We had so many compliments from our wedding guests on the quality and presentation of all the food at our wedding! After doing several tastings, Lee John's stood out as the clear winner for us! We were so happy with everything related to our experience with Lee John's. Andie our coordinator was absolutely fabulous to work with, and really helped to make sure everything associated with the food and service at the wedding was just as discussed. We had to make some rather significant changes to our numbers within the month of the wedding due to concerns with Covid. Andie and the Lee John's team were happy to discuss alternative options, and made the potential additional stress of a Covid wedding almost non-existent. We would HIGHLY recommend Lee John's for anyone looking for a clearly superior food experience for their wedding!

The food was exceptional and great service from the initial planning process to the final execution. Our guests still talk about and compliment the food - in particular the mushroom ravioli as a unique and delicious side. We went through with our 2020 wedding knowing it wouldn't look like we initially pictured, but Lee John's came through and helped make our day memorable and special. They were flexible to the times and let us do our tasting via takeout. We are so glad we went with Lee John's!

10/10 recommend Lee Johns for your wedding!! First of all, do not skip a tasting with them. We did our tasting in November (2018) and we were treated like royalty. You get a full meal at your tasting, and we even got to try a bunch of their mini pastries as a treat! The people at Lee Johns are a total sell, but the food is also incredible. We knew hands down after our tasting that we wanted to use them for our wedding. We also used their bar-tending service which was really convenient! On the day of our wedding they were professional, timely, and the food was great. We ended up doing extra pastries in addition to our wedding cake and we did a late night station with them too. We had a ton of leftovers and they made sure to pack them up and put them in the fridge at our venue so we could pick them up the next day. I truly cannot imagine a better catering service - if you are located in Southeast WI, go with Lee Johns. You will not regret it!

We recently used Lee John's Catering for our wedding in downtown Milwaukee. Everything was PERFECT! I could not say enough about the company and their team. During the wedding planning process, we worked with Sarah, whose attention to detail was second to none. We decided on three food stations, where guests could walk around and try small plates of different types of food. It was executed exactly as we had hoped, and more. What makes Lee John's so special is the little touches that they add. For example, the personalized toppings that we selected for our Mac n Cheese Bar, down to the type of dish that we wanted it served in. Lee John's also catered our dessert bar, which was equally delicious. Our guests LOVED the food. I would honestly rate Lee John's more than 5 stars if I could! I would absolutely recommend them and use them again.

Seriously, where to begin!? Lee John's Catering catered our wedding at the River Bend Nature Center in Racine, WI on September 29, 2018. Five+ stars across the board. Our contact at LJC was Sarah H. Super professional, kind, and great to work with. Communication could have not gone any more smoothly. Give that woman a raise! We felt like we without a doubt had an incredible value for what we paid. The catering staff was awesome! Each staff at the venue was professional, fun, and took care of us. I looked across the venue late in the evening and saw the dancing along with us! Talk about awesome. The food was outstanding. Our goal was good, wholesome midwest comfort food and they nailed it. All of our guests song it's praise. My brother, sister-in-law, and cousin are vegan, and they even whipped up special plates for them. All of our vegans were SO pleased with their meals and said the would order the dishes in a restaurant. Other perks that added value: our tasting was free of cost, china, silverware, and glassware was no cost, LJC brought votives with candles for us to use at no cost. No cake cutting fee and they plated kringle for our guests for a late night sweet snack also at no cost. Sarah and the team at LJC, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You were amazing and made our day SO special.

The best choice we made for our wedding was having Lee John's as our caterer! From the food tasting to the planning to the last minute changes, the staff was so patient, helpful & very professional! The food was so so amazing! Our guests are still talking about the food & how great it was! From the appetizers to the entrees, Lee John's did not disappoint! Thank you for helping to make our day the BEST!!!

