Lily Grace Catering Services

It’s been a year since our wedding now (5/19/23) and wanted to make a review using notes from after the wedding, as well as the things our families talked about after (and to this day!) Lily Grace catering is a staffing service caterer. We picked a local restaurant (Lucy’s Fried Chicken, which we HIGHLY recommend. Everyone loved it!!) , created our wedding menu and LGC picked up the items, served them and cleaned up. We did the all inclusive package which included real silverware, goblets, linens, bartender, their horse carriage bar and a getaway car. During planning meetings, it was highly recommended that we have passed apps. However, this didn’t work out at all. We ran out of apps and desserts immediately- most guests didn’t even know we HAD appetizers or desserts. These were the two parts of our meal that Lily Grace Catering insisted on providing as it would be fresher than if they picked up the food from the restaurant. The options we chose were delicious, they made sure my husband and I got some but not even our parents got appetizers OR desserts. I was really disappointed with this. The bartenders: We had two bartenders provided by LGC. One was outside in the horse trailer, one was inside. One of our venue rules was no shots, and LGC insisted in the pre-meetings that all signature drinks had to be made with like 50% mixer. We were kind of bummed about this, as my husband and members of our families loves whiskey neat. Come to find out on the day of the wedding, some guests found that if they asked for a signature drink sans the mixer they were able to get straight liquor. This was great for the dads and such that wanted a straight bourbon but one girl was able to order over 4 doubles of straight vodka and was a bit of a mess all night. The bartenders didn’t even know we had champagne as well as both cabernet and merlot and told my mom they “weren’t allowed to open” the champagne, which is one thing we had specifically requested be possible during pre meetings. We weren’t having a “champagne” toast, it was just a toast with whatever anyone had in their hands, so that people would be able to order champagne before. We provided the alcohol and bought it ourselves, and we weren’t having a champagne toast so my family knew what we had. Even though only a few people knew about the champagne, and I barely saw anyone drinking it, out of the 16 bottles we provided we only got back two. Also weird note, half- to full drinks were being picked up before empty drinks by the staff. Lots of alcohol was wasted, as people would hop on the dance floor real quick and their full drink would be gone but an empty one would still be sitting there. We had two pre-meetings. At the first we discussed all of our wishes like linen color, which getaway car, menu items, that we wanted a welcome drink as people entered the venue. at the second meeting, it was as if nothing we said was written down (it was, we did watch the owner/coordinator write these down at our tasting) and we had to remember everything that was said months before. Luckily I kept a bit of a list! the welcome drinks weren’t served apparently, not sure why. Pros: The getaway car was awesome! We took pictures with our original convertible. But as the night went on a storm came in, so they quickly replaced the car with one that had a hood. The Elegant package did come with quite a few things, we really appreciated these extra touches.

Lisa and the entire Lily Grace catering team were incredible! Our wedding catering went off without a hitch, everything was hot and delicious, and they really went above and beyond to make the experience just right.

I can not express how perfect my wedding was. From the catering & bar service itself, to the intricate detail put into making my dream wedding a reality, everything turned out perfectly. I really appreciate Lisa for all the time, thought, and effort into making our day so special. They truly are one of the best vendors I’ve ever worked with and hired. We hired Lily Grace for our wedding on 03/16/24 and chose the elegant package. The first word that comes to mind is accommodating and professional. The ability to chose your own food adventure really resonated with us. The bar services were solid, signature drinks were perfectly paired, and they didn't skimp on pours. I have nothing but great things to say! They made the overall process so easy and followed our strict venue full service requirements perfectly. The grazing table they prepared for cocktail hour was also a huge hit! I would recommend them to anyone wanting to chose your own adventure.

