The venue is stunningly gorgeous, the food is world-class, and the service is outstanding. Every single staff member at Larkspur went above and beyond for our special day. Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding being the best they've ever been to, and we have everyone at Larkspur to thank for that. Beyond the stunning beauty of the venue, guests raved to us about how incredible the food and service was. The entire reception flowed perfectly together, and no detail was overlooked. We were absolutely blown away by our experience at Larkspur during our wedding. I can't say enough good things about our experience, and I would highly recommend having a wedding there. I wish I could do mine all over again!

n. We knew what we were looking for was very specific, and are so glad we knew about Larkspur! There are very few sites in the entire world that checked all of these boxes, and after having been to Larkspur a few times for different events, we were confident they could make our day perfect! The staff was amazing to work with throughout the planning process, and were patient with all of our questions and "what-if-we-do-this" ideas. After a year of planning, getting married at Larkspur felt like being at home - the team made it all so easy! All of our guests raved about the food, which was hugely important for us, and there were dedicated servers who ensured we got two of each appetizer/a moment to chill before being introduced, got served first at dinner, and never had an empty glass at our head table! The restaurant is beautiful as-is, to the point that our florist talked us out of paying for more flowers - they simply weren't needed to decorate the venue space! There are no bare walls or ugly carpeting to distract guests from, it's simply elegant and requires very little to no additional decor, which was SO NICE to have one less thing to worry about during the planning. It would be impossible to go wrong choosing this venue for your big day - this team knows what they're doing, the outdoor views and indoor spaces are beautiful, and the food is world-class. We will be forever grateful we got married at Larkspur!

were looking for a partner who could make our 100 guests feel like they were gathering for a special family dinner, while also elevating the “party mode” experience. Moreover, since I would be planning everything on my own, I was looking for a thoughtful, helpful, and organized team. From our first meeting, we knew we would be in the best of hands with Larkspur! Isabel and the Larkspur family made the planning process easy and fun. At our tasting, we were able to sit down with Chef Bill to share our ideas for a custom designed cake to match our invitations, and our wish was his command (and it turned out picture perfect)! And the food…oh my gosh THE FOOD! We chose the Creekstone Farms Strip Loin and the Ahi Persillade for our seated dinner entrees, and absolutely loved every bite! Our friends and family are still raving (over a month later) about our wedding being “one of the best meals they’ve ever had!” Perhaps the best part about Larkspur is the way the evening flowed together. From the beautiful ceremony lawn with sweeping views of the Gore Range, to the cocktail bar and patio, and finishing the evening in the versatile and open great room with the dance floor, it was as if we had four events in one. All in all, our wedding day was perfect, and it could not have been possible without the love and hospitality provided by our friends at Larkspur!!

ne of them was not only impressed with the professionalism and care of the staff, but also extremely pleased with the food. I am still receiving compliments about how amazing the dinner was and not to mention the late night snack (we picked the beef tacos and they were to die for). The bar was another highlight - Chris was super accommodating and took great care of our guests. The desserts were well prepared and mouthwatering. The peanut butter crunch bar was a favorite. Working with Rafal and the Larkspur team was easy and effortless and they really made planning easy. I have been in the events business for almost 10 years and was impressed with their execution. I definitely recommend Larkspur for a wedding in Vail, especially if you love well prepared, incredible food.

t. I planned the entire wedding weekend from a distance with a 12 hr trip to only taste apps and cake! The venue is absolutely stunning. Inside and outside! A cold front came in for the wedding day and we needed to have a game time decision - do we have the ceremony indoors? The staff is not only accommodating and flexible but genuinely want your day to be as perfect as it can be. I trusted in the Larkspur and they delivered. I needed their call in the last hour. It was the right call because it was frigid outside by the time we took photos. My guests enjoyed themselves with their hearts and stomachs. That is what made this bride so happy!! Scott and I wanted a loving and a personal ceremony unique to our relationship. We wanted great food and an unbelievable party. We got all of those! Incredible food and cake. Thanks chef Bill! Best Colorado lamb chops I've ever had - all the guests who chose them raved about the dish and the preparation of the tasty potato that accompanied it! I heard the salmon was delicious -I can attest it looked beautiful. They had a great selection of wines but let us order in one of our favorite champagnes. Yum to the speciality cocktails and excellent tasting wedding cakes! You made mom and father in law very happy! They like cake... a lot. Thank you Isabel, Chris, Tony, Meridith and Tom ....and all the staff I didn't personally talk to as you hustled around with excellent service. Gordon Ramsey would be proud of the execution! Everyone LOVED the food, and set us a part from other weddings they attended! From start to finish we had the best time planning our wedding with the Larkspur team. And they truly delivered on our vision. Did I mention we had a "fried bar" for our late night snacks?! Two types of french fires, fried pickles, onion rings and an assortment of v/gf dipping sauces!! :) Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to Larkspur. Highly recommend!

This is also the perfect venue as the indoor "back-up" plan is an equally perfect venue if you are dreaming to have an outdoor wedding. I would do it all over again, if I could!

