Laurabbeauty LLC offers freelance hair and makeup services for weddings and other events. Owner and lead hairstylist/makeup artist Laura is confident in her ability to make her clients feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. This professional and talented artist strives to deliver an unforgettable and enjoyable experience to her clientele on their special day. Laura has worked in the beauty industry for over 13 years. She has trained with some of the industry's leading hairstylists and makeup artists. She has a passion for bridal hair and makeup and has had the opportunity to have worked with many wonderful couples on their special day. She is honored to be a part of her client’s special day and is dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience and customized looks. Laura understands how important it is to get to know her client and their sense of style to ensure that the look reflects their personality. An initial consultation with this artist will allow you to discuss your visions and ideas for the event and can be followed up by a hair and/or makeup trial. She has a strong passion for multicultural weddings. Laurabbeauty offers on-location hair and makeup services up to 45 miles outside of Minneapolis within Minneaota and provides all of the equipment (unless specified) so that all you need to worry about is enjoying your big day!

e! Both Laura and her assistants listened to myself and my bridesmaids throughout the whole process, giving us expert advice and helping us to decide on styles that we were really happy with. I appreciated how Laura offered more natural styles and worked with me to find a look that felt "me" (I don't wear makeup or style my hair often). She is such a wonderful person and I can't recommend her enough!

amount of coverage & didn’t leave me feeling super beautiful. So for the wedding day, I had her use my own foundation so I could feel my best. My bun ended up falling apart during the reception of my wedding. My hair accessories didn’t stay in after the ceremony because they weren’t secured enough. In terms of personality, Laura is more shy & reserved, so I wouldn’t recommend for someone who is in need of more guidance. Some of my bridesmaids were unhappy with how their hair & makeup turned out as well.

enue instead of having to consider timing to and from a salon. They ran almost an hour ahead of schedule which, personally, I thought was great so that any other last minute hiccups could be taken care of if needed before the ceremony. We all also got small portions of our lip color to reapply as needed which was super helpful for pictures and after eating at the reception. Laura is super easy to contact and chat with and such a nice person. I will definitely be recommending her and her services to anyone I know who needs make up or hair services done!

up look and since I wear glasses, was able to make my eyes standout in the pictures. We did a romantic updo for my hair with a hair band...it made me feel like a princess. I danced a lot and my hair and makeup were great throughout the night. The other two women that helped did amazing work on the ladies in my bridal party and everyone was ready in time for pictures. Enough time was allotted but they all worked very efficiently. Highly recommend!!!

run! She also was able to do my hair just by looking at a picture of what I wanted. For the wedding day, she created a schedule for me and my bridesmaids for hair and makeup and it was great. She’s super organized and so nice! Laura and her team were amazing and everyone’s hair and makeup looked amazing. One of her hair stylists Alyson was also super patient with our squirmy flower girl! Hello! My name is Laura. I am based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have been in the beauty industry for over 13 years and have extensive education and training with some of the industry's leading hairstylists and makeup artists. I have a passion for bridal hair and makeup and have had the opportunity to have worked with hundreds of wonderful brides, working on location at a number of venues including the Hewing Hotel, the Hutton house and the The Minikahda Club. Our team offers on location hair and makeup sercices for up to 45 miles outside of Minneapolis. I look forward to working with you!