We had a good experience with Lily Grace Catering. We wanted to do BBQ and they had worked with one of our favorites - Stiles Switch BBQ - before, which made it easy. I recently used Lily Grace Catering for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier! The food was exquisite, the bartender did our signature drinks justice, the presentation stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our guests raved about the delicious food AND drinks, and the attention to detail truly made our special day unforgettable. It’s never great to write a not-stellar review for a vendor, but I would not recommend Lily Grace catering unless you are choosing something simple that they work with all of the time (BBQ, pizza, etc). We chose Lily grace as our caterer for our October 2023 wedding for Persian food, and our main complaint was that communication felt disjointed throughout the whole process. I know their team does a lot of weddings, however, it felt like there were a lot of times where we had to remind their team about our selections for things. Their team took incredibly long to respond to our emails, and took a while to communicate our selections and solidify our menu choices with the restaurant that we selected to have our food from and we felt a lot of extra stress having to remind/ask their team if our order with the restaurant was actually placed and solidified yet. Our menu for our late Oct wedding ended up not being solidified until the end of September, which of course, made us super nervous and did not seem normal. We actually did not even know what our final payment was until October 1st which was a bit nervewracking. The restaurant that we partnered with even commented to us multiple times that catering orders for weddings are typically placed 3-4 months in advance, and was shocked that Lily Grace’s team solidified things with them only one month in advance. The restaurant manager called my husband and I directly multiple times to ask if we were still planning on catering with them since she hadn’t heard anything from Lily Grace’s team until late in the process. Last but not least - we were really dissatisfied with our cake cutting service. Quite a bit of our guests were refused cake due to it being frozen (I do not believe that this was a fault of their team). However, during the wedding, my husband asked if he could have a slice of cake for us to share, and he was told “No, sorry, but we did pack some for you already to take home!” What on earth?! Being refused a slice of cake at our own wedding was a bit odd. He felt very weird about that. Once we finally did get home, we realized that Lily Grace’s team packed us TWO ENTIRE tiers of cake to take home. We were incredibly confused and realized this was likely the reasoning behind some of our guests not being able to get any cake - because we had two entire tiers of it packed for us, which we definitely did not want or need. We communicated multiple times that we only wanted the small top tier saved for our one year anniversary. So many of our guests didn’t get any cake and the their that they sent us home with could have easily fed 30-40 more people. This is just a warning to prospective couples that if you choose them, you will need to really stay on top of communication with them and might end up needing to do way more communication than you expect. POSITIVES: On a positive note, their bar service got a lot of compliments! They were super speedy and amazing on that front. The drinks were delicious and strong and we were able to create our own signature drinks which everyone loved. They also provided our linens and tableware which looked great and was exactly what we wanted. Their getaway car service was also awesome. They were also one of our lowest catering quotes. My husband and I do still appreciate the effort that they did put in, however, it was not up to our standard.

I hired Lily Grace for my wedding on 11/11/23. The first word that comes to mind is PROFESSIONAL! This team is amazing. Dinner and bar services were amazing, staff was amazing, etc. I have nothing but great things to say! They made the planning process so easy and followed our strict venue full service requirements perfectly! We chose Lupe Tortilla for dinner, the food was delicious and hot! The grazing table they prepared for cocktail hour was gorgeous and was a huge hit!! I would choose Lily Grace over and over again. - The Killingsworths

We were so happy we chose Lily Grace to cater our wedding. Everything went seamlessly, and we loved all the restaurant options we had to choose from. We chose Black’s BBQ and received so many compliments on the food. We added on a cheese board for cocktail hour and it was delicious and completely devoured by our guests from what I heard. I’m so glad we added it on through them. We also added on the coffee bar with tea and it was a great addition. I saw so many guests looking so happy by the coffee station at the end of the night. We had booked a different bartender and we had to provide cups, but we forgot we left the cups in the car. Lisa ran over to their warehouse and got extra cups before cocktail hour started and saved the day. We didn’t even know there was a hiccup until the wedding planner told us later and we told them where to find our cups. We were so grateful to Lily Grace for that. Overall, I wanted to work with less vendors to prevent communication issues so we also chose Lily Grace for the linens too, which made everything so much easier. The only thing with that to keep in mind is the price. They charge a service fee and a gratuity fee which is a percentage of the total, so it’s not just the cost per plate or package, and that’s where things can get a little pricey. Overall, Lily Grace cost less than most caterers I looked at with a larger variety of options and amazing food, not regular wedding food. I’m also glad I worked with 1 vendor for all of the add ons instead of 2-3 more just for ease and peace of mind, but if you’re trying to save wherever you can, then compare prices for linens, cheese board, etc with the gratuity/service fee added on vs other vendors. Their prices are really clear when you get a link with your quote, which I really appreciated. Absolutely choose Lily Grace to cater your wedding, I highly recommend them. They really revolutionized wedding food in Austin with their unique structure and the food was so so good.

