My daughter was married at LLCC a month ago and the experience was just what she hoped for.
The recently redesigned outdoor space for the ceremony was great (beautiful arch with landscaping), and the dining area, bar, and expansive wrap around porch with views of the greens and trees were perfect. Plenty of space and guests could move freely between the dining room and dancefloor, the bar area and the porch. The owner personally escorted the bride and groom (and their photographer) after the ceremony for a photo session on the grounds.
We recently got Married at Laurel Lane on Sept 2nd and could not recommend it more. From the food to the beautiful grounds it was amazing. The staff was wonderful as well.
We had the most wonderful wedding at Laurel Lane Country Club on 6/18/2022 with 110 guests. Dale was super accommodating throughout the process. We came just to try the food before picking Laurel Lane officially and the food was phenomenal. Jose cooks large portions with fantastic quality. The steak was by far a favorite, and the pasta aioli was also fabulous. Dale kept in touch by email and phone call throughout the planning process. She was helpful in lending centerpiece materials and providing insight.
Our guests had a fabulous time and raved about the location. The greenery of the golf course outside was perfect, especially towards sunset. Dale recommended a location for outdoor pictures, which turned out to be great with a small garden and archway on the course. The wrap around porch was great to take a break from dancing, take pictures with the beautiful greenery in the background, and chat with guests.
Dale closed Rudy's Bar and Grille - the restaurant for the golf course - earlier in the day so our guests would be able to use the bar area for the cocktail hour. The bartenders were attentive, and diligent about ensuring guests were okay.
The reception area was phenomenally put together. The staff laid the tablecloths, napkins, silverware, and bread plates beforehand so we could add our special centerpiece touches the night before the wedding. This was helpful in making the day of the wedding less stressful. My mother-in-law was able to come by and put together last minute decorations on-site.
The actual reception was great in terms of timing, drinks, the food was phenomenal (I thoroughly enjoyed my sirloin steak, potatoes, and green beans), and the staff was very attentive to guests.
Thank you for such an amazing experience and for all of the support throughout the process.!
We had the wedding of our dreams at Laurel Lane on 7/10/21. Dale and her team were the best! They were so accommodating and helpful after having to reschedule two times because of Covid. They are great to work with. Dale helped me every step of the way. The food is great. The venue is beautiful. I want to relive that day again and again. Thank you Dale and Joe!
We had our wedding at Laurel Lane and were completely satisfied. We planned our wedding in only five months and Dale and the staff were great throughout the whole process. The food was fantastic. Not only were the prices reasonable but the portions were plentiful and the food was delicious.
We had our wedding reception at Laurel Lane. Dale, their event coordinator, was amazing. Always responsive to my questions and went above and beyond to make our day perfect and stress free. The food was great and accommodated our family allergies well! Can not recommend enough!
The staff work together among themselves and with any other vendors flawlessly to make the day run smoothly. They are very accommodating and strive to help tailor the day to the individual couple. Also the food is phenomenal, and both the outdoor and indoor ceremony and reception spaces are beautiful!
Awesome time, thanks so much! Beautiful wedding, everything was perfect, best decision in choosing Laurel Lane Country Club for my wedding. My guests had such a good time. The Staff went above and beyond for my guests, there was really nothing to do, the staff took care of everything. My husband and I relaxed, ate delicious food and drank champagne with our guests and danced all night! Thanks for making it the best day of our lives!
Laurel Lane was the perfect location for our wedding. Kim, Judy and the rest of her staff went above and beyond to make our day special. My groom arrived early to set up the room, and they helped him along the way. They even let him use some of the fall décor that was already there as part of our receiving table (we underestimated its size). They always made sure we were well hydrated and comfortable, including bringing us some appetizer to the bridal room while we decompressed from the ceremony. The venue is gorgeous, from the hardwood dance floor pattern to the greens and garden for the outdoor ceremony. The club is set far from the main road, so no car sounds or anything like that. Their food is amazing too! Chicken marsala and steak tips were our pick, and they were delicious. All in all, I would give them more stars if I could. If they made your list, pick them, you will be happy you did!
We used Laurel Lane CC as our wedding venue and reception. We are easy going and like just going with the flow, either they are the same or we rubbed off, but it ended up being absolutely the best day we had, and will continue to be for a very long time.
Only 1 wedding there per day, this is a bonus, we got in early (by we I mean me, "Can't see the bride", or something like that) set up and had plenty of time to grab lunch and just relax. Kim & staff were easy to work with the day of, helped with all the logistics: golf carts to transport bride and father, ceremony line up, set up, didn't matter, we asked and we got, if they offered and we didn't want it, it was gone, simply as that.
Bridal room is downstairs and was a nice retreat after the ceremony to calm down, have some time alone and actually eat some of the hors d'oeuvres. Golfers are directed to a different bar so as not to interfere with your wedding and at one point I think we hijacked on of their carts (which the golfer was fine with) for pictures.
Paid up front for an open cocktail hour and they kept me up to date on where I stood and once it was over I was informed so my guests would know.
Food? yea they got it! Beef tenderloin & chicken marsala were out of this world, delmonico potatoes, broccoli and shells...check! Get the stuffed mushrooms for your cocktail hour. They even offered to add to their bar if we wanted something special (we didn't, and probably want to give early notice so they can stock it)
Scenery, they got that too! we picked October and got the full color day (This is subject to weather, we consider ourselves to be very lucky on that day) the venue is set well off the road so plenty of trees, open fairway, flowers and no outside noise.
