About this vendor
Your wedding deserves more than a playlist. It deserves a signature soundtrack that reflects the energy of your relationship, honors the emotional weight of the day, and inspires an unforgettable celebration. That’s exactly what I bring to the table.
I’m Jay La Bella, owner and artist behind La Bella and The Beat—a boutique DJ and MC experience for couples who care deeply about music, flow, and connection. I don’t operate a team or outsource your date. When you book me, you get me—present, prepared, and completely dialed in to your vision.
Everything I do is custom-built.
No pre-set packages. No generic performances.
Just a personalized, production-level experience that mirrors the heart and soul of your celebration.
What Sets Me Apart
Collaboration is Key: I work closely with you to uncover the gold—your unique relationship with music, the artists that shaped your journey, the moods that feel most like you. That story is then woven into the fabric of your day.
Signature Sound + Flow: Every moment has its own emotional rhythm. From ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dance, I create seamless transitions that elevate the entire experience.
Elegant Production: I use premium audio and lighting systems to support your venue’s beauty—not overshadow it. Coverage includes multiple zones if needed, wireless mic systems, ambient uplighting, and stylish dancefloor lighting.
Wedding Weekend Ready: I specialize in full weekend experiences. From welcome parties and rehearsal dinners to late-night afterparties in spaces like The Vault (beneath Owl’s Nest’s Panorama), I can be there to curate the energy across your entire weekend.
No Volume-Based Bookings: To maintain quality and presence, I take on no more than 30 weddings per year.
Investment & Expectations
Because every wedding I take on is so highly personalized, proposals are built custom based on needs, scope, and location. That said, most of my couples invest between $5,000 and $7,000 for single-day coverage. Multi-day events, travel, and advanced production elements are quoted accordingly.
If you're looking for someone to just show up and "play music," I may not be the right fit. But if you're seeking a true creative partner—someone who can read the room, design the mood, and help your guests feel something real—I’d love to hear more about your vision.
Let’s build something incredible, together.

We hired Jay to DJ our wedding on July 10th, and we still can't stop thinking about how much fun the dance floor was and how perfectly the day went because he was a part of our ven...
dor team. From the second we met Jay, we could tell that he was not like other DJs. He made a point to meet with or call us (and any couple he works with) multiple times leading up to wedding day to ensure the day was curated exactly how we wanted. We always felt like he cared about our wedding just as much as we did. From the ceremony rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception, Jay was thoughtful in every detail and made sure that the music flowed perfectly with each part of the day, and reflected who we are as people and what we wanted the day to sound like. Once the dance floor opened up, it didn't stop, and one of our biggest hopes for the day was people would dance all night (which they did). Jay delivered and then some, so much so, people are still complimenting the music to this day (from all age groups!). We could not recommend Jay more - if you want a DJ who will perfectly curate the day you want, feel like a friend throughout the process, and is insanely talented at what they do, look no further.
Jay La Bella / La Bella and The Beat are the absolute best! He was extremely prepared and thoughtful with planning beforehand. And, day of, he was an absolute maestro! I've had mor...
e than one guest come up to me unsolicited and say it was the best wedding they've ever attended. That's due in large part to the vibes that Jay established. Highly recommend!
My husband and I were lucky enough to work with Jay for our wedding last month. When we first started looking for a wedding DJ, we were looking for someone who would understand our...
eclectic music tastes and make sure the music created a great dance floor! Jay was the only DJ we interviewed for our wedding because he was just that good!
From the moment we reached out to him, Jay made this process so smooth and lovely. His pre-wedding planning process is clear from the beginning, you’ll know exactly when your meetings with him will be and what you’ll cover in each meeting. Jay completely understood our music tastes, he asked the right questions and really listened, so the music he curated for the wedding (both cocktail hour and the raging dance floor) was perfect!
All we really wanted was a chill cocktail hour / dinner and a massive dance party after, and that’s exactly what we got with Jay! He was willing to roll with any non-traditional ideas we had, helping us flush them out and make sure our wedding and the flow of the day was exactly what we wanted it to be. Multiple people have told us we had the best wedding dance floor they’ve ever experienced, which is of course a testament to our awesome dance moves, but mostly to Jay and his abilities as a DJ. We would hire him again and again.
We had a very high bar for what we wanted for the music and dance floor for our wedding and Jay exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very beginning, he took the time to...
get to know us not just as clients, but as people… what we’re into, what kind of energy we wanted for our day, and how we wanted everything to feel. He created custom cuts of the “big moment” songs for us and even had a mic ready for when my husband decided he wanted to “spontaneously” perform a song. Our taste in music is eclectic and not necessarily the stuff you would usually hear at weddings but he crushed it by blending and mixing all of our faves with the surefire wedding dance floor hits so there was a little something for everyone while still feeling 100% like “us.”
The dance floor was probably the most bumping one I’ve seen since my college days. Jay’s lighting setup transformed the space, and once the dancing started, the energy was unstoppable. The biggest compliment I can give: Jay got all my uncles out on the dance floor, absolutely tearing it up like I’ve never seen before!
Jay went above and beyond by being there for our rehearsal, making sure every cue, transition, and announcement would run smoothly. On the day of the wedding, he coordinated with the wedding planner, venue, caterers, and photographer to make sure we didn’t miss a beat while we partied our hearts out.
Jay is the guy if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares, brings professionalism and fun in equal measure, and knows how to get everyone moving.
We truly cannot thank Jay enough for his expertise and commitment to ensuring that we had the wedding of our dreams! Jay was so wonderful to work with throughout every step of the ...
process. We honestly looked forward to our meetings with him leading up to our wedding. Also, we had an absolute blast during the reception and Jay customized our music precisely to our taste, but also, to what the crowd was looking for. We couldn't be happier with Jay's involvement in our special day and are so appreciative of all of the work he did. We could not recommend Jay any more highly!