Our friends and family are still raving about the amazing food, drinks, desserts, and killer background view during our ceremony on the West Lawn. Our wedding in Vail was a destination wedding, and Larkspur was the best choice for that hands down. They handled food, beverages, ceremony chairs, and several other details. It was very "all-inclusive" so to say, which made destination planning such a breeze (and fun!). Highly highly recommend hosting your wedding (or any event really) here! Could not be happier with how things turned out.

happy we took a leap of faith to transform the "lodge" for the dancing. It was truly the perfect reception. Our wedding was December 3rd, near 215 guests, 23 person bridal party, and a 14 person band (all which fit comfortably). They were honest about budgeting and worked with us the night of the event to ensure that we were comfortable with the bar spending limits. The only issue we ran into was the ski shop would not close early so rentals / band could set up. We added an additional cocktail party at Frost to give them a little time, and it worked out perfectly! I only wish we could relive this night one thousand times again!

They went above and beyond to make sure our event was top notch. The food was fantastic and the service was superb. urprised when all of our décor had been perfectly handled by the Larkspur staff - when our helper arrived to help with set up, she learned she had virtually nothing to do. The food was absolutely spectacular. From the gorgeous presentation and taste of the table pickles to the amazingly delicious entrees (lamb and the Petaluma chicken) to the gorgeous chocolate wedding cake, we could not have been happier. The food was inventive, beautiful and expertly prepared. Everyone complemented the amazing views from our dinner on the lawn. It was truly an unforgettable location and experience for us and for our guests. When the sun went down, the donuts and coffee in the bar area were a highlight for everyone (especially our kids!!) and the cozy atmosphere you created in the bar area to wind things down was awesome. Every person we spoke to on your staff from our initial conversations and visit to the end of the night was friendly and attentive. You truly have an awesome team in place. Everything was absolutely impeccable and we are truly appreciative and thankful for everything you did to make our day perfect. You exceeded expectations in every way. We spend a lot of time in Vail and we considered just about every venue between Vail, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek and Keystone. I am confident that we absolutely made the right choice. Thank you for so perfectly executing our vision of a casually elegant, but very special dinner with our closest family and friends. We will never forget our amazing day, and we thank you for making it so special. We look forward to visiting you again during the winter season!

une 18th, 2016 at the Larkspur. We had our ceremony outside on the Larkspur lawn. The mountains in the backdrop speak for themselves. Once the ceremony was over the waiters were holding wine and water lining the path back to the Larkspur bar for the cocktail reception. We ended up renting a tent for our reception on the Larkspur lawn. What an amazing view to have the clear tent at the bottom of the mountains. We ended up choosing the buffet and what an amazing choice. Not only did our guest get to experience different food as opposed to choosing only 1 meal, but the layout of the food in a tapas style was beautiful. Throughout the night I had people approach me and say it was the best food they had every had at a wedding. As well, days after people are still talking about the food and how truly amazing the day was. Larkspur is a great venue for a wedding space in Vail. They have unmatched service and are willing to work with any special needs you may have. If you want a truly Vail wedding experience with unmatched mountain views and a space to call your own on your special day, the Larkspur is the place! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

From the service to the absolutely incredible food, Isabel, Cole and the rest of their staff made sure that our day was as perfect as we had imagined. The setting at the base of the mountain is truly magical. We'll forever be thankful for their service and can't wait to eat there again when we visit Vail to go skiing!

Brittany made planning the ceremony and reception completely painless, and ensured the day of the wedding was worry-free. The food was absolutely amazing and the wine selection was impressive. We toured virtually every other ceremony and reception site in Vail, and the Larkspur has far more to offer than any of the other venues (and at a more reasonable price). The staff was so polite and attentive; they were a big part of what made the entire event so amazing. We were very lucky to have been able to hold our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing all outside. The weather held out the entire day and it turned out to be a beautiful day/evening. The Larkspur’s expansive patio offers a unique outdoor space with a beautiful mountain backdrop which we took full advantage of. We continue to receive complements on the food, service, and venue from our guests. I cannot thank the Larkspur enough for making my special day absolutely perfect! For anyone considering getting married in Vail, I would HIGHLY recommend the Larkspur for both the ceremony and the reception. You will not be disappointed!

he Great Room flowed naturally and had a wonderful glow to the rooms. The food and cake were absolutely delicious. Everything was so well organized and our guests were well taken care of. I highly recommend any bride to use the vendor. To give an example of how our guests were well taken care of, we had several key people with food allergies (dairy-free and gluten-free). I indicated which guests they were and Larkspur made meals suited to them. They didn't have to double check with the server or chef because Larkspur was way ahead of them. I was so pleased our guests were able to eat delicious meals without question if it would make them sick.

g care of all the vendors, getting everyone where they needed to be, when they needed to be; organizing the bridal party for the ceremony; setting up last minute things; etc. She helped ease my mind and made it a stress-free day for me!! She communicated with me during the entire planning period, helping me stay organized and getting everything done on time. She was kind, pleasant, and wonderful to work with the whole time! The wine and food were out of this world, as well as the wait staff. Everything was done professionally, all the staff had great personalities, it really was better than I could have asked for or imagined! We will definitely be visiting Larkspur every time we're in Vail and plan on spending our one year anniversary there. I cannot say enough great things about this venue, if they have availability for your wedding then don't even think twice about booking it!!!!
