Limelight Entertainment and Photography

My experience was very similar to other negative reviews which I should have checked. Moved offices and did not notify clients until weeks later, not surprisingly doesn’t have current info on this site (even though it’s months later after relocation at the time of this post), would not allow in person meetings at current location. I went to their office to discuss concerns and it was abandoned. I repeatedly asked for examples of photographers work and was not allowed any. I didn’t even have full name of person taking wedding pics until week of my wedding and he said he wasn’t allowed to show me his work. When I asked about a sunset photo on the deck that I specifically chose ballroom for I was told it could be photoshopped in, very impersonal and not relational to couples. I felt like just a gig and a number and the only priority communication made was if they wanted more money. This company puts responsibility on the client to schedule services, meetings, types of meetings and then has no accountability or remorse when they cancel, don’t provide or don’t show up. Save yourself heartache and great financial loss, find a photographer with many years experience for one of the most important days of your life! Spend a hundred bucks on Amazon and do your own uplighting.

We booked Limelight for our photographer and DJ. Their prices are very reasonable. Nick, our DJ, was very attentive and kept everything at a nice flow. He did great with all the music and our specific requests. Philip, our photographer, and his assistant were so patient with our big family and the cold weather. They all did a great job!

Got married recently and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Limelight! They make every aspect from booking them to your wedding day SO easy with planned 30-60-90 day check ins. AND they include a free engagement session so we got to meet our photographer and make sure we were all on the same page for how we wanted things to look overall long before the wedding day - which greatly put us both at ease. In addition, the admin staff does a wonderful job at giving ideas and inspiration when you're lost on how things normally go at weddings. They made it so easy and we didn't have to worry about anything! I would definitely recommend Limelight and Philip Bareham specifically. You won't be disappointed!

We loved the whole crew of Limelight! They were so helpful, upbeat, and down for anything! We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our special day. Phil was especially amazing and concurred the cold weather during our engagement session! Forever thankful for them!

I used Limelight only for their photobooth service, which I think is a bit out of the norm for them. They had a 60-day and a 30-day check-in, which was awesome, but I think a little over the top for just photobooth services. Also, they kept texting and emailing us to remind us about our DJ and photography services even though we didn't book them for that. Apart from that, the photobooth was a big hit! The props were a little lacking, but the digital frame was super cute. I can't wait to see the digital guest book with everyone's photos.

Limelight is absolutely amazing. They truly care about their couples and they do everything they possibly can to meet their needs/expectations. We had to reschedule our wedding and limelight was more than accommodating. During the planning process, limelight makes it easy and simple and helps you every step of the way. And finally, when it comes to the day of, they are attentive, professional, and incredible. They work hard to make the day perfect. The DJ, Ben, was upbeat and incredible! He made the night flow perfectly. The photographer, Richard, was creative, professional, and accommodating. I could go on and on about how amazing limelight is!! I highly recommend using them for your wedding. If I could relive the day, I would!

We were so lucky to have chosen Limelight for our photography and DJ! Our big wedding was originally scheduled for Aug 2020, but postponed the reception due to COVID. They were so flexible, willing to work with us, and made re-scheduling easy. We got to work with Richard twice (once for the wedding in 2020 and for the reception in 2021) and he made us feel confident were in good hands about the planning process both times. Plus a photo turnaround as fast as they do is unheard of in the wedding industry, but somehow they manage to do it and deliver INCREDIBLE results. I 110% recommend.

