to go out on maternity leave, which is understandable as this happens. We ended up dealing with one of the owners. My daughter had an engagement photo shoot, but shortly after that the photographer left the company. They ended up getting another photo shoot with a new photographer- no worries, these things happen. Fast forward to the day of the wedding. The DJ showed up late and we helped him unload his equipment. He was dressed like he was working goin to a construction jobsite, but we assumed he would change before the ceremony- we were WRONG. He looked very sloppy. He told us not to open the door on his truck because literal garbage would fall out of it. We scrambled to get him setup for the ceremony in time. The ceremony went off fine. Then during cocktail hour, in the middle of music playing, I heard an add for Home Depot playing. I though i was hearing things. During the meal, i heard another add start playing. The DJ skipped it after a few seconds. A short time later i heard a Harbor Freight add playing. I looked at the DJ booth and he wasn't there. He was setting up the photo booth because he was late and hadn't done it yet. I, the father of the Bride, walked up to the booth and pressed skip on his YouTube playlist that he was using for music. Then a short time later, i hear Amazing Grace playing (usually a funeral song) during dinner. I looked and the DJ is in line for food, in front of guests that haven't been served yet. I told him to change the song immediately. Later in the night, i gave the DJ very specific instruction that i would be announcing a special guest entrance and to not do anything until i got back to the booth. 2 minutes later he starts to announce the guest and play the music. I had to run from the parking lot and take the mic away from him. The DJ was the most unprofessional thing i have ever seen. (they also never brought the lights that were promised). The next day i called the owner who did nothing but make excuses and tell me that this DJ was really good. No apology and no attempt to right the situation. He said that the DJ was having problems logging into their YouTube Premium account- that's why the commercials. WHAT?!?!? What kind of DJ doesn't just have songs downloaded to play? Seriously, the owner was ok with this level of service. I called the owner again to see what he would do about this, and he did nothing but make excuses. Terrible service. Then a couple months later, we finally got the video from the wedding. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. It looked like a high school 1st semester video project. Terrible editing, and it left out so much stuff. We were SOOO disappointed in the video and the whole service that Limelight provided. The only thing that was good was the photographer, who was sub-contracted out. SO, I'll give them a 1 star rating, and that's only because the photographer was decent.

I waited 2 months to hear anything despite the emails I sent to limelight regarding me waiting so long and they kept saying he would reach out after this and that. Me and my Fiancé called A BUNCH of times and left voicemails within a 2 week time stretch and no one ever reached out to us to discuss with us our concerns. Out of the blue a new photagrapher messaged me and said he would be the one doing our photos at the wedding. He canceled our engagement session for emergent needs which I understood but then messaged me 3 weeks later to reschedule even though I asked what a good time was 3 weeks before then. I decided I no longer felt like I could trust this company and have been waiting for a response for 2 weeks do discuss this with them but still have not heard anything. I will be getting a lawyer if it comes down to it because I've been trying to reach out to the company on several different phone numbers. Emails, etc. For over a month.

Our photographer Pamela was absolutely wonderful! We are currently reviewing our proofs and there are so many wonderful photos. She was so fun to work with and you could tell she loves what she does. She got some great shots I never would have thought to ask for. Our DJ Terrell did a great job with both the ceremony and reception. He sure kept the dance floor packed and even assisted with some timeline aspects. We couldn't be happier with how our special day turned out!

We got to work with Richard twice (once for the wedding in 2020 and for the reception in 2021) and he made us feel confident were in good hands about the planning process both times. Plus a photo turnaround as fast as they do is unheard of in the wedding industry, but somehow they manage to do it and deliver INCREDIBLE results. I 110% recommend.

It was nice having them all grouped together from one company rather than having to find a vendor for each phase of the wedding. Richard is very professional and his hard word and caring showed the whole night through. He blew us away with his MCing the whole evening and the fact that he could do that along with being our photographer for the night was impressive to say the least. The way he was there and you didn’t even notice was refreshing to see. Each of the staff he has were amazing and very professional. Limelight keeps you on track the whole time during the planning process with their awesome portal that you fill in with your details of how you want the evening to look. Very nice to be able to see your wedding come to life before you. The other added bonus you get is that during your reception, the videographer is hard at work collecting footage of your wedding day and while the reception is happening he is hard at work editing his footage then they present it to the couple and their guests right on the spot DURING your reception. I have never seen this done before, that by far was the cherry on top that confirmed to me that we went with the right vendor. The fact that he could be right there in the room with you and you didn’t even know it, the way he and his staff just glide through the event was very impressive! It was nice to see just how relaxed we were as we were getting ready, The way they worked the event the whole day was refreshing to see. Richard was very smooth and calming he even threw in some humor which was very well received. I have never seen a wedding flow so naturally, They by far were the cherry on top that finalized it for me that we went with the correct vendor. Richard and his staff were very impressive during the whole day/night of our daughter’s wedding. You could see they loved what they do and their dedication to it showed throughout the whole wedding. So in short, you can’t go wrong with Limelight, they were worth every penny we ever spent!

