Our photographer, Heidi, was such a joy to speak with as we planned our wedding day. She was friendly, competent, and even stayed a little over to help us get one final group shot that she knew was very important to us. Our photographer, Micah, was everything we could have asked for on our wedding day! He really listened to what we wanted from the day and our photos. Photos were fun and he made sure that we got every shot/setting that we wanted. He was always there if we needed him but he was never in the way or rushing us. He really listened to the style we wanted and kept us relaxed and happy the whole time.
Lily & Lime was the photography company we worked with. They are much cheaper than some of the other quotes we saw and it was a great way to simplify the photography process. When you make an account, you can view all available photographers for the day you want and view their portfolios. At the time of booking, you request a specific photographer. What they don’t tell you is that you aren’t guaranteed that photographer when you submit your non refundable deposit. We had selected a photographer who did not accept our request but we had already paid. Lily & Lime sent us 3 other “comparable” options but they were no where near the same caliber of who we tried to book. I made a separate account to view ALL available photographers and found Micah and specifically requested him. Luckily, he accepted, but he was not given as an option by Lily & Lime initially. The company did not seem to care that we had selected a specific photographer for their style and just threw a random replacement at us until we specifically requested differently. Other than that hiccup, the process was great. They have an online portal to add all the wedding day details, timelines, specific requests, etc. The portal is easy to use and it’s the same place pictures are uploaded after your event.

If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! This company is ATROCIOUS. My wedding date changed from December 6th to October 18th 2025. I was fully transparent when emailing with Laura. I was quoted for the package I was specifically interested in, and it was everything I wanted. When I went to check out on the website, all of the pricing was different and some of the options (6 hour videography) wasn't even available. The difference between what I was quoted and what I was able to select was over $1,000.
I scheduled a call with a customer service representative who said she had to discuss this with her manager. I received a call from Kira today, and she was absolutely awful. Background, I am also a sales manager so I know how this game goes. She refused to honor the price I was quoted from her sales associate. The only thing she could offer me was $100 off of an ADDITIONAL SERVICE and insisted that there was nothing she could do. She also made it plainly clear that their prices change by the season. In common terms, they price gouge and take advantage of their customers because they CAN. When a company quotes you a price, that quote should be honored, regardless if it was a mistake.
When I asked for a supervisor above her, I was denied that request. Just because they are a one stop shop, does NOT mean they are worth it. Pay the extra money and give your business to a company who actually cares about their customers.

Lily and Lime did a good job communicating with me from the start! They reached out to make sure I knew my next steps, and their planning tools really helped me organize my wedding day. The photographer communicated with me before the wedding, and although we hadn't met until the day of, I was really impressed and pleased with her professionalism, as well as her ability to go with the flow. I was very happy with the pictures after I received them, and overall I'm really pleased and glad I worked with Lily and Lime. They helped me stay on budget, while providing me with memories to last a lifetime!

Our photographer was so fantastic! We had a micro wedding and she captured every moment perfectly. I looked at a lot of options when trying to choose a photographer and kept coming back to Lily & Lime's portfolio. I'm so glad I did!

I hired Lily and Lime to photograph my wedding.
While I was a little nervous hiring a photographer that didn't specialize in Jewish Orthodox weddings, My photographer Holly, did an incredible job. She got every shot I had asked for and the photos turned out amazing.
I also found the website and portal fairly easy to navigate.
Overall, my experience with them was great and worth the money :)

Ended up with some excellent photos, not the smoothest road getting there.
I had booked a photographer 14+ months in advance who decided to cancel on us 3 months before our wedding. We only got one option to choose from when we had to pick a new one. We weren't allowed to contact that photographer until the week of our wedding which was stressful given our other one had flaked on us and the week of your wedding is stressful enough already!
On the day of our wedding, the photographers showed up on time but did not do a great job at sticking to the schedule. It took much longer than I expected to get just one shot of our bridal party. I had to keep things on track myself so that we did not end up behind schedule. Even had to get my sister-in-law and aunt involved with calling out names during our family photos. Our photographer was pretty laid back and not much of a leader. Was great when it was just the two of us but did not seem comfortable with a big group.
Photos, however, turned out great and we got them about a month after the wedding which was awesome. Was happy with the final output. If you have a big wedding party and a big family, might be worth considering spending a little more. This service was in line with the lower price point.