I must express my disappointment with the recent catering services provided by Lily Grace. While I had high expectations for our event, several issues arose that greatly impacted the overall experience. Firstly, half of the linens provided by the catering company were noticeably unclean and appeared to be lacking proper care. Additionally, they were not properly ironed, which detracted from the overall aesthetic of the event. Moreover, the timing of the meal service was incredibly erratic. Entrees were served sporadically, resulting in a significant delay between when individuals at the same table received their meals. This inconsistency created an unfortunate sense of disarray and left many guests waiting for their food for approximately 45 minutes or more. To make matters worse, the quality of the food itself was disappointing. Not only were some of the entrees served cold, but it was evident that insufficient attention was given to ensuring the dishes were served at the appropriate temperature. This greatly diminished the overall enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, it was disappointing to discover that there was an inadequate amount of food ordered for the event. As a result, the catering company resorted to serving appetizers as entrees, which was not what we had anticipated or paid for. This substitution was both unexpected and unsatisfactory. Additionally, the bartenders employed by the catering company failed to manage the bar effectively. Instead of responsibly cutting off individuals who had considered to have consumed enough alcohol, the bartenders made the decision to shut down the bar prematurely. This decision left guests who were still hoping to enjoy their evening with limited options and diminished their overall experience. Furthermore, I must emphasize that my disappointment was further compounded by the lack of communication from Lily Grace regarding these issues. Following the event, we had not heard from the catering company in relation to the aforementioned concerns. It was only after I reached out to them two weeks after the event had concluded that they finally apologized for the shortcomings we experienced. This delayed response and lack of proactive communication further added to our dissatisfaction with their services. Considering these significant shortcomings, I cannot recommend Lily Grace based on my recent experience. The issues encountered greatly impacted the overall quality of the event and fell far below the standard one would expect from a professional catering service.

Lisa and team did an amazing job with our wedding! Everything was perfect! Lisa works with you and ensures you have the most beautiful wedding while also having a blast doing it. She is a rare gem in the wedding industry! Do not pass up the opportunity to work with her.

We had a small guest count and booked Lily Grace for their ‘elegant’ package. They provided food from Chuy’s, linens/dishware/silverware, bartending (minus alcohol), a coffee bar, set up and tear down, and a getaway car. Lisa was wonderful in helping me make decisions and was quick to respond to questions. I loved that one company basically took care of everything and they were fabulous.

Lisa and her entire team at Lily Grace are incredible! Lisa was easy to communicate with and so helpful throughout the entire process. She sat with us for several conversations and a tasting to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We didn't serve alcohol at our wedding, and Lisa helped put together an incredible array of non-alcoholic beverages for our guests. All of the food and drinks were a hit! Everyone from her team was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them for any event!!

Lily Grace Catering provided both catering and bartending for our November 2022 wedding at One Eleven East. They were accommodating, professional, and easy to work with. The whole staff worked hard in providing a smooth wedding day and would recommend them for full-service catering!

Lisa and her team were a DREAM! They were so great to work with, and answered all of my questions (and trust me, I had a lot!). During the wedding planning process, it’s so important to feel heard and to be able to raise random questions and get thorough responses. Lisa was such a lovely person, and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a full-service caterer for your wedding!

Lily Grace played a huge role in making our wedding day beyond incredible. Lisa worked with me from start to finish to ensure that our menu was perfect, and our tablescape was nothing short of amazing. Lisa was so responsive and patient while we made our menu choices, and decided on the items that we chose to go with for napkins and flatware. The staff and service for the day of was top notch. As the Bride and Groom, they brought us out hors'deauvres during the cocktail hour while we took photos, and they made sure to serve our dinner to us first. Leftovers were packed up so nicely at the end of the night as well as our top layer of our wedding cake. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. The food was amazing, the staff was even better, and the service was impeccable. I cannot say enough good things about Lily Grace!

Wonderful catering service, would highly recommend!

Communication, and coordination was a little tough in the beginning but once plans were cemented Lisa and her team executed beautifully. I don't think they were the exact, perfect match for our wants and needs but they were incredibly dependable, professional, and organized. Make sure you list out what is important with your vendors. Especially if you're anything like us, first-gens with eastern traditions and family members with high expectations. lol That's not to say how adaptable and understanding they were too. We put them through the wringer with a surprise gifting ceremony on the day-of that required additional work from their staff. They adapted incredibly well, and were considerate of our traditions. Friendly and attentive staff. Can't thank them enough.

