Lisa took care of everything on the day of our daughter's wedding, (down to delivering my husband's cocktail after his wedding toast speech). So easy to work with and her attention to detail is awesome.

We hired her for our 9/4/22 wedding as a Day-Of Coordinator, but she took a lot of time with us leading up to the wedding to confirm details/scheduling/etc. as we continued to set, change, and re-set plans. Lisa was there to run through our ceremony rehearsal, meet our wedding party and parents, and to become familiar with our synagogue’s space. Lisa is amazing! Lisa is unbelievable - she was so helpful in sourcing vendors, troubleshooting the random assortment of issues that come up on wedding day, and generally be a hugely calming presence for us (and our families!) We hired Lisa to be our day of coordinator, but she really provided so much more support than that - helping us find great vendors, working to build the layout of the space, and helping to coordinate our day after brunch. She was so thoughtful in her approach to all aspects of our wedding and is generally just a delight. She also was very enthusiastic in learning about the various traditional Jewish elements of our ceremony, even though they were previously unfamiliar to her. If you don’t want to be stressed- hire Lisa! She is amazingly fun to work with, takes care of details, & truly helps you enjoy the wedding experience. I am a corona-bride who had to completely change my wedding and Lisa was there every step of the way. She helped me make a spontaneous mini wedding come true. She had great advice and I felt like I had a wedding expert on my team when picking vendors and negotiating changes. When my family was stressing me out, Lisa was a listening ear. Lisa provided tremendous support throughout the planning process and wedding day, including great flexibility with a change of both date and venue. We hired Lisa as our day of coordinator! Wow, what a necessary thing to do! EVERYONE needs a Lisa on their wedding day. The attention to detail made me feel like Lisa was a part of the planning the entire time. She had her "tool belt" full of things we needed all day. She even ran out to get eyelash glue when I cried my lashes off after the ceremony. Lisa handled so many small details that added up to be major things- the set up of the special details, picking up the favors, greeting guests, handling questions, managing vendors & timeline. She even drove everything back to our hotel suite. When we arrived, everything (including the seating chart, votive candles, photos, etc.) were placed nicely back in the suite all boxed up. My husband and I loved working with Lisa. She helped us find vendors, coordinated all of the vendors on our wedding day, and really helped keep me sane throughout the process. Our meetings were like hanging out with a friend which helped relieve my anxiety. I had a big dream of trees in a historic ballroom and she saw the vision and helped me believe it was possible, AND THEN made it happen! I was so excited and our wedding was fantastic!

We hired Lisa as our wedding planner for a late outdoor October Wedding. We had a 2 year long engagement and she was with us every step of the way. Her and my now wife kept in close contact about all the details, they met occasionally to plan or to meet other vendors, and she really kept us in check when our work schedules got overbearing. When the day finally came, Lisa was on the ball the whole day. It rained and when we knew we were going to have to move inside, she fixed everything to make sure it was still beautiful and special. She really kept everything organized on a day where we were scatterbrained and things were looking more chaotic. We were wed without a hitch thanks to her despite many wrenches being thrown her way. At the end of the night, she was the last one still working, ensuring all our gifts made it to our hotel. I really can't speak any more highly of her and would recommend her to any couple getting married. She made a lengthy and sometimes overwhelming process seem seamless, and the day itself ended up being the best day ever. I'll forever be grateful for all the hard work she put into it.

