Lakeview Golf Resort

tarted to cut the top of our cake when we wanted it reserved. One of our guests had to find the box and put it in the fridge at the front desk. I was told all of our decorations would be packed up in totes that we had brought them in and to pick them up the following week. Nothing was packed up. The night of the wedding my husband and I were supposed to have a suite to stay in but it wasn’t cleaned so they ended up taking us in a golf cart to a condo (which was nice but how do you not have a clean room for the couple)??? The next day we noticed that there were still things from the ceremony outside. We asked the front desk who was supposed to clean it up and she was clueless and told us we could take a golfcart down and get it ourselves. Luckily, it didn’t rain that night or literally ALL of our ceremony decorations (including a cord of three strands we tied) would have been ruined. Everything was still setup as it had been the day before down there. And to top it all off, several of our centerpieces and decor from the reception is missing. Two of which were from our head table and sweetheart table which we would have kept. I’m assuming they were stolen. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

loved the fact that they did the wedding set up and supplied basic linens, centerpieces, tables and all the things that can really increase the wedding costs . The food was great and the staff was amazing! We also got to take advantage of the golf course, the lake, pool and restaurants nearby during our little mini wedding vacation. Great location!! Lakeview was perfect and made our wedding process stressful! I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

at Lakeview could not have been more accommodating either. I was a little nervous to have my wedding at Lakeview because, I thought it was a little run down but, everything was beautiful and the rooms were better than I expected. Yes, this resort could use some TLC but it was clean and the staff was very accommodating.

uld be so plain and bland because my husband and I chose to not go over board with decoration expenditures, but when I walked in to my hall the day of the wedding i was speechless. It was beautiful and even more than I could had imagined. They went above and beyond everything I could have asked for. I only truly had one stressor for my whole wedding.... and Rachel took that away from me. Wouldn’t even dare let me think about dealing with it. I have to admit I’m a little bit of a control freak and was nervous about not setting up my own hall.. but in the end I was so glad bc it was perfect and more than I could dream of. Rachel was amazing! I know most brides and grooms never want to throw another wedding after they have theirs but my experience with Rachel and lakeview I would do it again in a heartbeat (with my husband of course lol).

ire thing. Ceremony was supposed to be outside at the gazebo, due to weather we had to move it inside. She catered to us the entire day! From the rehearsal, to getting ready (and bringing us duct tape), making sure the ceremony and reception went perfectly, to making sure our room was ready and gathering everything the following morning. Not only was Rachel helpful, but the entire staff all day made sure we were taken care of. Jeremy and I can’t thank you enough!

I tend to let myself stress out about the small things, so on the day of our wedding, I decided to sit back and leave it in Rachel’s hands and I’m so glad she was there. She and her staff took care of absolutely everything so that my only worry was how good my new Hubby was going to look in his tux. During the cocktail hour and reception, all of the staff members made sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. They kept everything stocked up and running smoothly and I got to party the night away without a worry. Even though our day was overcast and chilly, it was the most perfect day ever and I have Lakeview to thank for that. Also, Ben McMillian did an AMAZING job with our photography and Paul McGrady made the dance floor rock all night long. The day went on without a hitch and I have perfect memories to last me a lifetime

I know they all do weddings all the time, so it's extra impressive to me that they all seemed so excited for us. It didn't feel fake or forced. But more than anything, Rachel, Lauren,and the Lakeview staff provided a professional personal touch to the entire process and attended to every detail....from the early planning until the party ended. Thank you Lakeview and Rachel for making the weekend so memorable.

ow my wedding would look and Rachel and the Lakeview team went beyond that to make sure everything was perfect! Lakeview went above and beyond to make sure our special day was everything perfect! We also had our rehearsal dinner at Lakeview and the food for dinner as well as our wedding day was delicious! So many guest have complimented our wedding! Lakeview truly gave us our dream wedding.

