special song requested by the bride and groom. Most importantly, they were completely professional and accommadating during a last minute change due to weather concerns. With some creative, albeit mildly chaotic chair switching, we were able to keep the musicians indoors while getting a quick ceremony in between raindrops/sleet.

hey played our wedding and reception. The price was very reasonable, especially for the quality, and they did a great job with the songs we selected. We picked a song for our first dance they did not have available (their library is extensive!), and the fee for preparing it was also very reasonable and they did a wonderful job. When my girlfriends and I were out dancing for a few songs, one of the violinists actually popped up and joined us!!! Such a fun memory. I would pick this company and the 3 musicians they sent over and over again. If you are on the fence about strings for your event, highly recommend you go for it. We never regretted not having a DJ and going with Landolfi for the wedding and reception.

My wife and I would like to thank the Landolfi Quartet for their excellent performance at our wedding on 10/20/18. First off, the quartet has an extremely deep and versatile setlist, which you can find online. They can play Classical / Broadway...

/ Rock / Pop, etc. Next, we had an outdoor rooftop wedding in sub optimal weather (wind/ 50s temperatures). In the ~30 minutes the band had to be outside, they performed extremely well, and didn't complain (to my knowledge). We had them play Im Yours/Mraz during the prelude, which kept the guests smiling and not too emotional. From there, they played Pacobel Canon D, the classic, for the bride's entrance. Their version was so elegant and pristine, that tears were brought to some of our guest's eyes. I cant tell you how much this set the tone for the Ceremony! For the recessional, they played Sweet Child of Mine, which was a lot of fun to walk back down the aisle to. From there, the group played during our cocktail hour, and kept the quality great! traveling and composing fees were reasonable. I wanted contemporary music played on strings for the ceremony, and they sounded even better than I could hope for! It definitely made the ceremony special. They also played during the cocktail hour which was a nice added touch. I only wish I could have heard more of their music- missing the prelude is the one drawback of entering last as the bride! I highly recommend. They are very professional and have a wide range of songs they can play.

y refused a musical request that came directly from my wife saying that it "just wouldn't work for them." They refused to stay through our recessional and told our pianist that they were "out of here at exactly 3:30," despite our wedding going past that time. They even had the gall to pack up and leave before the entire ceremony was over. Over our entire wedding weekend everything went excellently despite our services from Landolfi. In addition to their extremely rude behavior towards our other musicians and family friends, their musicality was simply awful. It was clear that they had not rehearsed their music and their tuning was absolutely horrendous. My wife and I are both far from professional musicians, but we both have backgrounds in music. It was clear to both of us, and all of our guests, that this quartet was truly sub par. I do not recommend Landolfi for any wedding. Get a DJ, use your church's organist, find a friend who is musically gifted, or pay your drunk uncle to play a violin as you walk down the aisle, because that's the exact level of reliability Landolfi provides.

equested by the bride and also per her request we arrived at 1:15 that day to rehearse with the church pianist (service scheduled at 3 PM). He informed us that the bride requested we start at a middle section for her processional music. After rehearsing the section, we decided that the request would not work in a musical way. The wedding planner, however insisted that we do what the bride requested so we did. Now the bride is unhappy. We understand that brides want everything to be absolutely perfect on their special day and always try our best to make that happen. We regret that in this situation we were sadly unable to reach a workable compromise for the bride's processional. At 3:40, after playing recessional and postlude, we left because we were contracted and paid only for 2 hours and by that time it was 30 minutes past that. As we were leaving many of the guests told us how much they appreciated our music and how beautiful it was. Obviously some people didn’t have the same view as the bride. We are fortunate to have played many weddings with joyous endings (check other reviews). Live music adds a special touch but there may be occasions when a “drunken uncle” or DJ might be a better choice.

vided added so much to our ceremony. They play all the traditional wedding songs along with many more contemporary songs. We worked with Deberah during the planning process and she answered all our questions and helped us make the final music selections for our ceremony. I wasn't really sold on any of the choices for my entrance song until Deberah suggested "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles, which was perfect! My husband is a huge fan of the Beatles, so this was a really wonderful touch for us. The strings sounded beautiful in our ceremony venue (Graham Chapel at Wash U) and I loved that they had such a large music selection to choose from. I would highly recommend Landolfi to anyone who wants to add an extra special touch to their ceremony!

ed. This didn't happen. The string quartet never approached myself or my husband, so I never even met anyone in person. They played one random song from the list I was asked to provide them while the wedding party walked down the aisle and since I was never able to talk to any members of the string quartet, they began playing music at wrong times during our ceremony, interrupting the officiant. They did stay after the ceremony and played music while everyone was leaving....I suppose to make up for not playing for the first half hour. I chose the songs on the list I was asked to provide for certain reasons and only heard 4 songs we chose...If I could do it again I would not pay the amount of money we did for a service that was not what was promised. Severely disappointed. Wish we wouldn't have had to send a check before the service.

Well I gotta say, they rocked it and came through on their promise to sound better than VSQ :) All of our guests loved the string covers of contemporary songs, it kept the event formal without being too stuffy. I thought it was a great value - they entertained our guests before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and during the cocktail hour. My guests and I agree, Landolfi was one of the highlights of the evening!

Debbie as honest when I asked if she thought a duet would be enough sound for my venue and amount of guests. She worked with my budget (but this company is by FAR the BEST price in the area!) and the value you got for the amount paid was amazing! DO NOT LOOK ELSEWHERE. At my wedding, they showed up on time and sounded fine until the solo. It was as if the two musicians who did play it had never heard the song before. I was very disappointed.

My only complaint was that their website wasn't working properly when I was trying to plan my song list, but I was able to use another website with no problems.
