The day of, the service was phenomenal. The Maitre' D took her role very seriously and was always there when we turned around making sure everything ran smoothy. The food was to die for and EVERYONE at my wedding all said the same thing. Everyone was talking about the food. The room was gorgeous. Got married in the Continental Room and it was so elegant and graceful. Felt like I was in a fairytale. There are plenty of beautiful places on site to take photos. We didn't even have to book a place to take photos because we just did it at Leonard's. Between the food, the service, and the gorgeous facility, I couldn't imagine why anyone would not want to book at Leonard's for their big day.

My bridal attendant (Diana) was just as amazing knowing exactly what we needed before we even knew we needed it. The food was incredible from the cocktail hour to the sit down reception. Everyone that attended our wedding continues to come to us and say what an incredible night they had and we cannot thank Ryan and the rest of the amazing staff there for helping us create such incredible memories. I wish there was a way to give Leonard’s more than five stars for a review! Anyone who is wishing to have a wedding with incredible staff, amazing food, and an overall awesome atmosphere needs to look to Leonard’s! We had the best time ever!

n, Jay was very welcoming, outgoing, and friendly, he listened and met all of our wants and needs and didn’t push to do it other ways such as others, it was a true blessing meeting Jay we made each other feel as close as family. The staff at Leonard’s Palazzo was very attentive, the bridal attendants (Wendy and Stephanie) were both jumping back and fourth between the bridal suite and the grooms room keeping both our parties away from the other (as requested) before the ceremony and attending to every need, The Maitre D Didi, was perfect in keeping everything organized and keeping the night running smooth... The food at the reception and dinner was extremely plentiful and so delicious our guests could not stop raving about it. We had a picky eater and the staff accommodated their request. The décor at the reception was just breath taking. Our guests said this was the best wedding they have ever been to and one even said "can we do this again?" The staff even neatly packed up our favors, sign book, etc. and brought it to the cars. If you're looking for a venue for your wedding or any event on the island, look no further. The best decision made! Highly recommended! I cannot wait to have another event at Leonard's Palazzo!

We had jam packed night but Jose the maitre'd and Ryan made sure our night went smooth and kept to the program timing we gave them and thankfully so. We would have been lost without them. My parents said the wait staff was amazing. The bridal attendants were great from my experience first hand. They helped my wife every time she had to go somewhere, anytime we needed drinks, made sure we ate during cocktail hour and really helped us along the night. From pre wedding photos up to our venetian hour, the staff and Leonards were on point. I highly recommend Leonards and 1000% recommend booking with Ryan because he was honest and met every request we had for our wedding.

, Raquel, and especially Jennifer all went above and beyond my expectation. Everything was well coordinated. Didi was a huge help in getting us organized for the wedding rehearsal and making sure our reception program ran smoothly. Jennifer was always there whenever we needed something. The bridal suite was great...drinks and food was brought up for us (although we had no time to eat)... the room was always secured...they even had a security lady who kept the room lock whenever no one was there. And wow, the food was absolutely delicious. Just as we were worried about how we would get everything home, the three wonderful ladies had already packed everything up for us on two carts, wheeled them out and put everything into our cars. We were treated like royalties!

Considering we were planning the wedding from out of town, Ryan and the LP team could not have made the process any easier. I am very grateful to the team for taking such great care of us from setting up a mini cocktail for the wedding party, and boxing food for my husband and I to take home after the celebration because we didn't have an opportunity to eat during the reception. was a doll from the start. He gave us plate after plate of food while we there (and every time after that) and gave us a detailed tour. We went the next day with our deposit. From that day it was even more smooth sailing. Ryan scheduled a tasting (we even requested one of the waitresses, Diana, as one of our bridal attendants for the wedding) for my husband and I and our parents, a rehearsal (ceremony was on site) and respected our wishes of not wanting to see each other before the ceremony. Our maître d’ was Jose and he was amazing! We decided to move the ceremony inside because it was the one day in October the temperature dropped to 48. At one point during the reception, I wanted to remove a layer of my dress that comes off; it kept falling and getting in my way. One of my bridesmaids and I went to the suite and I forgot the door stays locked. I went to turn around to find someone and Jose was right behind me, appeared out of thin air. He laughed and said “My job is to know where you and Mr. Christopher are at all times.” That speaks volumes. Top notch at his job. The bridal attendants went above and beyond. We had Diana and Rina. Both helped our amazing photographer and really catered to my whole bridal party and families every need. They went above and beyond. Our reception room literally made me cry. My husband and I worked so hard to make it a fall theme with pumpkins, leaves, etc. The way they displayed and decorated and the lighting, the cake display, I literally hugged them and cried. It was a dream come true. The whole experience at Leonard’s was truly amazing and I wouldn’t change a thing, except it was too short! Love to Leonard’s! Thank you!

