My husband and I got married on 2-17-24. We loved ever single detail 413 on wacouta had to offer. The unique design of the ceilings, walls, chandelier’s were absolutely stunning. Also, it was really nice having the ceremony and reception in the same building. We worked with Victoria on event details and much more. She is amazing to work with and made sure that she was always available. Victoria also, made sure our event stayed in track and organized in the way that I preferred. I definitely recommend this venue.
413 on Wacouta is such an amazing venue and it was perfect for our wedding! The building has so much character we really didn’t need to do a ton of extra decorating and just let the spaces shine. It has a very Beauty and the Beast, speakeasy vibe which made for a beautiful and romantic setting. We had a little over 100 people which I felt fit the space well. Victoria is so much fun and was really wonderful to work with also! She sent photos and videos she had taken throughout the day and was such an asset in ensuring our day was special and ran smoothly. 10/10 I highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate, romantic downtown setting with a ton of charm!
413 on Wacouta is such an amazing venue and it was perfect for our wedding! The building has so much character we really didn’t need to do a ton of extra decorating and really just let the spaces shine. Victoria was so wonderful to work with as well and really went above and beyond to help ensure our day ran smooth. She was very professional and was always quick to respond to our questions prior to the day. 10/10 I highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate, romantic downtown setting with a ton of charm!
I had the best day having my wedding at 413 on Wacouta!! The event coordinator, Victoria, was responsive, helpful, and a blast to work with! She and her team went above and beyond to make our day so special. The venue itself was a perfect size and layout for everyone to have fun, dance, and move between the ceremony and reception. It was nice to have a getting ready area that was private. And omgsh the rooftop photos were such a fun experience. 10/10
This venue and the team that works there are fantastic! Communication was clear and timely with the team. The venue itself is gorgeous and does not need many decorations. Not to mention the multiple places you can get photos taken nearby and in the building. Highly recommend for a wedding or any larger event you would host!
I know most reviews are wonderful, but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience. We had 4 different planners from initial booking though night of and it felt like our needs fell through the cracks. We had 160 and it was beyond tight, I don’t know how they would ever fit 200 people in the venue like the advertise. The venue was also sweltering from the moment we walked in. Our cupcake and cakes were bleeding and guests were sweating just eating dinner. When asked if something could be done we felt very brushed off and like we were an nuisance to the coordinator for having a question. Overall from the planning to the day of it wasn’t a good fit. Based on our experience I would not recommend booking a wedding here.
The venue itself has a speakeasy vibe we loved. It was affordable and included all of the things we were looking for. We loved all of the photo opportunities (the building has beautiful exposed brick, and Mears park is right around the corner). We especially loved the rooftop and skyline photos. Victoria, the venue manager, was so accommodating and helpful. She helped us organize a micro ceremony in the reception space, helped set up, and even captured and shared pictures and videos of our day with us. She went above and beyond to help make our day special and individualized to us.
Beautiful space and the staff is fantastic!! Our venue manager, Victoria M., was a dream to work with - she made everything so easy! Our ceremony involved the transportation and set up of a large amount of personal items and Victoria found a way to make it happen in the time needed, even on a holiday weekend. She also helped document the day, which was a surprise to me and it was so lovely to receive her photos and videos the next day. The actual ceremony was a blur so it was such a gift to be able to experience it through the media she sent over. This venue is an elegant and historic space, very affordable especially in today's economic climate, they were one of the only venues that was willing to let us do ceremony only as we had an offsite reception, and the staff is just fantastic! I highly recommend!
Not only is the venue stunning and affordable, Victoria, the venue manager, goes above and beyond for her clients. She did way more than we could have ever dreamed of to help make our day perfect. If you are looking for a good spot to have a smaller, more intimate wedding and want excellent care and attention, this is the spot!
413 on Wacouta turned out to be the perfect place for our reception. Victoria was easy to work with, responsive, and went above and beyond her expected duties. She helped relieve much of the wedding planning stress. We received many compliments on the ambiance and food at the reception. We have great memories of the day and are forever thankful of the part the venue and staff played.
Victoria and 413 on Wacouta are absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with choosing this venue for our special day. First of all, the ceremony and reception happened in the same place so we didn't have to worry about transferring anywhere - huge plus! Secondly, we are huge fans of St. Paul and being able to have roof access to take photos with the St. Paul skyline was so perfect. Everything went smoothly and Victoria was a huge help on our day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a great go-to person. The venue is absolutely beautiful - very good St. Paul vibes! We will always recommend this venue and Victoria to anyone!
My husband and I recently held our wedding and reception in 413’s event space. We absolutely loved the warm feeling the lighting and atmosphere brought to our day. Victoria was the absolute best to coordinate with throughout our planning stages and most importantly, on our big day! I would definitely recommend this venue to other couples and if it were possible to do it all over again we’d choose to get married here every time.