Hiring Lisa to be our day-of coordinator was easily one of the best decisions we made during our planning process! SHE IS AMAZING! I had been doing most planning from New Jersey, and was recommended by a very close friend to reach out to Lisa. Right off the bat... she had vendors, ideas, and made me feel totally confident that she would help us to pull together the perfect day. She was communicative, extremely helpful when organizing details with vendors, and was always willing to go the extra mile to help us. She also checked in when I hadn't replied to an important email which I was incredibly thankful for. Her assistance with the wedding party and guests day-of was unmatched and I cannot thank her enough for helping our day to run so incredibly smoothly! Lisa alleviated all of my stresses from planning out of state- She kept me calm, pulled together all of my crazy decoration ideas the day before (during a crazy downpour at our run through!). Lisa made sure each and every detail was executed, and surprised us with the greatest gift of all: Dominic, the petting zoo donkey, serving beer and spiked seltzer during our cocktail hour. He was the talk of the party, and the last puzzle piece that Lisa pulled together behind the scenes that wowed us yet again!! I strongly recommend hiring LG Event Design for your day, not only because of the incredible experience we had as a couple, but because I know that Lisa genuinely cares about her clients and that she will go above and beyond to make sure everything goes as planned. And even if things get a little mixed up and don't go as planned, Lisa will be there, utility belt handy, to help anyone who might have been stung by hornets before the ceremony, if the groom cuts his knuckles and needs band-aids, or a bridesmaid needs help applying her eyeliner (these are all scenarios that popped up that were handled flawlessly by our Wonder Woman, Lisa!!) You'd be foolish to hire anyone other than LG Event Design for your party planning needs- I hope we have the chance to work with her again in the future!

Our wedding would not have happened without Lisa. When we first met with her, we had a vision, a laundry list of things to do and a beautiful venue that supplied the refreshments…and nothing else. Lisa, like the godsend that she is, turned our dream into a reality. She went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was truly special. She showed us her “wedding bible” she had created for us that outlined all the major tasks that needed to be accomplished before the “I do’s” could be said. She handled communications with vendors, including setting up and attending meetings the them. She gave us her honest advice on whatever issues we were having. When we started to freak out that something was going wrong, Lisa was there to calm our nerves. You name it, she had an answer for it. And just when we thought that Lisa couldn’t get any better, the Big Day arrived, and she really shined. She was at the venue from the crack of dawn until 4am the next day. Lisa beautifully setup the location exactly as we had envisioned. She made each of us our own special “emergency wedding day kit” that had everything from snacks and drinks to sewing kits and Tide pens. She coordinated the timeline, vendors, and wedding party with military precision. When the caterer got behind on busing tables, there was Lisa grabbing every dirty dish that she could carry. When someone got sick and made a mess in the bathroom, there was Lisa with the rubber gloves on. When we say our wedding would not have happened with out Lisa, we truly mean it. We are forever grateful for all her hard work and dedication. We HIGHLY recommend that you choose Lisa as your wedding planner…you will be wasting your time trying to find someone better!

As a floral provider for over 80 weddings each season, we work with many brides and event planners/coordinators. Lisa was exceptional. She was responsive, set up all the meetings and consultations, attended those meetings and provided a great connection between our designers and the couple. After one of our meetings she even illustrated a drawing of a ceremony arch I described and it was spot on! From the vendor perspective, Lisa is THE choice to make your day a success!