I truly did not have to worry about a thing and all my requests were welcomed and taken care of. I really felt special. Ryan M. is awesome!!!! The day of the wedding, everything ran SO smoothly and Bonnie and Natalia guided me, kept me hydrated, relaxed, and always made sure I was having the best time (which I did!). When we had to go back to the bridal suite before the reception Bonnie made us 2 huge plates of everything at the cocktail hour because she knew we were too busy talking with everyone to be able to eat. That was so sweet! At the end of the day they packed up everything for us. They were amazing and always one step ahead. As for my guests, they are STILL telling me what an amazing time they had, how beautiful the decor was and how AMAZING AND DELICIOUS the food was (this coming from the old school Italians as well!!) My pictures were absolutely stunning because there were so many beautiful places to take pictures outside and inside. We felt like royalty and so did our guests!! t we were very nervous to have our wedding at an American venue, since some of our family members are very picky with food, but all of our family members and guests really enjoy and liked the venue. They all said it was a very beautiful and the food was very DELICIOUS, and they were sooo full!!! My little nieces even said they want to have their future wedding here too. Ryan, the maitre D and bridal attendants were very accommodating. I’m the type of bride that like to overseas everything. They came to me to make sure I was okay with the decoration and see if I needed anything and even gave us input as to how certain things should be done. I really appreciated it. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was more than I asked for. Even though there was a little miscommunication, they took care of it right away. One advice for future bride and groom, don’t stress over the little things, enjoy your big day that your planned sooo hard for. Also, not everything will go perfectly as you plan, even if you planned it perfectly- that’s life. As long as you have the right team like Leonard Palazzo, you are set. We will definitely come back in the future to book other events.

I could not be more happier with how Leonard's treated us. I wouldn't change a single thing if I could I'm so happy I picked them as my venue! Our bridal attendants Raquel & Natalie were AMAZING!! They kept me on my wedding time-line, updated me when needed, coordinated with my wedding party on my behalf, fed me, gave me and my party drinks, called me a cab, got my stuff together to help me leave, set up all the stuff I wanted to have displayed at the wedding, and so much more. Everything went so smoothly! My husband lost his phone sometime during the evening and after telling Raquel about it, she had EVERYONE searching for it! We didn't find it, but that was the only bad thing that happened throughout the day and it wasn't even that serious! The LP Team supported me the whole day and without them, things would not have gone smoothly. The food is delicious! I had guests coming up to me, telling me that this was the best wedding they've been to and that the cocktail hour was the most impressive spread they've ever witnessed! We were put in the DaVinci room (amazing space with a four sided bar and small outdoor area) and there were multiple events going on (which made me worry a bit) but they put a curtain up in the beginning separating our side of the venue to ensure that no one would crash the party while my wedding crew was setting up the space. Once our guests entered, they removed the curtain as if it never existed. Half the time I didn't know what was happening (I was getting my makeup touched up) and Raquel & Natalie directed me and my party so well. I can't express my gratitude enough and I highly recommend having a wedding here. They are serious professionals and know exactly what they are doing. As someone who is super laid back, I let the LP team handle everything. Honestly, I had no idea what I was doing when I was planning our wedding. All I knew was that I didn't want to exert any energy directing people and wanted my wedding party to relax and have fun. LP took really good care of me and my crew. If you're thinking of having your wedding here, or any type of event, DO IT! You won't regret it!

