The Marq is wonderful! They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole day! They helped us make our dream day a reality! Cannot say enough amazing things about the team at the Marq!
I can not put in adequate words how amazing this venue was for my wedding! The staff was so nice, and knowledgeable. Accommodated us where we needed and made us feel like home! The sweetest staff I have ever worked with! I would recommend anyone to go with this vendor. And the space is absolutely breathtaking! We had the outdoor space for our wedding!
We chose the Marq as our wedding venue over a year prior to our wedding. We actually loved another venue but they were not as easy to work with as the Marq was. Although they were still doing construction during our wedding (when we were initially told it would be completed); the venue was still beautiful. They ended up giving us some discounts because of the construction as well. We did pay for an extra bar set up that did not get set up and refused to give us money back so that was concerning but otherwise we had an amazing day at a venue that was easy to work with
The entire process from planning to execution was flawless. Staff made it easy to make decisions and were very helpful in assisting us with navigating each step. During our event, staff was available for questions and assistance and performed all of their duties as planned. The facility is gorgeous and we've heard nothing but positive comments from our attendees.
If you book this venue, just be aware you will be subject to some growing pains. We were shocked with surprise fees and changes two weeks before and after our wedding as an attempt from them to try and get back the money on other items that the sales girl promised us were “included.” It was incredibly stressful right before our wedding to try and be negotiating things with the venue that were already handled months before, which was a waste of time because they did not work with us on lowering any of these surprise extra fees. I had three meetings with the venue and the surprises/fees and changes that popped up last minute were not mentioned once in any of them. A few examples: They said we could use their "included" dishware and didn’t mention the high dishwashing fee. Our caterer (a VERY well known restaurant in Fort Worth) went through their loads of paperwork to get put on their preferred catering list, which they promised would be no service fee if we did, so which is why we went through all that effort. They got on the list 10 months in advance. Two weeks before our wedding, the coordinator decides that “upon looking at their paperwork” they don’t meet the requirements to be on the list, doesn’t tell us any concrete reason why they don’t meet the criteria, and we get charged a very high last minute service fee. Piece of advice: Hire your own wedding coordinator to hold them accountable for everything they say is included, the “banquet specialist” that is included with The Marq didn’t even stick around on the day of and I was so thankful that I had my coordinator there. The level of professionalism is incredibly low and we were shocked being residents of Southlake for basically my whole life to be dealt with in this manner in our own community. This facility is nice (which is the reason for my 2 stars). If you decide to book this venue, have them itemize every single thing that they promise you during your sales meeting so you don’t find yourself defending every little thing right before your wedding.
The venue is gorgeous. It's new, tastefully decorated and includes many items that you'd be charged extra for elsewhere. We used their linens, china, centerpieces for half of the tables, and had our ceremony outside at the beautiful amphitheater. Crystal, the banquet specialist, was amazing to work with. she not only answered our questions quickly, but provided suggestions on how to make our wedding better. We couldn't have asked for a better planner to be helping us out! Dylan and Carson were also onsite on our wedding day and made everything go according to plan. I highly recommend using The Marq as a wedding venue