I am so glad we went with 413. We struggled to find a venue that fit a smaller guest list. We knew we were not going to have a +200 guest list wedding, so we really wanted a venue that fit our guest list better. Plus, everything was wheelchair accessible for my husbands sister which was a MUST. We had a July wedding, and we knew the weather can be so unpredictable, so having the reception and ceremony in one building was perfect. Our coordinators, Victoria and Olivia, were incredibly helpful with everything. They helped us with every bump in the road we encountered, and I would 100% choose them again.
We got switched the the 413 four months before our wedding because our original venue changed its construction dates. I didn't even see the venue until about 2 months before the wedding in person. Victoria was very helpful and even gave out her personal cell number for ease of contact. The wedding was almost completely seamless and we liked it better then our original venue, so that forced change was actually a blessing. Also there was a super nice and helpful cater employee I think named Cole who made me as a bride feel very special.
Victoria, Tia, and the venue/catering staff BLEW ME AWAY. When choosing a venue, its imperative that the team behind it is communicative, organized, and works well with other vendors. As a vendor myself, I can say that this team does all of that wonderfully. They're responsive, think ahead, and even considered little things about my job, like how certain lights may flicker on my video, and adjusted accordingly. Book 413, and everything else will fall into place.
We had an amazing experience here! Victoria was so pleasant to work with and made sure our day was perfect. It was wonderful from beginning to end and Victoria was beyond helpful the day of our wedding making sure it all went smooth. It was the perfect venue with everything being in one building. The reception area catered to all of our guests with the dance floor being on one side and tables and seating were able to be left on the other side so guests could still chat and mingle during the dance if they preferred. We still get compliments on how fun our wedding was!
413 on Wacouta is fantastic venue. With a super unique "vintage meets city" aesthetic, great food and a friendly staff, it's really hard to beat. Victoria is phenomenal to work with and takes great care of guests and vendors alike. I'd highly recommend this venue.
As a photographer I loved being able to look at this venue! Victoria was so helpful with showing the space and giving an overview of what 412 on Wacouta has to offer! Such an amazing tour guide and showed professionalism as well as knowledge. There is also a perfect mix on vintage and city elegance that this venue has. Also the roof top for private post Ceremony pics is AMAZING!
413 on Wacouta has such history in St.Paul that it should be everyone’s downtown go to venue! The original limestone in the ballroom is so unique while the ceremony suite offers a clean, simple, yet elegant style! Having worked with Victoria, the venue manager, you can tell she works hard to give her clients an event to remember! 100% recommend!
413 on Wacouta is such a gorgeous event space and the staff are a pleasure to work with. I planned a nonprofit organization's holiday party year and it was affordable on our limited budget but nothing short of a luxury experience. As others said, the space is cozy yet roomy, and we had ~140 guests who were able to comfortably mingle and browse the silent auction. There were a few items we needed to change at the last minute--literally as we set up the event--and Victoria was incredibly helpful and flexible in making sure that we had everything we needed. I would absolutely host another event here in the future.
Attended my Company's Holiday party at 413 Wacouta. What a cool place. The perfect size and place for our event. It was cozy yet roomy. Not your typical boring venue. The food was fabulous and the staff was amazing and very accommodating!
This venue space was absolutely beautiful and Victoria, the manager, was such a pleasure to work with. She was thorough, helpful and there for me every step of the way. She did a great job of coordinating the vendors and entertainment to make the planning process as easy as possible for me! Definitely recommend hosting your event at 413 on Wacouta!!
We were beyond pleased with our experience at the 413 on Wacouta. Not only did we fall in love with the venue, but we also got so lucky to work with Amber the former venue coordinator, and after she left we got the pleasure of working with Victoria on our big day. These two ladies made our day feel so special from the moment we met them and we cannot thank them enough! The place is not only beautiful but it felt intimate and yet spacious for the 85 guests at our wedding. Definitely recommend this venue and know you’re in good hands with Victoria!
We had our wedding at 413 on Wacouta this fall, and we were so happy with our experience. This venue had the cozy St Paul vibe we were seeking. The ceremony space was effortlessly beautiful. The reception space worked very well for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We took many of our photos at Mears Park, which is steps away from this venue, and we loved taking rooftop pictures at this venue. Communication with this venue was always easy. We would highly recommend this venue.
If you are looking for a romantic, intimate setting this is your venue! There is enough charm to the building that you don’t have to decorate much. The price is incredibly reasonable compared to other venues in surrounding areas. Victoria, our venue coordinator was an absolute dream to work with and she made our day flow so well! We received many compliments on how unique our venue was from all our guests. Highly recommend!
As soon as we walked into the 413 we knew we were going to get married here! The St. Paul charm was exactly what we were looking for. It sat 127 comfortably in the reception space. The event staff were helpful.
