I also had to make a request when I wanted to go back and look at their Lily and Lime portfolio after booking, so it’s a little complicated in that sense. Their customer service was responsive and clear though, and we heard from our photographer a couple weeks before the wedding. We worked with Douglas on photos and Roberto on video and we were very happy with how the photos and video content turned out. One downside is that you don’t get sneak peeks as early as people who work directly with a vendor would because it has to go back to Lily and Lime for editing and they came in about 8 weeks. Our video was supposed to come by 4 months later, but it came early, shortly after the photos were finished. I might’ve preferred to work directly with a photographer/videographer vendor, but I think Lily and Lime is a great option if you want to keep things simple and don’t mind minimal contact with your vendors until just before the wedding.

Our photographers were amazing to work with. They were knowledgeable and helpful when we weren't 100% sure on where we wanted pictures at. They were quick to respond to questions and helped to make planning from out of state a breeze!

Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.

CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.
Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

Lily & Lime seemed like it was too good to be true at first. I combed through all of the reviews to be sure they were a real company, and finally took the big leap by purchasing one of their base packages with a discount.
From start to finish...
they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!

I got to choose my photographer out of many local photographers and I was able to review all of their work before making a decision. A little over a week before our wedding, I was able to chat on the phone with my photographer (Jennifer). She was so awesome, not only before the wedding, but also throughout our wedding day! She stuck to my timeline and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted taken. She helped me remember all the shots I wanted (phew! sigh of relief!), got candids and even more shots that I never would have thought to get. She kept my whole day on time and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. I usually hate getting my picture taken (I am plus sized) but I hardly noticed she was there unless we were doing formal pictures. The pics all turned out great and she did an amazing job at making me look flattering all day long. I would certainly hire her again for any future photography needs! Editing is turned back over to L&L after the wedding, and all of our pics turned out amazing! We received almost 1200 pictures (over 500 edited) and I am so happy with the volume of pictures Jennifer got for us. She didn't miss a moment and the edited pictures look lovely! Downloading the pictures after the wedding is a breeze and I now have them for my own use forever! You can also buy an album or prints directly from them on their website. I wish we would have been able to choose a videographer and see a couple full wedding videos to know what to expect or what we would want to include. I also wish we could have met or had contact with our photographer and videographer beforehand. In order to meet our photographer, we had to pay for an engagement session which my husband did not want at all. Instead of an engagement shoot, we just met with her the week before the wedding at the venue so we could walk around together and plan where we would take the pictures. It was a lifesaver but an expensive meeting!
The turnaround time was unbelieveable! We got our pictures back just a few weeks after our wedding and the video about a month after that. We were given a few edits which I really appreciated to get everything just right. We purchased the raw video footage which allowed us to add some priceless clips that weren't included in the original video. We were even able to customize the preview video!
Overall, we were super pleased with our experience, especially for the price. We have priceless memories to cherish forever.

There are a decent number of shots that we plan to include in our album. Unfortunately our photographer had a background in photo journalism rather than portrait photography so not all of our personal or family portraits came out as hoped.

ld trust. Then we found Lily & Lime. We chose the basic $1100 package for one photographer and unlimited locations for 6 hours. We browsed photographers and found a wonderful woman named Leda with a great portfolio. Now the catch is that you don’t talk to your photographer until about a week before. But surprisingly, we didn’t feel stressed about that. We filled in all the information about our wedding online and Leda called a week before to confirm details. She was highly qualified and I knew we could trust her. She got over 700 photos of our day, edited them beautifully, and we received them within a month of our wedding. The negatives were released shortly after. Lily & Lime customer service responds to inquiries within 24 hours too so if you have a question they are always there.
Honestly, I didn’t worry one bit about the photos. Lily & Lime takes care of it all. Save yourself the money and the stress.

I found the billing very confusing. There was no confirmation and it forced me to split it up into separate bills. These two things led to them accidentally overcharging me. They are planning on sending me a refund eventually.
Lastly, the I found the pictures really unflattering. Some important ones were oddly taken from outside, through the window. I unexpectedly preferred the amateur photos from my family members on their phones.

However, over the next few months, Lily & Lime answered any question I had, allowed us to make payments and prompted me to update our profile page. My mind was officially set at ease when I received a phone call from my photographer the week before to go over the game plan for the big day.
Our pictures were amazing! Our photographers had us at ease the entire time and even had my husband laughing, and he hates taking pictures! They would randomly check in with us to see if there was anything they missed or we needed more of.
My only complaint would be that it took a month for us to get all of our pictures. We used them for thank you cards, and we would have really liked to have had them earlier so we could get them out in the mail.
Regardless, I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who is getting hitched!!

-you can lock down a contract immediately and know they will have someone there
-you get a dedicated customer service person who is very responsive to your thousands of questions and will e-mail out schedules and plans
-the photographer hands off photos to L&L immediately and the editing team is good about getting the photos turned around on schedule
-they gave me a bunch of discounts and upgrades
Things to be aware of:
-I looked over the contract and they have some very steep cancellation penalties so be sure you want to use them
-you get access to a gallery of watermarked photos after four weeks, but don't get the un-watermarked "digital negatives" until whenever your plan says you get them, which is a year later for the cheapest plan (I got mine after six weeks due to a free upgrade)
-editing is extra
-there was very little communication between the customer service person and the photographer beyond L&L providing the schedule and plan, and you first talk to the photographer about a week before the day
None of these ended up being a problem for me at all and I'm very happy with the service. I would absolutely use them again!

I could not access the website without signing in to get Chris's last name (if it was listed). I also couldn't view the photographers under my daughter's login. We are still working with them to post any missing pics, such as the father/daughter dance and mother/son dance (slightly important photos). Then, not all of the photos were in the zip files when I clicked on 'all' photos to be downloaded. I eventually had to go and click on each one individually, as several extra attempts still did not yield most of the pictures. 10 stars for Chris, only 1 star for the website.
