She always responded quickly to any of our questions and made sure we were good to go up to the wedding day. Chris our videographer arrived early to the venue and was very professional and courteous of our big day. He was friendly and personable and helped make our day come true. photographer until one week before the wedding date. I was three days out from our event and I still had NO idea who was coming to photograph our special day (if anyone at all). My wedding coordinator wanted to communicate our timeline for the day, go over details, and specifics of what we wanted to capture. While we were able to speak with our photographer 2 days prior to the wedding, I don’t believe stressing over something SO important as who and how your special day should be captured by your photographer should not be one more thing to worry about.
I would recommend that they make the communication window at least 2-4 weeks in advance to the event and to have customer service be more personal instead of just generic emails from corporate.

only make more questions. It makes me truly believe that the staff at Lily and Lime have no idea what they are doing. We are ashamed we signed a contract with such a horrible company. They will (hopefully) be shooting our engagement photos in a week and boy what a hassle it has been. Be prepared to have to do everything and have nobody give you any sort of helpful or consistent help. Its not like we should expect the staff at a photography company to know how to smoothly setup a photo shoot right? That is Lily and Limes opinion! We are terrified to have them shoot our wedding, and have unfortunately been lowering our expectations significantly. We regret not having gone with a more professional company.

Corey mugged and danced in front of our guests before the ceremony and during the reception; told the groom his sister was a *****; made inappropriate comments about the attractiveness of the teen girls in attendance; told the mother of the bride to "calm down" when she commented on his complaints that he couldn't fit the entire family into the picture. When our wedding coordinator asked Corey to behave more professionally, he complained about her to the groom and the coordinator's assistant. Corey was a huge embarrassment for us and the photos weren't great either. Bottom line: make sure you can personally interview your photographer and dig deeper than the online pictures and reviews.
This was as close to a nightmare I could imagine. While I can't speak to all the photographers' professionalism, I can definitely say our (his name was Cory) was terrible. Some of the
highlights included telling the groomsmen to look "retarded"...
and "like douchebags" while taking photos and telling the mother of the bride to "chill." He also tried to insult the sister of the groom, to the groom, and made multiple flirtatious comments towards the best man making him uncomfortable.
In addition the extreme lack of professionalism, we only ended up with 3 quality photos of the groom and I. Cory pushed us to take photos we didn't want to take while skipping the photos we specifically requested. He also held up moments of the reception to set up shots that could have been set up during down time. Instead he was on the dance floor, interrupting
special moments.
I detested this experience and can't look at my wedding photos without being reminded of how terrible Cory was. I highly recommend looking for another vendor.

We went with 1 photographer for 8 hours and it was the best deal I could find out there after looking up about 10 photographers prices in the metroplex. The photographer we chose (Chris in DFW) had amazing reviews/photographs to look over before we picked who our photographer would be (had the option of about 5 people to pick from). We got our Editor’s Choice pictures (about 45 pics) 2 weeks after the wedding and all the others were ready to be downloaded about 4 weeks after the wedding! Chris went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable while taking photos and even had us all laughing up a storm at times 😊. He also did an awesome job capturing me and my husband - we aren't the most photogenic couple out there!
Overall I would definitely recommend Lily & Lime to anyone who is looking for a fairly priced & awesome photographer for an event!

CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.

I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

Lily & Lime seemed like it was too good to be true at first. I combed through all of the reviews to be sure they were a real company, and finally took the big leap by purchasing one of their base packages with a discount.
From start to finish...
they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!

She is an absolutely amazing photographer - her work is just beautiful - but her personality is the icing on the cake. She's knowledgeable and professional, but also super friendly and fun. My husband and I were a little nervous that working with a photographer we didn't know well would feel awkward/uncomfortable, but that flew out the window as soon as we met Leah. Seriously - we can't recommend her highly enough!

I got to choose my photographer out of many local photographers and I was able to review all of their work before making a decision. A little over a week before our wedding, I was able to chat on the phone with my photographer (Jennifer). She was so awesome, not only before the wedding, but also throughout our wedding day! She stuck to my timeline and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted taken. She helped me remember all the shots I wanted (phew! sigh of relief!), got candids and even more shots that I never would have thought to get. She kept my whole day on time and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. I usually hate getting my picture taken (I am plus sized) but I hardly noticed she was there unless we were doing formal pictures. The pics all turned out great and she did an amazing job at making me look flattering all day long. I would certainly hire her again for any future photography needs! Editing is turned back over to L&L after the wedding, and all of our pics turned out amazing! We received almost 1200 pictures (over 500 edited) and I am so happy with the volume of pictures Jennifer got for us. She didn't miss a moment and the edited pictures look lovely! I wish we would have been able to choose a videographer and see a couple full wedding videos to know what to expect or what we would want to include. I also wish we could have met or had contact with our photographer and videographer beforehand. In order to meet our photographer, we had to pay for an engagement session which my husband did not want at all. Instead of an engagement shoot, we just met with her the week before the wedding at the venue so we could walk around together and plan where we would take the pictures. It was a lifesaver but an expensive meeting!
The turnaround time was unbelieveable! We got our pictures back just a few weeks after our wedding and the video about a month after that. We were given a few edits which I really appreciated to get everything just right. We purchased the raw video footage which allowed us to add some priceless clips that weren't included in the original video. We were even able to customize the preview video!

The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info. I'm not sure if it is part of the process or something that our photographer chose to do, but he reached out to us that day to introduce himself. We talked about the important parts of our wedding and certain shots we would like to capture. Within a week we received a sneak peek of our photos and told the full album would be ready within 6-8 weeks. Approximate 2 weeks later we received the full album.
There are a decent number of shots that we plan to include in our album. Unfortunately our photographer had a background in photo journalism rather than portrait photography so not all of our personal or family portraits came out as hoped.

ld trust. Then we found Lily & Lime. We chose the basic $1100 package for one photographer and unlimited locations for 6 hours. We browsed photographers and found a wonderful woman named Leda with a great portfolio. Now the catch is that you don’t talk to your photographer until about a week before. But surprisingly, we didn’t feel stressed about that. We filled in all the information about our wedding online and Leda called a week before to confirm details. She was highly qualified and I knew we could trust her. She got over 700 photos of our day, edited them beautifully, and we received them within a month of our wedding. The negatives were released shortly after. Lily & Lime customer service responds to inquiries within 24 hours too so if you have a question they are always there.
Honestly, I didn’t worry one bit about the photos. Lily & Lime takes care of it all. Save yourself the money and the stress.

When the photographer herself called, she said worked for wrong company, which almost caused me to cancel on accident because I told her that was not the company we hired. I found the billing very confusing. There was no confirmation and it forced me to split it up into separate bills. These two things led to them accidentally overcharging me. They are planning on sending me a refund eventually.
Lastly, the I found the pictures really unflattering. Some important ones were oddly taken from outside, through the window. I unexpectedly preferred the amateur photos from my family members on their phones.