e right energy for each unique event, from the Rehearsal Dinner, to Day at the Lake, to our Welcome Dinner, to all the events of our wedding day. Jay was well-prepared through a series of fun video calls to get to know us, a detailed questionnaire site (that we could refer back to and add/change answers), song recommendations and our "must plays", and his experience with every type of music and knowing how to really read a room. Jay is SO thoughtful, intentional, genuinely interested in you and your partner, and a complete joy to work and communicate with. He became an unexpected and wonderful friend and supporter. Also his song transitions were smooth, exciting, and appeared effortless. Everything about Jay, his DJ setup, and anything he said on the mic was extremely professional. He made our dance floor the epic and unforgettable party that it was!!
Can’t recommend having Jay as your wedding DJ enough! Jay was a big part of our wedding starting from when we signed a contract with him more than a year out from our big day. Jay ...
remained communicative and helpful throughout our planning process beyond the music from the day, recommending other vendors from the area and helping us imagine the best way to incorporate cultural traditions into our overall timeline. He took a lot of time to meet with us about our musical tastes prior to the wedding and his app kept everything super streamlined. Jay kept the party going all night and our friends and family were raving about how the music represented us as a couple!
Jay was the absolute best DJ for our wedding! We moved our wedding up unexpectedly for a family matter, and Jay was not only accommodating, but really went the extra mile for us! O...
ur wedding was a blast and everyone has talked about how awesome the music was! Jay kept the dance floor going all night with fun and unique mixes of well known songs that kept the energy high. He also made sure to add such personal touches, throwing in our favorite artists during cocktail hour, really making the experience so personalized. If you're looking for a DJ who can keep the party going and you just know you won't have to worry about, look no further! Best of the best!

