Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa

All we can say is WOW. From the moment we first arrived at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa to tour the property, we knew we'd found our venue. Laurie, the Event Manager, walked us around the property, explaining all the possibilities with each location within the resort from the ceremony space, to cocktail hour, to the reception. We had very specific requests for our big day as well and our direct Wedding Coordinator with the resort, Daryl, was so incredibly accommodating to make sure our dream wedding would become a reality. All of our guests shared that ours was one of the best weddings they'd attended in a long time and so much of that was because of the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa team supporting our ideas and making our wedding such an outstanding event.

Very professional staff and SO easy to work with! They treated us like royalty the second we walked through the door. Very easy to contact with questions or concerns and they always replied quickly ready to assist. Day of the wedding everything went exactly as planned and very smooth. I HIGHLY recommend this location!

Our wedding at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa was everything we dreamed of! From the beginning of the planning process up to the end of our wedding night, the staff at the resort made everything easy for us and stress free. Having preferred vendors was extremely helpful, we were able to choose those vendors we felt most comfortable with, who we trusted to make our fall, romantic wedding come to fruition. A special thank you to Laurie Wolff and Darrel Artiaga. They answered every question we had with a prompt response. They also made sure we had everything we needed leading up to the wedding. When we did our walk through and tasting, they made us feel so special. Everyone was so welcoming and happy to lend a helping hand. They told us several times that they wanted to make our wedding day perfect, and honestly they did. We couldn’t have done it without them or the entire staff staff at the resort.

Here we are at four days post-wedding and we are still completely enamored with our special day. Where do we even begin? OK, here it goes: The ENTIRE team at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa were beyond spectacular, I will forget to name drop each person but I will try my hardest! Laurie, Darrel, Deming, Rob, Alexis, Brittany, Donnell, Joshua, Jonathan, Josh, Derek, Andy, Christina, Michelle, and more, to each and every one of you: THANK YOU, without you, our wedding would not have been as spectacular as it was. Each of the people mentioned above had a special piece in truly making the experience of planning and week-of memorable and stress-free. From answering questions about the venue, offering up options to accommodate our guest list size, brainstorming and customizing options for us, organizing and building the room blocks, making our food tasting a fun and family-like experience, treating us like royalty from the moment we stepped through the door, and for being warm and welcoming to our guests, the list goes on and on… Aside from the team that keeps Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa beautiful and homey, the venue location and accommodations are STUNNING. Our wedding was about 105 guests and every single person mentioned the beauty of the view we had from our rooms, suites, Lakeside Deck and lawn, restaurant and the high quality of offerings the resort has. Now, to the food. Wow. Jonathan and Josh, 105 hungry people at our wedding and not a complaint in sight. The food from arrival to departure was 5-star. Typically, you come to a wedding looking for food that is just going to soak up the open bar but our wedding, thanks to you, was a true fine dining experience. From the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, to the salad, and main courses, the display and taste were exactly how it should be done every where you go! Thank you a million times over for your hard, high-quality culinary expertise! Laurie and Darrel, I hold you both near and dear to our hearts for being there for us as we needed during the planning process and day-of. Darrel, you absolutely killed it managing our wonderful, very involved families, and kept us on schedule and kept me calm. You were there to accommodate my every request and need within minutes. Your skills at managing the day-of events was impressive but even more impressive to me was that beaming smile you gave Charlie and I when we walked back down the aisle, we felt like you were so proud and happy for us and it meant the world! Alexis, my goodness, you are a GEM. I will admittedly share (and my husband would agree), that I was kind-of a bridezilla and overall type-A. You not only calmed those nerves with every back and forth we had about room options, dates of arrival, changes to said arrival, and so much more. You are so incredible at your job and kind-hearted. Thank you for being you and making sure we had the best experience. Deming, we’ve unofficially coined you our resort Godfather. You always made sure we had the best drinks, table, and service at Bin189. We cannot wait to bring ourselves, future children, and families back to see you and toast to you. To wrap this up, I want to make sure I say once more, this venue was absolutely perfect. We wanted a rustic setting with lake views, beautiful trees, and mountains in the distance and it was utter perfection. My husband and I will visit the resort for years to come and feel a sense of home when we do. Thank you to all that made our dream a reality!

