From the moment we toured the venue, to planning details along the way, to the big day, communication was excellent. The hotel suggested vendors for our wedding that made vendor selection easy, and all of them were equally fantastic. The service the entire weekend was outstanding. The bridal suite was a fantastic space for the girls to get ready, made even better by the mimosas and treats the staff brought up. The team also went above and beyond for our family, even using the hotel golf carts to shuttle the grandparents to nearby restaurants so they wouldn't have to walk far. The food at the wedding was top-notch, with many guests raving about the meal. I was impressed with the number of wait staff who made sure the evening went smoothly. Overall, it was an incredible event, and we highly recommend La Valencia hotel.

its 1920s old Hollywood feel are pure magic. Bobby Fader, Dani Hendricks, and the entire team took incredible care of us and made the day seamless and unforgettable. Our guests are still talking about it, and so many said it was the best wedding dinner they have ever had. It feels like a second home to us now, and we cannot recommend it enough!

Then during the actual big day, everything ran incredibly smoothly and Bobby even helped us with little things like printing out our vows and speeches and finding a collar stay last minute for my brother. The venue’s preferred vendor list is impeccable and I trusted them each step of the way. We got married in December and had a complimentary sparkling wine welcome for our guests and an extra 30 minutes to the day. Essentially if you’re thinking even a little bit about looking into La Valencia you should book them now!

They are also dog friendly and had great recommendations for us for a dog sitter the day of. Having that really helped us enjoy the day knowing our pup was taken care of.

only is the property stunning (and I have stayed at my fair share of 5 star hotels around the world), but the service is impeccable too. I hosted my wedding here this month, and every part from the site visit, to the menu tasting, to the room blocks, to the incredible service at the pool (Mike is the absolute best!), was perfect from start to finish. I received nothing but compliments from 90+ guests, and it is a true testament to the hotel, to Bobby, Dani, Mike, and every other single staff member of this hotel. We are already talking about having a yearly vacation here to celebrate our anniversary, and I cannot wait to go back.

he team. Picking La Valencia as our venue was the best decision we made! Bobby and Dani were amazing to work with- they listened to us and made sure our dream day became a reality. They were always available for questions and we could not have had our wedding without them! The entire La Valencia staff was extremely professional, kind, and accommodating which made a lasting impression on us and our guests. The food was unreal- from the passed appetizers to the main course- and was easily the best food we've had at a a wedding (biased, I know). The location was stunning and the pictures turned out amazing. There is not one complaint we have from our wedding. If you are thinking of having your wedding at La Valencia- do it! We wish we could relive it over and over again.

n California coastal venue, the hotel was absolutely top-tier to work with. A few callouts; BOBBY the catering director was just fabulous. He was personable, warm and kept us laughing, but also was extremely accommodating and helpful from countless questions over our months planning via email, hopping on calls to sort out details and even helping us work with our budget to have our dream day at this destination. The organization and professionalism of the whole staff was phenomenal and when I tell you, this is the best wedding food any of your guests will ever have, I am SERIOUS! Our tasting was one of the most fun experiences and we could not get over how amazing the food was. Our guests agreed and we probably had over 15 people tell us it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. While La V was not a cheap or even middle of the road option, we found that for the luxury and class it offered, it was only slightly more expensive than many other hotels in l Jolla and Coronado but the value was supremely more. They truly did all of the heavy lifting and that was worth its weight in gold. We also really appreciated that they handled our final billing about a week after the wedding so we could enjoy the day of days following. Our night before venue had us close out the day of the event, which was very tacky. La V is just class in every sense of the word. Last call outs; it is a smaller dining room which felt perfect for 110 people (we wanted to room to feel full at less than 150). I don’t think you could comfortably seat much more than that but they do cater to 150. I also REALLY wished the hotel would offer overnight rental of the bridal getting ready suite upon availability. My fiancé and I did not want to stay the night before the wedding and this would’ve been a perfect solution to wake up oceanfront in the bridal suite! Last, the getting ready menus were a little ridiculously priced. For how much we spent to have a wedding there, I was floored to see a carafe of coffee at $125. I think they could be more accommodating when it comes to complimentary tea and coffee when they’re charging $30 for a half sandwich. But then again, this is the wedding industry! Overall, would give anything to relive the day and cannot more recommend La Valencia making your investment worth the while! Thank you for the lifetime memory!

Overall, it truly was the perfect day—and we’ll be back to stay at the hotel as often as we can to recreate the memories!

They worked with us to make our wedding day as unique as we envisioned, never shutting down ideas but listening to us and when needed finding the option we were excited about if an original idea couldn’t be seen through. Day of the wedding we felt so cared for: we didn’t choose hard alcohol to be served during the reception, but they made sure there were a few ingredients for our favorite drink at the wine/beer bar just in case sense we missed some of the cocktail hour for photos; during the reception, we were checked on intentionally to see if we needed anything or if anything else could be done for us; and our honeymoon suite was laced with some of our cake, a bottle of champagne, and macaroons, with a hand written note of congratulations. We look forward to visiting La Valencia again, to relive the memories and say hi and give our praise to all the staff who made our day the magical day it was.
