The Food Was Outstanding The culinary experience at La Bella Vista exceeded all our expectations. The hors d'oeuvres were absolutely fantastic – our guests couldn't get enough of them! But we were just getting started. The multi-course meal that followed had everyone completely satisfied and raving about the quality. After all those delicious appetizers, our guests were shocked there was even more incredible food to come. Everything was perfectly prepared and presented – truly chef's kiss worthy! The best part? It was all included in our package with no need for additional vendors. Breathtaking Outdoor Setup The outdoor ceremony space was absolutely beautiful. The venue went above and beyond by providing extra décor that perfectly complemented our wedding vision. The natural beauty of the grounds combined with their thoughtful touches created the perfect romantic atmosphere. Exceptional Staff Service The staff at La Bella Vista made our day seamless and stress-free. They helped set up our centerpieces and ensured every detail looked perfect. Our Maître D, Alina, was absolutely incredible – consistently on top of everything, always bringing fresh drinks and water, making sure the entire event flowed smoothly, and somehow anticipating our needs before we even knew we had them. Most importantly, they made sure that my spouse and I actually got to sit down and enjoy our own wedding meal – something that doesn't always happen when couples get pulled in every direction! Smooth Planning Process Working with La Bella Vista was refreshingly easy. Todd was thorough in explaining everything we needed and provided us with a comprehensive checklist that allowed us to plan our entire wedding without needing a separate wedding planner. The team was also wonderfully flexible whenever we needed to make adjustments. Perfect Photo Opportunities The grounds and courtyard offer countless beautiful photo opportunities. Our photographer had so many gorgeous backdrops to work with throughout the property. La Bella Vista truly made our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. If you're looking for a venue that combines exceptional food, beautiful settings, outstanding service, and stress-free planning, look no further. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

LBV!!!! LBV!!!! First & Foremost, the La Bella Vista staff were wonderful! We met with them 2 years ago in 2023 to book our date for August 10th, 2025. La Bella Vista went above and beyond for us. Todd worked out all of the details and kinks. Make sure to ask plenty of questions about venue exclusivity and get a proper idea of how many guests you’re ok with entertaining. We chose a Sunday afternoon package, the weather was hot but it still was bearable. The food at LBV was amazing, our guests really showed out and supported us. Trish (our maitre’d) & Julia as her assistant made sure the bridal party suite had plenty of food for the cocktail hour, the drinks were flowing and we made sure to party hard. I’m so grateful we chose a place that was truly attentive to our wants and needs. I would recommend it again and again!!! Oh and the enhancement packages for the reception are well worth it!! People really enjoyed it!!

We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at La Bella Vista this July. From the moment we booked, we knew we were in great hands. The entire planning process was smooth, organized, and stress-free—thanks to the incredible LBV staff. We didn’t hire an outside planner or coordinator, but we never felt like we needed one. The team guided us through every detail with care and professionalism. We held our ceremony off-site and chose not to do a first look, which created a few timing challenges. The LBV staff worked closely with us to build a timeline that made everything flow beautifully. They made sure we had time for all the important moments—photos, introductions, toasts, dinner, and dancing—without anything ever feeling rushed. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the experience, knowing everything was being handled with care. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Guests are still telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. From the incredible cocktail hour to the beautifully plated entrees and desserts, every bite was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Many people were so full from cocktail hour (which felt like a meal on its own!) that they couldn’t finish dinner, but the LBV team had takeout containers ready so guests could bring leftovers home. That extra level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We also received compliments on how perfectly meals were cooked, especially the beef, which arrived at exactly the right temperature for each guest. Several guests even mentioned how the staff greeted them by name and made them feel welcomed and taken care of. The quality, quantity, and attention to detail were unmatched. During the reception, we felt completely supported by the staff. A special thank-you to Tricia, who stayed close by and helped with anything we needed—fixing my veil, keeping us on track, and making sure we always had food and drinks in hand. Her calm and kind presence added so much to our night. Every part of our experience, from the food to the service to the overall flow, exceeded our expectations. We’ve received so many compliments on how beautiful and well-run the day was. We’ll always be grateful to La Bella Vista and their incredible team for making our wedding feel like a dream. We just got married here on 6/22/25 and when I tell you people are still talking about this wedding!!! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, the food is AMAZING, but the people take it over the top. Todd has been there for us both in person and through email since day one. His attentiveness and attention to detail is unmatched and comforting! Tricia was literally the backbone of the whole flow of the wedding the day of. She was there for every single need that we had, even when we didn’t even know we needed it! Literally the most beautiful experience ever! No regrets at all!!

