Hello, my name is Victoria Bonaiuto and I am the owner of Lavish. Growing up, in my culture it was known to always go above and beyond for every event. With that being said I was dragged to every birthday party, baby shower, quincenera, wedding and more but lucky for me, I loved every second of it! It was our way of showing that individual that they are appreciated and loved and that same passion was passed down to me. I began my own cake pop business that soon turned into incorporating decor set up, full dessert tables and then finally starting my very own event planning business, Lavish!

Do NOT hire this company. Our experience with Rafael, Shayla, and A Lavish Event Design was absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply upsetting. If you're planning a wedding or special event, I urge you to read this before trusting them with your time, money, or memories.
We hired them for our March 2025 wedding in the Florida Keys and spent months carefully planning a tropical floral design, including very specific elements like amaranthus, orchids, and anthurium for our chuppah that mentioned in the contract it should be 40% or more bright green amaranthus. We paid them thousands of dollars for a contract that clearly outlined our vision. On the day of the wedding, we were shocked to see completely different flowers—roses, of all things—used across my bouquet, aisle florals, and chuppah. Not only were these not what we selected or paid for, but they didn’t remotely match our agreed-upon aesthetic or contracted for flowers, outlined by name. They did not communicate this until approximately 15 mins before i walked down the aisle.
Even worse than the bait-and-switch was the response we received. Rafael, the co-founder, refused to speak to me after the wedding. 5 days later when I was finally able to get him on the phone, he proceeded to scream at me for over 30 minutes—telling me my preferences were “tacky” and that he didn’t like my inspiration. He told me directly (and yes, I have the recorded call) that he decided to change the florals to match his preferences because what he delivered was “similar enough.” That’s not just insulting, it’s profoundly unprofessional and unethical. He maintained that his contract allows for this. I have consulted a lawyer and it does not.
No one on their team informed us ahead of time that they were planning to substitute anything—there was zero communication or attempt to discuss alternate options. And after the event, they stopped replying entirely and blocked our phone numbers, refusing to acknowledge any wrongdoing or offer a resolution.
The flowers they used were not just incorrect—they were significantly cheaper and not aligned with the contract we signed. This isn’t just a case of a business making a mistake—it’s a case of a vendor knowingly ignoring a client’s wishes and doing what they wanted instead.
Please, do not give your money to A Lavish Event Design. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone, especially not during one of the most important moments of your life.

Victoria was a fantastic day-of planner. From the start, she was flexible and able to assist us with the wedding timeline to ensure the day ran smoothly. There was a city wide power outage the week of our wedding causing multiple last minute changes, Victoria was instrumental in making sure all vendors were communicated with and the wedding didn’t miss a beat. Highly recommend Victoria!

I hired Victoria for her "Day Of" package and I could not have been more satisfied! She was exactly what I had hoped for. She was very responsive from the first call until the day of; she communicated well through her customer portal, email, and text. Previous to our wedding, my husband and I had been bridesmaids/groomsmen in many other weddings so we knew it was super important to us that our bridal party didn't have to do anything for setup/teardown because we wanted to spend the precious time with them celebrating and making memories. She showed up early, checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, set up everything perfectly, and gathered all of our personal items at the end of the night. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and professionalism when during the reception I was notified that my friend who was supposed to take our personal items home fell ill. We quickly pivoted finding another friend who was willing to help and Victoria offered to drive her home at the end of the night so the totes didn't have to get loaded into an Uber.

Victoria and her team went above & beyond for our wedding! It was incredibly helpful to have her assistance and expertise to ensure our day went off without a hitch and we had little to no worries day-of the wedding. I can't recommend it enough, especially with her price point!!

Victoria and Anthony are absolute wizards and witches of wedding planning and decorating! They turned our vision into an extraordinary reality, and the result was absolutely MAGICAL. From start to finish, they were incredible—thoughtful, creative, and totally dedicated to making our day perfect. They handled every detail with such confident expertise that we were able to relax and fully enjoy our wedding without a single worry. Wedding planning was stressful but without their help it would've been impossible. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how stunning everything looked. Victoria was wonderful! She made navigating our special day so easy and was such an important part of us being able to fully enjoy the day. She also did an exceptional job of coordinating random things that came up on the fly. Victoria went above and beyond especially on the day of our rehearsal. Our officiant did not show up to our rehearsal so Victoria stepped up and ran the rehearsal. This was so helpful in keeping our parties from getting frustrated and everyone left the rehearsal feeling prepared for wedding day. We would recommend Victoria to anyone for their big day!

