moments of being overwhelmed. The week of the wedding, her communication went above and beyond for us. I was able to remove my normal planner hat during the process to really relax, take in all the moments, and feel very present on our day because of wonderful she was. She brought our vision to life and we couldn’t of asked for a better day. We are so grateful that she was recommended to us and would recommend her to everyone for their future California wedding needs!

She truly listened to what mattered to us and consistently advocated for me when things felt overwhelming. Knowing she was in our corner made all the difference She also went above and beyond in ways that don’t always show up in contracts — allowing us to ship all of our wedding items to her, thoughtfully assembling our welcome bags, and handling countless details so we didn’t have to stress. On the wedding weekend, everything felt seamless, and I was able to actually enjoy the experience knowing Lia had everything handled. Lia is professional, kind, and incredibly capable — and working with her felt like working with a friend who just gets it. I’m so grateful we found her and can’t recommend her enough.

When we started working together, we already had the venue and several vendors selected or at least narrowed down, and after taking over as the planner, Lia provided minimal support here despite her plan to drive vendor communication with ad hoc involvement and input from me to review proposals, etc. I was still running the show by myself with her simply cc’d. She did not participate on the email chains or join any vendor calls. Mind you, we were also buying a house during all of this, so I felt increasingly frustrated by her lack of proactivity or initiative to jump in and help us.  Over the subsequent few weeks, I felt more and more on my own and that Lia’s loyalty was with her vendor contacts, not with us as her clients, but we did not have the time or energy to drop her and start from scratch with someone new. She seemed visibly frustrated when we did not automatically go with her (often only one) vendor of choice and considered other strong options. When I did choose her florist, she ended up falling through. I felt like a bother when asking her for help and also felt shamed for proposing alternative / cost-saving ideas. Finally, when we chose to go with a different caterer over her “favorite,” (due to poor communication and customer service that she kept trying to justify), she decided to void our agreement and no longer plan our wedding ~2 months into the process. I am glad she returned our deposit because I’m not sure exactly what services I paid for besides a couple “update” calls I scheduled? 2 stars because I did like Lia as a person and I am leaving this feedback so she can genuinely improve her services. Because unfortunately I cannot recommend them. My fellow brides, best of luck to you!

y and smooth. She got to know our priorities and offered advice that made the evening super enjoyable for our guests. She drew on her wealth of experience with local vendors and gave me great suggestions. She knew all the quirks of our venue and offered clever workarounds to its limitations. The day of our wedding ran perfectly on time thanks to all of her diligent coordination behind the scenes. We got so many compliments from our guests on the entire wedding, and I’m so grateful for Lia’s seasoned advice and excellent execution. Thank you, Lia!
