We had a phenomenal experience with both the company and the photographer we chose with Lily And Lime. The pricing for what we got was amazing and every photo came out perfect. All of the planning tools made everything super easy to keep organized and helped me to know I wasn’t going to forget anything because it’s all right there. Which was amazing because there’s so much to plan for a wedding so it helps to take a little bit of the pressure off of your shoulders while getting everything set up. Turnaround time for the photos was also great, and we even got some preview photos while we waited for the rest of them. And when we did get the rest of the photos, they were organized very well into categories, which made it much easier to go through all of them. We couldn’t be happier with Lily & Lime- the whole process from the initial quote request to getting our photos and video back was seamless and stress free. The scheduler they offer made it so our photographers & videographer knew where to be and when without having to figure it out day-of and both Jess (the head photographer) and Matthew (the videographer) reached out in advance to make sure what we envisioned was captured. Any questions I had along the way were answered by Nora promptly and professionally and they made sure I never felt overwhelmed. The end results were exactly what we hoped for and we’re thrilled we get to have these stunning reminders of our special day forever.

Overall, my experience with this vendor was good and communication was effective. My photos turned out beautifully and everyone was professional and prompt. I was charged an overage fee which was no fault of the vendors or mine but due to my makeup artist finishing ahead of time and me wanting to have getting ready photos captured hence the four-star review.

• Stay away from Lily & Lime or you might get burned like we did. The whole reason we went with Lily & Lime was because of the quality of the photographers on their website, any of whom we would have been delighted to have. But even after spending what is a lot of money for us, including a $500 holiday fee that was not listed on their website, it was not enough for us to be able to pick our own photographer. We were disappointed we could not pick our photographer, but we still settled with L&L because of how solid all their photographers were. L&L ended up giving us none of the options they advertised, and instead they gave us someone totally unknown to us. We found out that we had been matched with this unknown photographer past the point of no return, and we were stuck with this person who we were praying was good. We were given some confidence because the photographer described themselves as a 3rd generation wedding photographer. However, their work was more like that of a friend of a friend who does photography part time to make ends meet. Their work was not bad but strongly mediocre. We do not want to bash the photographer because we know they were doing their best. Rather we want to emphasize how dishonest this process L&L set up was for everyone involved. The photographer asked us what made us pick them. We had to tell them that we didn’t see anything about them and that we didn’t have a say at all, which was very awkward to have to do. We trusted L&L to match us with a high caliber wedding photographer to capture our special day. In the end, they lied to us, and they lied to our photographer about what was really going on. We are very disappointed with the way Lily & Lime treated us and their overall lack of transparency. We would not recommend their services to anyone. We can never get that day back and make it right. But we hope this review saves you the same disappointment we were dealt.

However, to keep prices low, we hand-select the photographer for you with the 6-hour option. Our pricing is intuitive based on your wedding date, so the holiday fee is included in the price at the beginning. Highly professional and very involved. They managed to get what needs to be done without being in the way. Photographer was very friendly, and pictures came out fantastic, turnaround time was reasonable too and they send samples of some of their own personal favorite photos from your wedding as a sampler. Photos came organized by categories. It was rather incredible how our photographer was able to get so many up and close personal photos during our Ceremony and we never noticed her once. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I had such a great day! I was a little nervous not meeting the lead photographer and videographer before the day but their professionalism and upbeat attitude made the day run smooth. I highly recommend Lily & Lime to anyone. Also note, they worked with me during the pandemic and was very quick in their responses- Thank you Meghan. That was the biggest help of all. Even thought the day went smooth, it was all because they listened to my fears of COVID and reassured me that they had everything under control.

I was looking for a reasonable photographer for our wedding but also wanted to be confident with our decision...that’s when I found Lily & Lime! I could build my package exactly how I wanted it, search different portfolios and select my own photographer. Some people may be weary of hiring someone they never met before, but I had a rep (who was actually a former photographer) in contact with me the entire time answering any questions, giving advice etc. I was able to plan out all the details on their portal, and talk with my photographer a week or two before the wedding to confirm everything. My pictures were ready in a couple weeks after the big day and I couldn’t be happier!

