r area and you can see their portfolio that they have on their website. However, there is no personal info for the photographers so that you can do your own research regarding their other work. Then, after I had paid and signed a contract for a photographer and videographer, the photographer I loved and who's work convinced me to go through this company was apparently already booked on the day of my wedding. Lily & Lime did do wonderfully by contacting me immediately and offering alterative portfolios to look through and choose a new photographer. This is the part that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. None of the alternative options had professional, seasoned wedding photographer portfolios. They all looked like portfolios of those that were new to wedding photography. I had to email them back asking for more options because I wasn't paying for that level of expertise. They did send a few more options, and as I felt like my back was against a wall and had already signed a contract, I settled on the least of the worst options. When the day of the wedding arrived, the photographer felt very overwhelmed and unorganized despite me providing a shot list to the company to give him. He constantly asked what I wanted photos of next and didn't take charge of taking many photos. And he and the videographer were rushing the bridal party and more importantly the MUA that was working on us. All of the rushing and questions eventually culminated in me having a panic attack and asking someone else to ask them to go take photos somewhere else so that I could calm down. Eventually the wedding did go on and I got some very good shots and lovely memories. However, for over 8+ hours of service and $3k paid, I received less than 400 photos back, which is on the very low end of the average amount of photos to get back for 8 hours of coverage. Many photos I only received one take of and someone is either talking, blinking or facing away. Overall, I do not regret my wedding day or anything that happened, and I did receive some very cherished photos that are special to me, but this company did let me down.

This is by far one of the most non-professional companies. First, the website is built in 4 separate stages and multiple passwords that will make it hard to place your order. That'...
s why, as someone with a very busy life am writing this a year later to explain how complicated this has been. Second, the photographer and videographer we had gotten, were not capturing the right moments. In the album viewing, there were photos of the wait staff and the wedding coordinator and maybe a handful of my family or my husbands family. All of the colors were bleached out as well. The edited photos were not cared for and it shows. Third, getting to the final print, I just received ill cropped photos that cut off people's faces and arms. It's just very sad getting my wedding experience back so poorly. They will charge for everything and they don't handle customers correctly.
Your wait time for your photos and videos will be 2-4 months.
Just please heed this as a warning because other than that my wedding was great. Not normally a bridezilla. But paying what I did for the quality and confusing websites I recieved? Don't do it. I feel very scammed.

Our photographer couldn’t have been better. He was truly professional and made the day so easy. Getting shots of things I did not even know I wanted. Catching the best posed as well as pictures that were candid and so natural. I would gladly work with him again in the future as well as this company as a whole.
With us being at the Dallas Zoo it made it easier in many ways for our photographer.
There’s not enough positives I can say. I cannot wait to get access to my album as soon as it becomes available. If you are getting married the price is well worth what you are going to spend and then some.
Our photographer did chat with us the week of the wedding and allowed our coordinating to be seamless. I loved having them call my maid of honor to check in and not having to worry about causing more stress on the day of.

1. When I signed up with Lily and Lime, I received no contract in soft copy or to be downloaded that spoke about the fact that the money is non fundable after x days of booking.

I do not recall reading any terms and conditions that had these criteria 3. I wrote to Lily and Lime customer care on January 13 and then 16th saying I want to cancel the photographer in April. 4. I then wrote to customer care again saying I did not receive any document for cancellation and none was sent to me even after this. 5. I was told that the money I paid cannot be refunded ($700) but that no further amount would be charged by the customer care when I spoke to them via telephone call. 6. That in itself is daylight robbery, I have not used the service from Lily and Lime, and yet I do not get an refund. I understand holding back a token amount but the whole amount? Clearly Lily and Lime have no ethics whatsoever. 7. I was then disturbed repeatedly during work hours today by someone called Courtney who said I had to pay an additional $420 when I repeat I cancelled the photographer exactly 3 months before the service was to be provided. Please avoid this company. Absolute rogues.

give you peace of mind by providing open communication with your photographer until one week before the wedding date. I was three days out from our event and I still had NO idea who was coming to photograph our special day (if anyone at all). My wedding coordinator wanted to communicate our timeline for the day, go over details, and specifics of what we wanted to capture. While we were able to speak with our photographer 2 days prior to the wedding, I don’t believe stressing over something SO important as who and how your special day should be captured by your photographer should not be one more thing to worry about.
I would recommend that they make the communication window at least 2-4 weeks in advance to the event and to have customer service be more personal instead of just generic emails from corporate.

be a day take 3+ days and we are always given vague answers that only make more questions. It makes me truly believe that the staff at Lily and Lime have no idea what they are doing. We are ashamed we signed a contract with such a horrible company. They will (hopefully) be shooting our engagement photos in a week and boy what a hassle it has been. Be prepared to have to do everything and have nobody give you any sort of helpful or consistent help. Its not like we should expect the staff at a photography company to know how to smoothly setup a photo shoot right? That is Lily and Limes opinion! We are terrified to have them shoot our wedding, and have unfortunately been lowering our expectations significantly. We regret not having gone with a more professional company.

ow smoothly our photos and videos went on our day. Our photographer and videographer were awesome with directions and were very professional. It was obvious that they were very talented and I had no worries with how everything was going to turn out.
Another great perk was that Lily & Lime swiftly took care of a situation where our original videographer tested positive with the Coronavirus right before our wedding. They quickly found someone else who was able to step in and she was wonderful. That's a great perk of working with Lily & Lime because they have so many talented people working with them. We didn't have to worry about a single thing.

ned out to be the worst wedding decision we made. Short list: Corey mugged and danced in front of our guests before the ceremony and during the reception; told the groom his sister was a *****; made inappropriate comments about the attractiveness of the teen girls in attendance; told the mother of the bride to "calm down" when she commented on his complaints that he couldn't fit the entire family into the picture. When our wedding coordinator asked Corey to behave more professionally, he complained about her to the groom and the coordinator's assistant. Corey was a huge embarrassment for us and the photos weren't great either. Bottom line: make sure you can personally interview your photographer and dig deeper than the online pictures and reviews.

highlights included telling the groomsmen to look "retarded" and "like douchebags" while taking photos and telling the mother of the bride to "chill." He also tried to insult the sister of the groom, to the groom, and made multiple flirtatious comments towards the best man making him uncomfortable.
In addition the extreme lack of professionalism, we only ended up with 3 quality photos of the groom and I. Cory pushed us to take photos we didn't want to take while skipping the photos we specifically requested. He also held up moments of the reception to set up shots that could have been set up during down time. Instead he was on the dance floor, interrupting
special moments.
I detested this experience and can't look at my wedding photos without being reminded of how terrible Cory was. I highly recommend looking for another vendor.

Lily & Lime had lots of packages ...
and options to choose from - so we weren't stuck with the typical 3 packages to pick from when booking a wedding photographer (we had already done our engagement photos). We went with 1 photographer for 8 hours and it was the best deal I could find out there after looking up about 10 photographers prices in the metroplex. The photographer we chose (Chris in DFW) had amazing reviews/photographs to look over before we picked who our photographer would be (had the option of about 5 people to pick from). We got our Editor’s Choice pictures (about 45 pics) 2 weeks after the wedding and all the others were ready to be downloaded about 4 weeks after the wedding! Chris went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable while taking photos and even had us all laughing up a storm at times 😊. He also did an awesome job capturing me and my husband - we aren't the most photogenic couple out there!
Overall I would definitely recommend Lily & Lime to anyone who is looking for a fairly priced & awesome photographer for an event!

ill out what you expect your timeline to look like for the photographer to prepare. Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service.
Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.
If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.
