I booked Lily & Lime for my October 2025 wedding. Eight months later, all I have to show for it are poor-quality photos and no satisfactory wedding video.
When I was researching v...endors, Lily & Lime had excellent reviews and impressive portfolios. The pricing seemed reasonable for the services promised, but unfortunately, that was not the experience we received.
When I booked, I selected my lead photographer and signed my contract. After booking, communication was minimal. A few months before the wedding, I was informed that my original lead photographer was no longer available and that I would need to choose someone else. After making a new selection, I heard very little from the company until the week of my wedding.
The photography was one of the biggest disappointments. I expected a professional photographer to provide direction, organize groups, and create well-composed images. Instead, many group photos consisted of people simply standing together with little guidance, resulting in cluttered and unflattering compositions. Numerous photos include the videographer in the background—or even directly in front of the moment being photographed. Most group shots were taken in portrait orientation, leaving people on the ends blurry, and there are multiple images where either my face or my husband's face is partially cut off. Prior to the wedding, I specifically requested photos of our decorations, candid photos of our guests, and photos with our guests. Unfortunately, very few of these were delivered. Throughout the day, the photographer repeatedly asked questions such as, "Are we done?". While some input from the couple is expected, I hired a professional because I wanted someone who knew how to direct and capture important moments without needing constant instruction. I should not have had to micromanage my wedding photographer.
The videographer did a decent job capturing footage during the event. There were a few awkward angles and some shaky shots, but overall the raw footage appeared usable. The real problem was the editing. The edited videos have been extremely disappointing. Important moments are missing, the audio contains static, the music choices do not reflect what was requested, and the overall quality feels rushed, unprofessional, and boring. After raising these concerns, I was asked to provide detailed revision notes. I did exactly that and clearly outlined the necessary changes. Despite receiving three separate revisions, many of the same issues remain. The static audio has not been properly corrected, important moments are still missing, and the videos continue to fall far below the standard I expected. To make matters worse, I had to pay extra to obtain the raw footage. After eight hours of filming, the final product was a roughly 50-minute video that still fails to adequately capture our wedding day.
Wedding photos and videos are meant to preserve memories that last a lifetime. Instead, this experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and exhausting. While the videographer showed promise during the event itself, the photography quality, editing process, communication, and final deliverables did not meet the professional standards we were promised. After eight months, multiple revision requests, and additional expenses, I still do not have a wedding video that I am happy with.
I cannot recommend Lily & Lime based on my experience.