lly stand out. He completely took control of the entertainment piece of our special day and his performance was exceptional. We are looking for another reason to hire him again! Thank you Jay!
If we had to go back and redo the planning of our wedding, the first thing we would do is rehire Jay and his amazing team. Jay was 100% worth every penny we spent. From our first m...
eeting with Jay we knew we were in good hands. He was attentive, considerate and there for us every step of the way even if it had nothing to do with the DJ portion of the wedding.
Before we got to the wedding weekend we had about four meetings with Jay where we went over every step. He heard what we were looking for and took the time to make us songs that fit our timeline, had killer recommendations for things we should do and explained things to us in a way that made us feel heard every time. For me (bride) I am not a dancer and I told Jay this from the start. He accommodated this in a spectacular way that still had our entire wedding on the dance floor, even when I didn’t want to be there.
Wedding weekend came before we knew it and Jay was there with us from the start to the end. He was ready when our wedding singer almost didn’t show and he followed the vibe of the wedding perfectly. Mixing Polish and Irish roots together with today's hits is no easy task and somehow Jay perfectly fit polka music into the reception without it sticking out. He followed our crowd and played the most perfect music at a level where it could be heard but people could also have easy conversations.
The Thursday before our Saturday wedding, we decided we wanted to change the length of our first dance song, without hesitation Jay accommodated this for us even at the last minute. Along with that, Jay also made our idea of using a different TV show song for every bridal party entrance at the reception a reality. We had a large bridal party and this was no easy task but Jay did it so seamlessly that it was the talk of the wedding. After the wedding was over and everyone had left, Jay was still showing us how much he cared by talking through the song choices that were made!
I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Jay and his team. He made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. We found Jay through our brother and sister-in laws wedding in 2022, and the second we got engaged we knew we wanted to book with him. After the wedding we both would consider Jay to be a friend and hope to keep in touch with him. If you are looking for a DJ for any event, 100% hire Jay because he will do a spectacular job.
We were able to customize our playlist with the online planner Jay uses and he worked with us to make sure there was a large variety of music for everyone to love! The night went s...
moothly, and just as we hoped thanks to Jay checking in with us throughout the night. From start to finish he really went above and beyond to help us make this day special. I planned our wedding myself, and he really helped us to figure out the flow of the night, and made sure everything went well so that we could relax and enjoy the party! 10/10 would recommend Jay!
We also used his photo booth and they were excellent!!

nd created an incredible atmosphere for our wedding day. You must consider La Bella and The Beat as a DJ for your next event.
First, the talent exhibited by Jay and his team is remarkable. His extensive knowledge of music and seamless transitions between songs kept my wife and me by dancing from the very beginning. My wife and I struggled to visualize how to incorporate specific music (pop punk) into our wedding, and Jay delivered it in epic fashion.
Secondly, the attention to detail provided is unparalleled. Jay utilized an app during the planning process that allowed us to easily input our desired songs. The app included a wedding timeline, so we could input specifics like the processional, cocktail hour, first dance, etc. Additionally, during the planning process, he maintained a cadence of check-ins to ensure we felt confident about our big event. Seriously, the level of detail Jay commits to is astonishing, from attending the rehearsal to ensure everyone is in sync with the music, to swiftly adapting on the spot to play songs referenced in speeches.
Our admiration for La Bella and the Beat knows no bounds. The feeling of having a wedding vendor truly deliver on your special day is indescribable, and Jay exceeded our expectations in every way. His ability to create a vibrant atmosphere and keep the energy flowing was nothing short of magical. Selecting vendors for such a significant occasion can be daunting, but Jay made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. His professionalism, creativity, and unwavering support transformed our vision into reality. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to help make our wedding unforgettable.
Your DJ search ends here! Jay La Bella is as cool and kind as he is talented and professional. From the very first meeting with Jay, we felt that comfort and confidence that we are...
all looking for in our vendor search.
I’ll cut right to it – he’s got passion and talent and a commitment to excellence in his work that was clear to see from our first virtual call. Jay’s easy-to-use and interactive planning tools will become an early foundation for your wedding planning and carry you through to the end. Jay uses high-tech sound and production equipment to enhance your evening and offers all the additional bells and whistles to spice up your night.
Not just an awesome name – La Bella and The Beat is the DJ you’re looking for!

When you work with Jay La Bella, you get the top-notch experience, and everyone deserves that for their special ...
day. Jay is worth every penny and we would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Jay is a professional through and through. He will impress you with his knowledge, he is personable and easy to work with, and he has a buttoned-up operation so you get the best service. Ahead of our wedding, he even met with us onsite to review the layout and ensure that we were set up for success. We really appreciate this level of thoroughness and it made us feel extremely reassured that our event would be smooth.
We had the greatest time at our wedding and Jay was such a big part of that. He worked with my dad on a last minute walk-on song for his Father of the Bride speech, which was a hilarious addition. This is just one example to demonstrate how great he is, his willingness to have fun and be creative in the moment. He is such a talented DJ and creates the most electric energy. He played all of our requests and added songs that were perfectly cohesive with our playlist. Our guests clearly had fun and we’ve received so many compliments on how incredible the music was.
We told Jay that we wanted a full dance floor all night, and boy did our wish come true! He spun an amazing and eclectic mix for people of all ages. Everyone danced, including our younger teenage cousins and grandparents. My husband and I have never had so much fun on a dance floor!
When we reflect back on our wedding, we can’t imagine it without Jay La Bella. He made our day so special and getting to work with him is one of the fondest memories from our wedding.
Going into our wedding, our number one priority was the dancefloor. We are two people that love busting a move, and knew our guests would want to be out having fun with us. As such...
, our biggest goal was finding a DJ that would set the tone for the night we wanted. Jay was the first vendor we hired based off glowing reviews, and boy did he deliver! First, he was AMAZING to communicate with prior to the day and wanted to really understand what was important to us as a couple. His preparation really showed as it felt like the music he played and the vibe he created was specifically for us. Our dance floor was packed the entire time, and everyone was having a blast. If you need a DJ, you would be remiss not to hire Jay. He is amazing. I truly don't have the right words to communicate how grateful we are we found Jay for our wedding! The BEST decision we made.

