Lamers Bus Lines

If you are considering hiring their Milwaukee Branch for wedding transport, PLEASE book anywhere else. We had to move our entire wedding back on the day of, because they were so late in picking up our guests. We booked them to do two rounds of transport to the ceremony/reception site and return at the end of the night. At 2 PM when the first bus was supposed to arrive with all of our friends and close family (purposely planned this way so we could get pictures before), my husband got a call from the bus driver that she hadn't even gotten to the first of two hotels yet. The driver asked my husband to text her the details that were so clearly outlined in the contract. Apparently, the driver had gone to the wrong hotel, saw a wedding party taking pictures which she assumed was us, and then sat there for 40 minutes before realizing it was not us since we had hired them to pick up guests, and the wedding party was already at the venue. And then, while he should have been relaxing before the ceremony, my husband had to help call all of our confused friends and family to explain. Our guests who did drive and arrive for the original ceremony time had to sit in the 81-degree heat for 45 minutes waiting for the bus with a majority of our guests to arrive before we could start the ceremony. Others ended up driving or ubering. Our wedding started 40-45 minutes late and then all subsequent events timelines were delayed because of this. The manager of the Milwaukee branch has also not been pleasant to work with. I've had friends book with Lamers recently who have shared equal displeasure, so I know this is not a one-off. She insists they did nothing wrong (even though they literally went to the wrong hotel) and has offered no apology for the mixup or partial refund for not following the contract as outlined. Please do not book with the Milwaukee branch so you don't have to deal with this sort of stress on your big day.

Booked a Trolley bus. Driver was flexible with the timing. Trolley was beautiful. Everything went off as planned.

Lamers did a great job with our wedding and week-of-wedding transportation. We used a trolley for the wedding party which was very fun, and 3 coach busses for our wedding guests. The drivers were all very nice and followed the schedule exactly how we wished. The team at Lamers was very responsive to emails and making changes and adjustments to our reservations as we needed it. They were very reasonably priced compared to competitors and the busses were clean and nice.

We used Lamers and their school bus for our April wedding in Fort Atkinson, WI. They were great to work with in the planning process and everything went off perfectly on the day of our wedding! Our driver was on time and very easy going. We also found their prices very reasonable. We'd highly recommend working with Lamers for your wedding transportation needs.

We used Lamers in Milwaukee to transport guests to and from our wedding hotel to the ceremony/reception venue. Debbie was easy to work with via phone and email, and we found them more affordable than competitors in the area. We were able to shuttle one of the buses on the way back to make sure we had enough transportation for everyone. We recommend!

We worked with Lamers to shuttle our guests back and forth from our hotel and venue. They did a great job, and guests raved about how nice it was to have the transportation. We used the 24-passenger mini-coach, which was perfect for our 100ish guest count.

We hired a Lamers school bus to take our wedding guests to/from our wedding venue. Their pricing is reasonable and everything appeared to run on time. I also found communication to be good - they were very responsive to emails. Overall, a great experience!

Lamers was great for our wedding! Benjamin Cahall was very helpful, replied promptly to emails and phone calls, and made sure we received exactly what we needed for our shuttle service. The driver was really friendly, timely and professional. We were extremely pleased with them and would recommend them for any shuttle needs!

While it was originally a little tricky getting this booked, I was so glad we were able to utilize their services. With a mini-coach/passenger bus, the day was wonderful! Our driver, whose name I think was Ina, was EXCEPTIONAL!!! She was early throughout the day, which was great since we didn't want anyone sweating through their attire, and such a wonderful personality. Definitely would recommend using Lamer's!

We had a great experience using Lamer's Bus Lines for our wedding!! They were super flexible and willing to work with us and what we wanted for our wedding. We rented two school buses to shuttle our guest to and from our venue and hotels. They were great and the drives we had were fantastic. One even stayed late so we could party a little longer on the dance floor! Thank you so much Lamers. If we or any of our friends ever need transportation services again will make sure to call you!

