Brandi and I immediately connected on a personal level and she was a joy to work with during our wedding planning process! We used her as a day of coordinator but was available for any questions since the beginning, which we greatly appreciated. Starting 2 months out, she then contacted all of our vendors to arrange all the details and created a comprehensive timeline for us. She even came to our tasting/ timeline meeting at our venue to work with the venue coordinator. It was amazing that she already had great prior relationships with most of our vendors already. The wedding day ran seamlessly without any issues with huge thanks to her organization!
Brandi was so easy to work with! She was so helpful during the planning meetings and on wedding day. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was able to quickly adapt/change our timeline when weather adjusted our plans, without adding any stress. She was amazing!
Brandi and Janie were such a joy to work with! We hired Brandi as our wedding-day-of coordinator, and she went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. She was on top of our timeline and vendors, and worked to make sure our wedding party was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there! My only regret was not hiring her for the entire planning process! I would recommend Brandi to anyone planning their wedding :)
Working with Brandi was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning journey. We love Brandi and can’t thank the Laced with Grace team enough. I think Brandi personally does all wedding herself; Think I read that on her Instagram page. Come to think of it, I did discover her through some recommendations as well as multiple positive Instagram posts. We wanted a professional with seasoned experience, not just coordinating many weddings but particularly having worked with our venue. Laced with Grace did monthly check ins, has an organized and intentional platform for planning, and we had consistent meetings as needed, closer to the wedding date. The reach out and follow up work the team did with our other vendors, was very professional and timely. Our wedding day was a success, timeline went smoothly, any potential blunders were completely avoided, and all transition was natural and not awkward. She kept all wedding party, immediate family, and staffs neatly organized and prepped for every moment in the itinerary. Took the stress away from Bride, groom, and family, as well as create a relaxing but controlled atmosphere for guests. My family can’t rave enough about how well coordinated everything was. Recommend her 100% percent.
We loved Brandi! Not only was Laced with Grace one of the most cost effective options we found in Houston, but Brandi was on top of things from the beginning and helped relieve so much stress leading up to the wedding. She was very communicative with our other vendors and with me and ensured everything was set up in the reception hall and chapel as planned and the wedding day ran as scheduled. My husband and I dropped the ball in communicating what items needed to be taken from the venue after the wedding, but Brandi still did her best to talk to my bridal party and parents to ensure everything that needed to go was in a car to leave. Overall, we had a great experience, and would absolutely recommend!
Brandi is truly amazing! When I spoke with her on the phone for our consult, we hit it off right away. I could see that she actually cared and there was passion behind her drive. Although I had most of my vendors already booked when I met her, she made the process and communication from months out until the day-of a breeze! She calmed me down when I was not sleeping and stressed out and thought of every detail that I did not know I needed. She is sweet, caring, organized, flexible, and a joy to be around. I had a large wedding so she even had an assistant coordinator help for my wedding day. They were great and everything was so smooth. I am so thankful I found Brandi and definitely recommend her!
I found Ms. Brandi from our preferred vendor list and as soon as I made the phone call, I immediately knew she was going to be my coordinator. I planned my own wedding but she absolutely nailed the execution. I appreciate how kind and awesome she is! She is professional and super flexible — you can tell she’s done this before. There were some details I wasn’t aware of before and added last minute like who was walking my mom down the aisle (don’t judge me, lol) but she made it happen. The DJ played the wrong song for our first dance and she asked if we wanted to have a dance to ourselves with the correct song. But later we decided we just wanted to dance the night away with our guests and she rolled with it! (Sorry for being indecisive, Brandi! 😂) She never made me feel like she did not care for me on my big day. She is very attentive to your needs but doesn’t hover and she even brought me a drink after the ceremony! So sweet! She is a dream to work with. Highly highly recommend!!!