We just had my daughter’s wedding just 4 days ago and I have to say we were blown away with how well Limelight did with the whole event from the photography, the videography, the uplighting, the photo booth, the DJ and finally the MCing. We couldn’t have gone with a better vendor. It was nice having them all grouped together from one company rather than having to find a vendor for each phase of the wedding. Richard is very professional and his hard word and caring showed the whole night through. He blew us away with his MCing the whole evening and the fact that he could do that along with being our photographer for the night was impressive to say the least. The way he was there and you didn’t even notice was refreshing to see. Each of the staff he has were amazing and very professional. Limelight keeps you on track the whole time during the planning process with their awesome portal that you fill in with your details of how you want the evening to look. Very nice to be able to see your wedding come to life before you. The other added bonus you get is that during your reception, the videographer is hard at work collecting footage of your wedding day and while the reception is happening he is hard at work editing his footage then they present it to the couple and their guests right on the spot DURING your reception. I have never seen this done before, that by far was the cherry on top that confirmed to me that we went with the right vendor. The fact that he could be right there in the room with you and you didn’t even know it, the way he and his staff just glide through the event was very impressive! It was nice to see just how relaxed we were as we were getting ready, The way they worked the event the whole day was refreshing to see. Richard was very smooth and calming he even threw in some humor which was very well received. I have never seen a wedding flow so naturally, They by far were the cherry on top that finalized it for me that we went with the correct vendor. Richard and his staff were very impressive during the whole day/night of our daughter’s wedding. You could see they loved what they do and their dedication to it showed throughout the whole wedding. So in short, you can’t go wrong with Limelight, they were worth every penny we ever spent!

There truly are not enough words to express how amazing Limelight is and how perfect they made our special day! We were planning from out of state which complicated our planning process but Limelight made our photography and DJ planning so easy! Starting with our engagement shoot. Richard worked with us to make sure we could have our shoot right after Christmas when we made a short trip up to see family. Leading up to our wedding day they worked with us and our venue to help create a timeline for day of. Throughout the day/evening Nick and Philip worked seamlessly with our venue to make sure everything happened on time. We didn't have to do a thing other than enjoy our day! Our photographer Philip was absolutely fantastic! He was so easy to work with and came prepared to make sure we got the most out of the time we had with him. The shots he got were even better than I could have imagined. My husband lost his mother just a month prior to our wedding. Philip made sure to get some very creative shots with my mother-in-law's memorial table in the background. Those pictures will truly be treasured for years to come! His attention to detail helped us capture every aspect of such a memorable day. All of our pictures turned out so amazing! Our DJ Nick really knows how to get a party started and keep it going! There wasn't a single song all evening that we didn't love! We went a little untraditional using songs with lyrics during our ceremony and he did a fantastic job of transitioning along the way. He did a great job of reading the crowd and playing the perfect songs at the perfect time. Throughout the evening he kept things on track to make everything so easy for my husband and I. This company is absolutely fantastic and knows how to make wedding days truly perfect!

We are not sure where to begin on how fantastic the Limelight team is! I was not sure where to even begin when looking for a DJ and Photographer! Thank goodness we found Limelight! A wedding planner that is included?! Amazing!! Ben was absolutely fantastic, nailing every song, getting the dance floor pumped up! We danced so much, I'm still sore! Richard was spot on with photography. He was energetic, incredibly friendly and listened to my ideas and made them even better. The commitment the team had to making our day perfect was above and beyond. I cannot thank the Limelight team enough! Best service my husband and I have ever had.

The people we worked with at Limelight were absolutely amazing! We started with engagement photos that turned out stunningly beautiful and ended with them photographing and DJing our wedding. Our photographer, Philip, was fantastic and worked with us to get the best shots possible. He had his own ideas and made sure to capture our ideas as well. Our DJ, Andy, also did amazing. He took our selections of music and ran with them, creating a fantastic Playlist that kept our guests dancing until the end of the night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or photographer.

This year definitely did not go as planned; however, Limelight was so flexible and was still able to take our wedding photos. The photos turned out great and the staff at Limelight was so fun and caring. They were some of the most friendly people! They also took our engagement photos a year prior and made it so comfortable and fun. I highly recommend Limelight because not only do they have photographers, they have DJs, videographers, and planners to help pull your whole event together!

With all the changes because of Covid 19 - I can't explain how cooperative this company was with our last minute changes. Professional DJ and very entertaining! We will use them again and refer them whenever we have the opportunity!

I can't even begin to explain what an amazing decision it was to work with Limelight. From my first call with Ric I knew that this company was something special and someone who could help a crazy bride plan her Michigan wedding from California, in seven months. From emails leading up to closer months, followed by phone calls and check ins, I consistently felt listened to and on the same page with the team. I had the most amazing night of my life, dancing to my favorite songs with my favorite people - Thank you Dustin for providing the soundtrack to a night I will never forget!! I was very overwhelmed in my search to find the perfect photographer for our wedding. After my first phone call with Richard, I was put at ease and really excited to start working with them! He gave me a lot of great ideas for pictures which we ended up doing! On my wedding day, Richard got there early and captured some really great “morning of” shots. Unfortunately, right before our ceremony began the sky’s became dark and rain began. I was extremely appreciative to find out that Richard already prepared for this and preciously took pictures of the beautiful sky earlier that day to Put in place of the dark sky we had. He went above and beyond the entire day!! And the best part, we received our proofs the week after our wedding!! I could not be happier with our beautiful pictures and Richards attentive and professional work!

