My husband and I got married on the Pacific Terrace yesterday at L’Auberge Del Mar and it was the best decision we made to say the least! It was an absolute dream and we highly recommend having your special day here at L’Auberge Del Mar. The hotel staff is incredible, the food is to die for, and the events service manager, Dionne Hesley, was an absolute joy to work with. All the chefs were so friendly and we had just an awesome experience overall. Everyone is so kind and responsive, we would do it a million times over if we could. 10/10 recommend having your wedding here. All of our guests RAVED about our day yesterday at L’Auberge and said the sunset over looking the Pacific terrace during the reception was so breathtaking and stunning. We loved every minute of our wedding day and plan to return back for our anniversary every year!

I am soooo happy with my recent wedding at L’Auberge! Dionne, our event coordinator, was incredibly accommodating and flexible throughout the planning process, seamlessly adjusting to any requests or changes. The banquet staff went above and beyond, providing attentive service that truly elevated our experience. Lauberge Del Mar surpassed our expectations with its stunning venue and picturesque scenery. Both the ceremony and reception areas were perfect, creating a beautiful backdrop for our special day. Our wedding planner, Cara, was amazing and so detailed! She created the most dreamy space better then what we had envisioned. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a memorable and picturesque wedding experience with top notch staff.

We had the most incredible experience at L'Auberge from start to finish! The moment we first walked the property, we knew we wanted to get married here and it will forever feel like a home away from home for us. The team went above and beyond for us and our guests. ABSOLUTELY the most luxurious experiences I could have imagined. My husband & I got married on October 7, 2023 and had the opportunity to work with the most amazing event services managers, Dionne. From the day we checked in to the day we left the venue, we were treated like royalty. Not only that but we were incredibly blessed to have the most gorgeous cotton candy skies sunset during our reception that made it all feel like a dream. From staff, to details, to venue location, to literally everything, L'auberge exceeded my expectations. HIGHLY recommend as the #1 venue to get married!!

From the beginning, L'Auberge Del Mar was where I had my heart set on getting married at. The night that we got engaged, my fiance had booked us a room at L'Auberge and from there we both fell in love with the venue. Fast forward to the planning process, and every single staff member, waiter, valet, bartender, planner, coordinator that we worked with and spoke to was SO wonderful. L'Auberge Del Mar is the perfect beachside fairytale wedding venue. It's no surprise they have weddings almost every weekend- they are truly a dream destination for friends and family to visit from out of town, or for San Diego locals to experience the magic of Del Mar in our own backyard. I would like to extend a few Thank You's especially to Whitney, for making the whole process seamless, to Dionne for making our weeks leading up and our day-of wedding an absolute DREAM- seriously Dionne was the best. So sweet, calming and wonderful to work with. And of course everyone who worked the valet, bartenders, servers, and staff during our wedding weekend. Our guests, who mainly came from out of town, were all raving about L'Auberge. The views are incredible, they all loved how welcomed they felt, how amazing the lobby smelled (seriously a scent I'll never forget!), and how DELICIOUS all the food & drinks were! Our wedding weekend was truly perfect thanks to everyone at L'Auberge Del Mar, and I just wish I could relive the weekend again and again! Thank you thank you thank you L'Auberge Del Mar!

To be clear we did not end up booking this vendor. This is based on communications with them during the researching of venues for our wedding. We requested for more information and were very flatly told that the hotel could not accommodate our wedding because our guest count was not large enough. We asked if we could do it on a weekday and the reply was that we could only book this at the most 3 months in advance (which wouldn’t have worked because ours was a destination wedding). I completely understand if that is their policy. However, there is a way to treat potential customers to still make people feel valued and hears, especially when planning an important and emotional event like a wedding. They did not do this and just flatly told us no, without any more discussion on if there was any other option for us or what other couples holding smaller weddings have done? Overall, we just found Courtney to be cold and dismissive in the way she responded to us, and felt that this possibly was because we were having a smaller wedding and weren’t important enough or wouldn’t bring in enough revenue for the hotel to be given any attention? Not a great first impression.

