This venue is absolutely gorgeous! Nothing can beat the view or the experience of an event in the atrium and that’s really what you are paying for. It is pricy but if the atmosphere is an important piece of your event then it’s worth it! We did not have a planner for our wedding but we higher Stephanie, the event coordinator at La Caille, as our day of coordinate and she was wonderful to work with! She was responsive, kind, and friendly. Overall our experience was wonderful, but I’m not leaving a full five star review because some of our decorations were not packed back up with much care or in the boxes they came in and a couple smaller supplies were not returned despite providing an inventory list.

As a wedding planner, I always appreciate a venue that has options for private events. The property is gorgeous and perfect for P + C's fairytale library wedding. With so many pockets of space, we were able to bring the design to life.
Both Jenica + Emily were a joy to work with from start to finish. Direct, informative, and available the entire year planning and day of the event. They were physically present day of the event from start to finish to be sure we had everything we needed to serve the client.
Looks like we may have found a new favorite wedding venue!

As we write this review, we are literally in tears…the good kind! The venue and folks at La Caille were truly BEYOND amazing from start to finish in our wedding planning and ensuring everything went smooth and without issue!
Madeline Anderton handled each and every detail in ensuring that everything was documented, thought out, and clearly explained from the get-go. There wasn’t ONE surprise (except the fact that things went more amazing than we could have dreamed of!)
Madison and Mark waited on us hand and foot the entire evening, making sure we needed nothing!
We truly cannot thank each of them enough for their kindness, attention to detail and true heart-felt devotion to make sure we both felt like royalty throughout the entire process. This was a night/weekend we will NEVER forget!
If you can do your wedding at La Caille, DO IT! It is WELL worth the time and money! We have made forever friends through the process! Thank you Madeline, Madison and Mark, forever in our hearts!

Madeline and Marc were the absolute BEST!! From the moment I went to look at the venue, until the week after my wedding, I was so well taken care of and assisted every step of the way. They knew exactly what they were doing and really made it feel like I had a built in wedding planner. Madeline became a friend of ours over the time it took to plan our wedding and she thought of every detail. The venue itself was PERFECT! We go married in the greenhouse (grand pavilion) and it made it feel like we were in a mid-summer grotto in late November!
If you want the best place in ALL OF UTAH, go look at this venue!

La Caille was a dream venue! Rachael and the staff at La Caille were so helpful and easy to work with. The ground are beautiful and it felt like a fairytale. I had the chicken marsala for my wedding dinner and it was the best I have EVER had. I would do it again here in a heartbeat!

If you want a perfect, fairytale wedding this is the place. Rachel was amazing and listened to all of our requests at every meeting we had. Expensive for Utah standards but worth every penny as La Caille will cater to you. I am from the east coast and wanted a venue that captured Utah’s beauty for our out-of-town guests to appreciate. Our guests were amazed and had a great time. Thank you La Caille!

La Caille was everything I could of dreamed of and more. A real life fairy-tale. Marielle our coordinator at La Caille was so helpful and was there when I had any questions or concerns. The staff the day of my wedding was spectacular from start to finish. They made my special day run smooth and worry free. We even had our own personal waitress following us around making sure we were taken care of. If I had to pick one thing that stood out was that the wait staff brought us the appetizers that were being served at happy hour while we were taking pictures. Most of the time you just miss out on that but they made sure we didn't. It was just superb service. Nothing was a disappointment and everything was top notch! Great Job La Caille! I wish I could have a wedding every year (with my husband of course) just so I can relive that experience. They really treated us like a queen and king.

The team at La Caille was top notch from their knowledgeable event team, to the day of manager (Mark) and the friendly staff. We were able to taste the food in advance and made sure the menu was exactly what we wanted for our guests. My guests are still talking about the ambiance and the BEAUTIFUL gardens! Thank you to everyone at La Caille for making my dreams come true!

If I did not have a none refundable deposit, I would have found a different venue! The staff was so snobby! They only cared about sucking more money out of us. The food was terriable and way too expensive for the quality. Luckily I married the man of my dreams, so that I could ignore the terriable service and hospitality.

La Caille is truly a once in a lifetime place for a fairytale wedding. We fell in love with the beautiful place as soon as we visited, but the day was magical because of all the wonderful help we received from the La Caille staff. Marielle at La Caille was super accommodating and patient, and extremely responsive to our million and one questions. She helped guide us through the entire wedding planning process, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors to create the perfect day. The food was amazing, the venue gorgeous, and the day went by super smoothly - what more can you ask for?

