Very hands on team! I love being organized and the Legacy team was beyond that. They have a portal that makes mapping out your wedding day needs/music requests a breeze. I loved how user friendly it was and how it allowed me to provide a lot more details of what I want. Day of the Emcee/DJ were great! Legacy was probably the best vendor choice I had as far as ensuring the day goes smoothly and the way I planned! My wedding was so much fun and they played great music. They provided a DJ and an emcee who made sure everything went as planned such as songs being played for certain parts of the wedding, making announcements, getting people on the dance floor, directing guests, and so much more. They were also very friendly and helped us with any questions we had throughout the night. I will recommend them to everyone I know for sure!!! So glad I chose them for my wedding. It wouldn’t have been the dreamy I planned for without them.

I worked events for 4 years. When it was my turn to get married I had zero doubt of who I would be hiring for our DJ service. Shawn, Brandon and the rest of the team are fantastic to work with. The software they use to plan your day is easy to use for us and helps make everything go a lot smoother. Having an emcee and a DJ at your event helps so much with making sure everything goes smoothly and is well organized. Legacy is the best!

My husband and I would highly recommend Legacy to any couple or for any type of event. They were timely and organized and made the planning easy with their online templates. They also did a great job with the mix of music for the night and were attentive to the bride and groom’s must play list, which we really appreciated! My biggest concern for entertainment was keeping the dance floor alive and Legacy exceeded all expectations. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Your DJ is the most important vendor to determine the overall vibe of your wedding. We wanted a day where we didn’t have to stress about the timeline and we wanted a party vibe and that’s exactly what we got. I did not have to worry about a single thing from walking down the aisle to making sure the timeline is running smooth and the party never dies, Legacy events makes sure everything is seamless. They were upbeat and created the party atmosphere that we really wanted for our wedding. Nothing went wrong because they were there leading the timeline and events and made sure things happened on schedule and when they were supposed to. They made everything they announced look effortless, not too rushed or too slow. Our guests could not stop talking about how cool it was to have the DJ and Emcee two separate people and I feel that’s what makes this company stand out. Whether you have 55 guests like we did or 350 guests you need this company to keep the party going all night long. The music was amazing and guests of all ages kept the dance floor packed all night. They were also very personable and genuine, I had just met them that day and they made me feel like they were my friends. DJ Ray even signed our shot ski guest book which was so cool!

We loved having Legacy Events for our wedding! Our guests had so much fun on the dance floor and at the photo booth. We've been to several weddings where DJs played too loudly for the space, but even during dance hours, Legacy Events made it so you could still comfortably have a conversation even on the dance floor while still fostering a fun party atmosphere. Legacy Events was so easy to work with, and we'll recommend them to all of our friends in the future!

Very professional, good at communicating with us, and kept things moving along on the day. We liked the fact we could select our music and specific songs for dances etc ahead of time, and that they personnaly walk you through your timeline, providing suggestions on when speeches are held, introductions etc.(We had no idea of how much goes into the coordination of it all) Our guests enjoyed the photo booth (a must) and the DJ was excellent. 5 Stars, we are very happy customers.

This company is great at coordinating everything at your event so it goes smoothly! Was easy to select the songs I wanted to be played at my wedding as they had an option to transfer your own Playlist from Spotify!

I was recommended Legacy Event Group by our Venue (Canopy Creek Farm). They were truly amazing. Their portal to help with the planning of the day was a dream. It helped to plan out things step by step and made sure every one was on the same page. Then once the planning was completed, the team that came to the wedding was absolutely amazing. The idea of having a MC and DJ was the best. Brandon was awesome and he made sure our day went flawless. I can't think of a better company to work with because they helped make our day perfect. Legacy Event Group was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Shawn (owner) is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Every question or request I had was answered promptly. The day of the wedding, both the DJ and emcee were SO nice and entertaining. They helped the day run smoothly and made sure all events happened on time! Brandon and Andrew were our Emcee and DJ for the evening. Both were so professional and absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were familiar with the venue and worked with our wedding planner in prior weddings, so everything went smoothly without a hitch. Brandon made sure to touch base with us and made sure my now-husband and I were aware of where we were on our timeline and kept everything organized. While I didnt get to interact with Andrew, our DJ, he made sure the music flowed and kept us on the dance floor. There was never a moment of awkward silences! I've never experienced such level of professionalism and I know I will definitely be calling them again for any future events. If you are on the fence with them - please don't be!