The team at Lake Arrowhead is incredible. Darrel, Travis and Laurie went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the most perfect wedding day and weekend. The chef and food were also amazing. I am so grateful to have had our wedding at Lake Arrowhead Resort. This place, and its people, will always be special to my husband and I, and our friends and family. We can't wait to come back and celebrate every year at our favorite spot. My husband and I got married at the Resort back in April of this year. We had planned our wedding for over a year, and through the whole process there were many challenges we faced up until about a month before our wedding day, most of which were beyond everyones control. Despite these challenges, the wedding team at the Resort really stepped up and put our concerns at ease, and gave us the perfect wedding weekend. Jamie, Laurie, & Lori, were absolutely wonderful. The wait staff was great, and the food was wonderful! Everyone was so kind, attentive, and they worked so hard to make sure there was not a single problem on our wedding day. Everything flowed seamlessly, and we had the time our lives. We cannot wait to go back up and visit on our wedding anniversary. :) <3

We booked our wedding at Lake Arrowhead Resort 7 months before our wedding date. They made the process simple and quick, and which allowed to put together things as quickly possible. They have amazing vendors from which they hand picked, and each loved coming up the resort to do weddings because it such a beautiful location. My only ick is that the coordinator there is not allowed to touch your stuff which I feel should be waived if given permission to help during the wedding. The food and drink provided are great and not overly expensive compared to other places.

I could not have had a more magical experience at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa for my wedding. From our tour to the tasting to the day of, the staff made my experience so wonderful. It was easy to connect with vendors (I was planning the wedding having lived two hours away). The venue is just stunning particularly the ceremony spot. You're able to get married on a gorgeous deck with stunning lake views. Because of just how gorgeous the spot is, you don't really need to do much in terms of decor, because nature creates the most beautiful setting. I would pick Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa over and over again if I could.

Having our wedding at Lake Arrowhead Resort was the absolute best. It was like having a destination wedding, but without requiring too much travel of our guests. I can't even begin to say how incredible the staff there is. Laurie, Lori, and Jamie were truly amazing to work with. About a month before the wedding, a freak blizzard dropped 10 feet of snow on the resort and I was SO worried we wouldn't be able to use the gorgeous lakeside ceremony site, but the team there worked their butts off to make sure we still got the wedding of our dreams. They even hired an outside team to make sure they were able to remove all the snow from the ceremony site for us. There are so many other things they did to make sure our day was perfect, and honestly I don't think our wedding could have turned out better. It was an absolute dream, thanks in large part to them. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous venue! Wonderful, helpful staff that are there helping every step of the way. Laurie is awesome, we loved everything about our special day!

The venue was gorgeous and the staff was super helpful. Laurie was very easy to work with and very welcoming. It felt like they really cared about us and our big day. Our guests loved the whole experience. Food was delicious and drinks were strong. The coordinators helped us through the planning process and were with us on the day to make sure everything happened at the right times and everyone was happy.

11.11.22 wedding and reception. The future bride and groom walked this property over a year ago and fell in love! The ceremony space on the deck overlooking the lake is gorgeous! The ambience in the lobby, fireplace foyer, and private reception room is warm and welcoming. The staff, from day one, went above and beyond to make sure their nuptials were special. The staff, Laurie, Lori, Chelsey, Tracy and Heather, worked hard on all the details leading up to the big day. When we arrived, to my delight, we were able to get an early check in to our rooms and set up for the reception early! We welcomed guests the day before the ceremony in the fireplace foyer and it had a cool vibe, good food, and great staff! Martin took good care of us.  The big day was a whirlwind and Lori and Chelsey went above and beyond to help with as much as they could to make everything perfect. It was a little colder than expected and the catering staff was able to serve hot buttered rum out at the ceremony! The guests loved the extra hospitality. The reception was held in the Lakeview Terrace room and it was perfect for 108 guests. Catering service did an awesome job and everything looked and tasted wonderful. Martin and his staff even made sure there was a slice of wedding cake held for the mother of the bride to enjoy with her coffee the next morning. I would also like to add that the few minor issues we experienced were quickly addressed and resolved by the staff. I understand that a three day event with 100+ guests is going to require modifications. I really appreciated that the staff made prompt corrections and was very accommodating. We would highly recommend this venue for your next special event!

Lake arrowhead and resort staff will go above and beyond to make your wedding special. Big shout out to Laurie wolf , Rick kinesthetic, Martin Sandoval, Tracy Snyder. They go above and beyond.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and it was always excellent but having my wedding here was truly a dream come true! The spa is perfection, the rooms are beautiful, and the entire staff, specifically Alyssa and Laurie in the wedding planning department, we’re more than I could have dreamed of. They were both so incredible caring and helpful through the stressful parts and it made it all the more meaningful during the day of. I highly recommend you use them!

Not going to lie there were some hiccups with this venue but it was not their fault. Covid caused staffing issues and they really fought to give every wedding the attention it deserved. Alyssa was a rock during the whole process and helped everything work out flawlessly during the day of. My wedding went off with no issues and she really coordinated with my vendors so I barely had to do anything. I recieved so many compliments on the food as well.