We had Shawna as our photographer and she was amazing to work with. Super laid back she’d give us suggestions for shots and got the shots we asked for but did it in a timely fashion. I loved that she let things throughout the day progress naturally and was there to capture it. She didn’t force us to stand there for 2 hours doing formal shots like some photographers do. Can’t say enough good things about her!

Pictures and video came out less than sub par for what we paid.
Less than 20% of the pictures were even in focus, much less framed or lit acceptably.

Our wedding was on August 13 and today is December 7. We paid for the 400 photos/8 hours package. On September 4 we received 50 "edited" photos and the rest unedited. The edited version was EXTREMELY yellow and unusable, and the rest were basically orange. We asked the agency to bring 80 photos to their true white, with no other edits, and are still waiting. We were hoping to share our wedding album with our family for the holidays, but now I am not really sure we will receive any photos we can use, at all. While the photographer was a very sweet individual and took pretty good shots, we can't use any of them because of the agency and are very frustrated.
Update: We received the edited photos in January. The customer service team that responded to this review was able to get us through the finish line.

Robert did an awesome job shooting our wedding a couple months ago! He was kind and professional from our first point of contact, and was happy to answer all of our questions. Nora was also a great help! She had me put together a list of posed shots that I wanted so that Robert was ready to go on the day-of with a checklist. Our pictures were ready in a timely manner and they were gorgeous! We are so glad we found Lily & Lime and recommend them whole-heartedly.

Just got my pictures, I prepped the photographer that I wanted mostly candid because I really don't enjoy staged photos having grown up with a photographer mother. He proceeded to force staged photos and I told him repeatedly day of the wedding mid photographs that I did not want to do staged pictures like this and would not like the final product. He aggressively ignored me. I held out hope but just got the pictures and cannot find a single one I like in over 1000 photos. Beyond that, he seemed to have ignored most of the things I wanted. I had a parade of children I didn't get to watch walk down the aisle and was so excited to see pictures only to find he photographed only my niece and nephew looking irritable. So, I said I didn't want staged and got basically only staged photos which I hate. I should have saved the money. I prefer the pictures guests took on their cellphones and they were available the next day.

We used Lily and Lime for our August 2023 wedding. Signing up and choosing our package were very easy. Whenever we had questions, customer service representative Nora was really kind and responsive in answering questions and getting back to us. Our photographer Liz from Milwaukee, WI was so amazing to work with. She really listened to our vision was upbeat and professional.
Somethings that were difficult were not being able to speak to the videographer and photographer until a very short time (like 24-48 hrs) before the wedding. This caused stress.
I cannot comment on the video yet. As of 11/8 we have not recieved the video yet but are hoping to have access in the next month based on feedback from Nora.

Almost 2 years later and I can’t look at my wedding photos done by Lily & Lime without crying from how awful they are. I wanted to write a review earlier but I was so depressed with how my photos turned out, I could not articulate my words….future brides and grooms, PLEASE, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF!!!!! It was our biggest regret. I was looking forward to having lifelong memories of our most special day and instead we got a miserable experience, wasted money, and garbage photos. I did reach out to Lily&Lime in tears and all they offered was a photo book and NO I did NOT redeem because why would I want awful photos in book form?! 0/10 stars

We had our wedding north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and our photographer, Irena, was so sweet. She totally understood that my husband and I aren't super big on posed pictures, and took that to heart. She got tons of great candid pictures and made us feel super comfortable. She even took pictures outside in the Wisconsin December cold (it was snowing and coooold!). She was incredibly kind, and we sincerely enjoyed having her there at our day.

We had our wedding in White Bear Lake, MN and our photographer Alexander Zitser was absolutely amazing. He arrived on time, was very professional, and extremely friendly. He had a whole digital album of fun ideas to do with my bridesmaids. He also went out in the bitter cold with us to capture some pictures in the snow! He also captured some gorgeous mirror shots that we absolutely love. If you are in the twin cities, I highly recommend you use Alexander if he is available. Our families even noticed and complimented how awesome he was!
We had to postpone our event due to covid and Lily and Lime made rescheduling so easy. They even made sure we could still have our original photographer we booked, which was wonderful. It was super nice to have a sneak peak with the editors choice album so that we could at least see a few pictures before the whole portfolio will be released. The online portal and forms were easy to complete and make payments on. Overall, we highly recommend Lily and Lime and especially our photographer Alexander!