Great experience! The building and spaces are beautiful so we really only needed to have minimal decor. The location is a convenient walking distance to multiple hotels, so we didn't need to figure out transportation or anything.
Everything was clearly laid out in the contract, every fee and expectation so we knew exactly what was needed and when. They were responsive throughout the whole planning process to answer any questions.
All the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and organized. They thought ahead of time of all the important details and they were right there the whole night making sure everything ran smooth and everyone was taken care of.
Couldn't have had a better time! Highly recommend for a beautiful, timeless downtown St. Paul wedding.
We had our ceremony and reception here with about 135 people. It was great as I had family in wheelchairs and everything was accessible. This venue is so cost effective! It was less than $3k for ceremony AND reception which is unbeatable. Venue already looks so ornate and I had very simple and minimal decorations. Although responses were a little slow at times, Amber was great and helpful with information and decorating. The space for bride to get ready in is small and dark but we got ready for the most part at the hotel.
Everything was so perfect and we loved the space. I definitely would recommend this venue for other engaged couples❤️
Wow. This venue is amazing! We had roughly 130 people at our wedding and we were able to fit everyone comfortably. If you are looking for a venue that is capable of hosting both your ceremony and reception, this is definitely the one! We couldn't have been happier with the ceremony suite. It has such an intimate feel based on the layout of the room and the lighting, brick, and chandelier were just amazing (we saw some preview photos from our photographer and the room looks amazing). The bridal suite was really convenient and had plenty of room for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen! The reception hall in the basement is GORGEOUS! The exposed limestone foundations, uplighting, and wood beams were phenomenal! There was plenty of room for our guests and the dance floor is conveniently in a sort of alcove that allows people to dance while others are getting drinks/talking. It was a great venue and a great experience! The staff are really easy to work with as well! Would highly recommend!!
The venue was absolutely gorgeous. The brick walls gave the event a very classy feel. The organizer Brooke was so helpful. She made sure everything ran smoothly on the day that it matters most. Thank you to 413 on Wacouta for making my dream wedding come true!
413 on Wacouta is such a beautiful location for any couple to have their wedding! The event planners & staff are top of the tier! As a wedding photographer I enjoy the fun locations to photograph a couple like the rooftop and near by park.
This is such a St. Paul gem! I hosted a series of Pop-Up weddings for some great couples and it was perfect. Everyone needs Amber’s calm energy and care in their wedding day! Highly recommend!!
Beautiful venue. We loved both the reception room downstairs as well as the ceremony room. Rooftop access for pictures was a great bonus. The people here are very easy to work with. Brooke was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The location is fantastic. We loved being able to one block to Mears Park for pictures. I highly recommend this venue.
We can't express how perfect 413 on Wacouta was for our wedding! It was great to have the ceremony and reception all in the same building. Also, Amber did such an excellent job guiding us through the process, answering all of our questions, and helping us out on the day. Highly recommend this venue!
I couldn't have picked a more perfect venue! The staff at 413 are incredible, detail-oriented, friendly and responsive. From beginning the booking process all the way to the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and seamlessly, making our day day perfection! I highly recommend 413 for your special day.
Brooke went above and beyond. I couldn’t have imagined a better person to work with. The intimacy of the venue was perfect. Grateful we had the best day at 413.
We were very pleased with this venue for our ceremony and our reception. Brooke was responsive to all my questions and made sure that things went smoothly on the day of the wedding. I also liked the fact that I did not have to add too many details to the space to decorate since the building has its own character.
My husband and I absolutely love love this venue! It was exactly what we had imagine. Very urban industrial chic! The venue is absolutely beautiful with very minimal décor, which is exactly what we were looking for. Brooke did an amazing job ensuring that our night went smoothly. We couldn't be more please with this venue and their staff!
I first saw 413 at a wedding show 2 days after I got engaged on Valentines Day, 2020, and I knew right away it was going to be the perfect venue for us. We looked at others, but none gave us the same excitement! We specifically liked the location, many of our guests were coming from out of state and the venue is conveniently located to hotels, the green line, airport, etc. The Gilbert building was a beautiful backdrop for many photos & the chandeliers in the ceremony & reception space gave it that extra pop. It ended up raining on the day, so we did many photos inside & in the skyway. We haven't gotten them back yet, but the previews looked great :) We received many compliments on the beautiful reception & ceremony room- and we were also thrilled! Katie & Brooke were both amazing to work with. They were easy to get ahold of, flexible, organized, positive, and just awesome at what they do. Overall, a beautiful, convenient, & fun venue in Lowertown St. Paul & we couldn't be happier!
I was in love at first site. From the intimate chapel to the stone walls and chandeliers in the reception space! It was the epitome of romance. Offering both intimacy and style! Little did we(or anyone) know that a pandemic would hit and we would have to change plans do to a stay-at-home order. Renee and Sarah were more than gracious and accommodating to work with us and make our wedding the dream we had in mind despite the circumstances.