They even provided me with a gluten free groom's cake so my family members can have gluten free wedding cake as well! I have celiac disease and so does my family. The food was absolutely delicious and none of my guests realized they ate gluten free food. Everything was absolutely perfect. Ryan was amazing! My wedding day was absolutely perfect! The food was unbelievable, the staff was amazing and everything was perfect. It has been a week since my wedding day and my guests are still reaching out to me about how incredible my wedding was. The servers at each table were very attentive and helpful to my guests, the bartenders were fantastic and the food was outrageous! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! The bridal suite staff was amazing. They made me feel so special and important on my wedding day. They ran around and got me everything I needed no questions asked. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was incredible, my room (The Da Vinci Room) was stunning and the staff went above and beyond for my guests. Everything was stunning, absolutely amazing!!! The only word of advice I have for future brides… make sure you check your cake topper before leaving the venue. I was heart broken to see someone dropped and broke mine when they cut the cake. I found out when I returned home and took it out of the original packaging.

She is one of the nicest, friendliest people. She kept reassuring me everything would be alright and she went way beyond her job description to help out and make sure it was. The wedding was two weeks and people are still calling to rave about the food, service, quality, and atmosphere. People go to places with only one wedding at a time so they don't feel like they're at a wedding factory. There were several other events that night and this still felt more intimate and personal than picking a place with one wedding only. In fact, it was fun seeing other people and everyone congratulating each other and having fun. In fact, I wouldn't pick a place now with only one wedding at a time. The staff was excellent!. The food was delicious - I've gotten from several steak lovers it was the best filet they ever had! The service was top notch! The place is beautiful! I can not say enough good things! I would have never thought the place I based by millions of times during my life would be the place to give me the happiest day of my life! Thank you!

Our guests couldn't stop talking about the amount of food served at the cocktail hour and the beautiful spread for the Venetian hour. The venue has valet parking and it has more than one ballroom, so you will have other events going on during your wedding. It didn't bother us, they did a good job of keeping events separate.

The staff at Leonards is super understanding and always willing to accommodate to our needs especially the day of the party. My daughter would repeatedly tell me after the party ended how much she loved the Maitre d (Giancarlo) JC and his assistant and how they were always trying to help her and making sure she found everything that she needed.... even a pin for her Tiara, and tried to calm her down before she walked out because she was nervous. l of my friends said it was the best cocktail hour they've ever seen! I was originally introduced to Leonard's decades ago. I grew up in the neighborhood, attended several events over the years, but the last wedding I had attended there as a guest must have been 20+ years ago. So when it came time for my own wedding, I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, it seems like over that time frame, Leonard's has only gotten better... I knew this was the place for my husband and me from the get-go. I'm an extremely detail-oriented person, so from Day 1 when I met Eric, the general manager of Leonard's, I was excited to be working with someone with the same level of attention. Eric and his right-hand, Gabby, were fantastic in going over absolutely everything down to the T, and were awesome at leveraging their experience in helping me allocate my time, effort, and money on the things that mattered most. In the end, my husband and I opted to have a black tie optional Saturday wedding, with a short ceremony on-site on the West Patio, followed by cocktail hour just steps away, and the reception (extended to 5 hours) in the Grand Ballroom. We were impressed by the food selection, both for cocktail hour and dining, and went for the top-shelf alcohol too. We decided to work with all Leonard's recommended vendors - hotel, limo, photo/video, dj, etc. - and we're glad we did because those vendors did a fantastic job as well (which makes sense because I doubt Leonard's would accept working with any vendors less than stellar!) I know that when it comes to a big event, you want to do your research, look around a number of venues (and wow are there many in Nassau County, Long Island alone!), compare setting, service, price, etc. and then narrow it down to only a few and compare again. I wanted to do the same for my big day, but Leonard's checked all the boxes. It's clear where I stand here...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Leonard's!

From the professional valet attendants to the door opening for us, to all the responsive members of the team who helped us quickly decide this is the place for our celebration by their professionalism and genuine interest in our event. The banquet manager Jay Ahn leadership was phenomenal. I was extremely nervous when I began my search of a venue but that stress was quickly alleviated and turned into not only a proud moment due to the reason for celebration but also to how each and every request of ours was met with responsiveness and professionalism. Jay Ahn was kind and friendly and never minded our long list of requests. From the moment our guests arrived to this day, I consistently hear about what a great venue and party we had. People loved the room, the staff, the setting, and how smoothly the event was carried out. I have to thank the staff for their professional, yet friendly, attitude and I sincerely want to thank our banquet manager Jay Ahn and maitre’d Giancarlo (JC) for making this event especially memorable for my daughter. I strongly recommend this place for any event, big or small. The staff was easy to work with, they were super understanding of our needs and they took care of everything to perfection. I couldn't have found a better place to celebrate my daughter's special day.