Limelight was outstanding! Both our photographer and DJ were with Limelight and they both went above and beyond to make our special day everything we envisioned it would be. Richard was truly Amazing!! From the beginning of the day to arriving at salon for pics of the girls getting around to capturing the guys at the venue! The ceremony pics were amazing! Family photos were great! Very professional & friendly! DJ Nick was also amazing! I highly recommend Limelight!

Working with Richard and the Limelight team was a wonderful blessing from beginning to end. My husband and I planned our wedding in about 90-days, so having the expert advice and support from Limelight helped in the most valuable way. Limelight Entertainment did a beautiful job with the photography and music for our wedding! From start to finish, my husband and I felt like a priority to Limelight, and we are thrilled with the results! As my husband and I started planning our wedding last year, we were nervous because we were getting married out of state, and didn’t know how much or little that would complicate communication with our various vendors. Limelight had no issues with this, and we were able to complete 99% of our communication via phone and email. They were responsive and thorough in all aspects of our wedding planning, including helping with a very detailed timeline. My husband and I decided to go with both photography and DJ services, and we are so happy we did this! Not only did it save us money, but knowing that the photographer and DJ were on the same page for our wedding provided us with a feeling of security that everything would go according to plan..which it did! Richard took charge of our photography and we are thrilled with the results. He took ideas straight from my Pinterest page and the shots turned out so beautifully. He did a great job helping me feel at ease with the process, and he was such a professional! We had Nate as a DJ, and he was so fun to work with! He was open to our ideas, and made sure he included all of our “must-plays.” My husband and I are not super picky about which songs were played and told him to feel the crowd, knowing that as a professional, he would have a better idea of what gets people on their feet. We were not disappointed. I don’t think there was a lull in the dancing all night! Limelight communicated effectively with our venue, and got our wedding pictures back to us in 4 days!! If you’re looking for a great wedding photographer and DJ, seriously, these guys will take care of you.

Richard and his team were great to work with for our engagement pictures and more importantly on the day of our wedding. I’m very happy with the quality and amount of photos we received. He spent the majority of the day with us and we got to travel around town to get a variety of shots. Our proofs were ready for us before we got home from our honeymoon and they had many of them ready for us already on social media. We are now looking at prints and photo books and I’m excited to gift them to our families and friends.

We were very happy with the way Limelight catered to us leading up to the wedding. We felt like they (Richard - Owner) was very willing to take time out of busy days to talk with us and help establish a plan. With that being said, we were very unhappy with the follow through the day of the wedding. Firstly, he had mentioned the fact that a camera was broken as the first interaction on one of the craziest days of our lives and that felt unprofessional. His attitude toward our guests was unpleasant, we had multiple guests mention to us that they felt like he was unnecessarily blunt with the way he approached certain situations. It was brought up to us multiple times that he'd wished there was more time to take certain pictures but didn’t and we felt that was very discouraging. Both him and the assistant/intern constantly asking us what photos we wanted was not helpful as we’re not the professionals and only realized after the fact of some of the staple wedding photos we will never have. Conversely during our engagement shoot, we felt like he had a great vision and plan for every photo that they wanted us to have. We expected that the wedding day would be the same, and it very much was not. Frankly, we felt like the camera being broken threw off the day and put a damper on his attitude. Which as I said, in our previous conversations was very positive and accommodating. The DJ (Nate) on the other hand was fantastic, did a wonderful job of keeping the dancefloor filled all night and was not afraid to tastefully switch music that may not have been filling the floor. Very positive person and super accommodating to all requests. While we do appreciate the work done and love the pictures that were captured, we are at a loss with the ones we will never have. Our recommendation to other couples out there is to do their best to establish a shot list to make sure nothing gets lost forever, although we did offer that multiple times and it was declined it is one of our bigger regrets.