We could not love this space and staff more. Would highly recommend!!
My fiancé Katie and I fell in love with the Wacouta Event Center the moment we saw it! Like a new home, she was immediately envisioning our guests, decor, chairs, food, tables, flowers etc... in their places. As many others have stated in their reviews, the pandemic then hit and changed our original plans. However, Renee and team could not have been more accommodating to help make Katie’s and my day more beautiful than we could have hoped. Thank you again to everyone at the 413 on Wacouta Event Center!
As we entered the home stretch on our wedding day, the pandemic hit and we had to change everything we had planned including the venue. When we contacted 413 on Wacouta, it was a great experience from day one. We worked mostly with Sarah and she couldn't have been better! From showing us the space to helping us coordinate the night before and day of, we could not have had a better experience. We hired Keighla's Fresh Face Photography and she was incredible! Highly recommend going with both of these vendors because you will have ust as good of an experience as my wife and I did.
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at 413 on Wacouta last month. We could not have been happier with how smoothly our day went all thanks to Renee, Sarah, Amber, and Joan! They were so helpful and accommodating especially in the era of COVID. All of our guests continue to tell us it was one of the best wedding venues they have been. We would highly recommend 413!
I hosted an event at 413 on Wacouta in March 2020 just before covid shut down all events. The venue was perfect for my needs. I loved the real wood flooring and tin stamped ceiling tiles in the ceremony suite and the combination of modern and classic stylings. Renee was great to work with in the booking process and Nikita was super helpful on-site the day of my event. We loved having the lounge area just steps away from the ceremony suite with comfy couches and a secure area to stash our bags. For a downtown venue, there are decent parking options and the venue is easy to find for guests. I'll definitely be looking to host future events at 413 on Wacouta!!
This was a fantastic venue, old world charm and a "All in one" venue, Toni was a awesome help in making all of our day run smooth as silk! A great value, and a great team and amazing venue, we would not change using 413 for the world.
As an officiant I have been proud to officiate multiple times and also lead Marriage Enrichment Day Events at 413 on Wacouta in St Paul.
This is definitely a 5 star venue for couples with smaller weddings to larger weddings as well as other wedding related events. I offer this rating for a variety of reasons:
- Their staff is professional, courteous, so helpful and willing to assist with whatever is needed
- The historic building is super clean -- everything looks as you would want for your wedding day or related event.
- The wedding ceremony space is inviting and enchanting
- Convenient location with ample parking in a nearby lot
- Reserved parking for those 8 -10 guests or vendors who require being close
- Guests also appreciate the restrooms on the same floor as the ceremony space and the elevator to other levels.
Everything about this venue deserves a 5 star review.
Check it out and I promise you will feel embraced and cared about the moment you walk through the front door!
My husband and I booked with 413 back in the fall of 2018 when it was still under Britty’s management. Part way through our contract, a new company bought this venue out and we were a bit worried. In the peak of Covid, they updated the venue which made us nervous again as we loved the old charm of the venue. However, we did appreciate they called ahead of time to walk through the updates they would be doing and to see if we had any uncertainties. Once they were done with the updates my mom and I went to go see them and honestly I was even more in love with the venue! The updates modernized the venue while also keeping the old charm I loved. The ceremony room was also laid out in a way that felt much larger. Sarah who worked with us closely did an amazing job before the wedding and the day of to ensure things went smoothly and everything was set up. She was a huge help to my mom who did majority of the decorations. Having her there the day of to make sure things ran smoothly took off many responsibilities from myself, my friends, and family members allowing them to experience and enjoy the day more fully. If you are looking for a quaint downtown Saint Paul venue, this is the place! We absolutely loved our experience with 413. Our only feedback would be to have an email system that works a little more smoothly as often times my emails would go unseen with there being multiple emails.
The Grillo Wedding took place on September 26, and honestly I don't think it could have gone any better. Sarah and her team at 413 was amazing. They were always available for questions leading up to the event and onsite they were always eager to help with whatever was needed. Despite being in a global pandemic we felt completely comfortable and supportive during our wedding planning.
I am absolutely "piggy backing" off of Hannah's review. This venue is terrible!!! The owners do not care what-so-ever about the couples and are only money hungry. We booked here back when Britty still worked there and she was amazing, the other managers are unprofessional and do not communicate back with couples in a timely manner. We were informed of the renovations as they already started happening and not beforehand, Once the renos were done and we got to see it - we ended up not liking it at all anymore and the entire venue was different. We also had to pay a $500 change date fee in the middle of a pandemic which was absurd. They were not going to refund us our $2600 deposit and had no sympathy for the situation or anything. The only way we got our deposit back is because I kept an email stating they would refund my money if I didn't like the renos. Yay to me for keeping my emails, because they DO NOT CARE here. Run far away, don't let the pictures fool you.
