drinks came out fast and were phenomenal. We received many compliments. In fact, we're still getting positive feedback about them. They were very friendly and approachable in a way that my best man and parents said they haven't experienced with most bartenders. I knew we made the right call hiring them.

We had a small backyard wedding at our home with 60 guests. We decided to go with the bartender and party helper package provided by Kym's and we're sure glad we did! It was awesome to not only have an excellent friendly bartender, but to have an equally amazing party helper who not only cleared tables but cut the cake. She also cleaned up the kitchen and packed up leftovers. The bartender helped clean at the end. We loved waking up to a clean kitchen. Having all the details taken care of made our day so much easier!

Kym and Sydney made us feel at ease from the moment we first reached out to them about bartending our wedding. They were quick to respond, easy to work with, and very enthusiastic about our wedding. They were willing to meet with us to go over the details despite the short notice we gave them. On the day of, they showed up early to set up the bar. They were ready right on schedule for cocktail hour. They both went out of their way to make sure we had water as well as our family during pictures. We received numerous compliments from our guests throughout the night about the great service. Specific comments we were told were drinks were amazing and came out quickly, the bartenders were fun and super engaging, and the bar service was very professional. I know our review is late since our wedding was on 2/28/20, But so much has happened in the past six months. It’s only right that we get around to sharing our thoughts because we were extremely satisfied with the whole process. Kym was easy to work with. Her pricing was fair and upfront. There were no additional charges or surprises. The liquor shopping list that Kym provided was super helpful. We wanted to purchase our own alcohol for the bartenders to pour. We saved a ton money going this route. Whenever we had questions, Kym was quick to reply. Many of our guests asked for the contact info for the bartenders we hired, so we were very happy. We recommend going with them.

This review is overdue since our wedding was on March 8, 2020 but I had to review them because we are so pleased with the service provided. Kym and Sydney were phenomenal. Their bartending went above and beyond our expectations. My guests had so many nice things to say about these ladies' great attitudes and delicious drinks! My husband and I loved the Old Fashioned and the Baybreeze which we chose for our signature drinks. Kym not only provided a list of drink ideas, but a shopping list as well. This gave us one less thing to worry about. I hired servers from another company because Kym just provides bartending services. When the servers showed up, they were asking me what to do. I was under some pressure to get ready for the ceremony, so Kym and Sydney offered to take over for me by telling them what to do. They were so helpful. That was another worry off our shoulders. Kym and Sydney are well worth the money. We wouldn't have been as relaxed if not for them. You can't go wrong in hiring these wonderful bartenders.

When I was looking for a bartending service for my wedding, Kym got back to me right away. She sounded more professional than the bartenders who got back to me later. I felt at ease with her. Everything just clicked, so I knew Kym's was right for the job. The bartenders did a great job at my wedding. I kept getting compliments on how good the drinks were. I heard from my guests that the bartenders acted like they were happy to be there. I've been to other weddings where the bartenders looked like they couldn't wait to be done. That was actually a big reason I decided to hire Kym's. I had a good feeling from talking to Kym that the service was going to be really good because she sounded so positive and genuinely excited about my wedding. The bartenders were so nice. They really took care of everything. I'm glad I went with my gut feeling and hired them!

Great bartenders! After checking out other bartenders, I decided to go with Kym's because she was friendly, super responsive, and definitely has the bartending experience required for something as important as my wedding. She cared about us, and on our day she and her other bartender made delicious cocktails. They made sure everybody had a drink in their hand all night .
I got some great feedback from our guests about how friendly and fun the bartenders were as a well as how delicious the cocktails were that Kym helped us select. The price was more than fair for this level of service. Our friends are planning on hiring them for their upcoming wedding too. Great job, guys!

Amazing bartenders! We highly recommend them. We told Kym we would be having 250 guests at our wedding. She recommended 2 bartenders. After we booked them, our guest list grew to 350. We thought we would have to add another bartender. Kym reassured us that 2 bartenders would still be fine because they are very fast and efficient. We were relieved because budget was a huge concern for us. Kym took away all the worry for us. I knew she was the right fit for our wedding because I felt like we had a great connection. She understood our needs and always communicated in a prompt, professional and friendly manner. Fast forward to our wedding day: we got so many positive comments from our guests on how fast the 2 bartenders got through the line. The drinks were fantastic. If you want piece of mind on your wedding day, look no further than Kym's Bartenders & Partyhelpers. Best decision we made.

These people are some of the nicest people we have ever hired for an event. They were super friendly and professional. I rarely write reviews unless people really go out of their way to provide excellent service and these people delivered just that on our wedding day.
Our wedding reception had around 50 people and they were all well taken care of. Made everything much less stressful. Would definitely recommend!!

I highly recommend Kym's. When I first contacted Kym she was very helpful and quick to respond. She made my fiancee and me feel at ease and confident in choosing them and I'm so glad we did.
Our coordinator kept raving about how amazing they were. She said they arrived on time,had a positive attitude, and took initiative which made her job easier.
The bartenders were also amazing. Our guests commented on how great the drinks were. This team was solid. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out.

I was so impressed with Kym's staff and the service they provided. I spoke with Kym. She helped me figure out how much liquor and mixers to purchase for our wedding of 200 guests. It worked out just right. Kym was very flexible and accommodating. She was willing to change the hours for the staff the week of our wedding. She was patient and very pleasant to work with. The 2 bartenders were efficient and personable. They made our wedding so much fun! The servers were not only on top of everything, they really cared about us and truly cared about our wedding. They checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was being taken care of the way we wanted. We were able to relax during our wedding. The staff was everything we were hoping for. We plan on using Kym's staff again for future events.

The bartenders were fantastic! They kept our guests happy and were very professional. Kim was very helpful in telling us how much liquor and mixers to buy for our drink menu for our 265 guests. The party help checked on us and offered us water, our signature drinks, and made sure we had seconds on dinner. It was great to feel so well taken care of on our wedding. They were constantly on the move and I never had to check on them. The bartenders kept the line moving and made the best drinks. Very courteous. Our guests kept telling us how much they liked the servers and bartenders. I highly recommend them and am so glad we chose them.