We stopped by at Leonardo's one afternoon a few months before our event was to take place to finalize some stuff and My wife saw Jay walk by, I looked also to make sure. I proceeded to try and get his attention so that we could have him take over our account. Remember a happy wife is a happy life(jk). I knew we made the right choice when we sat down and spoke to Jay, we just connected on so many levels. At this point I feel like we are family with the connections we made. Our reception was June 2, 2018 and it went off flawlessly. The staff at Leonardo's was amazing!!!! Rina and Racquel our bridal attendants took such great care of me and my wife. Jose our maitre’d made sure we were okay all night and catered to our guests. As for Jay he's amazing and made our big day unforgettable. He pays attention to details, consults with you every step of the way and he's very patient. Jay is the best!!!!!. I would strongly recommend Leonardo's Palazzo to anyone who's looking for an elegant place with great staff to host an event.

Jay is so knowledgeable about food and culture, he knew how important a nice sit down dinner with filet minon would reflect on our friends and family. He even served our dinner to us! Our maitre’d Michelle was just a doll she was always one step ahead and so thoughtful. The bartenders, waiters and the hostess were so polite and helpful. I highly recommend this venue and will plan future events and my wedding when the time comes !

enues. Needless to say, the venue that caught our eye was Leonard’s. The décor and ambiance is truly grand and majestic especially compared to the other places we visited. Also it’s close to the border of Queens and Long Island, so it was convenient for a majority of our guests to get too. My wife began to grow a bit skeptical over time of one of the sales representative Joe we were initially working with, which was also mentioned in another review on this site. He was always stressed and his email replies to our questions were very brief. He said one thing and when we asked him again a few months later he would say something else. Nevertheless we moved forward since we had already booked a date. We continued to pay our installments over the year and hoped for the best the night of our wedding. Ironically about a month prior to the wedding we found out he was no longer working there. This was a blessing in disguise as Ryan stepped in and saved the day. He made my wife feel more comfortable and kept true to his word. The wedding night arrived and it was AMAZING! The staff and bridal attendants were all courteous and helpful throughout the night. They even offered 2 extra filet mignons for my wife and I to take home at the end of the night. Our guests were blown away by the variety and amount of food during the cocktail hour. Some guests thought that alone could have been dinner. They were truly impressed with the turkey, lamb, and beef carving stations. Dinner was just as impressive. The menus were customized for us. The portion and taste of the food was phenomenal. (Although my personal favorites were the filet mignon and salmon). The Grand Ballroom looked even more spectacular with the lighting than we first saw it in our walkthrough. I also loved the fact that we had the entire first floor that night and that everything was conveniently located on one floor for our guests; from cocktail hour to the bathroom to the bar. My coworkers couldn’t stop talking about the bar, as everything was indeed top shelf including Macallan (which is usually unheard of at weddings). Although the night flew by, my wife and I were truly happy as those few hours felt magical and surreal. I highly recommend Leonard’s to anyone that is looking for an elegant and luxurious wedding without spending your life savings.

ything seemed like it would work out perfect having Leonard’s Palazzo be the venue for our wedding day, especially the comfort we felt being a same sex couple. We waited another week or so until they had their winter showcase (since this is the only time you can taste test food - which was extremely delicious!) and then booked. From our first few meetings, communication was thorough, but as the months went on and our wedding day got closer, it was harder and harder to get in contact with Joe. We needed some basic questions answered and it was very frustrating not getting responses through email. Several times it took more than one attempt from our end to finally get a response. Even when we did get responses, they were very short and vague. Often times, we were still left with questions unanswered and still had to follow up. He made it like we were an inconvenience to him when we were asking our questions. His personality is full of sarcasm and humor (which we initially liked) but when it came down to business, it was not funny anymore. We felt as though anytime we were expressing concern there was a condescending tone to how he was answering us. Joe had said that sometimes he couldn't find our e-mails and to just call him, but even then it was like playing phone tag. We even tried looping in Danielle (his assistant) in the final few months but she could only assist on some of the smaller details for the wedding. It was also my wife and I that reached out to Joe ONE WEEK BEFORE our wedding to ask if they even would like their final payment as per the contract Leonard's would reach out 2 weeks prior to the wedding to solidify all of the final details. The response we received to our professional e-mail asking when we should come down for our final meeting was a 5 word e-mail back to us stating "PAIN IN THE ASS LOL." That was it. Literally, that is all we received back! Our friends and family were outraged and said we should say something about it to someone. In fear of saying something to the wrong person and having out wedding sabotaged, we waited 2 days and then decided to call him since we had heard nothing. The final meeting ended up taking place after the ceremony rehearsal, the night before our wedding, which made things so much more stressful and hectic than it should have been. On the day of our wedding, things thankfully fell into place. Our Maitre D' Natalia and two bridal attendants Diana and Sharon were amazing! We were truly thankful for them as they made us feel confident that we could rely on them throughout the whole night! Our bridal suite was set up very nicely for my wife and I after our ceremony to relax before we headed to cocktail hour. We heard nothing but rave reviews from all of our guests on how much they loved the food from the cocktail hour through the reception and we definitely agreed (We even took our filet mignon back to the hotel with us to our after party and even eating it cold it was still delicious!) As far as an overall rating goes, we have to give Leonard's an average of a 3. Hopefully this review can be taken into consideration and help to make some positive changes for the future couples getting married here!