Absolutely amazing! The best food, the best set up, so accommodating for all food needs: Vegan, Gluten-Free. People raved about the food. So easy for the bride to have to worry about nothing with set up or take down. Delicious everything from salad (with great real lettuce, not iceberg), to the entrees. Handled everything with ease and grace. I wouldn't change a thing! Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lee Johns was great to work with and had fantastic food. We received so many compliments about our wedding food from our family and friends. For our wedding we had 3 passed hors d'oeuvres and then 3 stations. Lee Johns was flexible and worked with what we wanted. I would use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat!

Lee John’s did an amazing job catering my wedding! The food was amazing and our guests had only wonderful things to say! They offer a very unique and wonderful option of having a duet plate of any combination of entrees and tons of hors d'oeuvres to choose from. They also cook all their food on site. Their waitstaff was very professional and flexible on the wedding day in helping with my dessert table. They were reasonably priced compared to most and included linens and other perks without charge since we were first to book that date. My only criticism is towards the event coordinator we worked with. She was not very good at returning emails/phone calls, and did not accurately have some plans documented. I was told to make a schedule of times when I wanted serving and other details to occur, and this was clearly not followed. I do not think this is the fault of the event staff because it did run very smoothly on the day of the wedding, but I just wished I didn’t waste my time making an elaborate schedule. Not sure who ran the show the day of the wedding, but it was not in connection with what I arranged with the original coordinator. The food made this a 5 star rating which I think is most important in a wedding caterer. The preparation and coordination prior to the wedding could use some improvement, but the staff the day of made up for it! The quality of food is unmatched by any other wedding caterer I have ever tasted and our guests agreed!

Lee John's catered my daughter's wedding on 7/13/14. The food was absolutely outstanding. Pour guests could not stop talking about the appetizers, and then cleaned their plates at dinner. Both quality and presentation were beyond compare. Food was very important to us, and Chef Louis did not disappoint us-it compared to any fine restaurant one might dine at. Thank you to Sarah for all of her help with planning, and to Chef Louis to the best food we could have imagined.

I had the pleasure of working with Lee John's Catering when I celebrated my wedding with an informal party and dinner in Milwaukee. I was able to plan everything and feel quite easy about it all while living abroad and that is no doubt thanks to the professionalism and experience of Lee John's. The evening went off without a hitch, the food was delicious, and the staff was so great. I definitely recommend Lee John's.

WOW! What good food--and you do not always hear that at a wedding. We did stations as opposed to a sit down dinner and the main chef met with us personally to create a unique and delicious wedding! They were even able to accommodate our unique dessert request which our guests are still commenting on! Divine. Additionally our coordinator was friendly, flexible and had the coordination of events and set up beyond under control. Very organized and attentive! After our tasting, it was my priority to eat as the Bride and I did and thank goodness it was too good to miss--esp. our Brie, apple and carmelized onion puff pastry--wow!

We had a wonderful experience from Lee John's at our wedding. The food was to die for and the service was spot on. Our guests raved from beginning to en!

The food could not have tasted better. We got rave reviews from all our guests. Lee John's used organic meat and local veggies in a totally gourmet meal. I'm a vegetarian and we worked hard to get Lee John's to create a veggie dish that would be just as filling, delicious, and full of protein. They did make a lot of changes but didn't quite deliver the vegetarian dish that I would have like. It did taste very good but was low on the much asked for protein (only a few chickpeas and mushrooms). They had excellent timing and had all the meals served and hot in just the time frame that we were shooting for. They had a few mess ups that the guests didn't notice but I did. For example they were supposed to set some appetizers aside for myself and the groom so that we could eat them without worrying about trying to get an appetizer while greeting our guests. They did not set the appetizers aside for us. Also, they had the wrong number of place settings at the head table. They did quickly fix this problem. From the perspective of taste and the guest's reaction they were great. I would use them again but I would make sure that someone from my family/party planner was checking up on some of the details.

We were very impressed by Lee John's at our spring wedding in Milwaukee. The food both at the tasting and wedding was delicious and high quality (we enjoy good restaurants in NYC and DC). Jessica, the event coordinator, was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. The service at the event was top notch and professional. We felt the price was a good value for the level we received. Our guests complimented the appetizers and sit-down dinner. I would highly recommend using Lee John's for a wedding or other event.