I got married in Brooklyn in August 2018 and hired a photographer, Raymond , through Lily and Lime. I went with Lily and Lime because of their affordable packages and because of convenience. Navigating the website was really easy, and it was also easy to reserve a photographer. Raymond was very professional and so positive throughout the day. I looked at his portfolio to choose him beforehand. I was able to have a conversation with him before the wedding. He was really great to work with! I would recommend Lily and Lime especially if you are looking for an affordable photographer and don’t need that much contact with the him or her before booking. It worked out well for us!

Lily and Lime was FANTASTIC! Overall: They were incredibly easy to work with. You can pick your photographer based on who is available that day. Before your wedding, you have to fill out what you expect your timeline to look like for the photographer to prepare. Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service. Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget. Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner. If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

If you know don't know where to start with wedding photography, Lily & Lime should be your FIRST stop. They have a wonderful online platform that allowed me to let them know what kind of photography experience my wife and I wanted to have on our special day. My husband and I were a little hesitant to work with Lily & Lime given the “hands-offness” of the photography crew up until the wedding week but we loved the price L&L offers compared to going direct to the photographer/videographer. The Lily & Lime process and platform was straight forward and if we were ever confused or had questions L&L support team was on it. The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful. CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner. The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

We were given a discount code in an email from Lily & Lime which we used to buy a photography package for our wedding. We paid a deposit to get locked in and the website displayed two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened. Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would. I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line. I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

We had Ashley as our Main Photographer, and Chris as our Videographer. We loved our time with Lily and Lime, they were just our style and were willing to do anything to get some amazing shots on our special day. They were laid back, not too pushy, and gave us some really special photos of our day that we would not have gotten otherwise. Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive. Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

Wendy with Lily and Lime was our photographer and made our day such a breeze, and we truly enjoyed working with her. My husband and I are both laid back, and wanted to extend that feel to our wedding with forgoing a lot of the "traditions" and just spending time celebrating with our friends and family. Wendy totally understood our views, and really went with that flow. As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

We LOVED working with Lily & Lime. Customer service was top notch throughout the process - very easy to contact and prompt to respond. Of course we were nervous choosing a photographer based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint! I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it. During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop. We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day. Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them. Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

Lily & Lime seemed like it was too good to be true at first. I combed through all of the reviews to be sure they were a real company, and finally took the big leap by purchasing one of their base packages with a discount. From start to finish they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month! Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!

This was the perfect fit for my husband and I. The pricing was really competitive; the planning process was clear & easy to manage; the day-of experience was excellent; the resulting photographs blew away our expectations. Lily & Lime's people were all super helpful and responsive before, during, and after our wedding. I interacted with a few different team members at different points, and they were all great to work with. Our photographer, Leah, was freaking amazing!! I can't recommend her highly enough. She is an absolutely amazing photographer - her work is just beautiful - but her personality is the icing on the cake. She's knowledgeable and professional, but also super friendly and fun. My husband and I were a little nervous that working with a photographer we didn't know well would feel awkward/uncomfortable, but that flew out the window as soon as we met Leah. Seriously - we can't recommend her highly enough! Overall, working with Lily & Lime was a choice we'd make again & again. Thanks for a great experience!

I decided to go with Lily and Lime for my wedding photography because of the price in all honesty, however I could not have been happier with my choice to go with them. They were very responsive during the entire wedding planning process and I never had to wait long for a response on a question. I decided to go with Casey T for my photographer and I could not have been more pleased with her warmth and professionalism. She was so easy to work with and made sure that I got all of the shots that I wanted for my wedding day (including outdoor shots on a rainy day!). Then before the big day, we contacted our photographer, Rebecca, who was very professional. We had everything arranged a week before (including our favorite shots). Rebecca was great in the wedding day, she did exactly whatever we asked for. Then we got a preview of our wedding pics a week after the wedding. I would definitely recommend Lily and lime.