Victoria from Lavish Events Design & Coordination was my month - day of planner and she was incredible. She directed everything perfectly, made sure we ate, drank water, and kept everything moving! She was out there with us in 88° weather, directing our ceremony while being mere weeks away from her due date! Vicki is awesome!!! She was so dedicated in helping me with my DIY wedding! She gave me ideas & advice all while helping me to stay on track for our big day! She aided me in shopping and all my DIY projects! She also had our hall looking TOP NOTCH! Mind you my husband and I decided to have a wedding in late June & got married in August of the same year! Victoria was an amazing day of coordinator. She was extremely flexible, and worked with us through a venue chance due to covid 19. She picked up my flowers for me (saving me a $60 fee!), helped reload our Polaroid camera, dried off our bands equipment with towels during a rainstorm, and so much more! It was a huge relief to have her there, so that my husband and I could relax and enjoy our day. If it weren’t for her, that burden would have been placed on my family- so I really appreciate her help! She was also very organized and managed our other vendors, even with a unique parking situation. Thanks Victoria!!

Let me start by saying no amount of words can describe the great job Victoria did for me or the amount of help she was. I highly recommend to anyone looking. Stop your search and book with her and Lavish Events!
To go into some detail, she helped with the entire planning process, the rehearsal process and everything day of wedding.
I had so many ideas for my wedding day. I’m typically the party planner in my family and there was a point where wedding planner was not something I was willing to do. But as time went on, I learned that it would be impossible to make sure the wedding went smoothly and my vision came to life without another person like me. Victoria was that person.
She met with me several times pre-wedding to go over my vision and request, she met with me a few times to help me shop, she even bought things on her own and asked if I would like to use them (of course, she nailed my vision down).
On rehearsal day she was there to make sure everything stayed on track. She came up with ideas for walking down the aisle, even gave the fathers (I walked down with 2) instructions on who to hug first so it did not look like complete chaos up there. Kept the little ring bearers and flower girls occupied after their big role. Without her there our rehearsal when have been al over the place and lasted twice as long.
On wedding day, she helped to coordinate with all the vendors, made all my last minute payments for me, set up, tore down, directed everything. She kept us on schedule and let us know when we were going over our time for photos. And she did it in the most supportive way. She told all the bridesmaids to make sure they came to here with problems and to leave me out of it. We had outfit changes that she helped with as well. She was even nice enough to make sure we got food, drinks and appetizers from happy hour, and dinner. She kept them to the side and kept them warm while we were running around.
Wedding day went so fast, it was a blur. If it wasn’t for her it would have been a chaotic blur and I would probably have been hungry, thirsty and overwhelmed.
I was able to relax and enjoy my day. She made my day perfect. At the end of the day I was able to just leave my venue and she had everything taken down, and stored until I was able to get it. Did I mention I would have probably looked horrible too? She came to me several times to offer small items, chapstick, lipgloss, mint, to fix my hair or dress. She was amazing.
She even met with me after the wedding to return my items and ask me how everything went.
In summary if you didn’t feel like reading all of that and wanted to skip to the end, she was perfection. Not one complaint. She is creative, professional, sweet yet stern, responsible, affordable, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make sure the bride and everyone involved in the wedding has a great time. Look no further, you found your planner! Thank you Victoria for everything.
Oh, and I loved her so much I recommended her to my cousin for a sweet 16 she was throwing and she did not disappoint with that either. She does it all!

Victoria blew me away the day of our wedding. I have seen her work at a few weddings before but on our wedding day she was incredible. We wouldn’t have had our day go so smooth if it weren’t for her. She met with me days prior to go over the day and pick up a few boxes of items for the wedding. Then the day of she got there and immediately busted her butt. It was a day of chaos and crazy but you wouldn’t know cause she didn’t stop going and doing EVERYTHING we asked her to do and do things on her own. She set up, tore down, communicated with each vender. She even recorded our ceremony for us. I cannot thank her enough for the amount of work she put in for our day. She is the sweetest person you’ll ever met and she puts her heart into her work. I made our decorations and I had a picture in my mind of how it would look together... she made it look exactly what I pictured and more. I gave her such little direction and she somehow managed to get it perfect. I still don’t know how! I was never so scatter minded in my life until our wedding and she allowed me to be able to relax and see my image come to life. Thank you for a perfect day,Victoria!! I love you! ❤️