Richard worked with us to make sure we could have our shoot right after Christmas when we made a short trip up to see family. Leading up to our wedding day they worked with us and our venue to help create a timeline for day of. Throughout the day/evening Nick and Philip worked seamlessly with our venue to make sure everything happened on time. We didn't have to do a thing other than enjoy our day!
Our photographer Philip was absolutely fantastic! He was so easy to work with and came prepared to make sure we got the most out of the time we had with him. The shots he got were even better than I could have imagined. My husband lost his mother just a month prior to our wedding. Philip made sure to get some very creative shots with my mother-in-law's memorial table in the background. Those pictures will truly be treasured for years to come! His attention to detail helped us capture every aspect of such a memorable day. All of our pictures turned out so amazing!
Our DJ Nick really knows how to get a party started and keep it going! There wasn't a single song all evening that we didn't love! We went a little untraditional using songs with lyrics during our ceremony and he did a fantastic job of transitioning along the way. He did a great job of reading the crowd and playing the perfect songs at the perfect time. Throughout the evening he kept things on track to make everything so easy for my husband and I.

As my husband and I started planning our wedding last year, we were nervous because we were getting married out of state, and didn’t know how much or little that would complicate communication with our various vendors. Limelight had no issues with this, and we were able to complete 99% of our communication via phone and email. They were responsive and thorough in all aspects of our wedding planning, including helping with a very detailed timeline. My husband and I decided to go with both photography and DJ services, and we are so happy we did this! Not only did it save us money, but knowing that the photographer and DJ were on the same page for our wedding provided us with a feeling of security that everything would go according to plan..which it did! Richard took charge of our photography and we are thrilled with the results. He took ideas straight from my Pinterest page and the shots turned out so beautifully. He did a great job helping me feel at ease with the process, and he was such a professional! We had Nate as a DJ, and he was so fun to work with! He was open to our ideas, and made sure he included all of our “must-plays.” My husband and I are not super picky about which songs were played and told him to feel the crowd, knowing that as a professional, he would have a better idea of what gets people on their feet. We were not disappointed. I don’t think there was a lull in the dancing all night! Limelight communicated effectively with our venue, and got our wedding pictures back to us in 4 days!! With that being said, we were very unhappy with the follow through the day of the wedding. Firstly, he had mentioned the fact that a camera was broken as the first interaction on one of the craziest days of our lives and that felt unprofessional. His attitude toward our guests was unpleasant, we had multiple guests mention to us that they felt like he was unnecessarily blunt with the way he approached certain situations. It was brought up to us multiple times that he'd wished there was more time to take certain pictures but didn’t and we felt that was very discouraging. Both him and the assistant/intern constantly asking us what photos we wanted was not helpful as we’re not the professionals and only realized after the fact of some of the staple wedding photos we will never have.
Conversely during our engagement shoot, we felt like he had a great vision and plan for every photo that they wanted us to have. We expected that the wedding day would be the same, and it very much was not.
Frankly, we felt like the camera being broken threw off the day and put a damper on his attitude. Which as I said, in our previous conversations was very positive and accommodating.
The DJ (Nate) on the other hand was fantastic, did a wonderful job of keeping the dancefloor filled all night and was not afraid to tastefully switch music that may not have been filling the floor. Very positive person and super accommodating to all requests.
While we do appreciate the work done and love the pictures that were captured, we are at a loss with the ones we will never have. Our recommendation to other couples out there is to do their best to establish a shot list to make sure nothing gets lost forever, although we did offer that multiple times and it was declined it is one of our bigger regrets.

had our engagement session first and when we left my husband and I both were happy at that point with Richard, he was very easy going and never made us feel like we were posing for a camera. He told us some ideas of how to stand and let us do the rest. Some photographers can be a little awkward being that your standing in front of a complete stranger kissing your significant other for them to take a picture of, haha. But with Richard he made us feel comfortable and it was fun. We did our final appointment about two weeks before the wedding and he talked me through EVERYTHING. When I got off the phone i had no questions and it helped so much being that i was in that final stress stage of wanting everything to be done. Once the wedding came i asked if they would do some getting ready photos for us at the hotel we were getting ready at and he did not hesitate at the idea and made it happen. We even got to pop some champagne (: The wedding had a few bumps on my wedding party's side but Nick C our Dj and both Richard and Phillip worked with us and everything went smoothly. I could have not asked for anything more with a company, we had so many guests ask who we used and say how amazing they all were and how genuinely nice everyone was too. They were beyond anything we expected and were amazing in every single way. And the price is unbeatable. We didn't break the bank with Limelight and we got top dollar work out of it.. if we did it again i would chose Limelight every single time.