I am so happy we chose Lily & Lime for our wedding photography service! We were able to review portfolios of dozens of photographers and select the one we thought would take pictures that fit our style and the tone of our wedding. Choosing Lily & Lime was a no brainer to stay within our set budget. I had ideas of what I hoped our pictures would look like and our pictures turned out 10x better. From the planning page on the site to communication with our photographers. The pictures were ready within a few weeks and PICTURE PERFECT! Lily & Lime was the best choice and I am so happy we chose to go with this company! I was hesitant at first to use a larger company without talking to my photographer first, rather than using someone local, but I'm SO glad we took the plunge and went with L&L. The online communication and emails were always easy and I always got fast responses. I could have called if I wanted but I prefer email. The staff is super professional and Chelsea with customer support is so nice and awesome. Payments online were always easy as well. I got to choose my photographer out of many local photographers and I was able to review all of their work before making a decision. A little over a week before our wedding, I was able to chat on the phone with my photographer (Jennifer). She was so awesome, not only before the wedding, but also throughout our wedding day! She stuck to my timeline and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted taken. She helped me remember all the shots I wanted (phew! sigh of relief!), got candids and even more shots that I never would have thought to get. She kept my whole day on time and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. I usually hate getting my picture taken (I am plus sized) but I hardly noticed she was there unless we were doing formal pictures. The pics all turned out great and she did an amazing job at making me look flattering all day long. I would certainly hire her again for any future photography needs! Editing is turned back over to L&L after the wedding, and all of our pics turned out amazing! We received almost 1200 pictures (over 500 edited) and I am so happy with the volume of pictures Jennifer got for us. She didn't miss a moment and the edited pictures look lovely! Downloading the pictures after the wedding is a breeze and I now have them for my own use forever! You can also buy an album or prints directly from them on their website. Everything about Jennifer and Lily & Lime was amazing from start to finish! You should definitely hire this company, don't hesitate!

We had a great experience with Lily and Lime. Customer service was very helpful with all questions that we had and our photographer was easy to reach. On the day of our wedding, Trene, our photographer, arrived on time and ready to capture wonderful pictures! It took us a little bit of time to warm up to the camera, but she was patient and created a great environment to help us feel comfortable. We would highly recommend!

We were looking for a budget-friendly photography option so we're so lucky to have come across Lily & Lime! Being able to combine photography and videography helped us save thousands. We loved being able to choose our photographer --Camarie was excellent. She was so sweet and did a great job at helping us camera-shy people feel at ease in front of the camera. The booking process was easy and our coordinator Lauren was the best! She always answered my million questions right away and put my worries at ease. I wish we would have been able to choose a videographer and see a couple full wedding videos to know what to expect or what we would want to include. I also wish we could have met or had contact with our photographer and videographer beforehand. In order to meet our photographer, we had to pay for an engagement session which my husband did not want at all. Instead of an engagement shoot, we just met with her the week before the wedding at the venue so we could walk around together and plan where we would take the pictures. It was a lifesaver but an expensive meeting! The turnaround time was unbelieveable! We got our pictures back just a few weeks after our wedding and the video about a month after that. We were given a few edits which I really appreciated to get everything just right. We purchased the raw video footage which allowed us to add some priceless clips that weren't included in the original video. We were even able to customize the preview video! Overall, we were super pleased with our experience, especially for the price. We have priceless memories to cherish forever.

I knew booking our photographer through Lily and Lime could be a risk, but it could not have worked out better. Our lead photographer, Kristen, and her associate photographer, Ryan, we absolutely fantastic! They were prompt, professional, and most of all, patient. They managed us and our wedding party extremely efficiently and with grace. They followed our requested timeline perfectly. We couldn't be happier. We love all of our pictures. We would strongly recommend Lily and Lime in the Baltimore area to anyone.