We came to 413 on Wacouta for a tour to see this venue up close and personal in Summer 2019. My partner had attended an event here years earlier. Britty was a great host. We checked out date availability and costs and then departed; letting the information simmer in our brains. We loved everything about it but were still considering something much smaller as we were remarrying after widowhood.
Once we got engaged, we contacted 413 on Wacouta. Our wedding day of choice was still available! We have beautiful family and friends that wanted to celebrate with us; so our guest list expanded... turns out we needed a venue large enough to accommodate our group but with an intimate and elegant feel. 413 on Wacouta did not disappoint!! We had 3 months to plan and execute everything! The venue is so beautiful that very little decorations were needed. We chose Sterling Catering (Sarah) and we had Toni (413 on Wacouta) as our coordinator.
Oh.
My.
Goodness.
EVERYTHING went without a hitch.
These people know their stuff and leave NOTHING up to chance! We were communicated with in a timely fashion during the planning stage. They all took notes on what we wanted and how we wanted it. We never had to wait to have a question answered. As the bride, I thought that there might be something that was required of me on my wedding day. But EVERYTHING was taken care of!! We would HIGHLY recommend 413 on Wacouta for your wedding and/or your event. Be prepared to be spoiled!
-Jackie
This venue is AMAZING. Britty is phenomenal and Toni stayed through the end of the night to keep things going flawlessly. There is so little you need to bring in for decor because the venue itself is just gorgeous. The ceremony was timed out perfectly, and our rehearsal itself only took about 20 minutes altogether with Britty's clear and concise direction. I plan corporate events for a living, and let me tell you that Britty is the real deal in event planning and will make your lives so much easier during the wedding planning process!
I cannot recommend 413 highly enough. The space is so beautiful, you have to do very little decorating to make it wedding-ready, but if you want to decorate the staff there will help! I can't overstate what a weight it was off everyone's mind that we didn't have to assign a family or friend to setting up and taking down centerpieces.
Britty and her staff are so good at breaking down all the details of a wedding into something manageable. I was so anxious going into the details meeting, but all the stress was alleviated by the end.
They're just really great at doing all the logistical labor, before during and even a little bit after, so that everyone in attendance can just experience the wedding. Everything about our wedding day was perfect.
Britty and the staff at 413 on Wacouta made sure that my husband and I had an absolutely amazing wedding.
We were told by so many people that something will go wrong during the day, and only you will know. Well in our case the staff at 413 made sure that every little detail was exactly how we wanted it. Their level of professionalism and attention to detail truly is unparalleled.
In addition to the great staff, the venue truly is beautiful and doesn't require a bunch of dressing up. The amount of work effort we saved by picking this venue truly was invaluable.
I'd highly recommend that anyone is interested meet with Britty and the team to see if this venue is the right one for you on your special day.
There are so many amazing things I could write. Britty and her team were amazing. The venue is beautiful and rustic. Perfect for a smaller wedding. You won't be disappointed booking this venue!
Britty, Joan and Toni were the absolute best to work with, and booking 413 was the best wedding decision we made! The space (both ceremony and reception) is gorgeous and did not need any outside decorations - we got so many compliments! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and stress free, because Britty was on top of everything. I highly recommend!!
Our wedding day was beautiful and went off without a hitch because Britty and her crew at 413 on Wacouta are AMAZING!
From the moment we stepped into 413 on Wacouta and first met with Britty, my husband and I knew we would be in good hands. From advice about vendors to all of the behind the scenes schedule management - Britty was there for us 100%.
The space is beautiful and really speaks for itself. We made just enough decorations to accent what was already there. Otherwise, Britty's ability and willingness to adjust lighting and the floor plan to match our image of the day, made the space come alive.
Nothing can fully prepare you for the swirl of emotions felt on your wedding weekend, but my husband and I felt so secure and supported by Britty and her staff at 413 on Wacouta. We are beyond thankful for all they did for us and highly recommend them!
Tara & David
It was everything my husband and I were looking for. We wanted a charming building with character and 413 on Wacouta provided that. We didn’t need to worry about bringing in our own decorations or doing anything to change what was already there because it was already beautiful. We had some guests that needed handicap access and the elevator in the building made it so much easier for them and other guests to move between floors. The reception area is big enough to make it feel open and you can have conversation with the DJ playing but not so large we lost the intimate feeling we wanted.
Our wedding experience was truly magical thanks to the team at 413! Britty works with you every step of the way, ensuring that your expectations are met and opinions are heard while planning your wedding. She made it SO easy for us to be able to just enjoy our wedding day by being so organized and responsive.
413 on Wacouta event center is the ideal place to have everything (getting ready, ceremony, reception, pictures, etc) in one place. It's affordable, convenient and beautiful. Our friends and family members were blown away by the classy and fun atmosphere 413 offered. We would get married at 413 all over again! It really is the best place to get married in Saint Paul!