keview as our venue was the fact that we were assigned a wedding coordinator who was there to help us plan, answer all of our questions, and would be there the day of the wedding. We learned about a month before our wedding that our previous wedding coordinator had left, and that’s when Lauren reached out to let us know she’d be taking care of us and making sure our day would be perfect. Lauren set up a meeting with us right away to get caught up on everything we had discussed with the previous wedding coordinator and to help us finalize our plans. She made sure to cover every last detail and was able to answer all of our questions, putting all of my nerves at ease. She assured me she would be on site the entire day to handle set-up, decorating, give direction to my vendors, guide us around the property to take photos, help my bridal party down the aisle, and make sure we stayed on schedule. During the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Lauren was amazing and made us feel so comfortable that everything was taken care of and going according to plan. If a problem came up, she handled it calmly and resolved it immediately. She had no problem driving us around on a golf cart to take photos outside in the middle of December, or stand in the wind to hold my veil out for the perfect picture. As I was about to walk out to meet my husband for our first look, my heavy earring kept falling off due to a loose earring-back. Without a second thought she took the back off of her own earring and gave it to me. I greatly appreciated her and everything she did for us. The food was good and just as we expected, the staff made sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted it, and all of their vendor recommendations turned out to be great. We loved the suite that they provided for us to get ready in, and we loved that they had champagne and chocolates waiting for us in our room after our wedding. Our guests also really loved that the ceremony, reception, after party, and hotel were all in one place. The only complaint I had was that we knew Legends (the bar and restaurant on site) kitchen would close before our wedding was over, so our previous wedding coordinator spoke with the manager ahead of time and told us that they had agreed to keep the kitchen open for the large amount of people we planned to bring. Unfortunately, that did not happen and we were not able to order any late night food, which was minor compared to how wonderful the rest of our day was. Our wedding day was truly fantastic and I would definitely recommend Lakeview!

My sisters who had extremely fancy weddings in big cities were even impressed with how smoothly Lakeview handled everything!

the entire staff at Lakeview is so friendly, accomadating, and interactive with the guests to assure everyone is having a wonderful time! I will say, I was a very particular bride. I had a vision of how I wanted every detail to be, and with my aunts artistic touch-we made all of our decor ourselves. At times, I worried if the staff would be able to set up everything as I envisioned it in my head, but to my surprise-IT WAS FLAWLESS! I walked into a breathtaking reception which was everything I imagined and MORE! It's safe to say, even when times get crazy throughout your planning, you can count on the staff at Lakeview to give you too-notch service! I'm so happy I was a Lakeview Bride.

that helped her were extremely helpful as well. Even during confusion at our reception when some of the other vendors had a mix up, Lauren and her team made sure everything went smoothly. My only advice would be to use vendors from their "preferred vendors" list so that confusion does not happen at all. I Learned that those vendors were on the preferred list for a reason! All in all, the planning process was as stress free as it could be, staff at Lakeview were very approachable and answered all questions, wedding packages were flexible, and prices were communicated clearly- there were no "surprise!" charges. I would definitely recommend.

the ah-mazing views. On top of excellent deals, they have a staff that is able to work with you every step of the way. Originally we started with Jillian Swartz, who was very positive and open and easy to communicate with. Jillian had to step down, though, about a month till our wedding to pursue her own dreams so we then met with Jolene. Jolene was a lifesaver. She was open, easy to communicate with, and did everything in her power to make sure we were on the same page and that everything went according to plan. She helped store things, provided a room for us to get ready in, and even gave out her personal cell phone number in case I needed to get into contact with her immediately. Jolene and Lakeview helped bring my wedding to life and made it better than I could ever imagine.

As a bride, I was constantly worried that we weren't going to get things done, or that I was forgetting something (especially on the day of our wedding) - but with the girls at Lakeview, we had the BEST, most organized day we could've hoped for. I literally didn't have to worry about anything. Jillian does not disappoint when it comes to making sure her brides are well taken care of. I cannot put into words how thankful we are that she handled our wedding, everything was absolutely perfect :) Our guests loved the outdoor venue on the 10th tee of the golf course - there was plenty of shade & everyone was comfortable! Everyone loved the food at our wedding as well! The staff at Lakeview was SO accomodating to all of our needs. Our wedding was an absolute dream for us. If you are looking for an all inclusive venue, Lakeview is the place to go!

excellent location for some pre-wedding photo-ops. Although there were two other weddings happening at the same time, you would never know it. There was always a staff member available to answer any questions or address any issues. Our guests had the best time and several ranked our wedding in their top 3 (which included their own, of course)! Lauren made sure every detail was perfect, even texting me pictures while I was getting my hair and makeup done. I can't say enough good things about her and the entire planning process with Lakeview!