We absolutely loved this venue! The views are spectacular. The wedding staff was amazing to deal with. And our guests loved going to different locations in the venue during the night (from Pacific Terrace for ceremony & dinner to Sunset Terrace for cocktail hour to the ballroom for dancing). It's a unique part of this place that adds a cool dynamic.

We loved having our event at L'Auberge Del Mar. The atmosphere was so lovely and charming, the staff was attentive, and the food was delicious and amazing!!

My wife and I were blown away on the day of our event at the beauty of the venue and level of service that was provided for us and our guests. It was worth every penny spent.

Allyssa and all of the Staff at L'Auberge were key in making our dreams come true for our wedding. We were supposed to get married on the Sunset Terrace but it rained! It was unfortunate but they did everything they could to make the ball room suitable for our large wedding. The food was amazing and the set up at L'Auberge is so fun for guests!! I highly recommend.

My husband and I recently got married on the Pacific Terrace overlooking the ocean at L'Auberge Del Mar. We absolutely loved the venue and the L'Auberge team. The surrounding area is also incredible for wedding guests - there is so much to do and everything is extremely convenient, which makes for a fantastic wedding weekend experience for all involved! Allyssa is an absolute gem, and she is truly a pleasure to work with! She and her team went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, comfortable, and valued throughout our entire wedding process, especially during our wedding weekend! There were a number of personal touches that she included which made our experience all that much better. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make the weekend magical! I would recommend the hotel and the L'Auberge team to any future couple looking to get married within the area. We had so much fun and can't wait to visit the property again very soon!!

L'Auberge was the perfect venue for my wife and I to share our love for each other with the world and the staff made it all the more special and comfortable, allowing me to focus on my wife that day, giving us the chance to enjoy our moment together. Allyssa was amazing in coordinating our wedding at L'Auberge Del Mar. She was so responsive the entire time and really worked with us on the days and months leading up to the wedding. We truly felt she held our best interest at heart and wanted to make our day so special! She checked in on us on our wedding day to make sure everything was running smoothly and we were having a good time. She's pleasant to work and our wedding was absolutely perfect!! Truly the best venue and we were so incredibly happy with the whole day.

The team at L'Auberge Del Mar made our day an absolute dream come true! They were so easy to work with and so attentive day of. A venue filled with breathtaking views, class, and elegance. This venue - along with the people - are simply exceptional. I worked with Courtney Ikeda and Allyssa Valle. I cannot articulate how incredible this experience has been and how knowledgeable, professional, and thoughtful Allyssa and Courtney were. There was never any doubt that our wedding would be a beautiful event knowing that it would take place at L'Auberge, but it was also the kindness and thoughtfulness both Courtney and Allyssa had that made it so much more special. They really will accommodate each individual's own vision. For me, it was important for people to feel relaxed (and give them time to take in those breathtaking ocean views in this incredibly beautiful and newly renovated boutique paradise of a hotel!) It is a beautiful venue with unparalleled individuals that make up the team at L'Auberge. I cannot wait to go back. Here's an extra: the food was out of this world. One thing that mattered to us more than anything was the food. Wow. We had guest after guest tell us how delicious the food was. That is a testament given that no one really remembers wedding food. L'Auberge is different - it was literally a Michelin-star menu.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at L’Auberge and it was absolutely gorgeous! Our wedding was an intimate 30 person group, which allowed for a lot of creativity and personal touches on their Pacific Terrace that over looked the ocean. We really let the view be the focal point of the day and it made for amazing pictures. The food was lovely and the banquet staff was so incredibly kind. The chef made a special vegan option for us as we had a few plant based folks in attendance and it did not disappoint! Our onsite coordinator was fantastic! She was very communicative throughout the entire planning process, and made us feel comfortable and happy on our special day. Thank you soooo much, Allyssa!! I highly recommend this venue for your ceremony and reception, especially if you’re looking to have a beautiful view and add your own touch of creativity.

I wanted to take the time and thank L'Auberge Del Mar and Courtney for being so supportive during the postponement of my 2020 wedding. Courtney was thoughtful, understanding and responsive. Although, I did not get my dream wedding to happen, I have fond memories of the beautiful venue and I cant wait till I get to come back and say hi to the whole staff. P.S. the valet guys are fun and helpful.