The photographer was very nice and great at dealing with my friends and family, but after gushing over how long my dress train and veil were I thought I would get a lot of photos reflecting that, but after waiting 2 months (got the movie back first), I found virtually no pictures showing how long my dress was as almost all of the photos were close up or front facing, not even the getting ready photos where the she took pics of the dress before I climbed in. all of the other pictures were great and beautiful but this one this was really a let down. the groom also felt we waited too long but I'm not sure about that.
Update: After I posted my review I heard back from Lily and Lime very quickly and they gave me a free large canvas print and 200$ in prints to make up for my dissatisfaction. I was very impressed and happy that they tried so hard to make it right.

Lily and Lime was one of the first vendors I worked with in the wedding planning process. It wasn't until after I signed the contract that we learned that they are a big company. That's on me, not them.
My lead and assistant photographers were phenomenal and I would have paid WAY MORE for either of them and wish I would have done so.
Knocking one star for minimal communication (normal based on their contracts) and the fact they do all editing instead of leaving it up to the photographers. I would have definitely gone through our photographer(s) if I knew that they wouldn't be the ones doing the editing.
I really loved using Lily and Lime for introducing me to two wonderful women who I will be having photos done with at a later time, though.

We loved booking Lily and Lime for our wedding photos. Adam did our engagement and wedding photos and he was so kind, patient and creative. He truly captured our love on our big day. Chris, our videographer was great because he was able to capture video without us feeling like a camera was on our face all day. Everything was easy to plan, Pay and book online and customer service always contacted us back quickly when we had questions

Lily and Lime did an amazing job with our reception photos. Jeremy was able to capture all of the important moments of our day without ever making me feel like I needed to "pose"
for the camera. I am in love with all of the candid photos of us and all of our guests. The customer service at Lily and Lime was also amazing. I decided last minute that I wanted to add extra hours with the photographer and they worked with me to help me get exactly what I wanted (even though I was doing this only weeks before my wedding). They always responded quickly and were super polite. Highly recommend!

Lily & Lime did a great job at our reception. Shawna was very efficient (and patient!) for our family photos, which included three little girls running around! We were also those lucky people who had rain on our reception which meant it rained on our dance floor, but that didn't stop Shawna from get some amazing outdoor photos. Lily & Lime is great company with great photographers, and we would use them again!

We booked Lily & Lime for our wedding reception in September. They were very easy to work with and were very flexible! We changed our venue a few months away from the date and they were more than happy to accommodate. Since this was only a reception we were looking for a non-traditional vibe for our photos. Shawna did a great job capturing our dances and our guests enjoying themselves throughout the evening. She even braved the rain and got some great frames of our guests dancing in the rain! I would 100% recommend booking with Lily & Lime!

Lily & Lime were awesome to work with, our photographer Wendy was absolutely fantastic for our wedding day. She was professional, fun, and I felt like she actually cared about us as a couple as well. The pictures are lovely, I can't wait to get some prints. Prices were the best around, so if you're looking for something great but not budget-breaking, Lily&Lime definitely have options for you.
The only thing that frustrated me was I couldn't get the contact info for our photographer until the week of, which stressed me out because I worked two days that week and then she was only available to call one other day before the actual wedding day, so it was a rush to get a chance to speak with her before the wedding day.

My wedding has been postponed twice due to Covid-19. Each and every time I have contacted Lily and Line they have been such a trooper and helped us through everything single step. Our photographer has also stuck with us. We can’t wait to have our official wedding next summer and work with them in person!

Pictures are not usable! All family photos taken look like they were taken in a cave, background is pretty much black and people in the photos are casting dark shadows on to the people behind them. Company could care less about the quality of your photos because they already have your money! Stay away, waste of money!

Nigel & Laura were so helpful and truly walked me through every step along the way.
Our Photographer, John Paul Greco (Milwaukee based) was outstanding and the photos were absolutely beautiful.
Which speaking of photos! The turnaround time is incredible, we were told 6 weeks before we could get access to the photos but in 3 weeks we had them and were already starting to share with your loved ones.
