Lambert's Cove Inn

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lambert's Cove Inn for our wedding on 10/10/20! Unfortunately due to COVID, our original wedding was cancelled and I was scrambling for another plan. I am so thankful that I happened upon their website - I took a leap of faith and booked everything without ever having seen the Inn because of how amazing the entire staff was! I am SO glad I did. Even though their beautiful spaces normally accommodate much larger events, they were extremely dedicated to working with us during this unprecedented time and making sure we were nothing but happy with what had to be so different from our original plan. When I went to the Vineyard for my hair/makeup trial, Keya and Sheldon setup time to meet with me and show me around the Inn. It was better than I had been imagining, I fell in love immediately! Fast forward to the main event, Sheldon was on-site the entire weekend and was extremely responsive to everything I asked or needed. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him "in my corner"! As far as the actual ceremony, dinner, and the fire with s'mores afterwards - I honestly could not have asked for anything to have been better! Because of how small our group was, we were able to order from the menu when it came to dinner, everyone was extremely impressed and satisfied with all the food. There were two young kids and one picky adult in attendance, Sheldon and the Chef allowed us to have food brought in from elsewhere and stored in their kitchen for those guys - they even served it with all the rest of the food! I wish I could remember her name now, but the woman who was attending to us during dinner and dessert was so sweet and helpful! When we went out for the fire and s'mores (shout out to Alex and Lucy - even though they were off the clock, they took great care of all of us!), they stored the rest of the cake for us and made sure our champagne flutes and cake cutlery was cleaned and safely set aside for us. After the fire, I had gone back into the dining room to collect our things, and she kindly insisted upon helping me get those and some of the flowers back to our room - although seemingly a small gesture, it just goes to show how amazing everyone there is! Dan and I will be forever grateful to everyone at LCI for making our COVID wedding truly incredible, but a HUGE special thank you goes out to Sheldon!

Keya, Sheldon, Alex and the rest of the staff at the Inn were hands down the best people ever. They made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking. I recommend booking your wedding with them for sure, I don’t have a single regret. Wish we could do it again!

This review is so long overdue but well deserved! My husband and I got married at Lambert’s Cove Inn last August and our guests are STILL talking about how amazing our wedding was. We fell in love with Lambert’s Cove Inn, it was the first venue we saw and from the moment we walked in the door, we knew it was the one for us. Laid-back elegance with a touch of rustic romance, all steps from the beach. Then, throw in the amazing staff at Lambert’s Cove Inn. Leah the events manager spent countless hours going through each and every detail with us to ensure everything went off without a hitch. She was a god-send and she put her heart and soul into our wedding. She was quick to respond to our requests and her suggestions elevated our wedding to the next level. Leah was surrounding by a fantastic team: the waitresses, waiters, bartenders and bar captain were professional, patient and fun! A special shout out goes to the grounds and maintenance crew. Not only did the Inn look like a fairy tale, but when our dog got sprayed by a skunk the night before the wedding, in true Martha’s Vineyard fashion, the crew sprung into action and got him looking (and smelling) like perfection. The food. We CANNOT say enough about Chef Joe and his staff. The food was absolutely amazing and by far the most delicious food I’ve ever tasted at a wedding. Everything was hot and fresh and I’m still dreaming about the surf and turf meal I had. Chef Joe worked with us to customize a menu within our budget and he gained 180 fans on 8/18/18 - people were raving about the food. Would we recommend Lambert’s Cove Inn for a wedding? 100% yes. We loved everything about our experience. We loved that our closest friends and family were able to stay on the Inn with us - it made it a memorable experience, not just another wedding. There was something special about our day, because the venue and the people at the venue were special. There was magic in the air and we are so proud to say we were married at Lambert’s Cove Inn. We were married at Lambert's Cove Inn in July 2018. We were initially worried because we knew that we were going to be the first wedding after new ownership had taken over however everything turned out perfectly and we couldn't have been more pleased! Leah, our wedding coordinator was a delight to work with. She was accessible and on top of every detail. When it began to thunder storm during our ceremony, the staff sprang into action with umbrellas and came up with an impromptu rain plan that worked seamlessly. Our guests have all been raving about the food and the grounds looked absolutely gorgeous. It is such a magical place and will always be special to us. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