The worst experience ever dealing with Courtney. Had so many issues I can't even count them on both hands. She obviously favors certain people, let's certain people do things and not others. We asked to have sparklers on July 4th told ,"No" then see other Instagram pictures of weddings after ours with Sparklers, cold fire works, from our OWN SAME DJ!!!! she never told us we could start earlier she set the most awful timeline so the wedding was so rushed time wise from flipping the terrace to the dining, to the party. Unless you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to decorate the terrace for days ahead, or you don't have much decorating then it could work, but if you are in the above average range where you need time to make the venue look and feel amazing WITHOUT TIME, and your PICTURES being compromised, go somewhere else! Fortunately we pulled off the look we wanted, but getting to that point was a shear headache all along working with this woman. There is also no reason our vendors had to go eat dinner, they came prepared to work. That made our photographer miss out on shooting so many more family table shots, etc. Our final bill had other people's services on ours, plants that were promised to block the ugly traffic street view were given the morning of the wedding and were only one foot tall!!! Why promise to fix something, then on the day of not deliver what you promised?? How do you do that to people when it was discussed in great detail months ahead? How do you leave dead plants and dead grass on the property and need us to tell you to fix it a few weeks ahead of our wedding, after you spend 2.5 million on a remodel? How do you leave dead plants in the planters on the village view suite rooms on the 1500 square ft patio we obviously were using all weekend with our friends and family? How do you as the representative of L'auberge not even mention those rooms that share that large patio to us when you knew we were doing a 4th of July holiday weekend wedding from Friday thru Monday and needed to reserve those rooms and that patio? Luckily, I saw those rooms and patio myself on the website. Why did I have to ask you?Courtney is the worst unaccommodating wedding venue personnel I have ever worked with and this is not my first daughters wedding!!! The hotel is not as "bougie" as it seems when you are planning a beautiful wedding there. The hotel is mismanaged and people quitting left and right because of it. There are other ocean views in San Diego where I'm sure it would be better orchestrated without ugly traffic street view on the street side (in pictures unless you do something about it ahead) and managed on a higher level commensurate with the costs. Be aware!!! My friend whose daughter got married there 2 weeks after mine had the same terrible experience. So disappointing. Planning a wedding is an amazing time. Choosing a venue either makes it more or less stressful. There are no do overs...this hotel is like beauty and the beast....beautiful on the outside, ugly on the inside once you start planning.

I have to give a HUGE thanks to Danielle and her team at L'auberge for the unbelievable service at our wedding this past weekend. Everything from start to finish was absolutely flawless and stress free, even with a wedding date change due to covid. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of service, food, communication, and flexibility from this venue. We would choose this place 100x over. Thanks again, Danielle! You made our wedding dreams come true.

This venue is absolutely what wedding dreams are made of. Courtney and her team were amazing, attentive and beyond accommodating to my fiance and I. They worked with our budget and went above and beyond to make our day special. It was unforgettable and I could not be happier to have made our wedding memories at L'Auberge.

My daughter and I fell in love with L’ Auberge Del Mar the moment we walked in the door! We met with Courtney, the hotel wedding coordinator who could not have been nicer. Little did we know how hard it would be planning this wedding. As Covid took hold and changed everything, L’ Auberge changed with us...they were very accommodating to ever changing plans. My daughter’s wedding (although much smaller than originally planned) went off without a hitch 9/19/20. I give high praise to the entire staff at L’ Auberge for making us feel so special the entire time we were there. They knew our names which always makes one feel special. We will definitely return for a Southern California get-away! Thank you Courtney and L’ Auberge!