I am not much of a review writer but after almost 3 month I’ve finally come to write this one! We used Brandi for day of coordinating and at first I was unsure why our venue needed one but when I tell you I would not have survived the wedding day without our Brandi I 100% mean it. I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. At all. Literally she took care of absolutely everything, I have never been so calm and collected than one my wedding day and I owe it to her! It was the best thing to do because no one wants to be stressed on their wedding day or having to worry about little details. I remember thinking how perfect everything went. The day flew so smooth and perfect I really couldn’t believe it. Everyone can’t stop talking about how shocked they are of how smooth the day went. I would 100% recommend using Brandi I promise you it will save you headaches and stress!
Everyone needs a Brandi!!! Not even sure where to begin with this review...mainly because I’m so sad my wedding planning days with Brandi are over...But I am fully convinced this is not goodbye because she has truly become one of my very dear friends through this entire process! When I first met Brandi I was a complete basket case of emotions planning my wedding. I was 110% convinced my husband and I would end up eloping because it was one of the most overwhelming thoughts thinking about everything that goes into planning a wedding. After our first phone call (that my mom arranged) I went from overwhelming tears to feeling like everything was going to be okay. Brandi took my under her wing and it truly felt like we took over the world after that moment and planned one of the most spectacular (and epic) nights I will never forget. I always knew I wanted a big fairy tail wedding, but I never knew it could be possible. Brandi brought SO many vendors and options and ideas and price points that I didn’t even know existed and helped bring everything to life. She helped manage SO many emails, phone calls, and contracts and questions I wouldn’t have ever thought to ask. She truly navigated this entire process so gracefully with me. If you are a bride that is intimidated by wedding planning - CALL BRANDI. If you are a bride that’s known exactly what venue, food, color scheme, floral design, center pieces you’ve always wanted since you were 5 - CALL BRANDI. She knows everyone in the city and she’s your girl to help make it all the dreams come to life!
I really cannot say enough about my experience with Brandi. But if there is one thing to convince you to make the call - out of all our vendors- Laced with Grace was BY FAR my husbands favorite vendor, and my Mothers favorite vendor. She took all my stress and turned it into an amazing experience I’ll never forget. Worth. Every. Penny.
Brandi and her team were amazing! Brandi and I clicked over our initial phone call and I immediately knew I wanted her to be a part of our special day. Due to COVID, we only had phone calls and video chats, but she understood me and was quick to jump on anything I needed or wanted. The day of went AMAZING. I felt like we were thrown every curveball in the book down to loosing most of our bridal parties, BUT my husband and I haven't stopped talking about how perfect it was. I didn't stress not one bit knowing I was in good hands and she had it under control. Do yourself a favor now and book her. You NEED a day of coordinator!!!
Hire a wedding planner! That’s hands down something not a lot of brides had told me prior to getting married and wow what the difference it made on our wedding day having Brandi with us. She helped me perfect every part of our day and helped me enjoy every second! There were a few small hiccups, none of her fault but as soon as she or I saw them she was on top of fixing them and making it flawless. No one would have known cocktail hour wasn’t setup minutes before our wedding was started. Her and Janie were also the best bartenders always having a drink in hand whenever we needed one. Not to sound like an alcoholic but you don’t want to spend your time at the bar on your wedding night! Brandi’s personality is truly special as well. She is so kind and patient which makes you feel so relaxed during the wedding planning process and on wedding day. Cannot recommend her enough!
My daughter's wedding was 3-21-2020 the week that Texas shut down due to Covid. Brandi never hesitated to help us shift gears to a small ceremony at our home and then again to help us celebrate at the postponed reception in September. She truly went above and beyond to hold our hands in March as the details for the March wedding all had to be shifted. And then in September she stepped right in again to make a flawless celebration happen for our family.
Brandi was the reason why my wedding was so amazing. She helped me work out the quirks and crazy ideas I had from 6 weeks out and was there every time I needed her on the day of. I don't know of any issues that happened on my big day because she had already handled it and didn't let me stress or even tell me if anything went wrong! I definitely recommend her to any one who is getting married. ALWAYS GET A COORDINATOR!!