ption. Jay is very diligent in his planning so your wedding will be perfect. We HIGHLY recommend. Jay made the party incredibly fun and keeps the dance floor packed.
PS get the photo booth. You will not be disappointed! EVERYONE had so much fun with it!
WE LOVE DJ JAY!
My Husband, our families, and I are sill in shock how perfect the music, and sound system at our wedding was.
First, the planning process with Jay was incredible. ...
Picking out music and making sure the party keeps going can be an intimidating part of the wedding process and Jay took off any pressure Alex and I felt during the planning process. Jay takes the time to get to know you and your vision for the Wedding.
Next, the day of the wedding our dreams came true. Jay ensured that every guest at the wedding could hear the ceremony. The music throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was amazing. We were able to dance the night away with our loved ones and this could not of happened without JAY! He had the amazing idea of doing a 15 minute dance party after our first dance before dinner and it set to the tone for night! It was five minutes into the wedding reception and we already had over 100 people dancing!!
A great bonus of the night was the photo booth Jay provided! We now have 100's of photos of everyone having a great time in a photo album they all signed. Thank you for helping these memories live forever.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping our wedding dream come true!!!!!

omize our music for our ceremony. He accommodated our special requests and expertly made the music match our vibe. He helped us iron out our wedding timeline and then he kept everyone dancing all night. Jay’s transitions are excellent and he knows how to read the room. We had so much fun dancing and all our guests were raving about him. We’d hire him again in a heartbeat.

ish. He took time to get to know us as a couple, and even helped us develop a timeline of events.
From our first consultation straight through wedding day, Jay was personally invested in capturing our unique style and translating it into a soundtrack that made our wedding feel like walking through a movie. Every beat was in time with the moment; every selection paired to the energy. His attention to detail made all the difference. He even attended our rehearsal!
We could not recommend Jay more; we were looking for a DJ but had no idea we would receive an experience so authentic and inspired. Jay’s genuine appeal made us feel like we were his only clients, and his presence at the wedding was like that of an old friend (who just happened to also be our DJ).
Saying farewell at the end of the evening was like parting ways with your favorite schoolteacher. Thank you, Jay, for being as excited about our day as we were! We hope to see you again.

Jay was incredible to work with for our wedding! We hung up the phone after our first call with Jay and knew that we had found our DJ. He understood what the vibe we were going for...
right away. He let us bounce ideas off of him and gave us feedback on what he thought would work and what might be difficult to pull off. From the processional until the very last song of the night, he helped make sure everything was amazing. We trusted him to go in whatever direction he felt the party was going and play whatever songs he felt would keep everyone happy and he crushed it! He had everyone on the dance floor dancing and singing up a storm all night long.
If your want a DJ who is down to earth, cares about his clients, and work with you to create something truly special for you and your guests, Jay is your guy!

s super communicative, and was there to answer any questions for us, and responded to emails and texts in a very timely manner.
He worked with us on every aspect of the wedding. From music before the ceremony started, until the very last song of the night, everything was perfect. He kept the dance floor going all night long and all our guests wouldn’t stop raving about him.
Jay worked with us on all aspects of our wedding, and helped make sense of what the flow and feel of our wedding would look like. It was like having your own personal wedding coordinator who also was a killer DJ, and put our minds at ease for our big day.
Jay really took the time to get to know us, and learn the type of music we enjoyed in our life and wanted at our wedding. When the day came, to say he hit it out of the park would be an understatement.
If your looking for a DJ who is going to listen to your wants and needs, and work with you to create something truly special for you and your guests, Jay is your guy!
Thanks again for everything Jay!

