This is a long review but we encourage you to read it.
Overall, our “Lasting Impression” is that the company was unprofessional and did not deliver what we paid for. JP, the President, was incredibly rude and awful to work with.
We rented a large tent (40’x120’), dance floor, chairs, tables, glassware, etc for our 200 person backyard wedding. They created a digital layout for us, showing exactly where the tent poles would land and where our dance floor and tables would be. They also visited the event site twice to make sure the tent would fit there. JP visited the site himself and told us it would work.
When the crew came to install the dance floor, we were told they couldn’t install it as previously diagrammed by Lasting Impressions and as agreed to/contracted/and paid for by us. The floor installer commented on how crooked the tent installation was and couldn't seem to figure out how to install the dance floor with the tent poles in place.
My father had to spend several hours working with the floor installer, loaned him a tape measure (since he barely had any tools) and helped him figure out how to get most of the flooring installed. In the diagram, the tent poles were shown to go on top of the dance floor. However, when they showed up to install it, they told us that the pole would have to go on grass instead. So, we had a dance floor with a hole in the center, another trip hazard for our guests and not what we had agreed to or wanted. In addition, due to the pole placement, we had to forgo an entire row of our dance floor, which we had already paid for.
As for pick up after the wedding, there was no communication. We emailed and called JP to see when everything was going to be picked up, but never got a response. Instead the truck showed up in our driveway in the afternoon. Thankfully we were home to receive them.
Afterwards, we reached out to JP to ask for a refund for the dance floor that his team did not put down for us. Not only did he refuse to refund us, he didn’t even apologize for their error. After a mistake that big, that’s the very least he could do.
Additionally, when trying to rent everything for the wedding, JP would send us quotes with items missing and inconsistent prices. In the few weeks leading up, we had to follow up with him several times to make sure that we did, in fact, have everything reserved. We had never received a final agreement or notice for final payment so we reached out to them. JP blamed us, claiming he had asked us for the signed estimate many times but never received it. We forwarded him the email where we had sent the signed estimate several weeks earlier, but he never acknowledged it.
When JP eventually sent the final agreement, the prices had been raised from the original quote. We asked about it and were told that we were supposed to be charged for an extra delivery charge, so really we were still saving money.
The final agreement was also missing several items from the original quote, including the propane oven that was going to be used to cook our guests' food. If we had not double and triple checked everything, it could have been a disaster.
Lasting Impressions was disorganized, hostile, and made promises they couldn't keep. They put their customers in an impossible position because it’s too late to make changes or hire anyone else.
The bottom line is - don’t trust Lasting Impressions with your event, especially something as important as a wedding.
Worked with Zach, he was very easy to work with, quick to respond and made sure I had everything I needed for our tented wedding. Drop off and pickup went smoothly. There was a little hiccup with where we initially planned to place the tent and where we ended up having to put it but we were able to figure it out and everything turned out wonderfully.
Zach and Lasting Impressions worked so hard to make sure our tented wedding reception at Tartan Fields was perfect! Everything looked beyond beautiful and we are so grateful for LI for making our tent dreams come true! Thank you!!
I cannot possibly speak highly enough of Lasting Impressions. Every single person who we’ve interacted with has been wonderful. They helped us out at the last minute when things didn’t work out with another vendor and provided chairs, linens, dishes and all sorts of other items for 70 people and at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend!
Everything we rented arrived the day before the event! They set it up perfectly and tore it down the next day. We had no issues with communication or payments. The price was affordable as well! As far as tent rentals go at least. I would recommend this company to other couples.
I am a wedding planner and embarrassed to be writing this review months later, but I had to share my experience. Over the past year I had the pleasure of working with Lasting Impressions on two separate weddings. I originally had contacted them for a "Hallow Wedding” Oct. 2017 needing a specific clear roof and walled tent to showcase a lighted dance floor. Bryn Du Mansion served very well for the theme. Andrea was always available to answer any questions and worked directly with myself and our clients for our every need. The linen selection was quite the process with Harry Potter, Tim Burton, Halloween, and Literature rooms. Each table design was different. Andrea never made us feel rushed and had some of the best suggestions... it helped she knew her Harry Potter!
Her prompt response and knowledge from everything to tent set up to heating fixtures led me back for a July 2017 bride running into some tent set up issues with another company for her outdoor garden wedding. Again, we eliminated extra vendors by renting everything from linens to bar glasses. Best decision.
Both weddings were just absolutely stunning, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the Lasting Impressions team… Andrea and the tent foremen, Marc and Spencer, are such a great asset to the company. I sure hope they know :)
Andrea & team did an exceptional job with turning our private property venue into the tent wedding of my dreams!
My husband and I had a large, outdoor wedding on private property in July of this year (225 guests). LI was able to provide a perfect, huge 40' x 100' tent, a gorgeous tent liner (totally worth the cost), awesome chandeliers, fans mounted within the tent, a dance floor, tables, chairs (ceremony & reception), bar tables/shelves, and linens. Everything we rented from them was absolutely perfect & exceeded our expectations, and they were also super helpful in working closely with our caterer, and making recommendations for other vendors (such as someone to provide a generator).
For any couples who feel LI might seem expensive at first glance, I implore you to make sure you're considering the full picture of the prices that other vendors quote you. I initially made the mistake of booking with another tent vendor that seemed less expensive, but after seeing that they were going to charge tons for the various delivery components, and learning that they were planning to use water barrels to support our huge tent (not safe!), I ended up switching to LI, and at a lower cost than the other company! LI had a much larger rental inventory than the other company, was willing to make multiple site visits, and was able to secure our tent with concrete blocks, which was much safer & more efficient for the size tent we needed. Once I switched over to LI, my planner & I were so much more relieved, as we knew that LI was going to do everything the right way, rather than taking any short cuts.