I've had the pleasure of working with Brandi for three years now and it has been FUN collaborating with her and mutual brides. From the initial meeting, Brandi puts her brides at ease and assures them that she will be be there every step of the way to assure, support, nudge - so that all those tiny little details are taken care of! As a vendor, I love that she is detail oriented and makes sure we have our i's dotted and t's crossed. The day of, she is punctual, hands on and on point.
Brandi is absolutely amazing. First, she is on her A game when it comes to pre-wedding meetings, questions, vendor recommendations and helping the bride plan her perfect day. She helped Dylan and I stream line our wedding to be exactly what we wanted...lots of fun, beautiful and a night to remember!! She completely took over my vendors and contacts several months out and starting planning every detail out. She even caught a mistake I made with a contract and helped me correct it immediately (if it wasn't for her I would not have had hair and made up for my wedding day due to my mistake). Lastly, our wedding day went so smoothly! She made sure everything was set up perfectly and exactly how we wanted it. Her and Dan (Brandi's assistant) made our day ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! Dylan just kept saying wow they are amazing and I have not gone without a drink all night (every time we turned around they were there refreshing our glasses or had a new one to hand us). I cannot thank them both enough for their amazing work and making our day so incredible!!
First and foremost, we couldn't have done it without Brandi. As wedding photographers ourselves, we were super busy with our jobs and having to plan our own wedding. Brandi was on top of everything and made sure that we got stuff done on time. She was always on time and very professional. Our wedding exceeded our expectations and I couldn't be much happier. It was a beautiful day and again, we could not have done it without her. Having a wedding planner definitely takes the stress off of your family and friends, they are able to enjoy the day and that is worth more than anything. I highly suggest you to hire Brandi, she is amazing! We got so many compliments from friend, family and other vendors about how great she is. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives and I can't help but thank her for putting it all together. She will always be a great vendor, colleague, and an amazing friend.
To put it plainly, I was not impressed. Brandi was recommended by another vendor and was polite on our initial phone call. Once our contract was signed, she became more and more distant throughout the following months. She is not a kind person and even said that she “tells it like it is.”
-She sat more than once during our roughly 30 minute rehearsal and watched the wedding party look confused and out of place. She basically introduced herself, called out people by name, and let them figure it out for the majority of the time.
-My husband and I walked out the chapel doors seconds after saying I do when she pulled me to the side to say that there was a problem. She felt the need to tell me at that moment that my aunt had been rude to her and went on for about a minute in great detail.
-She also moments later told my mother that she had altered the authorities about my aunt. Not only was I appalled, my husband asked her to stop, and the photographer couldn’t even believe she had ruined such a happy moment.
-With that being said, I had issues with her throughout the planning process. We had to bring bullet points to discuss with her during our last planning meeting about ways she was still not meeting our expectations. Thankfully that was about two weeks before the wedding and she didn’t lose communication between then and wedding day. Prior to that it would take days (to a week or more) to get a response, sometimes to even the most simple questions. That was if we got a response at all. She would also have the wrong information even though I had emailed it or communicated it in another fashion.
-She and her assistant both were seating people at our ceremony. We had specifically reserved seats on either side for family. She seated NO ONE on the bride's side. It ended up being my mom, dad and grandma in the front row with 3 EMPTY rows behind her. It looks appalling in pictures.
-To top it off, we came home to find our cake topper broken which left me in tears. I have found out she broke it, then asked around if anyone had anything to fix it. I was in tears.
-She frequently told other vendors that night that she didn’t know how to approach myself or my mom, so she chose not to. I don’t exactly know how you effectively coordinate a wedding when you are scared to speak to the bride and her family.
Overall, no one in the wedding party was impressed. People went out of their way to ask what was up with the situation. I am sure there are other people with similar prices that can perform better.
