L.A. Catering

L.A. Catering catered my wedding at their venue, Station 67. I can’t say enough positive things about the entire process. Their staff, especially Stacy Lombardo, was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Stacy took the time to answer all of my questions and make changes up to the last minute. She was super friendly and gave me great advice when I didn’t know what direction to take. We had a perfect wedding day in large part thanks to L.A. Catering!

L.A. Catering was an excellent choice for my wedding! My husband and I had a very short engagement (3 months) and Stacy and the team worked so fast and efficiently with us (from logistics and linens to food). Stacy answered so many questions and helped us design an entirely vegan menu. We had gnocchi, portabella mushroom stacks, roasted carrots and potatoes, apple nachos, chips and salsa, hummus crostini, and a salad set on the tables beforehand. All of it was so delicious! The chefs even made a couple of cherry and peach cobblers as a dessert option. I didn't even get to try it because it was completely gone before I even saw it placed on the buffet table! Myself and the guests only had wonderful things to say about the staff. And Stacy even saved my husband and I appetizers and brought me Tide wipes for when I spilled a bit of food on my outfit. Do not hesitate to reach out to LA. Catering for your event. The food was even better at our event than it was at the tasting (usually it's the other way around) and you'll be supporting an organization that helps so many individuals around Columbus!

Stacy was phenomenal with Station 67/LA Catering! We planned our wedding in Ohio, while living out of state, and found her to be wonderfully communicative. Beyond that, she was super helpful in sharing ideas when It I had no idea what to do. I honestly will really miss working with her to plan our wedding. It was stress free (or as stress free as a wedding can be). The venue was beautiful, but it really was LA Catering (who they require you work with) who took the cake! Amazing food. And all of the LA Catering staff the night of was so kind, organized, and just overall lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone!

We hired LA Catering to handle our catering needs for our wedding reception. From the moment we contacted LA Catering, the staff was responsive, easy to work with, and made the process fun.  They helped us navigate things we hadn’t thought of, made thoughtful suggestions, and were full of helpful information. In addition to all of the planning, our event was seamless because of the wonderful staff.  The food was delicious, and the staff were a joy to have at our event. They provided fantastic service to all of our guests, and laid the foundation for a wonderful evening for everyone.  I lost count of the compliments I received from guests about both the food and the service.  There is not a single thing I would have changed or done differently. We originally chose to reach out to LA Catering because of their affiliation with a non-profit and the wonderful work it allows them to do within our community through Life Care Alliance.  Setting that aside, their catering division is fantastic on it’s own.  I cannot recommend them enough.

We had a wonderful experience with Stacey from LA Catering. She made sure everything was perfect for our day. She entertained our ideas and helped us work through what was possible. The food was excellent as well. They even made a special dish for us that was not on the menu.

Stacy was amazing to work with at LA Catering! From the big picture items such as what main course to serve all the way to the details of setting up the reception area on the day of, she is there for you through the whole process. There is no question too small or detail she doesn't think of. We served pot roast, cilantro lime chicken, green beans, and potatoes with the apple walnut salad. All the food was absolutely delicious with guests requesting seconds! Stacy and her team were very accommodating for our dietary requirements including gluten free and vegetarian. Thank you, Stacy!

I hired L.A. Catering because they were one of my venue's preferred caterers. I was nervous doing so because they didn't have very many reviews on any of the wedding websites, but the google reviews looked good and I liked the fact that they were affordable and part of my city's Meals on Wheels program. I did a tasting back in February (it was fine but not amazing) and picked out some menu items for my reception. In May I invited my parents and my husband's parents to a Taste of LA event and my parents were horrified by how bad the food was. My husband and I went back later in the summer for a second tasting with a new chef, which was much much better, but I was still nervous. It didn't help that L.A. Catering has been seriously understaffed this year and getting a response back from them often took several days or a follow up email from myself or another vendor. Up until the day of my wedding I was stressed out that I had chosen the wrong caterer. Then the day of the wedding arrived. All the tables and chairs were set up exactly as they needed to be. The bartender they brought in was amazingly friendly and kind (when I tried to help clean up towards the end of the night, the bartender literally handed me a drink and told me to go enjoy myself). The staff was courteous and helpful. And everyone raved about the food, including my parents who actually said it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. So here is my advice: 2021 is a crazy busy time to plan a wedding and I have heard that 2022 is going to be even more insane. Everyone is understaffed but I believe that they are all trying their best. Have patience and show some grace. It may be a rocky road, but sometimes a caterer can still hit it out of the ballpark when the moment comes. And that is exactly what L.A. Catering did. They were amazing. So, yes, I would recommend them but definitely have your colorist on speed dial because the planning process will give you gray hair.

Our experience with LA Catering was everything we wanted! Sara was SUCH a huge part of our wedding and we truly couldn't have done it without her! She was open to every idea we had and was able to accommodate everything we brought to her. The food was amazing and we received such great feedback from our guests! We highly recommend working with LA Catering!

Our experience with LA Catering was great! Sara went above and beyond for us and was able to accommodate even the littlest details. We received nothing but compliments about the food from our guests. They were able to accommodate many of our guests who were vegan with a delicious meal as well. I cannot express enough how pleased we were with the service we received!

Our wedding saw it’s fair share of changes and hiccups, the last of which brought us to LA Catering and Sara roughly 3-4 weeks before our event. Sara and her team at LA impressed my wife and I so much! Sara was able to get us a menu that her team doesn’t usually serve to make our vision come true. LA Catering delivered beyond our expectations. They were one of the pricier options, not the priciest but they also run a non-profit food service in conjunction with the catering business so the money you spend goes to a just cause. Sara truly went above and beyond with customer service. She dropped off my brother in law’s keys the following morning after he left them in the venue the night before. We would recommend LA Catering to anyone!

We had our 80 person wedding catered by A Catered Event and highly recommend! Our appetizer display was a show stopper and the plated food was delicious. Staff was super friendly and on top of things. And I cannot say enough positive things about their manager John. He was INCREDIBLE. He made sure everything was perfect, he was a joy to work with, and he made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this company just because of him!

The LA Catering staff was so helpful from the early planning stage through the actual reception! Their friendly and personable staff made working with them one stress I didnt have to worry about! Everything was exactly as they explained and could not have gone smoother. The food was excellent! We did not get one negative comment from any of the 300+ guests at the reception. Everyone loved the food and still talk about the Mashed Potato Bar :)