Bonus: they have a fun showroom in Columbus - I highly recommend stopping in to see their linens, chandeliers, etc in person. They're even happy to let you build your own tablescape so you can see all of your selections together. Perfect for detail-oriented brides like me :)
I highly recommend choosing LI for your wedding needs - especially if you're hoping for a tent reception. It was everything we dreamed of and more, and we can't thank Andrea & team enough!

It's been a year since my wedding and I feel obligated to write this review. Unfortunately, Lasting Impressions caused lots of grief on our wedding day. Lasting Impressions were to provide table clothes, napkins, head table settings and other small items on our wedding day but lots of things went awry. The company didn't fill the final order but instead filled the initial booking order. This meant that the silverware for the head table, round table clothes and details were missing on the day of the wedding. Even the napkins they brought were the wrong color (blush instead of beige). What really was unfortunate was that the company is closed on Saturday's and we couldn't reach them! We had guests having to bring their own silverware, square table clothes trying to fit round tables and a bride scrambling to fix problems before her wedding. It's important to note that they refunded the money for the missing items. The staff was great to work with and were friendly and apologetic. However, its hard to refund the moments of anxiety before your wedding day :(
We needed to rent chairs for our ceremony outdoors at the Shelterhouse at Goodale Park. I found 3 different chair rental companies and one wouldn’t come to parks and the second one was more expensive. So I went with Lasting Impressions. Overall my experience with them wasn’t what I had hoped for. When I called to place my order for the chairs they sent me my contract and charged me for my deposit. I sent them back the signed contract and didn’t receive a confirmation from them until I asked them if they had received it a week later. About two weeks before our wedding I confirmed the number of chairs needed- it was less than the original amount and they credited me the difference. There wasn’t clear communication when the final deposit was needed- it wasn’t in the contract but I was able to take care of that before our wedding. We had our reservation at the park from 9:30 - 11:30 am and our ceremony was at 10:30 am. I told them the chairs had to be set up in time for our ceremony. At 9:45 am my friends who I asked to supervise the chair set up called Lasting Impressions to see if they were on their way. They called the emergency line on the contract and no one answered, luckily someone picked up on the main line. They arrived with the chairs about a half hour later and we had guests waiting to sit down. Our ceremony went fine and we had enough chairs but I was disappointed to hear about this after our wedding. After returning from our honeymoon I called and asked to speak to a manager and explained my experience. She called the delivery manager and couldn’t confirm any details of that day and gave us a credit for the trouble we experienced. I was happy to have received a credit because the rental wasn’t cheap and I would recommend giving them a definitive time for when you need your rentals set up.
We used Lasting Impressions for our chair rentals. The chairs were pricing competitively and looked great! We had absolutely no issues with the vendor, and we would recommend to friends.
Take your business elsewhere!! For our recent wedding, we rented 35 to-the-floor tablecloths for 6 foot banquet tables and paid to have them delivered to the venue. The tablecloths that were delivered were a mismatched mess! Some had rounded corners, some had square corners, some had horizontal seams running along the bottom edge and some were the wrong size altogether!! We had friends and family setting up at the venue and it caused them much stress and additional time and headache trying to find a way to make the mismatched tablecloths look in any way uniform. We contacted Lasting Impressions during the set-up time and they offered no remedy for the problem. I have called them no less than 3 times since and the woman they say I need to speak to is never available and never returns my calls despite promises to the contrary. We paid nearly $700 for this "service" and are shocked at the complete lack of responsiveness and professionalism. They require full payment prior to the event and then take no responsibility for providing the service they promised. Do not use them for an event as important as your wedding!!
They were great to work with! Lasting Impressions delivered our tables, chairs and linens on time to our rehearsal dinner. They also picked them up!
Sam and the LI team were so easy to work with, and worked closely with the venue coordinator. We were very happy with the chairs that we rented!
The office people were wonderful to work with, but the delivery guys weren't quite as easy. And we had ordered 300 chairs that were supposed to be pre-washed and clean, but when we received them they were FILTHY. We had to wipe down each one of them individually. Some even had bird poop and hot chocolate stains on them. I was not impressed with that aspect. And there were two chairs that were totally broken that we had to fix ourselves. Just be sure to double and triple check when working with them.
I used lasting impressions to rent a stage for my band. This vendor was easy to work with and delivered and picked up the stage on time with no issues. The rental was a bit pricey for my budget but cheaper than other vendors I looked into.
I was really happy with the customer advice I received from lasting impressions, but was not to happy that the delivery of the chairs I rented cost almost as much as the chairs themselves. Luckily we were able to save some money by having the chairs delivered on Friday rather then Saturday morning.
Lasting Impressions had every color linen imaginable! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We rented our tent, the lighting, and linens from here and I have zero complaints. Everything looked beautiful!
I rented vases from Lasting Impressions for my wedding, and everything was so smooth! I put a deposit down for the amount I thought I would be renting and called to confirm and make the final payment about a month before the wedding. Pick-up and drop off are so easy!
The linens were exactly what I was looking for and at a great price! Would recommend them to anyone looking for a great linen place with lots of colors to choose from!
Lasting impressions did an amazing job in providing the most beautiful decor for our big day. Jody was fabulous and made our ballroom look like a dream. On the biggest day of our lives the details were fanatastic. Thank you for making our wedding a day we will never forget! Fabulous!
I needed a few last minute things about two weeks before my wedding and not only did they have it, but they set up delivery and pick up times for me and I never had to life a finger. Exactly what a bride needed :-)