I enjoyed working with Brandi. It was easy to communicate with her throughout the wedding planning process. I truly appreciated her vendor recommendations and her ideas for the day of. Finalizing details was easy with her. I'm sure I would have forgotten many things if it wasn't for her expertise and it was a relief not to have to communicate with the vendors the weeks leading up to the day of. The day of was hectic but I was able to enjoy most of my day because she made sure we stayed on schedule even when one of my vendors was late. There were some learning experiences. Unfortunately there wasn't much direction as to what would happen after send off. My mom had to take lead in the matter. After hearing this I felt bad for my mom because she has arthritis on her knees and I know it had to be stressful and painful for her. Additionally, many things were "lost" in the process of unloading and setting up. I think if Brandy would have been there from the beginning to give direction during set up this could have been avoided and I would not have had to search for things during the wedding or hear the next day that the bar ran out of this and did not have that even though I knew I brought it to the venue because I made an inventory of everything I brought. I would definitely recommend brides to have their wedding coordinator be at the venue from the very beginning and, if possible, through clean up.
My overall experience with Laced with Grace and Brandi was pretty good! When I was first looking to hire a wedding planner, I focused on planners with the most excellent reviews & trusted partners of my venue, but in speaking with many of them, I felt like just a number.
Pros:
- My first conversation with Brandi made me feel heard and welcomed into the planning process, and she had such a genuine character.
- Brandi was there to answer questions and give advice in person, through texts, and via Skype chats.
- She was always available to help, even with things that may have been out of scope, and I really appreciated her openness and availability.
- On the day of the wedding, she helped assist with set-up and fixing some last minute details (like painting the backs of my escort displays) that weren't expected!
Cons:
- My first constructive criticism is appropriate dress. Weddings are a formal event -- and even if the dress code is more casual (which our wedding was not) -- planners should dress accordingly. Unfortunately, Brandi was working in knee-high furred UGG boots. I know this is a small, maybe irrelevant detail, but it surprised me and many guests who were curious who they were taking direction from because the attire didn't match the authority. However, her assistant was dressed very professionally! Simply stated, dress for the part and the event.
- I unfortunately heard some mixed stories of the way they were spoken to before the reception began and at the end. Some guests complained that there was little direction of where to go/be for cocktail hour and were rather ordered to stay outside than "welcomed" to the outdoor cocktail hour. Additionally, at the end of the night when personal items were meant to be gathered and given to the right person, some members of the family and bridal/groom party stated they were again ordered to pick items up and take them without much help or assistance by the coordinators, and even warned repeatedly of being fined by the venue if they didn't hurry and do it. Emotions run high during weddings, and so if multiple members of family and party come to complain that they felt they were spoken to rudely without an offer of much help, I believe them. So it is my hope that a future bride/groom makes sure that a clear plan is communicated with the coordinators and bridal party of the exact plan to clear out at the end of the night.
- In our timeline, Brandi was not set to arrive until around noon, while myself, bridal party, and vendors arrived early in the morning. Without her there, I had to deal with a 1 or 2 vendors being late to show, and communicate to her that this had happened. Fortunately, everyone arrived and things went accordingly -- but looking back I think being present at the start of the day is necessary to confront these issues instead of the bride being nervous and checking about these issues.
Overall, the pros outweighed the cons of working with Laced with Grace, and I would recommend her services to anyone! Weddings take a lot of work and planning, and Brandi was there for me. Just make sure to really discuss expectations and make sure everyone is on board!!
Brandi was so much fun to work with, and she is the sweetest person! Even though she is sweet, she was able to rangle-in my large and loud wedding party and family. My day could not have been more perfect, and I was thankful Brandi helped ease my worries/nerves.
Brandi was a joy to work with. She was flexible with her meeting times & places, which was great for my work & kids' schedule. I only used her for "day of" coordinating, but we met a couple times before the day to ensure everything was on track. She talked to all my vendors to make sure all the bases were covered. And the day of our wedding went so smooth; if there had been any issues, I didnt know about them because she handled everything without having to evolve me. We were able to relax & enjoy our wedding knowing we were in good hands.