o iron out minor details we hadn’t even thought of at our first meeting with him. Working with him was not only easy and efficient, but truly enjoyable. We connected with Jay immediately and were able to exchange ideas freely and comfortably. He got us and what we were looking for right away.
When it came to the music and the wedding day and ceremony, Jay absolutely crushed it. His attention to detail and timing made everything turn out perfectly. He took the vibe we had envisioned and totally ran with it and turned it into the party of a lifetime for us and our loved ones. We got so many compliments from our guests and we owe so much of it to Jay and his abilities. From start to finish, Jay ran the show and kept the good times rolling. We’d recommend Jay for any event.

gs the best vibe - acceptable amounts of cheese, no gimmicks, lots of humor, pure kindness, clear passion, and a genuine interest in connecting with the people around him through music just as well as conversation. Everyone raved about how epic he was all night and any time we talk about our wedding they bring him back up. Jay is simply the best of the best - don't miss out and book him ASAP!
If you’re still contemplating who to hire for your wedding or event, stop and hire Jay.
First, he takes so much time to plan (and in our case, re-plan) your most perfect day down ...
to each moment. Despite all the pre-wedding calls and creative exchange, he STILL came out the day before our wedding to organize an entirely new rain plan with us.
Next, he’s a natural at reading a crowd and taking your vision and turning it into reality. We gave him just a bit of inspo and he completely understood what we were going for. Our crowd was on the dance floor before dinner even started.
Lastly, he’s simply a pleasure to work with. Super organized, responsive, and has the right tools to make planning straightforward.
Thanks so much for an amazing dance party and helping us bring our wedding day vision to life!!
When we went to our sister-in-law's wedding and Jay was the DJ, we knew immediately that he was also OUR DJ. Jay LaBella is not your run-of-the-mill wedding DJ. (You know exactly t...
he kind of DJ I'm talking about.) Jay is one part wedding expert, one part music artist, one part event emcee, one part your next best friend, and one part lighting expert. That combination makes for one of the most seamless and memorable weddings you - and your guests - will ever attend. In fact, we trusted Jay's expertise so much that we had him choose all four of our wedding processional songs. It's true. And because he had already taken the time to get to know us so well, they were the PERFECT choices. I even paused as I walked down the aisle to nod a thanks to him - his choice was perfect, but it's not one I would have ever known to choose. That's because Jay isn't just queuing up music. He's listening. To you individually. To you as a couple. To your planner or coordinator. To your vibe. To your aesthetic. To the needs and constraints of your venue. And most importantly, to your dance floor. When I tell you I didn't leave the dance floor from the moment it was open to the moment it was closed I'm not exaggerating. The party was legendary. He will legitimately get your aunt to dance to music she has NO business dancing to. If you want someone to care about your wedding as much as you do, please, I beg of you, hire Jay. We are so humbled and honored to now call him a friend.
There are endless stressors that go into planning and creating the perfect wedding day. Sam And I knew from the second we got off our first discovery call with Jay that he was our ...
guy. Jay from day one helped us make a process that most think to be chaotic, SO MUCH easier. He started the party early during our rehearsal in getting everybody laughing during our practice of the ceremony. Between his technology in using the mobile app to plan all our songs, and the conversations and questions Jay goes out of his way to have in order to make sure he understands exactly what we wanted for our special day. Not to mention the absolute best lighting and sound setup in the business…
Jay goes above and beyond and there are not words to describe what a awesome human he is. The team made our day so incredibly special, and even with some last minute (literally) changes to have one of my best friends throw flowers and white claws, he made it happen without question. All the music and the dance floor was full of smiles and happiness from the second we started. I could write a book of how happy we are with Jay, we love him and and hope others can experience the greatness of his work as we did on our big day.
Hired Jay to be our DJ and he was WAY more than that. Helped us understand our timelines, helped coordinated our ceremony procession and recession, and mixed up some great classics...
for our reception. Felt like I hired a musically talented wedding coordinator instead of a "DJ". THANK YOU JAY

t he does and a consummate professional. What other DJ do you know what goes to yearly conferences to keep his skills sharp? From setting us up with an app where we could add songs easily for every part of our event, to making custom edits to our first dance/family dances, to making sure every moment of our wedding was note perfect - Jay absolutely smashed it. Our guests are still raving about how awesome he was and the dance floor was full all night! Trust me: Hire La Bella and the Beat if you want to throw a killer wedding!