La Bella Vista was my dream venue. Todd was our venue coordinator and he was awesome the past 2 years. They handled everything that was thrown our way on our wedding day whether it was rain or vendors cancelling. If I could I would do it all over again at LBV! Trisha was our Matre D and she was PHENOMENAL!!! She was by my side throughout my day since I arrived at the doorstep. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, was 10/10.

Our Wedding was held at La Bella Vista in Waterbury, CT on October 19th 2024. La Bella Vista literally brought my fairy tale to life. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Todd was there for us every step of the way. His professionalism and experience at coordinating every detail of our day, especially focusing on us and our wants and needs, gave me every confidence that I didn’t have to worry that nothing would be left to chance. He went above and beyond to accommodate myself and 2 bridesmaids who use power wheelchairs. He created my own personal bridal suite on the first floor and made sure that the restroom was privately available when needed. Trish was our personal maître D. She was efficient, compassionate and attentive to our needs. When I got upset because I thought we were running behind, she was there to reassure me that everything was fine. The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous. The outdoor ceremony space was set up beautifully and although it can accommodate a lot of people, it still had an intimate feel. The grounds of Bella Vista are breathtaking with the colors of fall. The entryway and bar area are decorated perfectly for each season and is also perfect for indoor photos as well. The main ballroom is expansive and can accommodate large parties comfortably. It is elegantly decorated with your choice of linens and uplighting. The service staff were efficient and friendly. The food was 1st class. Everything from the hors d’oeuvres to dessert was phenomenal! We had so many compliments on the venue and the food, both during the wedding and for weeks after. For anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue, look no further!

Just do it. We looked at a wide variety of local wedding venues. Crossed off wedding factories, crossed off venues with no outdoor options, crossed off dark, dingy, run down venues… went to see La Bella Vista and it was a done deal. We had the pleasure of working with Andrew through the planning process. He was very responsive to all questions and extremely accommodating. This place honestly can’t make wedding planning any easier for you. And Tricia, the maitre d… unbeatable. We didn’t need for ANYTHING all night. Everything went beyond smooth, she was always right there going way above and beyond. Food was so amazing that people are still raving about it. We recommend LBV for ANY event.

La Bella Vista made my wedding day absolutely perfect. Todd was super helpful from the second we walked in the door to tour. They were so so on top of everything. Our maitre d’ Trish was also incredible on the day of, making sure everything went smoothly and that we had what we needed at all times. The venue space was perfect, the patio is beautiful for the ceremony. We did our first look at the gazebo and then did photos on the lawn, they all came out so amazing. The food was also amazing. So many of our guests are still raving about the food 6 weeks later. The package we chose also included so many options. Everything I tried was incredible. Our guests thought that cocktail hour was all of the food and were surprised that there was still a plated meal. We went with the 5 dessert stations which was so worth it. The way it was set up was amazing and everyone was blown away. I would recommend La Bella Vista to anyone and everyone!! I don’t think we could have possibly had a better experience.

Everyone at La Bella Vista, from Todd to Mary to Tricia, is by far the best. Todd is so quick to answer any questions at any time of day all days of the week. Tricia was constantly around my husband and I all day and night ensuring we had our drinks and if we needed anything. Our family and friends had the best time and we haven’t stopped hearing about how great the food was. La Bella Vista made my wedding the most beautiful and picture perfect moment that I had always dreamed of. I will always recommend them and wish I can redo my wedding just to have them all over again! And I don’t want to forget they looked at the weather up until 10 minutes before to ensure I can have my ceremony outside!!!