La Caille is probably the most perfect place to get married in Utah. You don't even feel like you are in Utah. They have a beautiful lower patio for the cermeony and the Grand Pavilion is full of greenery for the reception. The food is to die for. We can't wait to share our anniversaries to come at the La Caille restaurant. We worked with Marielle who was absolutely fantastic. She helped with so many small details and worked to make out weddig the best it could be.

There were certain details that when you went through with a fine toothed comb, were unnecessary to my wedding but required by the venue. I was a little disappointed that the event manager disappeared during our wedding and the photographer had to step in to organize our entrance. However, it was a fairytale. The venue was lovely I couldn't imagine anything else.

I grew up in UT, but my husband and I currently live in the Washington DC area. We decided to get married in UT, though, because it would be closer for our guests.
We were engaged in October of 2013 and during my holiday visit in UT, I set out to find the perfect location for our wedding. I toured several places: Grand America and The McCune Mansion. I also looked into Red Butte Garden and The Lion House and lots of other reception sites like Tuscany. They are all gorgeous venues, but they didn't have the wow factor for me.
La Caille was on my list, and it was the last place I toured. After my tour of the gorgeous location, I knew we HAD to do it there. We worked with Rachael and she was a breeze to work with. We did most our correspondence over email, with a few phone calls, and she always followed through with requests we made.
My fiance didn't have a chance to visit the location until April of 2014 when we did our tasting. He was, of course, blown away by everything. The actual location is stunning, especially the surrounding landscape with lush green trees, perfectly cut grass, and bright flowers placed throughout. Plus there really is an atmosphere of magic definitely present at La Caille. Pair that with an INCREDIBLE chef and you're set!
Our tasting provided full plates of each entree, salad, and hors d'oeuvres we selected; there was no skimping. The chef came out and introduced each of his dishes for us (he was so personable and kind). Our sweet waitress was just a doll, and basically every interaction we had there was genuine. We were so full by the end of the tasting, it felt like we'd eaten 4 dinners! :)
I did my Bridal photos at La Caille as well, and when there was a mix up about the time and date we were coming, they worked with my photographer and me to allow us to use their facilities anyway.
My actual wedding was perfection. Rachael was there when we arrived and helped my wedding planner with setup. She made sure we had everything we needed. There was a cheese/fruit plate with beverages in the Bride’s room (which by the was is as gorgeous as everything else at La Caille).
At some point Rachael left and her assistant took over. I wish I could remember his name because he was outstanding. Throughout the rest of the day, the ceremony, cocktail hr, and dinner, he was there to make sure everything was going as planned. He checked with us a few times to make sure we didn’t need anything more and that we were happy with the way everything was turning out.
All of our guests loved the location. I would say 95% of them had never been to La Caille, and there really isn’t a more stunning location. Tucked away right in the Wasatch mountains, you really cannot beat the fairytale like La Caille set up against those mountains. All of our photos are stunning, because how can they not be when that backdrop is the setting. We had so many compliments that this was the best wedding anyone had ever been to, and La Caille was a major part of that. The food was amazing, the chicken in particular got a ton of compliments.
We loved La Caille, and I don’t see how anyone else could think anything different! We can't wait to return next time we're in UT to revisit our perfect wedding day!

The grounds are beautiful and the staff are very accommodating, I loved the fact that we did not have to set anything up or do any clean up and we were very well taken care of by the wait staff. The ceremony went off without a hitch due to the coordinator/manager James Ables, however i had to help move along the reception timeline after he left. The food was pretty good, about what I expected. Overall it was a wonderful experience and a venue I would definitely recommend. Well worth the price!