It took me so long to write this review because it is hard to put into words how truly wonderful our experience with L’Auberge was, even in the midst of a pandemic. My mom and I looked at two other venues before walking into the lobby of L’Auberge for an afternoon drink. As soon as we stepped onto the property we both looked at each other and knew this was the place that my husband and I should get married. The event planner was not on site that day so we gave ourselves a tour, fell more in love, and ended up signing our contract less than two weeks later without ever taking an official tour of the property. The best thing about L’Auberge is its customer service. Courtney and her team went above and beyond throughout our entire experience. There was a lot of uncertainty during our planning as covid restrictions were changing on an almost daily basis. Although all parties came to the decision that we should downsize our numbers, none of the magic was lost. Courtney was an advocate for us as a couple and worked tirelessly to ensure that our day was as perfect as could be. Our wedding went off without a hitch (or at least no problems I was aware of) with Courtney and her team checking in throughout. Even my guests commented on how excellent the customer service was. The entire weekend was an experience, rather than just a singular event. If you want a wedding with beautiful ocean views, excellent food and drinks, and a team of people who genuinely care about you, then L’Auberge is your only pick.

Great venue, food, views and staff! Such a great experience and everything we wanted and asked for we received! So happy with the professionalism of all of the staff in all of the outlets, we are so happy! Best day of our lives so far! Even with covid and all of the uncertainty in the world during this pandemic, the venue and Courtney Ikeda, our coordinator absolutely worked with us on everything and all of our requests!

L'Auberge Del Mar is the absolute best and a dream wedding venue in every way!! I live in Texas and have always wanted to get married outdoors, so we made the decision to have a destination wedding after getting engaged in San Diego and discovering L'Auberge! Best decision ever!! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and the location/views could not be better! They have a lovely pool and it's just a short walk down to the beach directly from the hotel. It's the perfect size hotel for a destination wedding and the perfect place for guests to get to experience Del Mar! They have the best wedding package options and everyone at L'Auberge was so amazing to work with from the start. We were originally supposed to get married in June but had to postpone our wedding to October due to Covid. L'Auberge made the entire process as stress-free as possible and did everything they could to work with us during this crazy year to help make my dream wedding come true - and boy did they deliver! We worked mostly with Courtney, who is the absolute best!! Nothing but amazing things to say about her! She was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire process and did everything in her power to make sure our wedding could happen safely. They were flexible and patient with us, and always upfront about the policies/guidelines/etc. They allowed us to have our wedding as we planned it, without having to disinvite guests or change major aspects, all while following the safety protocols. They were also willing to give us a full refund if we chose to cancel given the circumstances, which was so huge!! We of course decided to move forward with the wedding, and we are so happy we did!! We had our ceremony upstairs on the Pacific Terrace, which is also where we had our reception. Everything was absolutely stunning and perfect! And the food was incredible!! Best Short Rib I've ever had (we got TONS of compliments on the food from all of our guests - everyone loved the Salmon and the Short Rib!). The service was impeccable and all of our guests had the best time. I wouldn't change a single thing and I will be recommending L'Auberge to anyone and everyone who is looking to get married in the San Diego/Del Mar area!

The perfect venue for a wedding! We got married last weekend and it could not have been more perfect. L’Auberge, our catering manager Courtney, and the staff were simply top notch. Even through COVID the venue was very communicative and extremely flexible with us. They accommodated every request and need we had while making sure our event went off without a hitch. With so many couples in 2020 having issues with their venue and their venues being less than kind, I can assure you L’Auberge was nothing but the epitome of the perfection of customer service. Our guests simply loved the venue and the food!!! We were told by multiple guests how this was the most perfect setting and wedding they had been to. Our day was special and perfect thanks to L’Auberge Del Mar! Get married here!

Absolutely spectacular setting and staff! Perfect place to have a wedding! All of our guests said it was the best wedding ever! The views from the terrace are stunning and the walkability of Del Mar makes it so easy. From start to finish, incredibly professional, kind, thoughtful and devoted to creating our dream wedding. As the mother of the bride planning a destination wedding, they could not have made this whole process easier and more fun. We had to postpone once due to Covid and they were so cooperative and caring in making the needed changes and reassuring us. I can not say enough wonderful things about Courtney Ikeda, our contact there. She was so prompt and thorough in all of her communications, so caring and kind and her attention to detail at the wedding was impressive. Their staff is fabulous and catered to our every need. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel and loved it. Their wedding packages make planning so easy, especially figuring out the budget and staying on the budget. The food is phenomenal, the setting and views can't be beat and they welcome you like you are family. Truly was the wedding of all of our dreams in the perfect location. We miss L'Auberge already and can't wait to go back for a vacation. My favorite hotel ever!