h Jay it was a breath of fresh air - done deal. He took the time to explain why he was different from other companies, how is process works and expanded on his vision and ideas to make our wedding say something special. I can't express enough his ability to be extremely professional and thorough with a personality that truly made the whole process stress fee and easier for us.
Aside from the business side of things, Jay brought the HEAT when it came time to put on a show. Our dance floor was packed from start to finish. We were able to provide a few songs ahead of time to give the vibe we were looking for and he took off with it and totally exceeded our expectations. The vibe and energy Jay brought to our event was top notch - Lights, Music, Photo Booth and even custom song mixes - There's no chance you can find someone who can out perform him in the industry.
When chatting with our wedding coordinator about what we were looking for in a DJ, she immediately told us we needed to check out La Bella and The Beat. From the moment we met Jay,...
we knew it was going to be a perfect fit. He is so energetic and friendly and truly wants to create the perfect vibe through music for your wedding. His planning app is so useful and easy to use and definitely helps to curate some great music selections for the entire event. Jay brought a few of our more specific (and slightly crazy) ideas to life in the most fun way, including our wedding entrance to John Cena’s “The Time is Now” and an epic 10-minute Abba Fest to kick off dancing. Our dance floor was packed the entire night with jam after jam playing! We would absolutely recommend La Bella and The Beat and highly suggest getting your dancing shoes ready if Jay is in charge of music for your wedding/event!

ere that fills your space with music, joy, dance, laughter, memories, and FUN. I knew he was going to be our DJ in our first conversation, as he was so personable, and I could tell he really understood my request and love for music. He understood the vision of the whole wedding and the feel that we wanted for each and every part of our night from cocktail hour up until the songs he played as our guests were exiting. We also had people of all ages at our wedding and he was sure to play tunes that everyone not only could dance to but could not stop themselves from dancing to! He exceeded our expectations, and provided an above and beyond dance party - I could not step away or get pulled away from that dance floor. We would all get so pumped as one song transitioned to the next, because we could not wait to see what it was. I remember saying to my friends and family, while dancing and singing, "I wish we could do this every night!!" Jay, you are so talented, and we are so, so happy we got to work with you!! It was an incredible night and we can't thank you enough!

th Jay...we knew, our 30 min intro call ran over an hour, we lost track of time getting to know him, him to know us, laughing like we had been friends for years. Jay was always accessible, has some great technology (love the Vibo app) and is well versed in the industry. He knows how to read a room to get the party moving and he's one HELL of an MC. We were lucky enough to find him and he made our music dreams a reality (I mean ask him about the Lion King/Drop Kick Murphy intro song)...however we are even more grateful for our paths crossing and the friendship that has now formed. Keep jammin Jay and don't ever lose that phone! We love ya!
Jay was absolutely unreal as our wedding DJ! He turned our wedding into a night club in the best way possible, we wanted a nonstop dance party & he delivered. We’ve been to so many...

I sent him way too many song recommendations and he absolutely killed it using that inspo, he mixed the entire night and our dance floor was 100% packed for hours. We had a great connection with him from the first outreach & he understood our music vision for every phase of the day. His extra resources, tools, and willingness to be at our rehearsal were all above & beyond the call of duty. Jay, we appreciate you & could not more highly recommend your services!
I don’t have enough good things to say about Jay! From your first phone call over a year out from our wedding I knew he was our DJ. He was kind, funny and very knowledgeable about ...
the wedding world. He has a great communication and helped guide my fiancé and I every step of the way and answered all of our questions ahead of time. Jay is every thorough enough to be apart of our rehearsal which I was so grateful for! The day of the wedding he was timely, flexible and kept people on the dance floor all night long. The following day my guests raves about how awesome Jay was! It was an absolutely pleasure to work with Jay and I would 10/10 recommend him to anybody seeking out a DJ for their next event!
There’s no way to sum up the EXPERIENCE that is La Bella and the Beat. Jay is the lone DJ we talked to before our wedding, and we do not have an ounce of regret about that. Jay was...
absolutely fantastic from our first conversation until the moment he loaded his last piece of equipment. He was helpful, communicative, and most importantly, he truly became a friend during the wedding planning process. He is so easy to connect with and will 1000% help you make your wedding vision come to life! He nailed all the details, from the ceremony sound to our important moment songs, and of course the raging dance floor. Jay is a 12/10 and you should hire him ASAP!

ned to us, communicated with us, and supported us. He was so helpful during the planning process, especially when we had questions or needed advice. He created such incredible energy during the ceremony and reception! All of our guests raved about the music. He did an incredible job reading the crowd while still keeping with the vibe he knew we wanted. When we first found Jay we thought it was too good to be true - we were wrong! He's a professional in every sense and we couldn't have asked for a better partner. Hire him, or at the very least talk to him. Once you do, you'll hire him too!
I am so thankful to have found Jay & his team for our wedding. I felt lost when trying to look for a DJ, but I reached out to Jay & we instantly connected on our intro call. He was...

