The hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and cake were all delicious and well-priced. The entire evening went very smoothly. One thing that we were surprised by (and so grateful for) was the way in which LeMont helped us to stay in budget. We felt that the pricing was extremely reasonable—and even generous—given the iconic view, the delicious food, and all the time and care that went into our reception. Before choosing LeMont as a venue, we had read positive reviews about their pricing, but we were still surprised by the degree to which it ended up being affordable. We highly recommend LeMont for a great wedding reception in Pittsburgh.

calm, & collected demeanor upon meeting him, to his answering ALL the emails I sent to him between March and July, thanks to our rebooking during COVID, to the day of. We planned our wedding from out of state and he and his team were available to answer any and all questions via phone or email. They were even accommodating for our tasting to be a weekend we were in town. The day before, they received all our decorations - centerpieces, signs, favors, placecards and dozens of 50 different types of cookies and their nametags - all without hesitation or concern! Bill was at the door with catering carts and we were able to drop it all off, send pictures and descriptions of what went where and how the centerpieces were to be set up, and they took it from there. The new elevators they put in during COVID were life savers for this and for our older relatives that struggle with steps. Do not hesitate to book them! EVERYONE raves about the view, the FOOD, and the service! And the wedding party got appetizers and drinks in the cigar bar upstairs prior/during cocktail hour so we could take a breath, bustle my dress, and just enjoy a few moments of laughter without interruption. It was a dream come true venue and luckily was available months before our date without having to pick a 4th new date. When we walked down the stairs, we were in awe of how perfect it all looked. We cannot say enough good things about Bill and his team at the LeMont!

pandemic began. From early on during the pandemic up until the day of our wedding, Bill was incredibly calming and went out of his way to make our day perfect. His calming presence always made me walk away feeling a million times better about our wedding reception. The week of our wedding we had several cancelations due to COVID and the Lemont was flexible with us and never held us financially responsible for any guest who didn’t attend. They worked with us to solidify our seating chart up until the morning of the wedding. In addition to having the spacing however we wanted, they also accommodated having two guests per table who wanted to sit without others. They were the definition of accommodating and were truly caring in their service! Aside from Covid concerns, the Lemont is truly the most beautiful and elegant place to hold a wedding reception. The food cannot be matched anywhere else and the atmosphere is incredibly romantic! We simply dropped off our centerpieces, decorative items, etc to the restaurant on Friday and when we walked into the reception, everything was set up perfectly. I could not have asked for a more beautiful, accommodating, and romantic venue for a wedding. Bill and his staff are beyond compare! If you’re looking for a classy, elegant location with the kindest and most competent staff, the Lemont is the ideal place for you!

We had to downsize to a very small guest count due to covid restrictions and had to find a new ceremony and reception venue that would bring the “magic” for our day. My husband and I officially started dating at The LeMont, so we knew it would be a perfect fit. We just didn’t know how perfect at the time! Bill waived the normal minimum number of people required to reserve a private room on a Saturday night in light of the covid regulations. He also answered all of my emails and calls promptly- we had to pull everything together in just a little over a month, so there were a lot of details to work out! Bill was always calm, professional, and incredibly reliable. At the time of booking, we were their only wedding for our date, so we were booked for the portion of the huge downstairs room that has the prime view of the city. (This huge downstairs room is usually separated by a divider so as to make two still very large rooms). A few weeks before the wedding, Bill informed my mother-in-law that another small party would be on the other side of the downstairs room that evening. At some point on the day of the wedding, my mom mentioned that the owners of LeMont were actually going to be on the other side of the divider celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! To say I was shocked would be an understatement! I want to extend a sincere thank you to the owners of LeMont, Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap. I was truly touched and amazed that they permitted me and my husband to stick in the side of the room that has the particularly gorgeous Pittsburgh view. At any other restaurant with any other owners, we would surely have found ourselves bumped to the other side of the room, which while beautiful doesn’t possess quite the same iconic view of the city. It truly speaks to the Dunlaps’ character as well as that of LeMont as a whole that the owners as well as all staff put the guest experience at the forefront at all times. I would have totally understood the need to move us due to such a milestone anniversary for the owners of the restaurant...we will be forever touched that they put us, perfect strangers, above themselves! I’m still pretty shocked - cannot imagine things shaking out the way it did for us at literally any other restaurant...My husband and I have always known that LeMont is a special restaurant, but the process of planning and having our small wedding there really made me realize that it’s the people, especially those with leadership roles, that set the tone for going above and beyond to maximize the guest experience. Brian, the manager who managed our room on the day of the wedding, and countless other members of LeMont’s staff stepped up for us whenever we needed anything at all. The LeMont has also invested in and installed state of the art UV air filters all over the restaurant so as to make the indoor dining situation as safe as possible for staff and guests during these unusual times. At the end of the day, our day was beyond perfect and we can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else!