We toured several (10+) hotels in the San Diego/Del Mar area, and we knew when we walked in that we wanted to get married at this hotel. It is gorgeous. The staff at L’Auberge Del Mar accommodated all of our wants, needs, and budget, very unlike the other venues that we visited. This venue provides the complete package and is well worth your while. Planning and having our wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic was far from easy, but Courtney and the staff at L’Auberge Del Mar were 100% there for us and were flexible with our changes. We felt so very grateful to be able to move forward with our different but absolutely beautiful wedding and outdoor mass, while our friends at other venues faced cancellations and heartbreak. The staff went out of their way to provide a safe, unique, and beautiful weekend that was so personal and special to us. Our guests were blown away by the friendliness and joy that they felt from the moment they arrived. We are forever grateful to Courtney for carrying out our plans beyond our wildest dreams and we will be back to celebrate for years to come.

After our original wedding plans fell through due to COVID, we reached out to L’Auberge Del Mar to check their availability in planning a new wedding in three months from out of state. Courtney responded the same day to our request for information and from that moment on everything was a breeze! Courtney was a joy to work with and made everything so easy and stress free. She is extremely responsive and always returned my calls and emails almost immediately. The entire staff at the hotel made us feel so welcome when we arrived for our stay and asked questions about the wedding, etc. Finally, the team the night of the wedding went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well taken care of! We highly recommend L’Auberge Del Mar to everyone for a beautiful and stress-free wedding!

I grew up going to L'Auberge as a child, so when it came time to plan my wedding it seemed to be the perfect venue. From the first email I sent to scheduling my tasting the L'Auberge team was incredible and very responsive. Everyone at the hotel is customer focussed and I know my guest would have an incredible experience. Unfortunately I had to postpone my wedding due to Covid and the team was incredible in helping navigate such a touch situation. I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue, if you have never been it is worth checking out and eating at their ocean view restaurant!

L'Auberge was the most magical wedding venue that we could have dreamed of. The staff is amazing and the service was exceptional. We looked at a handful of venues for our wedding in September of 2019. We saw beautiful places and met friendly people. L’Auberge was our last stop, and we both knew at the end of the night that this would be our first choice for a venue. I have so much to say... Katie is a dream. She is so pleasant, organized, on-the-ball and made every single thing easy. That’s really hard to do from states away. The venue is beautiful. There is no other word to describe how nice it is... the parking is a breeze (valet).. and if you’ve been in the areas in so. Cal you know how hard it is to have good parking. They were so easy to work with about payments and accommodating our guests. Their food is out of this world & their service is honestly next to none. Every staff member was so helpful and more importantly happy to do so. Del Mar is a beautiful place and will always have a special place in my heart. I look forward to going back every chance I get and will make it a point to stay at L’Auberge at least for a night. Thank you to every person that made my wedding perfect & Katie, you’re a blessing! I wish you health and happiness for your whole life. Looking forward to seeing you in the future.

We visited a lot of venues between San Diego and Santa Barbara for our destination wedding, and L'Auberge Del Mar really stood out for its beauty, location, and organization. Katie patiently walked us through all of the offerings and options that L'auberge had for our wedding, including booking the Seagrove park setting for our ceremony and cocktail hour. L'auberge was also very flexible when we had to change our tasting visit, and shared lots of great options so that our dinner and hors d'oeuvres were delicious. While we felt there were some restrictions and errors with the room block logistics, they certainly were friendly and attentive hosts for our wedding weekend. All of our guests said they felt treated to a special California get-away, and L'Auberge gets credit for confidently and beautifully providing that setting for everyone.