When people tell you that hiring a wedding planner was the best money they ever spent or that it was worth every penny, I believe it to be true. When people tell you that hiring Lisa as your wedding planner was the best money ever spent or that it was worth every penny, I KNOW it to be true. I started at the Ford Field bridal show. I just snagged as many fliers as I could there. After sorting through them days later, I put the few "wedding planner" cards off to the side. At that time, I did not think I would need one, nor was I in the market for one. As our big day, May 18th, 2019, approached, I started to realize all the details that needed to go into the day to make it run seamlessly and perfectly: all the different vendors, decorations, locations, timing. Frankly, I didn't want to have to worry about them on the day I was to marry my best friend. I also wanted my family and friends to be able to enjoy the day WITH ME. I had two appointments scheduled the day my (now) husband and I decided to "shop" for coordinators. Lisa was our first. Needless to say, we did not even need the second appointment because we instantly clicked with Lisa. She took the entire appointment to get to know us, our family & friends, our vision, and our wants and needs. We booked her as our "day of" coordinator but she did so much more. All of our contracts for different vendors were sent to her, we had numerous in person and phone meetings, she put an OCD-soothing timeline together, double/triple checked vendor times & locations, and the list goes on. She even came to our wedding shower to meet all the "key people" (parents, bridal party, our "Executive Ring Bearer", etc.). She made us feel special by posting on social media, "shouting us out", leading up to the big day. After coordinating our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner and accommodating all of our quirky requests, Lisa assured us that we were ready to say "I do!". When the big day arrived, I knew I had my go-to girl for everything. She started the day early with visits to us girls & the guys. She picked up breakfast for us (with an included stop to Meijer for fruit), kept us on track, and calmed nerves from ANYONE as needed. She set up, transferred, tore down, made our hotel room cute and cozy, & even made sure I took my bc pill (haha)! She has everything you need on hand (or in apron) should a hiccup come up! To be honest, I'm not even sure if anything did go wrong that day... as she took care of it prior to it coming to my attention. Myself, my husband, our family, friends, and guests were able to enjoy every second of the day and embrace what the day was really about. You truly don't understand the amount of work that goes into planning a wedding until you begin the process. Lisa was hired as our planner for day-of services but her services went beyond our expectations. When planning a wedding, there is aways budget to consider and LG Events was extremely affordable. Lisa managed all of our contracts with the vendors, met with us a few times out of the year to run through prioritized to-do lists, provided great suggestions and recommendations anywhere from linen rentals to simple set up ideas. We needed someone who could take our vision and bring it to life. We needed someone who could run-show, make quick decisions and handle the behind the scene things that you wouldn't know about as a guest. We highly recommend using a wedding planner and we highly recommend LG Events.

Lisa was absolutely fantastic! The day of our wedding we realized we forgot to pick up our marriage license! We had to take a 30 minute trip to the county clerk to pick it up that day. Lisa took care of everything else. She picked up our flowers, our dessert, got us lunch and a ton other things, so we focus on our day. She was invaluable on our wedding day. She’s also a very kind and fun person!

BEST WEDDING PLANNER EVER! Lisa kept me sane through an over year long process and made the wedding of our dreams a reality. She took care of everything, and when I say everything, I mean down to the smallest details...EVERYTHING. She made my life so easy. Not only did she make this enjoyable because she organize, makes awesome wedding binders and has the ability to keep anyone on track, but she is an amazing person. She was so patient with me when I changed my mind a hundred times and freaked out about spacing for the seating chart. On top of that, she is funny and easy to love. She also has a kick ass DJ/MC connection, along with many other vendor contacts...but seriously we had the best DJ/MC, probably ever. The day of went like clockwork, and if anything did go wrong, Lisa just took care of it without me even knowing. It was a stress free day and I had time to concentrate on the things that really mattered. I would, and have recommended her to all my friends, even the ones that are not engaged yet. HIRE HER!!! Because words are used that sound like a made-up language, flowers exist that I could never find at a florist even with a map and picture-guide, and things come together on Pinterest, but for the most part, Pinterest is a big fat lie. I would never have known this without having the very best in the metro-Detroit industry as our wedding planner which we weren't sure was a necessary expense - oh, but how she was the Wedding Fairy Godmother. Everyone knew her as 'Lisa Wedding Wonder'. My indisputably talented wedding planner made every part of wedding planning process a dream. She knows the ins for majority of vendors within the Metro Detroit area. The love for her by the biggest and best in the industry even got as extras and discounts for going through her. I said 'New Year's Eve', she said, 'make it art deco/Jazz Age. Think Gatsby'. I said 'nothing less than fabulous', and she said 'brand it with style'. No matter what wedding or event you are having, you'd be wise to use Lisa Gebhardt of LG Event Design to plan it because this wedding was everything even Disney could never help me dream of, and I could not adore her more for making things happen during a tough 2016 year as she has. Personal, professional, goes above and beyond - she actually was the MVP of my bridal party. Even if you can't afford wedding planner services, contract her for day-of. I cannot stress enough how much it takes the worry and weight off of brides and their family to have a day-of coordinator. Everything was flawless and executed perfectly. She checked-in. She CLEANED my train with our venue vendor representative before we greeted our guests after photographs. Her recommendations for everything were spot on and kept us well within budget. Cupcakes at my wedding shower were divine and gorgeous
