She then connected with our wedding coordinator, dj, & photographer. She even came to our rehearsal to offer guidance. We were her last wedding of the season, so she made sure to make it memorable.
Finally, Nora has been patient & helpful during the editing process. I can’t wait to see the final results after our edits have been made.
I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because we got our highlight video at the same time as our main video & since I wanted to edit both, we still can’t share the highlight video. It would’ve been nice to have this maybe a month (2 max) after our wedding to give a tease of what to look forward to.

story short the photographer “lost” a big portion of our photos. The portion that included the only family and sibling photos as well as all the individual bridesmaid/groomsmen photos we had from the day.
After noticing they were missing, we inquired and were strung along for months being told they were still being processed and we’d have them soon. After 3+ months of back and forth we finally received an apology and were offered a free photo book as a solution.
Now we are left without any photos with our siblings, or individual photos with our wedding party and can never get this day or these photos back.

Lily and Lime Photography and videography was more than we could have hoped for. Our wedding was in another state than we live and not many family/friends had recommendations for local photographers in the area of our event. Enter Lily & Lime....
We took a chance on an online ad and fell in love with what we saw. The process of selecting a photographer was so easy and we loved getting to look at available photographers portfolios. Looking at portfolios knowing they were available for our date was so helpful! When our wedding plans changed two weeks out from our date, they were extremely accommodating giving us an open postponement with no added fee. Then, when we had our new plans they switched things with no problem, and then when our plans had to change for a THIRD time they happily changed our event location, meaning hiring new photographers and videographer. They even gave us credit for purchasing photos because we had already paid a travel fee that no longer was needed. We are still trying to pick our photos to print because we love so many of them! Our videographer was absolutely amazing too; he took our desire for candid moments to heart and captured some really fantastic film. Even watching our highlight video gave me tears of joy. We HIGHLY recommend this company !

Day of we had two photographers and one videographer. Robert, the lead, directed the event with style, and the resulting pictures really show it! They took full advantage of the venue to capture some unique shots rather than just going through the motions. It really felt as though our day was special to them, too.

ere ecstatic to find the options with Lily and Lime. Our photographer (Shaun: Raleigh, NC) was excellent, professional, and captured an amazing selection of images throughout our day. We also got to work with him for our engagement shoot, which gave a perfect opportunity to get familiar with him. Truly, the photographer was the one vendor that was most important to us, and we are so happy with the choice we made. Additionally, Lily and Lime offered thorough and friendly customer service (shout out to Nigel!) throughout the process, as well as an amazingly fast turn-around on our images. We may have lucked out by getting married in a bit of an off-season, but both our engagement and wedding photos were returned to us (fully edited) in just a couple of weeks! We also received "editor's choice" selections of a handful of images for each after only a few days.
Overall, our experience with Lily and Lime was overwhelmingly positive. As long as you take the time to look through the photographers' portfolios and pick one that you feel speaks to you/suits your personal style, I don't think you could go wrong here!

First, you choose the location of our event and find photographers in the area. Then, you can review each photographer's portfolio and book them for your event. They have various packages available so you can pick the one that works best for your needs/budget.
We loved the transparency of the service, and the interactive customer service we've received so far. All communication with the company is done via email, but they have been very responsive and we've had no issues.
The week of our engagement shoot, our photographer reached out and asked if we were still okay with the scheduled date since there was a chance of rain. He offered to push out the date a few days later so we could have sunshine, and worked with us on finding another date which worked well for our busy schedules.
We are so happy we didn't have to compromise between our budget, great photographer, and quality customer service!! Highly recommend!!!

Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.

CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.

I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. A little over a week before our wedding, I was able to chat on the phone with my photographer (Jennifer). She was so awesome, not only before the wedding, but also throughout our wedding day! She stuck to my timeline and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted taken. She helped me remember all the shots I wanted (phew! sigh of relief!), got candids and even more shots that I never would have thought to get. She kept my whole day on time and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. I usually hate getting my picture taken (I am plus sized) but I hardly noticed she was there unless we were doing formal pictures. The pics all turned out great and she did an amazing job at making me look flattering all day long. I would certainly hire her again for any future photography needs! Editing is turned back over to L&L after the wedding, and all of our pics turned out amazing! We received almost 1200 pictures (over 500 edited) and I am so happy with the volume of pictures Jennifer got for us. She didn't miss a moment and the edited pictures look lovely! Instead of an engagement shoot, we just met with her the week before the wedding at the venue so we could walk around together and plan where we would take the pictures. The turnaround time was unbelieveable! We got our pictures back just a few weeks after our wedding and the video about a month after that. We were given a few edits which I really appreciated to get everything just right. We purchased the raw video footage which allowed us to add some priceless clips that weren't included in the original video. We were even able to customize the preview video!

Their prices were significantly cheaper than any other photographer we received quotes from. The website and customer service was excellent. It really made working with them so easy - and one less thing to worry about while planning a wedding.
The day of the wedding we met our photographer. She was great! It worked out too because she spoke Spanish - and my husbands parents are from Mexico and only speak Spanish. She made everyone feel comfortable. She got some awesome shots and was flexible with our crazy wedding party! She hit almost every picture I put on a long shot list.
We received our photos on time and there were a lot more than I had anticipated. I think we even got them a few days earlier. The website was easy to use and allowed our guests and families to view the photos. Making it easier for me to send the link to folks to just download the photos they wanted.