How do we begin to explain the unending gratitude and emotions we have for the dream wedding we were blessed with? Two weeks before the wedding I pretty much had everything ready to go for our big day, and when I met with Rachael on the final details I was overwhelmed with excitement on how much everything was falling into place. Rachael, as always, was very prepared on the things I didn’t even know to think about, and our final planning and lists for the wedding day went more smoothly than I imagined.
When all of our family and wedding party arrived for rehearsal, there was no delay in where we needed to go and what we all needed to do. Rachael’s obvious excitement helped in the already brewing anticipation for the wedding, and it was wonderful to have someone everyone could work with so easily. Prepping for what was to come the next day was a piece of cake, and all questions and concerns that came up last minute were answered quickly and with ease. She never ceases to amaze us with her extreme organization and attention to detail.
Upon the bride’s arrival to La Caille in the early afternoon, the bride’s room was perfectly setup with fruits, snacks, and beverages. The staff was very attentive, and Rachael was wonderful in assuring everything was setup as planned for the ceremony and dinner reception. The dinner reception started promptly, and the setup of the Grand Pavilion was absolutely beautiful! The 3-course dinner was exquisite and we got so many compliments on how delicious it was! As the night came to a close, it was very reassuring to know all of our personal belongings, gifts, pictures, etc were all taken care of by the staff of La Caille. Their attention to us and what we needed was pristine, and we can’t thank you enough for making our day without stress. It meant so much to know that all we had to worry about was enjoying our wedding. :)

La Caille was the perfect venue for our wedding. We have heard from multiple guests that our celebration was the "best wedding they have ever attended." Lane, Rachael and the entire La Caille staff worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy leading up to and throughout the entire event. Despite a downpour three hours before the event, the staff was flexible and set up our ceremony both indoors and outdoors allowing us to decide two hours prior to the wedding. I could not be happier with my experience and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous, fairy-tale like setting in the Salt Lake Valley.

I feel the venue is the most important part! La Caille is absolutely beautiful and made the whole day amazing! I had a lot of out of town guests, and they were blown away by the beautiful scenery and atmosphere! Great staff and great food! Wouldn't have changed the venue for anything!!

I would love to give La Caille a 5-star review, but glaring issues with the wedding department left us very disappointed. The venue is stunning, the wait staff is very attentive, and the food is delicious. Overall, our guests enjoyed themselves immensely – perfect 5 stars in those areas.
Unfortunately, due to poor execution on the part of the wedding department, the event was very stressful for us and our immediate family. We communicated several times with “our wedding planner” over 7 months. Two weeks before the wedding we were informed that our coordinator would not be at the wedding or the rehearsal. When we expressed concern, she reassured us that she had made copious notes and the other coordinators were professionals. The week of wedding, when we asked if we could meet the wedding coordinator at the rehearsal, we were told that he was not available that day. Instead, the day of the wedding, I rushed to get to the venue an hour early so I could meet with the coordinator.
It was really stressful when I arrived at the venue, and it became apparent many of the explicit notes we made with the original coordinator had not been passed on: seating chart, table arrangement, buffet orientation, name cards & guest book set up (I did not realize until later that the new table configuration meant all of the table numbers were off too - the grooms 2nd cousins sat closer to us than his father). Just a few of the things that were not done as discussed, again on multiple occasions. The most upsetting of all was when I walked down the aisle with my father – it was too small. It was not even large enough for the groom and his brother to walk down next to each other. In two separate meetings with the original coordinator I requested a larger than normal aisle because the florist was using Sheppard’s hooks and I had a full dress. Needless to say, hours of planning were wasted.
Equally unprofessional and frustrating, were the numerous times the new coordinator pulled us or our family members away from the reception to ask questions – all of which we had gone over extensively with the original coordinator. At least half of them regarded the bar tab, which we agreed would be cash bar once finished. Later a guest told us he mentioned the dwindling tab to the bartender after over hearing the coordinator. The bartender told him there was still plenty of money on the tab. We feel like the coordinator was pushing us, and our parents, to put down more money (not to mention the bartenders put out a tip jar which we were assured by the original wedding planner would not happen since a 20% gratuity was included in our bill). Two and a half hours into the wedding reception I had to tell the coordinator under no circumstance was he to pull us or any members of our family away from the reception – completely unacceptable.
Coordinating events is part of my job. I understand that things will not go perfectly, and there were understandable details that did not. Unfortunately, the issues listed above were unacceptable, given the amount of specific coordination we did on our end with the venue. Our concerns and requests were not taken seriously, and no attempt was made to work us after a critical, last minute change. Overall it was unprofessional and unsatisfactory delivery of contractual services.

This is the most beautiful venue in all of Utah. They are so professional and everything flows so smoothly. They really do make your special day worry free!!! I would not even consider getting married anywhere else in the state and I'm glad I didn't!!!