My wedding was absolutely amazing! Britty and her staff were phenomenal!
My husband and I just got married on Sunday at 413 on Wacouta & it was the BEST PLACE EVER!! The second we stepped foot in the building we knew it was perfect. The history of the building, the copper ceilings in the ceremony space and the exposed beams in the reception area were such a cool feel and made it unique. Britty was by far the most amazing person! She is so organized, on top of your vision and was so helpful with everything from the very first meeting. Not only was she our lifeline through the whole process and the day of, her staff was also amazing! The bartenders, the security & the other coordinator. Everyone made our day so wonderful and they made it run smoothly. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about this entire venue because it truly was perfect. Everyone attending raved how intimate and loving the ceremony space felt and how fun and unique the reception space was. Every detail about it blew us away!! I would recommend this space to everyone planning a wedding! The location was so convenient, the area is so fun and the space is stunning!! We even got to take pictures on the roof of the building which had an awesome view! And if you weren’t already convinced, this place has NO food or beverage minimums so they are the easiest to work with!!! They want to make sure your day is perfect and they truly accomplish that! We love 413 on Wacouta Event Center & you will too!!!
I got married at 413 On Wacouta and it was amazing!! The one great thing about the venue is that it is all in one location. The reason we chose the venue was because we fell in love with the ceremony room (you barely have to decorate it as it’s already beautifully set up) and loved the look of the reception space as well. Britty was also very great to work with. She returned my emails promptly and the planning process and day of went smoothly!! The one downfall in the reception area is only having one bathroom so many older guests had to wait or go up the elevator to the upstairs bathroom, otherwise it was great.
I would recommend this venue and wish I could experience the day all over again!!
My husband and I recently held our wedding at the 413 on Wacouta and it was an absolute dream. We were supposed to be getting married at Harriet Island Pavilion, but because of the flooding got a call 2 weeks before our wedding saying we needed to relocate. James found the 413 online and called Britty and from the first interaction we were hooked, hopeful, and relieved. Britty took our stressful situation and turned it into a wonderful dream. She responds back to emails extremely fast and was very kind and helpful in any and all ways. With our unique situation and the wedding being two weeks out she worked with all my vendors I had already booked and made the process enjoyable. She made me excited for my wedding!!! The venue is beautiful - the exposed brick, lighting, beautiful decor that is already in place, the chairs... it is a wonderful place. Her staff (especially Toni and Joan were AMAZING) and a joy to work with. Everyone was very involved and helpful... there was never any question about anything that was going on because they were already informed and aware. They helped with literally everything and my day wouldn’t have happened without them. I would suggest the 413 to anyone and am extremely grateful things worked out the way they did.
Without a doubt the best decision we made was to have our wedding at 413 on Wacouta. Britty and her staff are simply the best. From the moment we met, I knew it was the right fit. All of the vendor recommendations that we received from Britty were amazing, they spoke so highly of their experience working at 413 on Wacouta, and were genuinely excited to return to the venue, such reassuring feedback. Our wedding day was beautiful from start to finish. The day was so stress free and flawless, I truly couldn't have imagined it any better. I have received so many compliments on the venue, and the staff from my guests. My only complaint is that I can't do it all over again! Thank you so much for everything, and making our special day so perfect in every way!
We loved this venue! We looked long and hard for a venue that had the industrial vibes but also felt very cozy and this space was the perfect fit. Britty works very hard to make sure your special day is perfect and for the day of takes over all vendor contact so you can have the best day ever. Our favorite part was the reception space with the limestone walls. Our guests loved the space. We really wanted to have an open bar and were able to afford this with 413's BYOB bar option. You get to take really cool pictures on the rooftop, and there are a ton other spots for great photos. OH also, you can rent a nearby lot to make parking for your guests super easy! Overall it is an amazing fun space that you can add a ton of your own flair to if you want! You'll love working with Britty, and have a flawless wedding day!
You won't regret having your wedding at 413 on Wacouta! We recently had our ceremony and reception at this venue and were so happy with our decision. The entire space is absolutely beautiful and Britty was amazing to work with. She made the entire process so easy and my husband and I knew after the first meeting that we just had to work with her. Britty had an emergency come up in the weeks leading up to our wedding and so we ended up having Toni as our coordinator the entire day of. Naturally we were a little worried with a change so close to the wedding day but let me assure you, Toni did not miss a beat. She made sure all the little details were taken care so that I didn't have to worry about a thing on the big day.
Overall we had a fantastic experience with 413 on Wacouta and would highly recommend it!
Britty and her team were nothing but amazing for our August 25 wedding. We had such an amazing day and Britty made it clear she was there for us from the moment we chose 413 for any questions or concerns we had during planning and throughout our wedding day. There were little things that were taken care of I never knew about until after the big day was over all thanks to Britty and her team! I highly recommend 413 for the beautiful venue that made our guests rave but mostly because of the the amazing support Britty had to offer.