The venue is beautiful but their service is extraordinary. Katie was very accommodating with ensuring we stuck to our budget and she made sure all our specific needs were met. Our guests LOVED the beach side bistro lunch buffet and a few even asked who the catering was done by so that they could use the reference in the future. We were lucky enough to have rain on our big day and L’Auberge was right there with us, ready to switch from the terrace to the grand ballroom or vice versa until the very last minute. Katie maintained great communication before, on the day of and even after our wedding day to make us feel truly as valued guests. Thanks L’Auberge for hosting our beautiful wedding!!!

L'Auberge provided a spectacular setting for our wedding! I loved getting to have our ceremony outside with the ocean in the background, but without the hassle or mess of bringing our guests onto the sand. The food was seriously amazing! And, although it was an expensive venue, our package did include quite a bit. The staff was very organized, efficient, and helpful. Especially the catering manager, Robin, who was an absolute delight to work with! She is truly amazing at her job-- she was thoughtful and organized, and made our wedding day run like a well-oiled machine! Even when some uncooperative weather blew in, she seamlessly put our plan B into action, and the day was perfect!

Our wedding was wonderful at L’Auberge. The view is great from Pacific Terrace. Great setting for both the ceremony and dinner. Our guests raved about the food and setting. Service was great. Having it at a hotel makes it easy to get ready and easy logistically for vendors and guests. We were first concerned on moving the dancing to the ballroom after dinner but it made it nice to change it up and guests then mingles more with guests not at their dinner table.

Our destination wedding at L'Auberge was a fairytale! From start to finish, L'Auberge delivered excellent customer service. Katie Hoffman made us feel welcomed on our first visit (From PA and found this online) and throughout our whole planning process. We had 38 people fly out to Del Mar, CA for our wedding weekend and no one wanted to leave!! The staff is just so inviting; friendly and accommodating. I would recommend L'Auberge to anyone interested in a wedding! All of my expectations were met and the wedding food was delicious even though we didn't have a tasting (we didn't have the chance to fly from east coast home to west coast) Our ceremony was in Sea Grove Park with Angelica Strings (also recommend!!), dinner on the roof top at L'Auberge with Still Listening Productions (guitar by Michael- perfection!!) and then dancing in the ballroom.

Our weddding at L’Auberge was magical on June 23, 2018. It was the best day of our lives. The service was superb, the location was amazing (Pacific Terrace overlooking the ocean), the venue was amazing, our coordinator, Katie was excellent from start to finish. The food was exquisite. Every detail about L’Auberge was 5 star. From the rooms, to the location, the restaurant, the deck, the Live band on the weekend, everything was to die for. I am so impressed with this place. I am already talking about having a five year wedding vow renewal there, anything to celebrate at this place again. They catered to our every need. I am pleased with the communication, the patience, the standards and the overall experience that L’Auberge offered our wedding party. Our guest was amazed and we were pleased with the hospitality. I would recommend any bride and groom to get married at L’Auberge. This place will forever be in our hearts and we will always visit L’Auberge when we come to San Diego. Growing up in San Diego, I always knew I wanted to get married by the beach! L'Auberge is perfectly situated on Del Mar Beach overlooking the ocean. The whole day, we were looking out into the vast blue and enjoying the perfect sunny weather San Diego always offers. Above the beautiful location, L'Auberge offers the most amazing, helpful, courteous staff. Robin Jensen is always happy to see you and willing to work for you to get the most perfect day!