However, everything in our budget looked like it was taken by an ameteaur. I was so surprised to find Lily & Lime was in our price range AND had high quality photographers. Laurie with Lily & Lime was our photographer and she was so professional and a pleasure to work with. She brought unique and fresh ideas to capture everything we cared about and literally worked her rear off all night to get the candid shots we were looking for. Also, we got our digital negatives so fast and they are crisp, clear, and awesome! My husband and I could not be happier with the photos from Lily & Lime. Our photographer, Seth, worked with us to get photos that we will have for a lifetime. The process of signing up, selecting a photographer, setting a timeline, through the actual day, and afterwards – was simply perfection. I struggled with trying to find a photographer and this site made it easy. I got an email confirmation right away, as well as a planning sheet. When Seth showed up the day of the wedding, he was polite, professional, and made me feel at ease. All my guests commented that he was super friendly and enhanced our day. He had a great attitude and even though it rained on our wedding day, he made the best of it, and the photos really showed his skill! I would highly recommend Lily & Lime to anyone asking me for a photographer!

The Lily & Lime process was easy and straight forward. You login to your account to manage payments, setup your wedding day timeline and complete a questionnaire to help your photographer navigate your wedding. The customer service team is courteous and responsive. You'll receive automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner. The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info. I'm not sure if it is part of the process or something that our photographer chose to do, but he reached out to us that day to introduce himself. We talked about the important parts of our wedding and certain shots we would like to capture. Within a week we received a sneak peek of our photos and told the full album would be ready within 6-8 weeks. Approximate 2 weeks later we received the full album. There are a decent number of shots that we plan to include in our album. Unfortunately our photographer had a background in photo journalism rather than portrait photography so not all of our personal or family portraits came out as hoped. Overall we are pleased with the service and product, especially for the price.

My wife and I decided to get married in MN, so we had to find a local photographer to help us out. After searching several online sites, we decided to work with Lily & Lime. We liked the fact that the packages were straightforward, and we had several portfolios to choose from. All questions I had were resolved quickly either via email or telephone, and everybody we interacted with were extremely helpful and friendly. We worked with Lisa as our photographer, and she was also great! Se worked with us every step of the way and snapped some wonderful photos. Our digital negatives arrived rather quickly, so that was awesome. We would definitely recommend using L&L!

My husband and I were looking for affordable photographers, but also wanted good quality - photos were one of our top priorities while still operating on a budget. Lily & Lime was PERFECT. Up to our wedding, and even afterwards, we've had incredible customer service with quick responses and people taking the time to explain their service to us. We used Kayla and Laura in Minneapolis and they were both FANTASTIC. I can't say enough about their logistics, their personalities and caring for our wedding day, and their talent is incredible. I was blown away by our photos and I can't thank them enough for photographing our day!

My experience with Lily & Lime was outstanding (and I'm not exaggerating.) Their online portal is super user friendly. It's easy to fill out and has boxes to add details if necessary. I prefer doing everything online or over email but they also remind you that they are available over the phone if that's your preferred route. Our photographer, Mike, was also super personable and actually helped me pose when necessary. (I'm not great at posing for pictures). I could tell that he was still very passionate about the photos he was taking even after all his years of experience, which I loved. The overall experience was great and it definitely made planning my own wedding a lot less stressful. Last but not least, we and our families and friends are very happy with how our photos turned out. I would definitely recommend Lily and Lime, especially for the price.

Let me tell you, I was nervous about hiring Lily & Lime to begin with. Call me old fashioned, but I am used to meeting vendors face-to-face and not the day-of. However, L&L came fully prepared for all of my questions and in-depth emails. They were professional and had great customer service. The one star off from a full 5 is because I had issues with my last payment that should have been handled in the first call (my email proving my payment was lost which proceeded to create two to three more calls and emails). However, the issue was resolved after the last call and I had no more issues with whether I paid or not. My photographer was amazing! Stephanie was professional and eased my worries. With her experience and her sweet temperament, she came prepared for the day of my wedding and all of its inevitable and surprising moving parts. She took quality photos that take my breath away, and she captured and edited our precious moments like an artist. I would recommend Lily & Lime in a heartbeat. I'd say just to keep a record of your payments and try to pay using the same card to ensure no confusion on any one's part. Other than that minor thing, they're great and professional. Go for it if you are on the fence. Money WELL spend.

The ease of doing everything online from booking and picking our photographer two payments to questions we had... Everything was so easy! Their service is very prompt to getting back to us.
