We loved Tina!! She made us feel amazing and took our stress away. Always asked so many questions to make sure everything ended up right and they way we wanted things to happen!!
After my husband and I’s November 2020 wedding got postponed to June 2021 due to the pandemic, we weren’t sure whether we wanted to or even could handle planning a wedding at that time… It just seemed too much to handle at once. However, because we put down deposits on some of the big-ticket items (venue and food), we decided to move forward planning. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator at the time, and me, being a I-can-handle-it-myself kind of gal, I didn’t think there was a need. If I could go back in time, I would slap myself on not asking Tina earlier to be my coordinator.
Leading up to the big day, Tina was pivotal in keeping us on-track. She would send gentle yet firm reminders to get stuff done and would keep me in check. Her help was immensely helpful. On the day of the wedding, she cranked it up and transformed into a hero and a lifesaver… Truly, I might have been the bride, but Tina was the MVP. I think she secretly sprinkled herself with magic or fairy dust that day because she was everywhere and did everything flawlessly – communicating with the venue and the vendors, directing people on decorations, calming people down, moving the schedule along, delegating tasks… And all of this with the utmost calm and a smile.
If you didn’t read any of what I put above, just read this. You want Tina to be by your side and in the background of your wedding day. She is unfazed by anything, and her competence and patience will make you not only believe but also know that everything is going to be fine. Hire her; that’s all I have to say.
It's crazy to think that my wife and I got married 6 months ago! I could not think of anyone better than Tina to help us plan and coordinate all of the nitty-gritty details to keep our special day, special. From the get-go, Tina has helped us with planning, venue preparation, and design choices. We walked through the venue together multiple times to make sure that we were on the same page about the fixtures, placement of tables, where people were going to congregate, etc. Tina took the initiative to get involved in the planning process and help us through this stressful process.
Fast forwarding to the actual day, like any other wedding, we had our fair share of uncertainties and last-minute changes. We were originally going to hold both the ceremony (uncovered) and reception (covered) outside, but due to weather issues, we decided to move the ceremony inside. Tina helped us make this huge and unexpected change quickly, allowing us to not have to worry about the venue details and instead focus on the things we needed to get done. During transitional times between the ceremony, cocktail hour, photography, and reception, Tina directed traffic expertly and efficiently. We even had a situation where the chairs were held together on a storage rack by a ratchet strap and the strap got caught, making it difficult to remove the chairs for the reception. 6 grown men were fidgeting with the strap for 15 minutes - it took Tina 30 seconds! I mention this to show that she is willing to get her hands dirty and do whatever needs to be done on wedding day.
Beyond her organization and planning skills, Tina is an empathetic and compassionate person who actively listens to those around her. She is passionate about making weddings as personal and memorable as they can be for those getting married. Honestly, if we were crazy and decided to go through the wedding planning process again, there is no doubt that we would want Tina on our team. Lee Legacy Events is who you want!