The venue itself is gorgeous but there were so many issues. They had caned wine at cocktail hour and into the reception which is not what I was paying for. The bartender was adding hard liquor to our tab, we only covered beer and wine. When I asked him he said he wasn’t adding it to our tab but many guests told me at the wedding their liquor was free and I got confused. At the end of the night no one was around to take any of our items so we had to bring our own card box to our room and thank god we did because we left the rest figuring they would take care of it. Well, they lost our guest book. Still hasn’t shown up? Idk how you loose that but it’s a huge bummer because I love to reminisce and know I would have looked back on that often. Then we got a $3,000 bill for alcohol after the wedding even with all the issues. We were able to work through it but it took over two weeks. 100% recommend DJ Clay and Deborah through fleuris flowers. We had so much fun dancing and my flowers were a dream!!

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding on the lake with a gorgeous view, look no further! This venue was everything we wanted and more. My wife and I first started off at the white carpet event (highly recommend going) and met some vendors that we liked and received a discount on services. Marina, the wedding coordinator that came with the venue made everything so easy and perfect, our special day was flawless. There was not a lot of planning to do because the venue had all the vendors on-site which was amazing. A big shout out to all of our vendors -Dj Clay, Greg and Stacy (Zook photography), catering, Debbra Roberston (Fleruris-/flower studio), Brittany Schwartz (hair/makeup), Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (candy apples). Big thanks to Cassie for booking all of our rooms. The venue staff, food, and rooms were amazing. I highly recommend this venue with all the vendors we chose. Thank you for making our wedding day a perfect experience!

We got married at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa just over a week ago, and could not be happier with our decision! The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. The banquet and event teams were superb, and the venue was beyond gorgeous. We would 100% recommend this venue!!

I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience I had at this resort. Marina the event coordinator was so highly organized and on top of everything and made the process so easy and made me feel welcome and made my day even more special. I would so highly recommend this venue to any couple who wants to get married in a beautiful location and be treated with the utmost respect. I will forever remember my wedding and remember the people and the staff that made it even more beautiful of a day. I even had my hair and make up done at the spa of the Pines which is located on site and Jamie did such a wonderful job. One of the banquet servers name Patty also took such great care of us at our table very attentive and constantly making sure that we were comfortable. All in all it was one of the best experiences of my life thank you lake arrowhead resort and spa.

We had the best experience at Lake Arrowhead Resort for our wedding.From the first inquiry they were very professional and offered decent pricing. I would highly recommend working with Marina , she was incredible the entire time, especially on the weekend of the wedding she made everything come together and perfect ! All employees treated us and my guests like VIPs . The day of the wedding they had blankets and heaters out for the ceremony, was surprised and again soo happy. Wouldn't have changed a thing. The resort is beautiful and our suite was great . We searched years for the perfect venue , I couldn't be happier that we chose LAR and were able to work with Marina.

If you are looking for a destination wedding vibe with an outdoor ceremony and gorgeous view look no further! We got married at the resort Oct 1, 2016 and I could not have picked a better venue. It captured everything we were looking for. Great location, friendly staff, DELICIOUS food and excellent service. When we checked out venue sites we instantly fell in LOVE with the ceremony site overlooking the lake which made picking this venue easy. The resort is gorgeous from the lobby to the bar to the hotel rooms. Many guests said it was the best wedding they have been to. I love that all of the guests can stay at the resort so you don't have to worry about transportation and can keep the party going all night long. There is a lot to do on the mountain to accommodate all types of guests. We had friends go hiking, kayaking, golfing... although many took advantage of Oktoberfest in the village which is walking distance from the hotel. Many of our guests had never been to the mountains and almost all have said they cannot wait to go back and cant believe they had never discovered this California gem before. We were so pleased everyone loved the mountains and the resort as much as we do. Gina Richardson was our day of coordinator and she was amazing to work with. We felt lucky to have Gina planning our wedding. She took care of every little detail and eased my mind completely during the whole process. She really went above and beyond to make sure the big day went off without a hitch. She continuously checked in on me the day of, even bringing me and my Dad champagne before the ceremony to calm our nerves. Gina promptly responded to my MANY MANY emails and questions and was an absolute pleasure to work with I could not have done it without her! Everyone at the resort was extremely accommodating and really what more could you ask for from your wedding venue? I could not recommend this venue more! We LOVED this venue !! All in one location for ceremony , reception, and hotel stay :) !! The view is the best part of it all ! The moment we saw the outdoor dock over looking the gorgeous lake for weddings we were SOLD. The food was amazing and came out on time and very tasty .. Aside from all that our coordinator Marina was 100% my favorite person to work with during my whole planning at the Resort :) sweetest most honest kind hearted woman around . I LOVED how during the most stressful part of my life planning the biggest day of our lives she had everything under CONTROL :) !! She and her team at the resort went above and beyond to make it all go smoothly . I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone getting married . Also every single guest and family member RAVED about how amazing the venue looked and how kind all the staff and servers were . Thank you Lake Arrowhead and Spa !!

