We were so happy we chose Lily & Lime! We met our photographer, Christine, the day of the wedding and she was phenomenal! She was punctual, polite and professional. She knew how to keep it light and have fun but still stick to the timeline and move the day along. Their customer service team was also quick to respond with any questions we had. We received all our photos back in a timely manner about 6 weeks after the wedding and are very happy with how they turned out!

We had the pleasure of working with Mara P as the main photographer and Eric D as the assistant. They were by far, my FAVORITE vendors to work with on our wedding day! Mara was highly experienced. She was able to help me pick up and carry the train of my dress, help with putting my veil on, and was quick to give me directions to tell the party bus (after I sent the wrong pick up location to them). When other issues arose, Mara was quick with suggestions to ease the situation. Between her and Eric, they captured the beauty and the fun that we all had on our day!!

iley did a great job. We had crazy winter storms the weekend of our wedding and she was helpful when having to consider other new locations because of the weather. I appreciate all of the information they gave you fill out when planning your wedding and being able to speak with the photographer before the wedding as well. I had to fire a different photographer for our wedding because of how awful the engagement pictures turned out and I was never about picking Lily and Lime for the wedding day without doing an engagement session but as soon as I spoke with Jessica my nerves went away and when she would show me some of the pictures the day of all my fears about bad pictures went away. She did a great job capturing what we wanted for our small wedding.

Our first photographer cancelled on us. Lily and Lime told us we could pick from another photographer and gave use a selection. All remaining talent was not impressive. I did some ...
deep diving and found another photographer on their site (Samer Y.). I also was able to find his social media and was impressed by his other photos. Lily and Lime does not provide their photographers' socials, likely because they want to keep their business but also because the photos you get from your wedding are not edited by your photographer or anyone they are personally affiliated with. All photos are sent to a third party, which we did not know until after the wedding when we inquired about when we would receive our photos. Samer had no idea how long it would take and told us to contact the editing company. I had to find them on Facebook and also reach out to Lily and Lime. We did end up getting our photos fairly quickly after having to figure out what the process was (likely due to them trying to satisfy us from our ongoing poor experience, I'm sure most photos do not turn around so quickly).
All in all, our photos turned out great. Samer was great to work with. He was able to take so many photos, planned and candid, of us and of everyone who attended (around 160 guests). He also took photos of all the decor, food, other vendors, and the venue itself. You also couldn't beat the price.
However, the communication with Lily and Lime during the time we were cancelled on was terrible, We also were not allowed to get in contact with our photographer at all until a couple weeks before the wedding. It would be nice to be able to have a chat to see if you want to pay the person thousands of dollars for a service. Also, the greatest part about Lily and Lime is that they had poor communication when I needed a new photographer, but they sure knew how to contact me regularly asking me to change my original review. I told them I would once the process was over so here we are. I think we got lucky but I wouldn't choose Lily and Lime again. Worrying about my photographer cancelling again last minute was not something I needed before my wedding...But shout out to Samer if you are able to book him privately in the Detroit area. : )

talked my lead or assistant photographer until the day of the wedding, which honestly was fine with me. It made things less stressful! I was nervous about the quality of photos I would get since
everything was so affordable...but my photos turned out AMAZING. Pay more attention to your photographer’s profile on the site than Lily & Lime’s Instagram because that is more along the lines of the style of editing you will get. I received hundreds of edited images as well as pretty much every photo they took on my wedding day. I seriously cannot believe how easy it was to book, pay, send in my timeline, and then how gorgeous all of the photos turned out - and that I get to download literally every single one without an extra fee. I can’t wrap my mind around how affordable they were either. My friends have paid more for one photographer for less time than I paid for my lead and associate photographer, and videographer combined. Plus I got hundreds more photos, raw footage, and extra time with the photographers. Would highly recommend for someone who just wants beautiful, bright, natural, and high quality photos but isn’t super nitpicky about having a certain photographer’s style or wanting to have a one on one consultation beforehand, etc. I had Aaron as my lead photographer, Jennifer as my assistant photographer, and Adrean as my videographer and they were all absolutely wonderful. I got so many compliments about how professional, polite, friendly, and easygoing they were. They definitely helped keep me feeling at ease on a very busy and hectic day. I would definitely recommend Lily & Lime!!

a lot of communication right away. They don’t let you contact your photographer until the week before the wedding. This was a bit stressful for me as we had a unique, hard-to-photograph venue, but it ended up being just fine. Also, their website(s) are pretty confusing. They have four separate ones, from what I’ve seen. One to book, one to edit your wedding day plan, one to view your photos and one to buy your photos afterwards. They’re hard to navigate and impossible to find unless you have a specific link.
That said- I 100% recommend Lily and Lime for their price, quality, and helpfulness! If I had to do it all over again I would still book Lily and Lime every time.

Lily & Lime were perfect for our budget. While some of the end photographs could be more thoroughly edited, I think that is part of what keeps the cost down, and of the 500+ photos we have to choose from, we have several for family and ourselves that we love.

Definitely recommend but if you are particular about the photographer I may not chose them as you really don’t know anything about them until a week before, even when you book. I am not picky so we loved our photos and are super glad we spent this price!!

Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service.
Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.
If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

ared to going direct to the photographer/videographer. The Lily & Lime process and platform was straight forward and if we were ever confused or had questions L&L support team was on it. The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful.
CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

We were given a discount code in an email from Lily & Lime which we used to buy a photography package for our wedding. We paid a deposit to get locked in and the website displayed ...
two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

mazing shots on our special day. They were laid back, not too pushy, and gave us some really special photos of our day that we would not have gotten otherwise. Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.
Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

feel to our wedding with forgoing a lot of the "traditions" and just spending time celebrating with our friends and family. Wendy totally understood our views, and really went with that flow. As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

apher based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint!
I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

From start to finish they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!

Lily & Lime's people were all super helpful and responsive before, during, and after our wedding. I interacted with a few different team members at different points, and they were all great to work with.
Our photographer, Leah, was freaking amazing!! I can't recommend her highly enough. She is an absolutely amazing photographer - her work is just beautiful - but her personality is the icing on the cake. She's knowledgeable and professional, but also super friendly and fun. My husband and I were a little nervous that working with a photographer we didn't know well would feel awkward/uncomfortable, but that flew out the window as soon as we met Leah. Seriously - we can't recommend her highly enough!
Overall, working with Lily & Lime was a choice we'd make again & again. Thanks for a great experience!
