Our wedding could not have been more perfect and we owe a large part of that to Sarah. Her knowledge and help during the process was so, so valuable. Sarah Trotter is truly the most amazing wedding planner - I cannot recommend her highly enough and would definitely say she was easily the best decision we made for our wedding! From the very start of the wedding planning process she had me feeling stress free and relaxed (and that’s saying something for a type A bride!). Sarah and her team are the absolute BEST. I am so grateful I hired her as our wedding planner, it is by far the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, my advice is to ABSOLUTELY DO IT! And not only that, but hire Lasting Impressions to do it because you WILL NOT regret it :)

I run a professional string quartet in the Twin Cities and work with multiple wedding planners every weekend. Sarah Trotter and Lasting Impressions is one of the best around, in every way! Today's wedding was no exception. She met us at the door of the venue, was ready to talk through logistics right away and showed us to the different locations we'd be performing in for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. She already had a plan for cuing us for ceremony processionals that involved her and her assistant and a lengthy processional walk. Cometh the moment, and the processionals ran like clockwork. She's so easy to work with, is relaxed and in control on the day, and is not afraid to make decisions when they need to be made. She was fabulous, start to finish. Top class planner.

Working with Sarah was a dream. It was so nice to have someone that has done this literally thousands of times to steer us through the process. With a wedding there are so many small details that you would never know about until you actually have to plan a wedding. Having Sarah to not only bounce ideas off of, but keep us on pace at the right times was a huge life saver. Sarah helped with the entire planning process from vendors to budget tracking to design to day of timeline to unlimited advice along the way! She suggested vendors and helped coordinate schedules and contracts with each. Sarah understood our style and vision and helped make it come to life with the perfect design and decor ideas. Engaging Sarah Trotter/Lasting Impressions for full wedding planning was the best decision we’ve ever made. We started working with Sarah in early 2020 (pre-pandemic) for our July 2021 wedding in Minnesota while residing in Texas. We were two full-time working professionals, drowning in information overload and overwhelmed by wedding “how-to” guides. Our goal was to have an elegant, sophisticated wedding with minimal “askes” of family and friends, and Sarah delivered 150%. Sarah’s expertise and experience is un-matched, from vendor knowledge and coordination, to budget/cost benchmarking and day of schedules. Use of Aisle Planner (software) kept all parties organized and on track. In total, our wedding involved 10-14 vendors and two locations (church ceremony and reception venue). The pandemic was an unexpected element, and Sarah rolled with the changes, keeping us all informed. We loved the way everything pulled together and had a wonderful wedding day. We cannot thank Sarah enough, and highly recommend Lasting Impressions Weddings for wedding planning services.

Sarah was the best wedding planner, we couldn’t have done it without her. She helped us through a cancellation to a beautiful wedding one year later. She guided us to the best vendors. The entire wedding to reception was seamless because of Sarah’s attention to detail. She was so organized. She even brought all the wedding equipment back to our house after the wedding. Sarah was such a lifesaver! She was by far the most valuable vendor that we worked with through our wedding planning process. We were planning an out of town wedding and our venue changed planning coordinators just a few months before our big day - Sarah swooped in and calmed all of my nerves and ensured that every little thing was perfect on our wedding day. I could go on and on about how wonderful Sarah is, she is worth every penny!

Sarah Trotter was organized, professional, and a joy to work with!! She was supportive when the wedding was one of the first to be canceled due to COVID, and helped us quickly regroup and pick up where we left off. Working with Lasting Impressions was an amazing experience. We were engaged at the end of 2019 and hired Sarah for Full Wedding Coordination soon after the engagement. She was always quick to reply to my emails and to get me the information I needed to secure our vendors. When Covid hit we knew we would need to shift our wedding plans and Sarah was there to help. She contacted all of our vendors to see what dates would be available and made all of the changes. We ultimately ended up with a smaller wedding in November and once again, Sarah was there to help us transition all of our plans to a smaller scale event and it was perfect!

Hands down the best choice we made for our wedding was having Sarah as our wedding coordinator!! I could go on forever about how helpful she was both to me as well as for my whole family. I can't imagine our day (and the planning process) without her!! Can't recommend her enough!

Sarah Trotter is the absolute best. Not only is she extremely fun and happy to work with, she is extremely talented at what she does! We used Sarah & team for their full-service option and could not be happier we did. She was with us every step of the way -- flower meetings, food tasting, venue check-ins, etc. In addition to constantly emailing us and vendors, checking in to make sure we're feeling okay, giving ideas/brainstorming all the way up to the day of. Day of was a MUST have Sarah. She did everything. My flowers came out a little different than expected and it was fixed within minutes. She handled everything and the day went absolutely perfect (in our minds, which is exactly what you want!) I even forgot to put guest food preferences on the cards -- Sarah took care of it. I bought a sign with our last name on it last minute -- Sarah helped paint it. She didn't miss a beat. I don't even know where to begin with Sarah and her team. I can not say enough good things about working with her. Words escape me when I try to describe how grateful I was to have Lasting Impressions at my wedding. I wanted things a bit unconventional, and their team was outstanding in making it come to life and running it flawlessly. Our day was rainy but they really helped everything run smoothly. There were a lot of logistics to manage and my mom said "I'm really glad you hired them." Their team was responsive, organized and proactive during the entire planning process and I was grateful to have them! I highly recommend Sarah and her team!