We dropped everything off to Bill in the morning and he and his team made sure to set everything up. Our bartender and server, Don, was incredible! He was so attentive and had a great personality. My husband and I got our first dance and We’re able to cut our cake as well as have our own sweetheart table. Thank you so much Le Mont staff, for making our reception absolutely amazing during this crazy time.

was a great value for the location, food quality, and services provided.LeMont was very upfront with costs, and allowed us to stock the open bar with our selection of beers and wines. LeMont allowed us to forego stocking any liquor, which allowed us to stay on budget. I'm pretty sure local guests thought we spent upwards of $20K on this venue, but realistically we spent about $10K for 125 guests, including gratuity and tax. LeMont was also very accommodating to our schedule, guest food requests, table layout, and my mom's thousands of cookies. Our guests were very happy with the food, service, and view, and everyone had a great night. I can't imagine anything we would have changed.

The restaurant is classic and beautiful which even takes stress away in the decorating process because things are already gorgeous in there. We even had our own special area for the bridal party before our entrances that makes you feel like your in the great Gatsby. The Pittsburgh view is stunning and we even lucked out with pirates post game fireworks during the reception. They accommodated to a selection of meals we chose for a large crowd, and although dinner was a little slower than projected timeline everything was cooked to perfection and every guest commented on how delicious their meals were. They made sure my husband and I were happy all night long and they couldn't have been nicer about our one million questions in the planning process. Gorgeous venue, great staff, fantastic food and surprisingly very reasonably priced for the high quality you get. Highly recommend the LeMont!

I had my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the LeMont. The whole event went off without any issues. Half of the wedding guests were from out of town and they were overwhelmed with the amazing views and the whole setup of the venue. My guests were raving about all of the food choices. If you’re looking for a classic venue with an amazing view and delicious food then you must choose the LeMont. You won’t be disappointed.

Good food and service. We would've liked more communication when it came to setting up the room. We reached out a few times to make this decision, but were always told it was someone else we needed to contact. The night of the event, it was difficult to talk to guests with the set up they chose and there were NO cocktail tables to mingle. We asked the staff to bring in cocktail tables, which they did right away. However, it was awkward they were doing set up while our event was happening.

o work with. Their experienced staff worked with us efficiently on all of the details of our reception. They take care of a lot of the details that other places won't: they'll provide you a wedding cake, all of the linens, table numbers, set up the entire reception space including decorations and cookie table, and handled all food and liquor, all for an extremely reasonable price. Going with the LeMont allowed us to remove so many things from our to-do list. After all of the planning and ceremony, the LeMont is the perfect reception location to celebrate with all of your loved ones. Elegant trappings, professional service, delicious food, and a jaw dropping view all form the backdrop for a perfect night.

best location for that. There is not enough words to describe how beautiful the city looks from their banquet rooms. It makes for the most amazing backdrop. We had our wedding on 10/27/18 in the lower level. The space was perfect. We had our own private bar area with restrooms on that level, so we never even noticed another event in the upper space. It was perfectly private. The entire wedding planning process with Bill Laughlin, the event director was the absolute best. He was so kind and accommodating, understanding, responsive, and just generally so easy to work with. We did not have a wedding planner, so things could have stressed us out very easily, but it never did thanks to Bill and the amazing staff at the LeMont. When we got there for the reception everything was exactly as I had imagined it; the centerpieces, cookie table, cake, decorations, hors d'oeuvers...everything was perfect. Dinner service flowed perfectly with absolutely no issues and the waiters always made sure that myself and my husband had wine and were eating and taking time to enjoy the night. And the food was so so good...even better than at our tasting! At the end of the evening I was introduced to the owner who was just as kind as Bill and the rest of the staff. It's now almost been a month since our wedding and people are still talking about how amazing the LeMont was. Bill and everyone at the LeMont made our wedding reception perfect!

The food was obviously delicious and they were so accommodating for our guests with food sensitivities/allergies - not one mix up or complaint about the array of special requests we had. They also were able to serve four of our guests with special anniversary desserts. Everything went off without a hitch! The bartenders were excellent and knew every drink ordered by our guests. We had one guest even request nonalcoholic beer and they found some for us! The venue was beyond stunning. Honestly we didn't even need to bring in anything - it is beautiful on its own and you cannot beat the view. I would give more stars if I could they are that phenomenal!

ambiance, good food, wonderful and attentive staff, with an AMAZING view of Point State Park and Pittsburgh’s many bridges. Our group of about 60 had a downstairs dining room (with separate bar area) all to ourselves. Lots and lots of space to mingle before dinner over drinks, enjoy the views and take pictures before the buffet dinner. Wonderful that we were encouraged to take our time, sit over coffee and dessert as the sun set and the view and light became even more beautiful. So many of the attendees had never been to Pittsburgh before—what a gracious introduction!