Brian, our limo bus, was on point! He was on time , if not a minute or two early , for every pick up or drop off! The bus was very comfortable, clean, and cool inside. We partied in style from our ceremony to reception!

$100 school bus was the way to go, especailly when it's two teachers that got married.

Lamers Bus was great. I contacted them online, their pricing was very reasonable, most of the correspondence was done through email, and after payment, they confirmed with me again prior to the wedding. However, I did not get to meet the shuttle driver as I was at the venue really early and had a ride back to the hotel. But, my contact said he was there on time and did a very good job. The best part came AFTER the wedding when all of my guests told me how great he was. People let me know that he was funny and interactive, accommodating, and very polite. I would use Lamers Bus again.

I reserved a large yellow school bus to transport guests to and from the hotel and wedding reception. They offered the best price by far from the other companies in the Milwaukee area. The bus driver was on time and courteous. The only part I didn't like was that I was not assigned a driver (I wanted that person's number in case of emergencies) until the day before my wedding. That made me nervous, but it all turned out ok. Would recommend for anyone looking for more reasonably prices (not glamorous) transportation.

After researching a number of local transportation companies, we decided to go with Lamers for our Wedding Transportation. We wanted a company that was reliable, not too expensive, and provided a coach bus of some sort. Though Lamers is a bit more costly than a couple of the other companies we looked at, we definitely got what we paid for and more. They provided a coach mini-bus, which comfortably fit the 20 people we had on the bus. Our driver (Dennis) was SO nice and knew exactly where he was going, even though our first location was off the beaten path a bit. Our driver showed up early to our ceremony location (even though WE were running late!) and got us to our reception with time to spare. Overall, very very happy we went with Lamers!!

This company provided very reasonable prices, and so we were thrilled to rent their buses for our wedding. However the service they provided during the organization and planning was horrendous. We almost never received responses to our emails or phone calls, but had to instead repeatedly call back and try and get in touch with the representative, Robert Welke. Then we paid ahead of time for three buses, but ended up canceling one ~1 month before the wedding. We were told that we would receive a reimbursement, but to this day have still not received the reimbursement despite multiple phone calls and emails. I have been appalled by their service and would recommend avoiding this company. It was not worth the amount of work and stress they created.

We rented two yellow school buses from Lamer's - two for before the ceremony and then one coming back from the reception. Given the size of our wedding and the budget, this was the perfect solution!

Our transportation experience with Lamers was the worst part of our wedding day. The bus driver was not accommodating and did not even follow our contract. When you pay a significant amount of money for a transportation service months in advance you expect to get the value you paid for. I would not recommend for any transportation need.

We got the trolley through Lamers and I was so happy with it! Everything went smoothly and I ended up getting everything I requested. My only complaint was that we couldn't be guaranteed to get our requests (we wanted the wooden seats as opposed to the coach seats), and we didn't find out until 1-2 weeks in advance even though payment in full is due upon booking. The staff was very responsive and helpful otherwise and the driver was great.

This service was HORRIBLE! We hired them for our door county wedding trolley and what a mistake!! The driver was rude, late, and requested to leave during our reception due to improper planning for dinner (and despite us paying for his time while gone). In addition, he decided to walk right into our reception and interrupt me (the bride) while talking to guests to tell me he needed to leave...all of this despite having provided a day of contact and phone number for all questions/concerns. I was very disappointed in both the day of service and the main office communication. When trying to determine adjustments to scheduling closer to the event date, they started charging us more than the original quote for the original services...claiming they did not accurately bill the original service. We fully expected to pay more for additional requests and time, but when they started charging us more for what we had already paid for it became ridiculous! Don't hire them...it's not worth it.

We had a wedding party of almost 20 people (ushers/flower girls/attendants included). We needed a party bus or limo that could accommodate all of our party comfortably and Lamer's provided just that. We hit a detour on the way to our reception site and the bus driver got us to our destination without a hitch.