The newly renovated resort is absolutely stunning- I was married around Christmas so there was decor up and violinists happened to be playing during our cocktail hour- which was beautiful! The resort had a mountain- lodge atmosphere with rustic flare. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted in the end but it was a bit frustrating trying to re- communicate issues over and over again (both leading up to the event and in person the day before)-- and then come in and see mistakes that were already written out prior on paper. The resort takes in a good amount of weddings so I would like to say the lack of communication was that-- Though the staff setting up the room was accommodating- they were rude when given direction- giving each other looks when I would ask for things to be corrected or would try to argue on the layout- The coordinator Gina though always was very pleasant when asked to execute a task/ would communicate the orders to her staff to which they then would oblige. In the end, everything will be beautiful and your guests will be in awe-- leading up to it though you might get a few migraines but so weddings go! As far as rating I would give it a 4- Costumer service is key!

I was planning on having an outdoor wedding and was so disappointed when it snowed and I had to have it indoors instead!! The wedding was beautiful and the snow made for some awesome pictures! Our coordinator was so awseome! She was calm, patient and very professional!! She made everything go seamlessly. The resort was very accomidating and made the transiton to indoors with ease and perfection! The food was so yummy! We had steak and salmon as entree choices and both were spectacular! Best I've ever tasted!

Beautiful weather in October. A Little frustrated with bringing my own decorations and table center pieces and cooperation of catering staff. They worked with us on price, etc though.

Becky McNey is one of the Event Coordinators at the Resort and she worked with me for my wedding reception. I cannot say enough good things about Becky. Easy to get a hold of, answered all my questions (even ones that were technically outside her responsibility and duplicate inquiries from my mother!), extremely organized and well managed, and friendly. I never questioned Becky's ability to pull everything together. Even when the event was 2 days away and I was a mental tornado, tossing all my decorations at her &amp; giving her a ragged explanation of what they were for, she took all my hard work and time and effort and set it up to be a beautiful, well-manicured wedding reception. I have such deep respect for her and I could never thank her enough for making my day such an touching experience.

I was born and raised in Lake Arrowhead. I always enjoyed going to the resort for various functions. When my husband and I were planning the wedding we went to the resort first. They were wonderful from the beginning. They did everything in their power to fit our budget. Our planner (Becky) was organized and efficiant. She was avaliable any time and helped us find other vendors for our wedding. On the wedding day there was not one problem. Everything was set up perfectly. As the bride, I did not have to worry about one thing because of the resort. They provide so much for the price and the food was amazing. We have had many guests from the wedding call us and thank us for a beautiful wedding and wonderful food. We were more than happy to pay the price of the resort.

Place was perfect for ceremony. Dance floor is a bit small and it gets hot in the ballroom when full. Other than that, I had so much fun!

Our wedding was held at LAR in Nov 2008. While the coordinator was new at the time, she did a great job. We had a few small snags in the beginning, but by the time our wedding rolled around everything went smooth. They resort staff were incredibly gracious and helpful throughout the entire weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with live music and cocktails in the lobby when we returned from our rehearsal dinner. There were a million tiny details involved in our ceremony and reception, and the staff did an incredible job remembering everything I had asked for. The food was perfect . . . we had customized our menu, but had the "Southern Exposure" buffet with lots of extras added. We still get compliments on our food! The vendors the resort referred us to all were perfect as well. The cake was included in the price of the venue, which was a big bonus. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable as well. Our room was decorated with roses and candles on our wedding night, which was a surprise to me. All in all I would highly recommend this resort . . . they did an amazing job helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. It was pricey, but that was mainly due to the choices we made . . . we could have had our wedding for half the price there but it would have meant compromising on certain things like food and bar.

She was easy to work with. Her whole crew seemed like family. Working with them was a pleasure. She helped me come up with alot of good ideas.;Everything ran smoothly, I really can't think of anything bad.

event planning was easy, rooms/lodging for guests was easy and reasonable, food was fantastic, service was impeccable, location was perfect! Everyone loved the getaway, but location was close enough to home for day travel. Everyone said they'd come back and stay.;Hair salon could not accommodate the bride.