We payed for our entire wedding out of pockets and we are 23/24 and not rich so we were not trying to go broke for our wedding. Leonards was the last place we went too and they gave us a more affordable price. We finally found a place within our budget. And we got wayyyyy more than the other venues we're offering. Decor: Leonards have been doing this for awhile so they have everything you really need for a wedding. Amazing chandeliers, awesome lights, beautiful gardens, lovely thrones and pedestals. I'm super extra so I got my own stuff but there's no need. Our bridal suite was beautiful and stocked with snacks, food and drinks. Even the elevator had chandeliers. The place is just so beautiful and elegant. Food: So I was so nervous that day I barely ate but there was so much food that everyone is still telling me about how full they were. There were options for everyone from Salmon to steak to chicken to eggplant pasta. The cocktail hour had soooo much food that everyone was full. They thought that was dinner because there was so much. Then the open bar had it all. The dinner was so amazing. From appetizer to entree. Then more food came out such as the cake and a dessert platter. Everyone was beyond full that night and everyone said the food was amazing. Even the pickiest of eaters cleared their plates. Staff: Leonards Palazzo has THE BEST STAFF EVER. Ryan was our go to guy. He answered his phone/emails at any time when I had my crazy requests. He was flexible with our requests and always came through with results. He made sure our wedding was very personalized to us. Like asking us about our culture so we could personalize the menu. Ryan always checked in to make she we were ok before the wedding and the day of. I did not have a wedding planner or day of coordinator because who needs one but thank god I didn't. Leonards staff were my day of coordinators. My matre'd and bridal attendant were awesome. The day before I dropped off all the wedding decor and they were so detailed that everything the day of was exactly how I wanted it. They were very efficient and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Everything was perfect. They were always close behind in case I needed or wanted anything. I did not have to worry or do anything that day but show up and look cute because they handled everything. My wedding day was Perfect and it is all because I chose Leonards Palazzo to have my wedding. I would highly recommend.

Our suite was incredible we were getting help with everything (even my bussle which I had no idea how to use)and the staff was on top of EVERYTHING. I have not one complaint! Even my family had no complaints which is pretty much impossible for them! The food ....oh my god the food was amazing! The filet melted in my mouth and my guests are still raving about it. The staff was even kind enough to box up pastries for my guests! On top of this the vendors Ryan suggested especially the photographer were over the top as well. Our limo driver helped direct everyone down the aisle at our ceremony! Camelot limo is the way to go and Max photo did our incredible pictures. The cake was also amazing I forgot the vendors name but leonards only uses them and wow excellent stuff. This was one of the best experiences of our lives and we have Leonard's and their amazing staff to thank for that!

All of our guests - even our pickiest of eaters- raved about the food! The day goes by so quickly with all the things you have to do that I worried about having enough time to eat but thankfully Wendy made sure we sampled some of our yummy cocktail hour food and that we had a moment to ourselves - they even packed a box of food for us to enjoy the next day. Leonard's is a big place and there were other events going on as well but I barely even noticed because our bridal attendant and maitre D made sure to keep each event separated, and cleared parts of the lobby so we could have private photo time. Everything in our reception went smoothly as planned and we are so happy we booked with Leonard's.