L'Auberge was an absolute dream venue for us from the moment we first visited it. Our venue search was fairly minimal since L'Auberge was one of the first venues we looked at. I had seen the hotel a few times while my Dad was temporarily living in La Quinta and knew I wanted to look at it from the moment we got engaged. The moment we stepped foot onto the property and met with the wedding coordinator at the time (no longer there, but the current coordinator, Robin, is great too!), we knew it was a done deal for us. We were absolutely in love with it. Both the property and the staff made it an easy decision. From a pricing stand point, it definitely is not inexpensive, however, now that our wedding is done, I can say it is worth every penny! Throughout the planning process, Robin and the rest of the staff were incredibly prompt in their communication with us. Any question I had was answered pretty much immediately. They were also very flexible with us in helping bring our wedding vision to life. They wanted to make sure our day was perfect for us. We had our tasting a few months prior to the wedding and what an amazing experience that was! The chef came and met with us and was so incredibly nice (the food was amazing!). Now for the wedding weekend! Absolutely magical. The hotel staff treated us and our guests like royalty the entire weekend. I truly can't say enough positive things about them. The ceremony at Seagrove Park was truly breathtaking. Our guests were blown away. We also loved that we were able to split the reception up into a few different locations at the property--cocktail hour on Sunset Terrace, dinner on the roof, and dancing in the ballroom. Every portion of the day was a dream come true and the staff and Robin at L'Auberge are a huge part of this. They worked with Bree (our planner from I Love You More Events) and all our vendors to execute such a perfect day. Also, I must mention how many compliments we got on the food! Wedding food can be tough when it is mass produced, but this honestly was exceptional. A lot of people told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had! I truly can't thank the hotel enough for being a part of the best weekend of our lives. We can't wait to go back there for a vacation in 2018!

How do you even BEGIN to describe the best day of your life - at the best venue in the world?!? L'Auberge Del Mar is breathtakingly beautiful - a perfect setting for the perfect day filled with all your friends and family. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the dinner/reception to dancing - each part of the hotel was so beautiful with unbelievable views of the ocean. We were lucky enough to have exceptional weather with a gorgeous sunset during dinner - topped off with market lights that really elevated the ambiance. Our guests came from all over the country and they were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the location - saying "they've never been to a wedding this beautiful!!" We got a suite for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in - and that in and of itself was so much fun and so amazing!! We had two balconies that offered THE best views of Del Mar. Having our wedding here was the 2nd best decision we've ever made... the first... deciding to get married in the first place :) Robin and her team were BEYOND fantastic, making sure that every with was absolutely perfect throughout the planning process and, of course, the day of. I was so happy that I did not have to stress one bit the day of our wedding because I knew they would take care of everything. I was also so appreciative that Robin took the time to meet with me and my family the day before the wedding to walk through everything once more to ensure everything was good to go. Her positive and easy going attitude, combined with her professionalism and organization made for stress-free wedding planning, which is virtually unheard of! We also received tons of compliments on how helpful / customer-service oriented the L'Auberge staff was - especially the valet team - the definition of white glove service!! They even took the time to remember all the names of our wedding party! That made everyone feel really special. The banquet captain was also unbelievably helpful and attentive - making sure everything went smoothly and our guests were fed and happy! All in all, I can't recommend this venue highly enough. I am so thankful that we were able to have our special day in such a beautiful setting - getting ready in the suite while drinking coffee (and mimosas!) on the balcony, walking down the aisle of the pacific terrace to say "I Do" with the backdrop of the blue ocean, sipping a cocktail on the sunset terrace, enjoying our world class dinner under the market lights at sunset, dancing to wild music in the ballroom and sipping champagne by the waterfountain - all the while enjoying the views, sounds and salty sweet smell of the Pacific Ocean. My husband and I got married here on 8/6/16. The venue is gorgeous, and all our guests were raving about it the entire afternoon. We chose to have the ceremony in Seagrove Park, which is a really awesome option the hotel allows even though they don't technically own the park. Our first planner, Allie, was fantastic in helping us get started and pick out our vendors, and then when she took a different role, Catherine took over from her with no hiccups at all and made sure everything came together perfectly. 10/10, would do it again and recommend to anyone else wanting an oceanfront wedding in southern California.

Everyone said my wedding day would be the best day of my life and they were all correct. I was only able to have such an amazing wedding day because I had the support of Dalice Huffman and her dedicated staff. Dalice helped me plan along the way, but the day of the wedding I was extremely impressed with her organization, attention to detail, and composed demeanor. She was so prepared and aware of my needs that it always seemed like she was two steps ahead of me. Dalice was so on it that I was able to just relax and enjoy my day. The L'Auberge staff was more than welcoming. From the day I arrived they treated my family and me with warmth and respect. During the wedding they were extremely attentive and tried to make sure my guest and I were having a fantastic time. I really appreciate everyone at L'Auberge for giving me the best day of my life.