We had Shawn for our wedding and he was outstanding. We weren’t really sure of exact songs but told him what we liked and didn’t like and the vibe we were trying to go for during all portions of the night (ceremony, cocktail, reception). Everyone had an outstanding time at our wedding and raved about the music choices! They also provided a timeline to every vendor working with us so everyone was on the same page - huge relief off our part as bride and groom! They were very professional from the way they spoke during the wedding to the way they dressed. Do yourself a favor and hire Legacy!!

Shawn, Brandon, and the staff at Legacy Event Group know how to throw a party! My husband and I recently got married and had the absolute pleasure of working with Legacy for our music. Legacy provides a unique experience in that, you aren’t just hiring a DJ, you’re hiring a team. We worked with DJ Adam, who perfected curated a playlist that kept the dancefloor hot the whole night, and Emcee Ray, who acted as our cruise-director. Ray would make announcements throughout the night helping to direct our guests. Brandon, Adam, and Ray met with us multiple times to go over song selection and timelines. We always left those meetings feeling excited and reassured that, not only were we going to have a good time, but that we could rely on the Legacy team every step of the way.

Shawn and his team were professional, organized, and made the flow of our wedding seamless! We were able to request songs we wanted to hear for cocktail hour, dinner, and reception! It was so great to personalize our day and have such an incredible team that adapted to the chaos of what a wedding day can entail!

Honestly such a pleasure to work with. Extremely accommodating! I wanted to do a wedding video as a gift for my wife and Legacy was all too easy to collaborate with, providing TVs and backdrops for the TVs that perfectly fit our wedding team. Hopefully I won’t have to get married again, but if I do, I know who my DJ will be!

Legacy was everything we could have dreamed of for our wedding! We knew a DJ could make or break your day, but we didn't know how big of a role they would play! Brandon was great about keeping the day moving and checking in on us to make sure everything was what we wanted. The biggest complaint at our wedding was that the music was TOO GOOD and nobody could leave the dance floor. That is a win in my opinion and Legacy is to thank for that. My wedding day wouldn’t have been possible without Shawn and his team. They are SO much more than DJs. Shawn worked with me and my husband to plan not just music, but the entire timeline and then shared it with all of our vendors. I was a very organized bride and yet when the big day came I was such a mess I didn’t even remember what should be happening and when, thank god for Shawn because he made sure everything happened, on time, transitioned smoothly. He took care of everything. All of my vendors were amazing but if there was one that I would say was 1000% worth the money it’s Legacy Event. HIGHLY recommend!!

Working with Legacy Event Group was so stress-free. They are so thorough from the very beginning of booking with them, planning with them, to executing an amazing event. Music was a huge deal to me and I believe because of them our event felt even better than I dreamed. What I specifically loved about them vs any other company was that they provide multiple people to focus on different tasks (Emcee, DJ, photo booth) Our photo booth was such a great hit and I will cherish the photos for being able to see our guests have fun as well as their quality!! They are so knowledgeable about what they do and because of that, I had so much trust in their work allowing me to feel SO CALM about every aspect of the day which is worth its weight in gold!!

Shawn Huey and his team were completely awesome through the whole process. They did an excellent job with planning, DJ-ing/managing the ceremony and reception and were very thoughtful on making sure we had a good music selection for our wedding last October. Shawn even went above and beyond to help us get the track for the perfect first dance song. The photo booth staff was also great with our guests and it was a hit. On the day of, he ran things in an extremely organized and efficient manner, yet was able to roll with any changes that were thrown at him. We didn't have to worry about a thing with him in charge. All our guests had a great time and we would not hesitate to recommend Legacy to all our friends and family!