Hire these wonderful humans. Just do it. I was in my last year of graduate school when I was planning my wedding, and I STILL only found myself worried about my wedding a grand total of one time: my hair/makeup person had to change due to legislation around who is allowed to perform wedding hair/makeup changing in Minnesota. And that crisis lasted all of one day, because Sarah had already been compiling a list of options to fix everything from the moment she found out about it. The service I ended up using was absolutely phenomenal, and Sarah's ability to work quickly on her feet because of her extensive knowledge and relationships meant that it was a) a blip and not a crisis and b) I ended up with someone I knew I could trust. I'm a bit of a planner, so I initially thought we'd mostly just need day-of services, and we thought we wouldn't really need to bounce ideas off of someone. I did do a lot of research on my own (just out of boredom during my free time), but Sarah was an invaluable resource for narrowing down our last decisions. There are so many amazing vendors out there, but some might be a better fit for you, personally, than others. Sarah knows enough about all the local vendors that when you are down to your last couple choices and need help, she can say 'hire Vendor A if you want ABC, but Vendor B might be a better fit if you want XYZ'. She gives you options and guidance, but never pushes her vision or opinion on you. She was also great at recommending vendors that she knows all work well together, which was crucial because on the day of our wedding, nobody exists in a vacuum. If you're not a planner, she is probably even more key, because she is UNBELIEVABLY organized. She is on top of checklists based on where you're at in the process and sends out emails reminding you what you should be doing/looking at booking based on how far out you are. She keeps track of all your payments and helps keep you on budget with spreadsheets that show how your spending is going. She helps facilitate contracts and keeps track of important dates for things. She thinks of the little things you never would have dreamed about considering, but you're so happy that Sarah did because the little details end up being everything. She was truly excited about our wedding, and you can tell weddings are truly her calling from the moment you meet her. We didn't end up working with Sarah on our actual wedding day (she was committed to another wedding that day), so we worked with Erika who was an absolute dream to work with. We had a mini hiccup (I didn't know about until after everything - my mom told me the next day) with not having enough plate chargers sent over for the reception, and Erika made sure someone got the extras picked up and put in place with plenty of time. Everything was (apparently to me) flawless the day of, and I know it was because Erika was working tirelessly in the background making sure anything that came up was handled before it got to me. Hiring Lasting Impressions was the single best decision I made in my wedding planning. They are the BEST.

Sarah is AMAZING!!! I love her positive energy, professionalism, and work ethic so much. She is so wonderful and makes it so you don’t have to worry about anything on your big day. Sarah is hands down the wedding vendor you wanted but never knew you NEEDED until booking and working with her. She is insanely organized, professional, and an overall fun person to work with. Doggy Social MN recently worked with Lasting Impressions on a Wedding and was truly impressed with their shared desire to give the couple, their pups, friends, and family the Best Day Ever! PLUS, they are fur-lovin', which is VERY important to our couples who are having their fur-babes involved on their Big Day! Wow, it is hard to put into words my feelings for Sarah (aka Lasting Impressions Weddings). She is the absolute BEST! I loved not having to worry about how flowers were going to get on the cake, when flowers were arriving for the bridal party, coordinating all the vendors, etc. Her assistant even sewed the back of one of my bridesmaid's dresses like how awesome is that! I planned my Minneapolis wedding from Boston for a year and a half and Sarah was the biggest support! I did not have to think about or stress over a single thing on my wedding day because Sarah had it covered. She was there when I needed her and made sure everything was PERFECT. She also has an amazing relationship with literally every vendor in Minnesota! (Very important). Ask anyone - she is the GO TO wedding planner in Minnesota.

Sarah Trotter and her team are amazing! Sarah was our day-of coordinator which took a lot of stress out of our big day. She picked up our cake for us which saved us a lot of hassle. A day before the wedding she came to our house and picked up all of our decor items and had everything set up for us. We loved allowing our close friends and family to enjoy more of the day without being worker bees. She was an excellent resource for vendor recommendations, vendor tipping etiquette, and any questions related to weddings. She even told us we could contact her on vacation (we didn't - but that's how dedicated she is). We loved working with Sarah. I can't imagine planning a wedding for the first time without her.

Sarah and Dawn of Lasting Impressions were absolutely wonderful to work with. It was clear they knew what they were doing from asking the all right questions during pre-wedding planning to their efficiency on the wedding day itself. We had an Indian Wedding and they were able to cater to our specific needs and follow instructions that allowed for all of our important traditions. They day couldn’t have gone more smoothly and it wouldn’t have been possible without them. Right after my friends and family, the first person I called post engagement was Sarah Trotter- and it was the best decision (aside saying “yes to my husband”) that I made throughout wedding planning. Sarah had planned my best friend’s amazing wedding a few years back, so I knew I had to have her when it was my turn too. Sarah is THE BEST! We hired Sarah as our day of coordinator after receiving multiple referrals from friends who worked with Sarah on their weddings. She is extremely organized and responsive to emails, which I appreciated as my fiancé and I were planning from out of state. She was flexible with scheduling meetings for times when I would be in town. For the day of, she made one long document that had everything you needed for the day of. She led the rehearsal and had everything handled for the wedding day. I didn't find out about minor crises (e.g. When my brother got a bloody nose on his groomsman shirt right before pictures) until the day after my wedding because Sarah helped take care of it by being prepared with a bleach pen! Not only that, but when I saw the room set up for the reception, Sarah had perfectly executed my vision for the wedding and decor. You will not be disappointed hiring Sarah. There's a reason she and her team keep being awarded "best planner."