Cannot say enough great things about 413, Britty and the team, they are true gems! My wedding day was seamless! I had no idea what was going on behind the scenes and I was able to focus on my husband and the people around me. Thinking back to all the things that were just automatically taken care of without us even knowing I'm amazed! They even orchestrated packing up at the end of the night and my husband and I were able to say goodbye to all our guests, which was something I did not think I would get to do and I'm so grateful.
The space is BEAUTIFUL, we especially loved the reception area and got comments all night at how cool the space was.
I loved the bridal suite, it was great that everyone got to get ready in the same place without being cramped and there was plenty of hangout space for those who had downtime (that was not me!).
If you're thinking about having your wedding here, just book it! You will not be sorry!
I hosted an event at 413 on Wacouta and it was an incredible experience! Everything was effortless and beautiful! I would highly recommend!
We are absolutely thrilled with how our wedding turned out! Having our reception at 413 on Wacouta Event Center was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Britty and her team made everything so easy and were there to answer every question we had. She was responsive during the planning process and even on the day of our wedding which was extremely helpful! Britty and her team helped make our day exactly what we wanted! The venue was so unique and beautiful and we received so many compliments on the space. Definitely glad we chose 413 on Wacouta Event Center for our reception venue!
Having our wedding at 413 Wacouta was the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process! Britty and her team made everything so easy and were there to answer every question we had. She was responsive during the planning process (I feel like I constantly emailed her with questions :) and the day of our wedding was absolutely seamless! Britty and her team helped make our day exactly what we wanted - fun and relaxed. The venue was beautiful, we have gotten so many compliments on the intimacy and uniqueness of the ceremony space and the reception area. Definitely glad we chose 413 as our venue.
413 on Wacouta was the very first wedding venue we looked at, and while we looked at other venues, none offered the same charm as 413. Besides the look of the venue, one of the main reasons we booked 413 was due to the coordinator, Britty. Britty was always quick to respond to my every question and concern and even let us come check out the venue multiple times so all of our key family members could see it beforehand. Leading up to our wedding Britty made sure she was in constant communication so everyone was on the same page about arrival times, floor plans, and key contacts. A bonus is that because we were the only wedding at the venue that weekend we were able to use the venue the night before for rehearsal and the wedding party was able to leave dresses, shoes, etc. at the venue so they would have one less thing to worry about the next day. Toni was our coordinator on our wedding day and she was fantastic! I literally didn’t have to worry about anything. Vendors showed up and were directed by Toni - she even set up the name cards for the guests. Overall we had an amazing wedding day and I am so grateful for the peace of mind that Britty and Toni provided!
413 on Wacouta was such an incredible wedding venue. The venue itself is beautiful with such an classic St Paul vibe. The flow of the wedding from ceremony to reception is perfect and the staff makes it super easy and stress free. The reception area was cool in the summer heat and acoustics were awesome on the perfectly sized dance floor. Britty has vetted caterers and provided a list of great options. Also, the alcohol option provided by 413 was super easy and cheaper than anything else we could find.
Britty is clearly a pro and knows the ins-and-outs of weddings. She was so helpful leading up to the event. She let us come look at the space multiple times and always responded to emails quickly. Her and her team made the day so smooth. It was easy to relax knowing that they had everything under control.
I would recommend 413 on Wacouta to anyone! Couldn't have been happier with the day.
Everything went perfectly! Britty was soooo helpful during the entire planning process. All of our vendors were familiar with Britty and the location, which helped make everything go smoothly!
we got married on 6/23/18 at 413 on Wacouta and it was absolutely perfect! Britty and her team were amazing to work with, you could clearly tell they love what they do. The venue was stunning as well! We couldn't of asked for a better venue or coordinator!
I got married at 413 on 10/5/18 and it was everything I had ever hoped for and more!!! The venue is just beautiful and the perfect size for a romantic intimate wedding!! The 413 staff was so helpful during the whole process and the day of which was so awesome not to have to worry avout small stuff! I've also gotten so many compliments from our family and guests!
We absolutely loved having our reception at 413 on Wacouta. Britty was so organized and responsive throughout the planning process, she kept us on track to meet deadlines and her and her team made the day-of absolutely worry-free for us. I would absolutely recommend this venue.
I was very skeptical when we began searching for a venue for our wedding that we would be able to find a place that was both affordable and beautiful. When we toured 413 on Wacouta, my husband and I both knew that we had found our venue. We had been looking for a location where we could have both the ceremony and reception. All the places we had toured before that had offered this required the room to be flipped to get it ready for the reception. The set-up at 413 made the whole evening flow seamlessly by having a ceremony room upstairs and a room to have the reception downstairs. Both rooms are decorated elegantly and are ready to be used just as they are.