I could keep going, but in the end we got more than we could have ever asked for. If you are in doubt, or this venue has cracked your "top choice" list then go ahead and give them the call, if you use my review as your basis for your decision then I expect you to treat Laurel Lane with the kind of respect & easy going attitude I did, you'll get the return on your investment 10 fold.
Wow, we were married here on August 30, 2014 and I would not hesitate to have any event here nor would I hesitate to recommend Laurel Lane to anyone. Kim, the manager was kind, efficient and excited to talk to us about our wedding and her staff was exceptional. We were married outside at the practice green and we were married with Black Eyed Susans, red Roses and blue Hydrangeas in our background. It was beautiful!
Kim kept us track with our wedding and she kept me on track with my planning. We failed to have a rehearsal dinner and it wasn't needed because Kim and Judy, and their exceptional staff showed their wedding expertise and guided us through the whole process.
The food, oh the food, was fabulous! To this day I have guests from our wedding compliment the food that Laurel Lane served. I recommend the steak tips and the mixed vegetables!
The bartenders were great and they were fun and interacted with our guests. The hall was beautiful and elegant and we didn't need to spend a lot of money on decorations and we didn't - the hall is beautiful and elegant on its own.
I recommend Laurel Lane and will keep recommending it to anyone that asks me. Kim and Judy were exceptional and they possess an expertise in weddings. I highly recommend Laurel Lane and the staff there. We were considering getting married in the winter but didn't want to wait but I bet the reception would be stunning. I will answer any questions anyone has so reach out to me if you want to.
I am reviewing this venue everywhere I can in hopes of keeping other people from making the mistake that I did. DO NOT use the Laurel Lane Country Club.
I almost feel bad writing this review because I myself had a really great experience. However, as I found out from guests when I got back from my honeymoon, my husband and I were the exception.
Going up the wedding I had nothing but positive experiences. Kim was very helpful and the staff was so nice. They even dealt with some family issues in a professional and kind manner.
The trouble started with the wedding day itself. After the ceremony, Judy came into the bridal suite and demanded me to pay up on a $500 tab that they said my husband had opened. After a bit of arguing, Kim came down and dealt with it and told us not to worry. The thing is, none of the groomsmen nor my husband heard the staff say anything about opening a $500 tab. Only the staff seemed to hear it.
When I got back from my honeymoon, I heard that people had their champagne taken away because we didn’t do a toast. After calling a few people, I found out that half of my guests were either given empty glasses or none at all. (Including my mom!)
I had also paid for unlimited soft drinks for my guests but found out that people were being charged at the bar for sodas.
All in, the Laurel Lane Country Club charged $1016.93 for the toast and soda bar which were not provided to my guests. I called to get my money back and was laughed off and told no.
They cited the bar tab, saying they had paid for that, but that was their mistake and not mine. They called one of my guests disgusting and told me my wedding was the reason they didn’t want to work any more weddings.
I am so disappointed in the end result of my wedding. Guests left feeling like they had a been a burden and were not treated well.
So even though it all started awesome, my wedding ended horribly. This is a gorgeous venue, but trust me that the beauty is only skin deep.
I chose Laurel Lane due to their price and beautiful venue as well as the fact that they only hold one wedding at a time. The first few months were tough as they changed wedding cooridnators three times and we had to go over everything with the venue three times. One of these times being a month before the wedding. However, in the end it worked out perfectly. The food was good the staff was friendly and the prices good. We were also able to set up our room as we wanted and set up our own centerpeices the day before the wedding. I would reccommend them and believe that they now have their cooridinator problems all set.
My husband and I don't play golf, so it was only because I happened to come across the Laurel Lane listing on TK that we ever considered this hidden gem for our wedding venue. We had our wedding here in July, 2011 and could not have been happier with everything!
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, with sprawling greenery and well manicured greens/flowers/trees and a beautiful white, newly-renovated clubhouse. Jim and Lauren, the coordinators/managers, are absolutely amazing. They worked with us to manage all of our many, many details of our somewhat complicated wedding. From accommodating the multiple parts of the ceremony for a Jewish wedding to jugging an outside Kosher caterer in addition to their in-house catering to coordinating drop-off and set-up of Edible Arrangements as our table centerpieces to keeping our envelope box and gifts safe until the end of the night, Jim and Lauren did an amazing job.
In terms of the facilities, they have a bridal room downstairs where you can change/leave items (not the most secure, but nobody stole anything from the room). If you have over 100 people at your wedding, you get the entire top floor of the clubhouse to yourself, which includes the reception room, a bar/lounge in an adjacent room, the spacious deck/patio with tables/chairs, and exclusive use of the upstairs restrooms, so you can put guest bathroom baskets in them. The outdoor ceremony location is a practice putting green, which sounds funny, but is absolutely beautiful, with a small brick area in front of beautifully manicured flowering bushes as the ceremony backdrop. They also have a very large white tent that they use for golf tournaments that can be used for the ceremony, in case of inclement weather. There are likely to be golfers on the course and in the downstairs bar/restaurant area during the wedding, but we didn't notice them at all.
The food was delicious, the staff was extremely professional and courteous, and the price was incredibly reasonable. We really could not have asked for anything more for our wedding, and if we had to do it all over again, we would absolutely choose Laurel Lane again.
