It ended up rainy on my wedding day during the ceremony but Sarah was on top of it making sure I had my aisle to walk down and that everything was perfect! You wouldn’t even know it was back up plan! Our wedding could not have been more perfect and we owe a large part of that to Sarah. Her knowledge and help during the process was so, so valuable. She seemed to be connected to every vendor possible, which made things so much easier for us. I run a professional string quartet in the Twin Cities and work with multiple wedding planners every weekend. Sarah Trotter and Lasting Impressions is one of the best around, in every way! Today's wedding was no exception. She met us at the door of the venue, was ready to talk through logistics right away and showed us to the different locations we'd be performing in for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. She already had a plan for cuing us for ceremony processionals that involved her and her assistant and a lengthy processional walk. Cometh the moment, and the processionals ran like clockwork. She's so easy to work with, is relaxed and in control on the day, and is not afraid to make decisions when they need to be made. She was fabulous, start to finish. Top class planner.

Working with Sarah was a dream. It was so nice to have someone that has done this literally thousands of times to steer us through the process. With a wedding there are so many small details that you would never know about until you actually have to plan a wedding. Having Sarah to not only bounce ideas off of, but keep us on pace at the right times was a huge life saver. Engaging Sarah Trotter/Lasting Impressions for full wedding planning was the best decision we’ve ever made. We started working with Sarah in early 2020 (pre-pandemic) for our July 2021 wedding in Minnesota while residing in Texas. We were two full-time working professionals, drowning in information overload and overwhelmed by wedding “how-to” guides. Our goal was to have an elegant, sophisticated wedding with minimal “askes” of family and friends, and Sarah delivered 150%. Sarah’s expertise and experience is un-matched, from vendor knowledge and coordination, to budget/cost benchmarking and day of schedules. Use of Aisle Planner (software) kept all parties organized and on track. In total, our wedding involved 10-14 vendors and two locations (church ceremony and reception venue). The pandemic was an unexpected element, and Sarah rolled with the changes, keeping us all informed. We loved the way everything pulled together and had a wonderful wedding day. We cannot thank Sarah enough, and highly recommend Lasting Impressions Weddings for wedding planning services.

Sarah was such a lifesaver! She was by far the most valuable vendor that we worked with through our wedding planning process. We were planning an out of town wedding and our venue changed planning coordinators just a few months before our big day - Sarah swooped in and calmed all of my nerves and ensured that every little thing was perfect on our wedding day. I could go on and on about how wonderful Sarah is, she is worth every penny!

She was supportive when the wedding was one of the first to be canceled due to COVID, and helped us quickly regroup and pick up where we left off. Working with Lasting Impressions was an amazing experience. We were engaged at the end of 2019 and hired Sarah for Full Wedding Coordination soon after the engagement. She was always quick to reply to my emails and to get me the information I needed to secure our vendors. When Covid hit we knew we would need to shift our wedding plans and Sarah was there to help. She contacted all of our vendors to see what dates would be available and made all of the changes. We ultimately ended up with a smaller wedding in November and once again, Sarah was there to help us transition all of our plans to a smaller scale event and it was perfect!

We used Sarah & team for their full-service option and could not be happier we did. Day of was a MUST have Sarah. She did everything. My flowers came out a little different than expected and it was fixed within minutes. Words escape me when I try to describe how grateful I was to have Lasting Impressions at my wedding. I wanted things a bit unconventional, and their team was outstanding in making it come to life and running it flawlessly. Our day was rainy but they really helped everything run smoothly. Hire these wonderful humans. Just do it. I was in my last year of graduate school when I was planning my wedding, and I STILL only found myself worried about my wedding a grand total of one time: my hair/makeup person had to change due to legislation around who is allowed to perform wedding hair/makeup changing in Minnesota. And that crisis lasted all of one day, because Sarah had already been compiling a list of options to fix everything from the moment she found out about it. The service I ended up using was absolutely phenomenal, and Sarah's ability to work quickly on her feet because of her extensive knowledge and relationships meant that it was a) a blip and not a crisis and b) I ended up with someone I knew I could trust. I'm a bit of a planner, so I initially thought we'd mostly just need day-of services, and we thought we wouldn't really need to bounce ideas off of someone. I did do a lot of research on my own (just out of boredom during my free time), but Sarah was an invaluable resource for narrowing down our last decisions. There are so many amazing vendors out there, but some might be a better fit for you, personally, than others. Sarah knows enough about all the local vendors that when you are down to your last couple choices and need help, she can say 'hire Vendor A if you want ABC, but Vendor B might be a better fit if you want XYZ'. She gives you options and guidance, but never pushes her vision or opinion on you. She was also great at recommending vendors that she knows all work well together, which was crucial because on the day of our wedding, nobody exists in a vacuum. If you're not a planner, she is probably even more key, because she is UNBELIEVABLY organized. She is on top of checklists based on where you're at in the process and sends out emails reminding you what you should be doing/looking at booking based on how far out you are. She keeps track of all your payments and helps keep you on budget with spreadsheets that show how your spending is going. She helps facilitate contracts and keeps track of important dates for things. She thinks of the little things you never would have dreamed about considering, but you're so happy that Sarah did because the little details end up being everything. She was truly excited about our wedding, and you can tell weddings are truly her calling from the moment you meet her. We didn't end up working with Sarah on our actual wedding day (she was committed to another wedding that day), so we worked with Erika who was an absolute dream to work with. We had a mini hiccup (I didn't know about until after everything - my mom told me the next day) with not having enough plate chargers sent over for the reception, and Erika made sure someone got the extras picked up and put in place with plenty of time. Everything was (apparently to me) flawless the day of, and I know it was because Erika was working tirelessly in the background making sure anything that came up was handled before it got to me. Hiring Lasting Impressions was the single best decision I made in my wedding planning. They are the BEST.

Sarah is AMAZING!!! I love her positive energy, professionalism, and work ethic so much. She is so wonderful and makes it so you don’t have to worry about anything on your big day. PLUS, they are fur-lovin', which is VERY important to our couples who are having their fur-babes involved on their Big Day!