By far, the biggest benefit to choosing 413 was Britty. I felt so much pressure alleviated with planning everything because she was there every step of the way, listening to our wants, making recommendations, answering questions, calming our nerves. It was like having a built-in wedding planner who held our hand through the entire planning process. Britty not only helped with the planning of the wedding, but she was there on the day itself, making sure everything ran smoothly, ensuring guests knew where to go, collecting the gifts for us, moving pictures from the ceremony to the reception hall. We didn’t have to worry or even think about any of these tasks and neither did the members of our families.
We had the wedding of our dreams on July 1, 2018 and 413 on Wacouta is what helped to make that dream come true!
We had our ceremony and reception at 413 on July 14, 2018, and we also utilized 413’s BYOB bar package. We reserved the space well in advance and Britty was consistently responsive and helpful in the over-a-year leading up to our date. The space itself was so beautiful that it needed very little added decoration, so we just added some photos and some flowers. Britty and Toni provided day-of venue coordination and were just fabulous. Everything went off without a hitch and Britty even tracked down a pliers when I had a shoe emergency calling for one! Our guests repeatedly commented on how cool the space was, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thanks, 413!
Horrible experience in attempting to book a tour with this venue. 3 different appointments made only to be cancelled twice and stood up the final time. Extremely disappointed in the level of service of the owner.
Beautiful location! Kind-hearted host! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect spot to say, “I do”.
This was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. Ceremony and reception areas in one building, cozy fireplace in the getting-ready space, and an incredible, helpful team that was always available from scheduling our first visit to after the last song of the night.
As soon as we met with Britty (owner/operator) we knew we had to have our wedding at 413 on Wacouta! The venue is gorgeous and has so many unique historical touches that you hardly need any additional decor to make your wedding beautiful. Britty was extremely helpful and attentive during the planning process, and was even willing to meet with us extra times to go over details. It was basically like having a built-in wedding planner! Britty also made working with other vendors for our wedding easy because of her great reputation and connections with vendors. She helped handle so many of the details and coordinated things to make our job easy. Having our ceremony and reception in one location was a huge plus, and 413 on Wacouta has great spaces for both. The BYOB bar option for the reception was such a bonus, and the bartender was so helpful at our reception. On our wedding day Britty and her team made sure everything went smoothly and handled so many of the little details - we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The staff (Joan and Toni) went out of their way to help us pack up decor at the end of the night and were so attentive to our guests and a pleasure to work with. Having our wedding at 413 on Wacouta was everything we imagined and more. Working with Britty and her staff of true professionals made our experience so great and we would recommend 413 on Wacouta to anyone!
We chose 413 Wacouta after our first visit. The space (both ceremony and reception) were beautiful, intimate and perfect for what we envisioned on our wedding day. We were not let down - Britty and her staff were top notch - responsive to questions and very professional. We appreciated the direction during rehearsal and the ability ( due to the venue not being booked the night before) to set up the night before. We had a photo booth on the main level , which was the perfect space and allowed our guests to move around some. We received nothing but compliments on the space and people loved the location.
We would highly recommend 413 for your wedding.
Thank you to Britty, Toni, and everyone at 413 on Wacouta for making our wedding a dream come true! The venue is gorgeous and requires hardly any decorating, there's lots of great places in the area for photos, and the BYOB option is a huge bonus. However, the best part of all is Britty and Toni! Britty was wondering about answering any questions we had and coordinating with all our vendors. Toni was incredible for our rehearsal and the day-of by helping coordinate everything and ensure everything went even better than I'd hoped. Thank you!!
Your search stops here. The decision to have our wedding ceremony and reception here was by far the best decision my husband and I made regarding our wedding.
Britty was absolutely wonderful to work with. There is no better venue owner and coordinator in the business. She was incredibly sweet, helpful, accommodating. My husband and I wanted a nice fall wedding on September 23rd and we actually got a ridiculously, record-breakingly hot day. And when the A/C unexpectedly went out in the ceremony suite , Britty made us incredibly comfortable by offering our guests and the wedding party extra water and by bringing in fans. Not to mention the fact that Britty is amazing at handling unexpected surprises from over-zealous family members.
The venue itself is gorgeous. If you're looking for a rustic downtown St. Paul feel, this is the right spot! We did not need to add any of our own decorations to the ceremony suite and had very minimal decoration in the reception hall downstairs (only small floral centerpieces). The decor of the venue does your job for you.
If I could go back and do it again, I would absolutely hands-down pick 413 and Britty for our big day!
When we walked into 413 on Wacouta, our mouths dropped. It was a dream: the look, the accommodations, the experience we could give to our friends and family... it was perfect! Any plan, trend or idea I ran by Britty and her staff, they accommodated to, making our day absolutely perfect. I can’t rave enough about how great our experience was, the support we were given and the love that grew out of that day. 413 was OUR venue; the perfect place that represented US. Thank you Britty for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!