La Bella Vista is a dream venue to work with - their staff, especially Todd and Trish, are so professional and organized from day 1 of booking the venue to the day of with all the finer details. The ballroom looked beautiful, with the draping and the chandeliers. The food was PHENOMENAL, every guest we spoke to was talking about how memorable and delicious it was. We had 14 passed h’ordeurves, a pasta station, entrees, an 5 dessert bars along with the cake. The result exceeded our greatest expectations. We definitely recommend you have your wedding at La Bella Vista!

We recently got married on 11/5/22 and the day was absolutely spectacular! Andrew and Tricia were absolutely amazing to work with leading up to the day and during that day. Every time I turned around Tricia read my mind and had exactly what I was looking for or an answer to my question! The two of them made sure the day went smooth. My husband and I got married at La Bella Vista 12/3/2022 and all I can say is it was amazing. The minute we stepped into the venue, we fell in love with the beautiful chandeliers and ballroom, I literally felt like a princess just walking in. Andrew and Linnea took care of us and they were very professional in giving us information about the venue and the packages available. The pricing was all given up front WITH tax, so there were no unexpected fees later down the line. As the planning went on, Andrew was extremely helpful and organized in guiding us through the process, giving us checkpoints throughout the year to make sure we had everything ready by the time the wedding came around. On top of all of that, the actual wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Tricia stayed with me (the bride) starting the moment I arrived at the venue and helped us with everything we needed (and I mean everything!). She was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole evening. Everything at the venue was set up as we had previously discussed and I really did not have to worry about anything else but myself. The food was amazing, every single guest we spoke with after the wedding kept telling us how amazing the food was and how it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Overall, La Bella Vista allowed us to have the most magical wedding and we are so grateful!

La Bella Vista is by far the best venue out there. It is beautiful, delicious food, and amazing service. Our guests enjoyed the drinks and food. There was a wide variety of food and drink selections. Todd and Trisha were the most helpful day of coordinators. The whole team and staff put your needs first and made sure you and your close family and friends were having the best time. I am so sad it's over, but I would choose LBV over and over again. I am in awe of how many people left the party happy and were boasting with positive things to say about the venue! I highly recommend using them.

If you are looking for a wedding venue this is the place! I had my daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday 9/24/22. I have been in the hospitality, restaurant and service industry for over 40+ years and have never worked at an event that was executed so smoothly. The Event Coordinator, Todd was very easy to work with from the initial meeting with him until the day of the wedding. Every detail was executed perfectly. The property is beautiful. The staff courteous and professional. The Maitre’d Trish was on top of every detail and was with the B&G from before the ceremony until the end of the night. The food presentation of the passed hors d’oeuvres and stations for the cocktail hour as well as dinner selections was top notch and delicious. The dessert stations were over the top! I am still receiving compliments from my guests. They were blown away! I will definitely recommend LBV to anyone I know who is getting married!

My husband and I had our wedding at La Bella Vista at the end of June, and we could not have had a more perfect event, in no small thanks to La Bella Vista's staff and venue. We worked with Todd over the year leading up to the wedding, and he was so attentive and thorough through every step of the process. We planned the wedding long distance and he accommodated our limited ability to meet in person. He gave us detailed documents to organize the information he needed to execute the event, and thought of every detail ahead of time. We were in great hands! We were also in great hands on the day of the wedding. Trish, the day-of coordinator, was present to anticipate our every need. She made sure to keep us hydrated on a hot day and made sure we ate after the ceremony. We didn't have to think of logistics at all - everything ran so smoothly and we got to just enjoy our wedding. That was priceless! And every single staff member at the wedding was so friendly and welcoming and made everyone feel taken care of and at ease. My mother uses a wheelchair and everyone made sure she could get around as easily as possible. The staff was so attentive and considerate and it made such a difference. Our guests could not stop raving about how much they loved the venue - everyone thought the space was beautiful (and we did not even bring in outside decor). And the food! Our meals alone were delicious, but we of course couldn't try everything. But multiple guests independently told us how much they enjoyed the food - from cocktail hour to salad, pasta, and entrees. Our guests were just as delighted with La Bella Vista as we were. I also must note that for the quality of food and drinks, the venue, and the service we received, the pricing was more than fair, and I very much appreciated how transparent pricing was from the very beginning. We got our money's worth and beyond! We recommend La Bella Vista wholeheartedly and could not be more delighted by every aspect of our wedding there.