We hired Lily Grace Catering for our wedding in June at One Eleven East. They were a preferred vendor and we were super happy with the service! Their packages are very reasonable and they provide so much flexibility with their food choices! The servers were attentive but not overbearing and made things run so smoothly. We also used their bartending service and it was great! They batched what they could and were super efficient with the cocktails they couldn’t batch. We had compliments from everyone on the cocktails! I would 100% recommend booking Lily Grace!

Lily Grace Catering had just been added to our venue's preferred vendor list a few months out from our wedding when we were having issues with our first catering vendor, and what a blessing it was! Their catering business model is a little different than the norm, but I absolutely LOVED having the option to pick from literally any restaurant we wanted. It allowed us the ability to know exactly what to expect from the food by picking one of our favorite restaurants, and the affordable cost allowed us to do family style for a fraction of what we were being charged with other vendors for food that wouldn't have compared in any way. They also make their own appetizers which were absolutely delicious and the servers were extremely professional. Would 100% recommend!!

Lisa the owner of Lily Grace Catering was great to work with! Her confidence, experience and knowledge put my mind at ease and gave me peace that my daughter's wedding would turn out how we envisioned. The day of the wedding, Lisa and her staff showed up with plenty of time to set up the tables and food according to our selections and they were the last to leave that night after cleaning up and packing the left over alcohol in my car. Their were at least 7 servers as well as Lisa and together they made the night so pleasant. We had tons of compliments from our guests that the food was incredible and the service was great! The bartender did a fantastic job of making the bride and grooms signature drinks as well as whatever anyone else requested. I would highly recommend Lily Grace Catering for your next event!

Working with Lisa was a breeze! She helped answer all of our questions and was super responsive through the whole process. It was cool getting to use a restaurant we liked but having a professional catering team handle all of the logistics. They were so amazing throughout the evening and made sure we had everything we needed. The table settings and all of their serving station set-ups looked spot on. Most importantly, the guests raved about the food and her recommended cocktail hour appetizers worked out great. Having them there the whole evening to make sure we had everything we needed was a perk I didn't realize I even needed. When we started looking for caterers most would come, serve, clean-up and leave after dinner. The Lily Grace team was there to provide drinks before the ceremony and stayed until the end of the wedding to make sure the evening was perfect. The team even packed up the leftovers for our of town guests to enjoy the next day.

Lisa and her team staffed my wedding. Lisa is so kind, communicative, and really works hard for you to have the best event. Her staff was professional and worked tirelessly to make our wedding day seamless. They offer a unique service which is what initially drew me to them and then her professionalism and customer oriented communication had me hooked! My matches were not set out on the place settings as discussed, so now I have 300 match boxes to hand out at every event for the rest of my life :)) not the worst thing that could happen! Overall, they were wonderful!

It was a pleasure to work with Lisa at Lily Grace Catering. My daughter and her new husband practice a vegan diet. It was difficult to find a caterer that would allow us to fine tune a menu that would be appealing to meat eaters and vegans. Lisa was very accommodating in making that happen. We had the food served family style which was a treat. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Wedding guests commented on how good the food was and how much they loved the service.

Lily Grace provided both catering and bartending at our wedding. Lisa was responsive and helpful in the planning process. She really gave us free range on what food we'd like to serve and took into account our family member's dietary restrictions. The day of everything went smoothly and our guest were pleased with the service they received by the staff. 10/10 work!!

This caterer is fantastic! They work with different restaurants so you aren’t boxed into a specific menu and it makes tastings way easier! They offer full-service catering in any way you want (buffet, stations, etc) and have extra items for rent, including a getaway car which I thought was pretty unique. Lisa is great to work with; very responsive, super nice, and made sure we were taken care of the day of. She set up a private dinner for us upstairs and packed us to-go plates and alcohol so we had stuff to eat later/the next day. I highly recommend using Lily Grace!

Lily Grace Catering did a great job for our wedding. The buffet set up was very nice and the food was delicious. Their wait staff did a great job making sure we (the bride and groom) had everything we needed. They are also very affordable and easy to work with. Their email response times are a bit slow, but I think that's because they're very popular!

