We had a wonderful experience with Lily and Lime. Finding a photographer was like finding a needle in a haystack, but the search was worth it. The amount of hours and prices they offered was with in our budget. The communication with the company was mostly via email, but our questions and concerns were answered promptly. And lastly, our photographer was so very nice and easy to work with. He did some wedding coordination which is not his job, but he took it upon himself and this helped with the coordination of the pictures. Pictures turned out to be fantastic and I already made a photo album. I love my pictures.

On the wedding day, she made us feel soooo comfortable and even guided us on how to pose—which was such an important factor for me when choosing a photographer. Not only did she capture stunning formal portraits, but she also documented the best candid moments throughout the night. My bridal party and wedding guests couldn’t stop complimenting how fantastic she was—I mean, she really worked her butt off! She was friendly, warm, and made sure we were completely happy with her. My wedding took place on 2/23/25, and Lily & Lime sent me a preview of some photos. While the ones posted in the reviews are watermarked, they assured me that the final photos (delivered 6-8 weeks after the wedding) will be fully edited and watermark-free. ou on the photographer's behalf. Don't fall for it! Instead, you'll get miscommunication and terrible management from a company that has clearly grown too big for it's strategy. I used Lily & Lime for my wedding in May 2023. The planning was simple enough to select a photographer and videographer and choose a package. Then, you spend a long time completing a detailed schedule for your wedding day with time allocated to the photographer and videographer with notes and details that I'm not sure they ever read thoroughly. My friend had to step in to correct things the photographer should have noticed like hair out of place, awkward posing or positioning of groups, distractions in the background... If you expect more guidance for poses, request this in bold far in advance because our photographer did not take initiative. This could also be due to her not feeling well and texting me as I was getting my hair done the morning of my wedding, saying she might not make it! This felt like something she should have coordinated directly with Lily & Lime to have a backup plan in place before alarming me. After the wedding, we got initial edits back rather quickly (maybe 6 weeks) but this was clearly because someone just rushed through them with an "auto-enhance" feature. My husband is dark skinned and I'm light. Combined with a somewhat sunny/light clouds day, every photo was over-corrected to make us extremely lighter than reality and wash out the sky completely. I honestly don't see myself as being that picky but these were bad. I'm not sure whether it was more the fault of the photographer or the editors but the result was MONTHS of waiting for edits back, no replies from the customer service team or promising me calls back that never came. It became my responsibility to follow-up with them repeatedly for updates instead of the other way around, or I probably wouldn't even have my photos back yet. I wish I had just booked directly with a photographer who is invested in their own business succeeding rather than this collection of folks who feel disengaged and disinterested in producing top-quality work because the fault can just be placed among the many people you'll need to coordinate with.

ched what we wanted - and BOY did he deliver! I cannot emphasize enough how much we appreciated Ashton P's energy and efficiency during our wedding. We got to speak with him a few days before the wedding to talk through timeline and shot list, most of which did not match the L&L template, but he rolled with it so well. I will acknowledge, if you are a bride who needs photographer reassurance and information way ahead of the few days before the big day, maybe pick a different vendor, because there was absolutely no communication from our photographer until then, even though we paid all the installments. That being said, L&L responded promptly to every neurotic email I sent, so it wasn't bad for us. Lily & Lime was such an awesome bang for our buck - pick your photographer well, and be comfortable sending emails sometimes, and you're golden.

t even tell me that the location of the engagement photo was a problem until a month after I requested to book it and after I had contacted them several times to get an update. Then they told me I could either choose a closer location or pay travel fees. I had already paid travel fees. And a closer location to where? I don't know where 'where' is. When you book a package with them, they let you choose from a selection of photographers. I don't know where these people live and if my wedding was too far away for them that they would need additional travel fees then they shouldn't have been an option in the first place. I decided that they were too unreliable for me to work with but I had already made my first payment. Contacting someone to get a refund on that was difficult and when I told them about my dissatisfaction they had no interest in trying to turn things around or keep me. They let me know that in order to get a refund I have to sign a cancellation document that they are going to send via email and then eventually my refund will be given to me with a check set in the mail. Basically they're making it as hard as possible for me to get my money back even though they haven't rendered any services to me. Don't go with this company. I think you'll regret it.

She checked in with us thru the night to make sure we were feeling good and if we had come up with any additional shots that we missed or thought of on the spot. She also accepted shots of family, by request. We just got our prints this week. They came out exactly they way they viewed on the computer. We also have the entire set of digital photos. photos to really edit well, and the rest are average. I ended up sorting through +3,000 of the photos, choosing about 75, and editing them myself on my phone. It doesn’t give the same wow-factor that I see in other people’s wedding photos. We were also a bit disappointed that despite having 2 photographers, there were no closeup shots nor straight-on ones of my husband’s face as I came down the aisle. Overall, it was a lovely wedding day but the final results are underwhelming.

additional edited photos to make up for the awful service/product, but only if I removed my negative review. I felt it was more important to give an honest review, than get a free book. I chose them as they seemed to offer a team of professional photographer that they boast will all meet the standard of photos shown on their website. They provided the name of the photographer a couple weeks out and his portfolio wasn’t available on their site. That should have been my first red flag. I provided a list of photos I wanted (i.e. bride with mother, all immediate family with couple, etc) and the photographer said he couldn’t manage/review the list and said it had to be someone else. Obviously this led to some photos being missed. He kept saying he needed to change the light or the angle. I was married on a beautiful large barn property and none of my photos showcase that. Some of the photos were taken with the road in the background 🤦🏻‍♀️ I asked for photos by a pond or this pretty oak tree. He did neither. he said the pond wasn’t showing up well due to lighting and the tree had lighting issues as well. Yet later all my guests had beautifully taken iPhone pictures showing the pond, tree and general landscape of the property. We had a bond fire. My husband smoked cigars with his friends, I specifically asked the photographer to get photos. And he only took general pics mostly of people standing around and not even facing the photographer. None of my husband with his friends. He didn’t ask people to scoot in or turn to the left/right. The group photos are awful. And I even gave examples of pictures from Pinterest. If I had a chance to do it over, I would have gone with my original idea of have a photo hunt list at each guest seat and had my guests be photographers to capture fun moments. All of my guests photos were better than the professional photographer. And sadly, we could not afford a very expensive photographer. We are still waiting for the video. Fingers crossed it’s way better.

Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service. Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget. Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner. If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful. CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner. The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened. Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would. I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line. I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

mazing shots on our special day. They were laid back, not too pushy, and gave us some really special photos of our day that we would not have gotten otherwise. Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive. Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

apher based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint! I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it. During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop. We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day. Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them. Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.