From our food tasting, to last minute requests and changes, and even day of "crisis", Bill was happy to help in any way and made sure my husband and I did not stress so we could enjoy ourselves. We were pulled aside for pictures right in the middle of eating and the staff made sure to take our food away to keep warm while we were gone and immediately brought it out when we sat back down. There was a small issue with missing name cards for guests and Bill made sure to handle calmly and efficiently. He really is a great person to work with, very laid back but does his job exceptionally. We were even introduced to the owner during the night which was a nice touch. As for price, don't shy away from LeMont. We had 160 guests and when looking at other places LeMont was the most affordable for everything you get. And they don't nickle and dime you like many other places do for weddings. Anything we asked for we got, with no hesitation. I recommend them to anyone having an event. And I plan to continue to use them for other events in our future. The LeMont was by far the least stressful part (if any) of our wedding planning process. Our guests raved about the venue, staff, food and could not get enough of that Pittsburgh view. I really have nothing negative to say about the LeMont.

of the wedding I was able to get there early and set up my decorations/centerpieces. The staff was phenomenal and the banquet manger Anthony was a pleasure to work with. He made sure everything was perfect and his staff was friendly and attentive. The food was perfect and everyone who attended the wedding loved everything. No one left disappointed. I would recommend the Lemont to anyone who is looking for a small,medium, or large event as they are very professional and easy to work with. Plus the view makes for the best photos without having to stand on the side of grandview ave.

Our guests told us it was the fanciest wedding they had ever been to, that the food was delicious, and the view was spectacular. It’s hard finding a venue that knocks all your wish list items out of the park, and the LeMont did it. Bill Laughlin was also so easy to work with. He e-mailed back within a few hours which was nice, especially leading up to the wedding. You would have thought I was the only Bride he was working with, which I know is not the case since he has e-mailed me since my wedding and asked about one of my vendors. A Bride saw pictures of my reception and wanted to know one of my vendors. I think it shows how much he truly cares by going above and beyond to get this information to make another Bride’s day perfect. Bill also worked with all of my vendors to arrange set up and pick up times so that I didn’t have to stress. I was able to drop all of my décor off the day before, and the staff at the LeMont set it up beautifully with very little instruction. It was so nice not to have to stress about setting up the venue before the wedding. I was truly overwhelmed walking into the venue for the first time. Our ceremony was absolutely stunning since the setup is in the corner of the room overlooking the City. I loved showing off the City this way to our out of town guests! I would definitely recommend the LeMont to other couples looking for a wedding venue, it was truly amazing. Thank you, Bill and the rest of the staff, for making our day perfect!!

ake was more beautiful than I had even imagined. But what REALLY made this place was Bill Laughlin, the banquet manager. Bill was amazing from the start. He replied to my millions of emails within an hour every time. He was SO accommodating. Basically everything I asked, he said yes to. He is really helpful with finding ways to keep the cost down, which is so nice because you expect people to push you to do the expensive option. Bill was there for the rehearsal and the whole day of. Every time I talked to him leading up to the wedding and the day of, he made me feel at ease. The whole staff was incredible the day of too. The view is the best in the whole city, the space was plenty big with room to spare, the staff is awesome, the food is amazing, it was just the most perfect venue for the most perfect day.

e at LeMont, but looking back at those "thank goodness XYZ happened moments," other than the weather, I can only thank LeMont Restaurant and Bill Laughlin for making our wedding planning and weekend run smoothly. I live in NYC and had limited time to visit LeMont, making food selections, and decide on the decor. Bill was flexible with scheduling, making decisions over the phone or by email, and in our unique requests (e.g. making a DIY photobooth with the gold curtains in the cocktail hour space as a backdrop, and allowing us to having wine bottles as guest books). He was honest about costs, and we knew months ahead of time what to expect of the bill, and when to pay it. My Pittsburgh family would say comments like "you must have spent a fortune at this venue," but in all honesty, I did vast research on affordability in Pittsburgh venues, and LeMont was the most cost-effective choice of the nicer places. I had both my wedding and my reception at LeMont, and they both turned out perfectly! In all honesty, I had always imagined my wedding at an outdoor venue, like a park or a botanical garden, but I am SO happy we decided to choose LeMont. We took our first look photos outside at a park, so I still had those classic, natural light photographs. Thank you SO much Bill and LeMont!