So happy that we contracted Lily Grace Catering and Bartending for our wedding! I own a wedding venue, and met this company through our venue. They did such an amazing job at our facility that when it came time for my wedding, they were my first choice! Lisa was INCREDIBLE to work with, the staff was wonderful, and we could not be happier with the service they provided. We had catering restrictions, so they came to serve all the food, and also bartending our wedding. I still have people coming up to me asking who we used for these services so they can use them for their upcoming events as well. 10/10 would recommend for your wedding!!!!

Our planner was the one who introduced me to Lisa and her team. From the beginning Lisa was extremely responsive, detail-oriented, and generous. From going out of her way to provide us gorgeous dinnerware to providing the best food possible, Lisa and her team were extremely professional and helpful. The affordability of her "uber eats for wedding" business model made it possible for me and my husband to have exactly what we wanted at a price point that was truly unbelievable. If you are looking for a caterer who will work with you, provide you with excellent service, and keep a close eye on all of the little things, Lily Grace is truly a wonderful choice.

Lisa of Lily Grace Catering Services was a pleasure to work with, at my daughter's wedding. When I was interviewing vendors, I instantly knew I wanted to work with her. Everything was handled very gracefully and professionally on the day of the event by her and her staff. We had a couple of last minute requests that she executed to perfection. Lily Grace is the way to go!! Everyone at the wedding raved about how great the service was and how good the food was! Lisa and her team made everything so easy on us. Lisa and her team at Lily Grace were amazing! She was great to work with leading up to the event, very responsive to questions and even willing to have a phone call in the middle of the Texas blizzard. We also heard nothing but praise for her team during the end of the event. Where normally friends and family would have to clean up, her staff took care of so much and made the night so much easier. Lisa and her team served our wedding without a hitch. Lisa was flexible with us through many scope changes and patient with our questions. The appetizer cones and the bartenders were a crowd favorite.

As we were planning our wedding and searching for caterers, we did not see any menus we were instantly in love with. We wanted a menu we had more control over, and Lily Grace Catering provided the perfect solution. Lisa was able to coordinate orders from Pinthouse Pizza and Chi’lantro, and the menu was a smashing success. Her team provided set up/clean up of the ceremony and reception area, served the food, and provided bartending services. This company was recommended to me by my planner, and the two worked together seamlessly. I highly recommend having vendors who have worked together well in the past, since they already know how to communicate with one another. As a largely DIY bride, I really appreciated all of their assistance on our day. Importantly, I would remiss if I did not mention our stellar bartender. Our guests could not stop raving about him, particularly as some got to know him quite well on their many trips back to the bar. Lisa worked to implement the highest safety precautions during the pandemic, and was flexible when some of them could not be used due to high winds the day of. The catering team helped make everything feel as safe as possible.

Lisa is amazing. Her team is amazing. The quality of service you receive from Lily Grace seems like it is long lost in the world today. She listens to your needs, has amazing suggestions, helps through the whole process, and will do anything to make sure you have the dream wedding you are hoping for. She is a gem and her team and staff are sweet people! You develop a relationship and are excited that they are there for your big day because she easily becomes a friend!

I stumbled upon Lily Grace Catering only 2 months before our wedding. I was in a bind since we had recently changed venues and needed a new catering service. Communication with Lisa, the owner, was so easy! She was quick to respond to all my emails and phone calls. We discussed in depth about the details of the table arrangements and she was able to put something beautiful together! They truly made it a one-stop shop which came with picking up the food, setting up, serving our guests, cleaning up, and even having the option of our perfect getaway car which included the driver!!! On the day of our wedding reception, everyone was SO impressed by them! They were very accommodating to our small, intimate gathering. I would highly recommend Lily Grace Catering to anyone looking for excellent service and friendly people who absolutely love what they do!!

We have seen them serve all kinds of food and our clients love working with them. The service is always top notch! Lily Grace Catering Services did an amazing job of making the wedding day catering a seamless event for our entire family! I could not have done it without their energy and expertise! They diligently worked behind the scene with great attention to the details that make the wedding day soooo enjoyable for the bride, groom, family and friends! I highly recommend their services - and not only did they set up a beautiful buffet and beverage station, they cleaned the venue and broke everything down for us. They were lifesavers. Lisa did a wonderful job for my wedding! She worked with my fiance and I to come up with the vegetarian grazing table of our dreams. Her staff has efficient, invisible even in their serving my 75 guests. She's an amazing cook and I couldn't be happier.