This was the BEST bus I've ever been on. We saw them at a wedding show and they showed us their new party bus. It sat 23 people so comfortably. We had a wedding party of 7 couples plus most of their significant others/husbands/wives on the bus and it was SO MUCH FUN! They were even able to pack the cooler with ice and our drinks and had it available right away. Our driver was so great and made sure to help me off the bus with my big wedding gown on. This is definitely the way to go! So much easier than trying to get in and out of a limo when you're wearing such a big dress!!

WORST SERVICE!!!! LEFT US STRANDED!!!! I would not recommend Lamers to anyone, and I regret hiring them for my wedding. From the very beginning, it was difficult getting information from them. I was told I would receive information in the mail 2 weeks before my wedding that would plan pick-up times for the shuttle to 3 different hotels. They never sent the information. I called a week before my wedding and the person said "Here is a note to send that information, looks like we never sent it". They did pick up the guests at the 3 different hotels, and bring them to the wedding as planned. The problem came in at the end of the night. after the wedding party had been celebrating all evening, the shuttle left 45 minutes early, without the bride, groom, and entire wedding party. The driver never came back to pick us up, even though my contract was stated it would shuttle guests until midnight. There was no number to call to ask him to come get us. The wedding party, bride and groom had to get rides from other people to our hotel. WORST SERVICE EVER! I complained the next day about how dissatisfied I was with the company, and they would only offer me a 25% refund, which in my opinion is complete BS. DONT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL LEAVE YOU stranded. Unless you want to be begging for rides at the end of the night, go with another transportation provider!

Our driver, Scott, was amazing. He was understanding, on time, and very easy to work with. He even gave me chocolate and my husband wine as gifts to celebrate our marriage! He was too sweet! He helped us pack our dresses into the back of the limo, since he carried the entire party to the ceremony venue where we dressed. I had given our driver a schedule a head of time, so he knew exactly where to go and was prepared. He even reminded us that if we needed to deviate from the schedule or make another stop that it was completely up to us and that multiple stops were included in our contract. He was very professional and did a great job!

Had a pleasant experience with this company. Used them for our wedding. Wish we could have split the time frame since we only used them for 2 hours. Other companies offered the split time to take us to the church and then come back after ceremony, but they didn't have a big enough vehicle.

We had so much fun in between our ceremony and reception. The trolley driver was willing to drive us all over town to take our pictures and didn't mind us playing our music all along the way. He was on time, flexible and provided our large bridal party (30 people) a safe way to get around town.

We got a limo bus, it was spacious and nice. The driver was very easy to work and took directions well.

We had a trolley for transportation for our wedding and it was amazing! With the reasonable price, we ended up booking it all day so the whole bridal had a safe and easy ride to the ceremony from both the salon and hotel. Our driver was great and took us everywhere we asked, even though we strayed from the itinerary. We loved the old charm of the trolley and it made for some great pictures!

We had the trolley for our wedding. It had a lot of room with a very polite driver. I thought it was quite pricey for the short time we had it, but it went with our theme. I would go with Lamers again but check on pricing for other places.

We had a large wedding party and ultimately decided to save money by going with a school bus for our wedding. The bus was clean and comfortable and everyone had a blast! We were much more comfortable than if we had crammed 20 people into a limo bus. Our driver was great and accommodating and I would not hesitate to work with them again.

We had a 36 passenger bus to accommodate our wedding party as well as their guests. We were very comfortable and pleased with the bus itself. Our bus driver was wonderful and he went above our expectations.

The day of service was wonderful! I was very happy with it. However, the customer service leading up to the day of was not so good. One lady that I spoke with was disrespectful.