I have no words to express how incredible Jay is. His attention to detail, organization, communication and upbeat personality is second to none. He brought ...
all of my crazy wedding ideas to life, and made our wedding the most magical day ever.
From the crazy winds during our ceremony, he still made the atmosphere simply perfect. To the reception when there wasn’t a second of the reception where the dance floor wasn’t full. My guests have not stopped raving about how much amazing he was. We have so much gratitude for him!
DONT HESISTATE, BOOK HIM NOW!
Jay is the Best.
If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding or event you can stop here. We got married in June of 2022 and our wedding was truly amazing. We give a huge amount o...
f credit to Jay of La Bella and the Beat for that. Jay was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. The love for what he does reflects in his expertise and professionalism. Jay took a ton of time to get to know us and made sure our wedding truly reflected our personal style. During a meeting that Jay set up a month prior to our wedding, we highlighted the importance of everyone having a good time and Jay CRUSHED it! He had everyone from my 12 year old sister in-law to my 89 year old grandpa engaged and out on the floor breaking it down. From enhancing our ceremony to absolutely rocking out the reception, La Bella and the Beat was honestly one of the best decisions we made. So seriously, if you are still looking for your DJ - stop. You will not be disappointed! Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

y compliments on him! He also was helpful in things outside of his DJ services and truly made us feel at ease. If we ever need a DJ again we for sure will be reaching out to him first. Best decision we made, was hiring him for our wedding.

reate flow' based on our vision. On the big day, I heard jam after JAM mixed and blended into the next - there was literally no lull in the absolute BANGERS he chose based on our rough guidelines. All generations and dance-levels were on the floor and enjoying themselves.

wrong. From lighting to music Jay made our night so special. If you're thinking about it, HIRE HIM!
Working with Jay was a dream! One bit of advice I have for all couples starting out on the planning process is to seek vendors that have an easy and streamlined package/quote/payme...
nt process. This cuts down on headaches and a billion emails back and forth. Jay set a great standard here- his whole process was streamlined, friendly, and personalized. From thoughtful and easy to understand packages, to a cool app to help pick music out, to t-minus 1 month meeting that truly helped us take a *beat* and get excited (instead of just stressed) — we were so happy to have Jay on our team. On our actual wedding weekend, Jay’s calm professionalism and quiet hilarity was legendary. I felt like we were old friends throwing a party together, but clearly only Jay was extremely good at throwing parties and knew how to take my blabbering about speech timing and turn it into a thoughtful structure for our reception. Your DJ does so much more than just hit play, and I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t realize this until way further into the process than I should have. So, Jay was excellent for all the OTHER things a DJ does, and still totally delivered on the dance floor. We literally felt transported to “da club”; Jay is clearly passionate about his craft and puts the work in to be exceptional. Also the photo booth is so legit, please get the photo booth.
If you take one thing away from this review, know that Jay will make you look awesome, feel great, and dance hard. He’s not gonna steal the mic and make your wedding his latest standup gig (even though I’m certain he would also crush that).
Wow! Where do I begin?! We had the pleasure of working with Jay from La Bella and the Beat for our wedding, and it was perfect! I can not recommend Jay enough, he took his time hel...
ping me make song choices, he was very professional and brought the best kind of energy to our wedding the whole night. I don’t think there was one person that wasn’t on the dance floor at least once! We could not have asked for more! Can’t wait to see all the dancing photos, especially with the awesome uplighting he did. Thank you Jay, i’ll miss working with you!

rtant songs to perfection. He kept the flow of our timeline on track and managed to get all of our guests on the dance floor. Jay also provided our uplighting and photobooth. Our guests had SO much fun using the photobooth and he even designed a special logo for our photo strips. Jay is a truer DJ and was a dream to work with for our big day!
