I contacted Beth at LITU at a friend's recommendation. She was very nice and I signed a contract. A little while later there was something that forced Beth to have to assign another coordinator to me. She offered to let me back out of the contr...act since I hadn't met this other coordinator, which I thought was nice. I talked with the new coordinator (also named Beth!) who was very nice. She helped me work out some things that I was stuck on at our 2 face to face meetings. She basically decorated my wedding, too (although there were only a few things to do). This allowed my bridesmaids to be with me and my mom and aunt to get themselves ready. Every time I turned around, she was only a glance away at the wedding to be sure I was having a good time and doing everything I wanted to do.
The only thing I would do differently is I should have hired her for more than day-of coordination. I'm not sure if I knew how to really use her to her fullest potential for day-of because I had done everything up to that point. I was very stressed the week prior to the wedding with silly things (escort cards DIY, Programs DIY, did I get enough cups for our beverage caterer, etc). Since I work full-time and only had a week off prior to the wedding (with Thanksgiving in there, too), I put too much stress on myself. I highly recommend getting a coordinator for your entire wedding planning if you work!