We loved L'Auberge back in August of 2014 when we were looking at venues. L'Auberge was the only venue that allowed us to outdoors from 4:30-8pm that included our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We made multiple trips down to SD to make sure all details were covered. We worked closely with Adele and she helped us get everything we asked for. She was there the day of the wedding and worked closely with my wedding coordinator and other vendors. She got us a few last minute things the day off and checked in with my husband and I on multiple occasions. We didn't to extend out stay so they honored our room block rate which was amazing. The staff was so professional and always willing to help. They also decorated out suite with rose petals, champagne and some desserts from out wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We plan to go back next year on our anniversary. :)

My husband and I were married at L'Auberge on Saturday, October 18th. From start to finish we had the MOST wonderful experience. L'Auberge is a first-class establishment. I can say from first-hand experience that we truly felt that we got what we paid for (plus more). L'Auberge made us feel like royalty, I have never received such great hospitality. ELIZABETH GALLOWAY was our wedding manager and she was absolute perfection - most organized woman I have ever met (and I am SUPER type-A!) We couldn't have been happier with Elizabeth and all of the hard work she put in (it showed!) Elizabeth comes off extremely experienced, polite, but still able to move a crowd along and get the job done! The night went off without a single hitch. Each and every L'Auberge staff member was so friendly; our guests were telling us all weekend how wonderful the bartenders, servers, valet, front-desk, etc. were. Shout-out to HECTOR, our banquet captain, he was superb...such a wonderful guy and made my husband and I feel taken-care of the entire weekend. I hope I am not forgetting anyone! Oh, and the food was magnificent, everything was cooked perfectly. The Chef even came out to introduce himself to us and our guests. How cool is that!?!! These are the little things that make clients feel appreciated. Thank you, L'Auberge from the bottom of our hearts for the most perfect wedding weekend...we couldn't have dreamed for anything better. The word that will always come to mind when we think of L'Auberge is "CLASS". We can't wait to return on our anniversary!!!

I grew up in Del Mar and have always been very familiar with L'Auberge. We decided against using the Pacific Terrace because our wedding was too small, but the staff was absolutely terrific in helping us put together our dream wedding in a more appropriate space. It was unforgettable, and we couldn't have imagined using any other venue.

The venue is absolutely stunning. We fell in love with it the first time we saw it, just had to figure out how to pay for it. It is expensive, but it is totally worth it. The view is amazing and out guests have gone on and on about how beautiful of a location we chose. They provide a wedding planner and Krissie did an absolutely incredible job. The day went perfectly and was exactly how I envisioned. I would do it all over again exactly the same.

From the moment we arrived, EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful! Our Wedding planner Krissie took care of everything, I really didn't have to worry. The day was beautiful and more than I could have imagined thanks to L'Auberge! Our wedding party all commented that it was the most relaxing wedding they had ever been too!!

Everything about L'Auberge was amazing. The location, the food, the service. Krissie and the wedding coordination staff are so awesome. They definitely work hard for you and help you get everything you want while helping you stay in budget. I had so many guests tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been too. They truly made my day amazing beyond expectation. I highly highly recommend

I can't say enough good things about L'Auberge. First off all the view and the hotel itself is gorgeous! The staff was extremely helpful as well. We were assigned a person from the hotel to work with to plan the wedding day. She allowed us to customize our options so that they would fit into our budget. She assisted us every step of the way, and was very flexible and accommodating when we changed our minds and switched details around. Everything went smoothly the day of the wedding and the hotel staff was great about checking with us to make sure all of our needs were being met. Lastly, the food was amazing! We would fly out to Del Mar just to eat the coffee crusted buffalo!!

If you are looking for an inviting, elegant venue then L'Auberge is It. our wedding was an absolute dream come true.

I had my wedding and ceremony at L'Auberge on their roof top Pacific Terrace. It was fabulous. The ocean view, the food, the service. Alison, the catering manager, did an excellent job of orchestrating this event. She answered my multitude of questions and worked within my budget. Perfect location.

Beautiful location, Krissie is so sweet, the food was good and the service was amazing!!
