this review isn’t as great. Sigh.)
After much consideration of whether we were going to get a pro photographer at all, then deciding WHICH photographer to get, I found Lily & Lime. I reached out to them in November 2024 with my wedding being April 2025. I have absolutely NO complaints. Their team was professional, kind, and helpful throughout the whole process. I appreciate how it was affordable to us as college students, that we could pay in chunks, so to speak. I especially loved the online personal planning area they provide once you have an account set up with them; it made things so much easier for me to be able to figure out what I needed to know so that I could also tell our photographer what I wanted before we even met! Right before the wedding, we then spoke with her over the phone for the first time to finalize details, and on April 3, wedding day, we met Brittani! We had her for 5.5 hours, and she did such a phenomenal job. We were truly blown away by how she alone captured photos of every detail we could imagine – from me, my bridesmaids, my husband, his groomsmen, to our ceremony, surrounding area, reception, cake, and dance, not to mention the most beautiful couple photos we’ll probably ever have. In the end she got almost 2,000 photos! In such a short span of time! Not only this, but she was a pleasure to work with; I am not comfortable in front of the camera or strangers, but she almost felt more like a family friend than someone we had just met. After a bit of wait, we got a sneak peek of our photos with her favorite pics, 75 or so, which were amazing. Then the rest! It was so worth being patient for. We will nevereverever regret investing in this, as we have gotten in return many hours of gushing over these photos, sharing them with friends and family, putting quite a few in our work-in-progress album, and overall just having the treasure of these memories in physical form. day of the wedding she was extremely helpful with providing tips to improve shots. Savannah the associate photographer was wonderful too. They were both patient especially with our large wedding party that included children and a groom that did not pay attention to the timeline! They captured wonderful images of the day and night that I enjoy going back to look at remembering our wedding day. The shots were really good making it hard to determine the images I wanted print. Thankfully we were able to get all the images in digital format. I did not have a need to reach out for customer support prior to the event or after as all things aligned.
The company does allow you to make payments if that is needed and can be done on your own without the need to contact customer support. This is a great options for couple trying to monitor and budget as weddings can get expensive!

r. They were all GREAT! So kind and helpful throughout the day/series of events and helped to keep our schedule running smoothly too. And even when thrown a curveball with cold May rain for our planned outdoor wedding, they came up with great options for alternative photo and video options when our outside ideas were no longer an option. They continually made us feel comfortable and unrushed. We received our videos pretty quickly after the wedding, but did have to wait the max amount of time for our photo suite. Without asking her, Erica jumped in and helped us set up the cake/cupcakes, arrange seating, set up/break down food, and helped us transition between rooms for different parts of the wedding. Her photography was great. She was clear and decisive in getting people in position and was clever in setting up alternative locations for pictures since it was raining during the wedding. Overall we would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

As with any company, there were some downsides like a comparatively hefty change of date fee, even though it was 8 months before the wedding. We got a handful of photos back after being edited. Some of them are really great but a few we look really tired and red, that's how we truely looked but I'm a little surprised they were selected as "favorites". I'm not sure what the pricing scale is like to get our prints, but all packages include the digital negatives which means we can print them ourselves and share with family and friends.

we loved! They told us six to eight weeks to get all of our photos for download, but we had them all less than a month later! There are so many great portraits of me and my husband, we absolutely love the pictures! I really liked that I had to give my photographer a very detailed list of all the pictures we wanted beforehand, especially for all of the combinations we wanted with family pictures (I have a big extended family, so writing it out seemed like it would be helpful). However, my photographer didn't have that list, so at my wedding is was still my job to track down all the family members and organize the different groups myself. I was expecting her to call out the names we had written down for each family picture rather than me trying to remember all of the combinations of pictures we wanted. Also, since there were two photographers I wish they had spent some time at the reception making sure that they tried to get a a few nice pictures of people dancing, like my parents or other couples (especially couples in the bridal party). Those would have been pictures that others would have liked. I wish I could give 4.5 stars instead of whole numbers because my complaints are so minor compared to the quality of the pictures, the amount of pictures, the speed they got them to us, and the ease with using the Lily and Lime system online. Would definitely recommend!

I looked at his portfolio to choose him beforehand. I was able to have a conversation with him before the wedding. He was really great to work with! I would recommend Lily and Lime especially if you are looking for an affordable photographer and don’t need that much contact with the him or her before booking. It worked out well for us!

ill out what you expect your timeline to look like for the photographer to prepare. Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service.
Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.
If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

ared to going direct to the photographer/videographer. The Lily & Lime process and platform was straight forward and if we were ever confused or had questions L&L support team was on it. The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful.
CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

We were given a discount code in an email from Lily & Lime which we used to buy a photography package for our wedding. We paid a deposit to get locked in and the website displayed ...
two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.