This was really easy, filled out the quote online. Explained what I wanted in the notes. Received an email from a sales lady and went from there! Only vendor I had to pay in full a month prior to the wedding, but that was okay. Had the limo bus for about 6.5 hours. The driver was REALLY nice and patient. Had him drive to 3 different locations, but he was fine with it! No problems. Would use again if needed.

Way better than the other area limo companies. Professional, helpful, super accommodating... I could go on and on. Our driver was fantastic. The limo bus was awesome and very clean.

We hired Lamers to provide shuttle buses to transport our guests between the church and the reception venue on the day of our wedding. They gave us three yellow school buses that showed up right on time. Great service, easy to work with, good price. There you have it.

This Company did not get back to me or return my calls for weeks. Finally once I got a contract I was hopeful I could count on them. They delievered and did a good job.

We had the trolley which was really fun for our wedding party. We also got some really cute photos, so it was totally worth the extra cost over a limo bus. The driver was super nice and went where we wanted and waited for us while we were finishing up at the church. Great service, wonderful memories!

The trolley was the best transportation and the driver was great!!! Definitely would recommend this instead of a limo as there was TONS of room and made for great pictures too!

My husband and I had a bridal party of 14 to accommodate and we wanted our bridal party to bring their dates along on the bus with us. This would have translated to a huge cost for a limo to accommodate everyone. Lamers had a really great price for the service we needed and our driver was lots of fun! This is definitely a great value and a great alternative to a traditional limo.

We had a trolley from Lamer's to transport the bridal party, and some additional guests on a second loop for my wedding in Green Bay. The bridesmaids were sliding around on the trolley on the way there as there were no side rails and their dresses slid on the benches! The driver swapped the trolley for the return trip, so we were a bit more secure, although it was warm in that trolley, especially under layers of a gown. Overall very satisfied with the service.

We got the 18 person passenger party bus for our wedding and it was one of the highlights for our wedding party. The driver was excellent and made sure all our coolers were stocked and we had everything we needed during each photo shoot location we stopped at. They were on time for all pick ups ang got us where we needed to go with no problems! Excellent service and price

I used them for my Bachelorette party and they were great! They actually stay out later then planned which was awesome.

For our wedding we rented a limo for us girls before the ceremony, a trolley for the wedding party and a small bus for guest transportation. All three drivers were awesome! They were funny and laid back. Lamers pricing is pretty comparable with other places. I was not impressed with the service I received with their account reps. My first rep no longer worked for the company after I booked and no one reached out to give me new contact information and one team member gave me different pricing than the first rep. Make sure to keep all pricing documentation. The day of experience was perfect with the drivers and that is what really matters.

We ended up needing two school buses for the wedding day - one for the wedding party, and one for out of town guests. Trying to hash out a plan with the representative we met with was terrible. She seemed very distracted and she wasn't very professional. Others in the office were the same way. The day of the wedding, things went very smoothly. I'd try another vendor for transportation services before Lamers.

We used a Lamers yellow bus for our bar hopping, and it was awesome. Our bus driver was the best, she knew where she was going and got us there in a time manner. She was super friendly and we enjoyed her.

We really loved our driver and the party bus. The bus was extremely clean and everything was fully stocked. Our driver was early to pick us up at the salon and even came in and chatted with us. He had a great sense of humor and was really helpful in giving everyone a hand with getting on and off the bus. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Lamer's.

We had a limo bus for an entire day for 14 people. Every person on that bus had fun. The bus came equipped with stereo that we were able to connect iPod to for festive music selections for the day. The driver was curteous, professional, and friendly. We were able to extend the service from the standard 4 hours to 8 hours for little extra cost - WELL worth it to make our day simple and fun for our entire wedding party!

We used the Trolley for our bridal party and were so happy with it. There was open space at the back of the trolley for the coolers and for the guys to spread out. It wasn't crammed like most busses are. Our driver was so nice, let us turn up the music loud even during songs I'm sure he didn't like. I have nothing but good things to say about Lamers and HIGHLY recommend them.
