room is warm and welcoming. The staff, from day one, went above and beyond to make sure their nuptials were special. The staff, Laurie, Lori, Chelsey, Tracy and Heather, worked hard on all the details leading up to the big day. When we arrived, to my delight, we were able to get an early check in to our rooms and set up for the reception early! We welcomed guests the day before the ceremony in the fireplace foyer and it had a cool vibe, good food, and great staff! Martin took good care of us. The big day was a whirlwind and Lori and Chelsey went above and beyond to help with as much as they could to make everything perfect. It was a little colder than expected and the catering staff was able to serve hot buttered rum out at the ceremony! The guests loved the extra hospitality. The reception was held in the Lakeview Terrace room and it was perfect for 108 guests. Catering service did an awesome job and everything looked and tasted wonderful. Martin and his staff even made sure there was a slice of wedding cake held for the mother of the bride to enjoy with her coffee the next morning. I would also like to add that the few minor issues we experienced were quickly addressed and resolved by the staff. I understand that a three day event with 100+ guests is going to require modifications. I really appreciated that the staff made prompt corrections and was very accommodating. We would highly recommend this venue for your next special event!

sked him he said he wasn’t adding it to our tab but many guests told me at the wedding their liquor was free and I got confused. At the end of the night no one was around to take any of our items so we had to bring our own card box to our room and thank god we did because we left the rest figuring they would take care of it. Well, they lost our guest book. Still hasn’t shown up? Idk how you loose that but it’s a huge bummer because I love to reminisce and know I would have looked back on that often. Then we got a $3,000 bill for alcohol after the wedding even with all the issues. We were able to work through it but it took over two weeks. 100% recommend DJ Clay and Deborah through fleuris flowers. We had so much fun dancing and my flowers were a dream!!

that we liked and received a discount on services. Marina, the wedding coordinator that came with the venue made everything so easy and perfect, our special day was flawless. There was not a lot of planning to do because the venue had all the vendors on-site which was amazing. A big shout out to all of our vendors -Dj Clay, Greg and Stacy (Zook photography), catering, Debbra Roberston (Fleruris-/flower studio), Brittany Schwartz (hair/makeup), Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (candy apples). would so highly recommend this venue to any couple who wants to get married in a beautiful location and be treated with the utmost respect. I will forever remember my wedding and remember the people and the staff that made it even more beautiful of a day. I even had my hair and make up done at the spa of the Pines which is located on site and Jamie did such a wonderful job. One of the banquet servers name Patty also took such great care of us at our table very attentive and constantly making sure that we were comfortable. All in all it was one of the best experiences of my life thank you lake arrowhead resort and spa.

the weekend of the wedding she made everything come together and perfect ! All employees treated us and my guests like VIPs . The day of the wedding they had blankets and heaters out for the ceremony, was surprised and again soo happy. Wouldn't have changed a thing. The resort is beautiful and our suite was great . location, friendly staff, DELICIOUS food and excellent service. When we checked out venue sites we instantly fell in LOVE with the ceremony site overlooking the lake which made picking this venue easy. The resort is gorgeous from the lobby to the bar to the hotel rooms. Many guests said it was the best wedding they have been to. I love that all of the guests can stay at the resort so you don't have to worry about transportation and can keep the party going all night long. There is a lot to do on the mountain to accommodate all types of guests. We had friends go hiking, kayaking, golfing... although many took advantage of Oktoberfest in the village which is walking distance from the hotel. Many of our guests had never been to the mountains and almost all have said they cannot wait to go back and cant believe they had never discovered this California gem before. We were so pleased everyone loved the mountains and the resort as much as we do. Gina Richardson was our day of coordinator and she was amazing to work with. We felt lucky to have Gina planning our wedding. She took care of every little detail and eased my mind completely during the whole process. She really went above and beyond to make sure the big day went off without a hitch. She continuously checked in on me the day of, even bringing me and my Dad champagne before the ceremony to calm our nerves. Gina promptly responded to my MANY MANY emails and questions and was an absolute pleasure to work with I could not have done it without her! Everyone at the resort was extremely accommodating and really what more could you ask for from your wedding venue? I could not recommend this venue more! Aside from all that our coordinator Marina was 100% my favorite person to work with during my whole planning at the Resort :) sweetest most honest kind hearted woman around . I LOVED how during the most stressful part of my life planning the biggest day of our lives she had everything under CONTROL :) !! She and her team at the resort went above and beyond to make it all go smoothly . I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone getting married . Everything turned out exactly how I wanted in the end but it was a bit frustrating trying to re- communicate issues over and over again (both leading up to the event and in person the day before)-- and then come in and see mistakes that were already written out prior on paper. The resort takes in a good amount of weddings so I would like to say the lack of communication was that-- Though the staff setting up the room was accommodating- they were rude when given direction- giving each other looks when I would ask for things to be corrected or would try to argue on the layout- The coordinator Gina though always was very pleasant when asked to execute a task/ would communicate the orders to her staff to which they then would oblige. In the end, everything will be beautiful and your guests will be in awe-- leading up to it though you might get a few migraines but so weddings go! As far as rating I would give it a 4- Costumer service is key!

Even when the event was 2 days away and I was a mental tornado, tossing all my decorations at her & giving her a ragged explanation of what they were for, she took all my hard work and time and effort and set it up to be a beautiful, well-manicured wedding reception. I have such deep respect for her and I could never thank her enough for making my day such an touching experience.

their power to fit our budget. Our planner (Becky) was organized and efficiant. She was avaliable any time and helped us find other vendors for our wedding. On the wedding day there was not one problem. Everything was set up perfectly. As the bride, I did not have to worry about one thing because of the resort. They provide so much for the price and the food was amazing. We have had many guests from the wedding call us and thank us for a beautiful wedding and wonderful food. We were more than happy to pay the price of the resort.

edibly gracious and helpful throughout the entire weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with live music and cocktails in the lobby when we returned from our rehearsal dinner. There were a million tiny details involved in our ceremony and reception, and the staff did an incredible job remembering everything I had asked for. The food was perfect . . . we had customized our menu, but had the "Southern Exposure" buffet with lots of extras added. We still get compliments on our food! The vendors the resort referred us to all were perfect as well. The cake was included in the price of the venue, which was a big bonus. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable as well. Our room was decorated with roses and candles on our wedding night, which was a surprise to me. All in all I would highly recommend this resort . . . they did an amazing job helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. It was pricey, but that was mainly due to the choices we made . . . we could have had our wedding for half the price there but it would have meant compromising on certain things like food and bar.
