with the staff that was there the day of the ceremony. While food was being served the staff was rude towards our guests and really seemed irritated that they were there. There was also supposed to be a vegetarian meal for one of the members of the wedding party and it was discussed beforehand but on the day of the ceremony there wasn’t one available. After dinner was over the staff very loudly cleaned tables during the first dances as well as in the middle of the Best Man/Maid of Honor speeches which was very distracting and made it very hard to hear what was said which I found extremely disrespectful. The staff was supposed to stay until the end of the night but left soon after dinner without letting anyone know. They also left the leftover food in the kitchen which we didn’t know about until cleaning up at the end of the night after our hungry guests had left. Overall Chef Pam was great and the food was good but the staff working the event left a bad taste in our mouth about the company.

d and I were off put by the meal from our tasting not being the same as the meal we were served. It tasted a lot different from what we expected so we were slightly disappointed. We also heard a lot of comments that the food was cold. I know that our wedding was over an hour from where their kitchen is, but if it was to be an issue, I wish we would have been told before hand! There were quite a few people who didn't show on the day of and one of parents asked for a second plate because of that and they did not let them have a second plate. Once we found this out, we were saddened because we still payed for the plate. Overall, their communication was great, but there were just some things that upset us.

The portions for guests were huge and everyone had high marks, especially for BBQ chicken and the mac & cheese. The customization was by far the best part. You don’t have to go for pre-made packages with no add-ons. For example, after our initial booking we later added on a coffee bar and a s’mores bar and it was no problem. Both ended up being a huge hit and were a delight. The price was reasonable and everyone left happy and well fed. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking to go above the standard dry chicken and green beans for your guests. Chef Pamela is an innovator and ready to make something really cool for your wedding or other event!

The food and service left me wanting to attend more weddings that she caters just to name a few Cajun chicken pasta, flight of meatballs during cocktail hour, and my favorite shrimp and crawfish étouffée. The dishes are flavorful but not spicy just delicious. The staff were professional and very attentive will be using Lighthouse Catering for any event in the future!

o one email. She gave me misinformation multiple times within the 6 months of planning after I had sent my deposit to secure my date. When my wedding was closer I had confirmed my guest count along with specifying the need for vegan meals and kids meals. I reconfirmed my menu 4 days before my wedding only to be extremely disappointed the day of. Not only did my vegan guests have no food options available, there were also no kids meals. Along with this, two appetizers were completely missing from my cocktail hour. We had also paid for 2 late snacks to be served ( a pretzel bar and street corn bar). As the night went on I found out the pretzels had been served at the cocktail hour and my street corn bar never showed up. All of these things had already been paid for so as you can imagine I was very upset. How can half of my menu that was paid for weeks before and confirmed days prior be completely missing? I had a set menu months before so it's not like there had been any last minute additions. Since I was leaving the country for my honeymoon my sister offered to contact the company in order to get a refund on all of the items missing. Chef Pamela was very unapologetic with her until she sent her screen shots of my invoice which quickly made her change her tune. It took weeks for her to send me the money that she owed me back and has never tried to reach out to me to apologize for ruining my menu. I find that very unprofessional. The only redeeming quality is the my guests did enjoy their dinner. When you have a once in a lifetime event and pay so much you would expect more from a company that has so many great reviews. I would steer clear of this company so that you aren't disappointed in your wedding day catering.

Our guests loved the popcorn (with hot Cheetos!), the pasta and taco stations and of course the late night snack of pretzels. Not only was the food delicious, but it was affordable! All the guests enjoyed the food from start to finish!! About 100 guests were served, all ate plentiful & there were no leftovers. It was delicious!! Pam, the chef, was easy to work with & is a ‘boss’ at her skill!! I will use them again if I ever need a catering service. And, I recommend them to everyone!!

The only thing that wasn't totally excellent was communication time with Kelly. Sometimes it was up to a week before hearing back over email. Other than that, they did a fabulous job and it was a relief knowing that they would take care of everything for dinner.

When we decided to go with them, they were very attentive on specifics and followed up with us, up until our day. Any changes the wife made, they did with a smile and didn't seem to be a problem at all (lol). I recommend Pamela and her crew for your catering needs. Me and the wife were so pleased and will be using them with future parties for sure!

took us on and ‘catered’ to our every need. The meals were excellent tasting and served with great care. The team of servers were wonderful and went above and beyond what was expected. Mom, dad, sister and cousins would go and make request of the servers and not once did they disappoint. Our guest were well taken care of and both parties had nothing but high praise. Kelli, the office manager, was always attentive and kept things well organized. Chef Pamela, cooked a great and tasteful meal. We were all very appreciative of her and all of her crew. Again, a great experience.

get a response. I was told 4 times Chef Pam would reach out to discuss what vegan meals would be served for my two guests that have a dietary preference. Never got the call, I asked multiple times to check in and see what else was needed from me and then a month before I was informed I would need to find tables. Being that our wedding was in October finding vendors or rentals that would deliver to us 1.5 hours away from the city was horrible. I reached out to the chef and it was handled immediately which I am grateful for. Then comes our actual wedding reception day…the two servers were AWESOME so helpful quick and efficient. They informed my husband and I that we were ready for service I asked them did the banana pudding have separate plates for service and they informed me they had no plates or silverware and that the chef said it wasn’t needed for the event. I spoke to the chef 2 days prior with my cousin in the car on speaker and confirmed 3 times THEY would be providing the plates and silverware. They called the chef to clarify and she confirmed we did not need them even tho we spoke about it and it was written on a piece of paper as a reminder and the staff had to remind her of the conversation she and I had. The staff had to leave and go meet her somewhere to gather the necessary, I called her to confirm they were nicer quality and not just something from Walmart and she confirmed. They were able to start service at 6:40. It wasn’t the delay that was upsetting it was the general disregard for her staff that infuriated me. Instead of owning the mistake and correcting it she tried to blame her staff for it and that just doesn’t sit well with me. We had a lot of children at our event and needless to say it was a wrench in our night that we did not expect and the only communication I got or reassurance was from the staff not the actual chef. Food is great but communication is not.

We paid for food for 150 people and only like 80 showed up and we ran out of food early. The ONLY thing they helped us with was the cake cutting and serving. Definitely was not prepared for a wedding, the knife for the cake was a typical steak knife not the traditional cake slicer. Definitely not worth the money we spent and again wouldn’t recommend them for anything