Limelight Entertainment is the company you have to go through if you are getting married any where near Lansing! They have outstanding staff and office support. The planning center and the knot was my go-to for all things wedding! It is super easy to navigate and communicate through. When we ran into a small snag the owner, Richard took the time to personally apologize and make things right immediately. He throws his heart and soul into the company. He also took our wedding photos and listened to every request I had for the day of. I felt so comfortable that I forgot the camera was there most of the time. We also had Dustin as a DJ and I cannot tell you how professional and easy going he was. Some of our groomsmen got a little crazy on the party bus ride over and he was able to corral them to get everything done perfectly! He played all my “must plays” and I got lost in the bumping party! At one point I looked around and everyone from my 4 year old nephew to our 80 year old granny busting a move to Sexy Back

Limelight has such a great team! They help with the planning of your entire wedding day, down to the very last detail. The DJ kept the dance floor alive, all the way up to the very last song that was played. The photographers take shots at every possible angle, capturing all of the pictures that you want as well as the ones that you wouldn't think of getting. They know how to keep it professional, all while having fun!

To say Limelight is the BEST wedding company in all of mid-Michigan would be an understatement. Limelight is the most AMAZING wedding company in ALL of our great state! If you're looking for professional and experienced Djs who will rock the night away with coordination and perfection or Professional photographers with decades of experience to capture every moment down to the last detail, then Limelight is the right choice for you! Limelight is much more then any Dj or Photography company out there. You can NEVER go wrong with the wedding professionals of Limelight.

From day one of our wedding planning, Richard was so supportive and made our planning easy! The initial meeting with Richard made us feel so comfortable that Kristin and I left agreeing that there is no way were are not going to have Limelight handle our photography and DJ needs. Richard helped our planning and when wedding day arrived, his planning did not disappoint! Our photographer, Daryl, was fantastic! He captured many beautiful photos of Kristin and I, as well as the entire wedding party, family and guests. Our DJ, Benjamin, had so much energy and kept the party going on all night. We hired Limelight to DJ our 9/1/18 wedding, and are so happy we did! Ben was such a blessing! He was so accommodating to our song requests, and did such a great job keeping the dance floor alive until the very last minute of the night! So many of my friends told me how they enjoyed all of the music and how much fun they had all night! I was blown away by his interactions with us and how much he truly cared to make the night so fun!

I would be hesitant to recommend limelight. We used them for our dj and officiant. Leading up to our wedding it was difficult to get into contact with them. When I did have meetings set up, they were late both times and were not organized. Details we had discussed in one meeting needed to be rediscussed several times because they were never placed with our file. I was very disappointed in the service for what we paid.

We had an excellent DJ that played great music and really walked us through the whole day!!!! We were very happy with the services and it was well priced!! We also got several compliments on the DJ!!!

Richard and the team were fantastic to work with. Leon provided the perfect beats to get the dance floor hoping and was great engaging with our guests. Darryl our photographer was injured minutes before our ceremony and STILL got some of the most amazing shots. Professionalism across the board. Thank you Limelight!

Im not sure where to even start. First things first, we had our Photography, Officiant, and Dj with Limelight. I could have never asked for anything more with any other company. We had our engagement session first and when we left my husband and I both were happy at that point with Richard, he was very easy going and never made us feel like we were posing for a camera. He told us some ideas of how to stand and let us do the rest. Some photographers can be a little awkward being that your standing in front of a complete stranger kissing your significant other for them to take a picture of, haha. But with Richard he made us feel comfortable and it was fun. We did our final appointment about two weeks before the wedding and he talked me through EVERYTHING. When I got off the phone i had no questions and it helped so much being that i was in that final stress stage of wanting everything to be done. Once the wedding came i asked if they would do some getting ready photos for us at the hotel we were getting ready at and he did not hesitate at the idea and made it happen. We even got to pop some champagne (: The wedding had a few bumps on my wedding party's side but Nick C our Dj and both Richard and Phillip worked with us and everything went smoothly. I could have not asked for anything more with a company, we had so many guests ask who we used and say how amazing they all were and how genuinely nice everyone was too. They were beyond anything we expected and were amazing in every single way. And the price is unbeatable. We didn't break the bank with Limelight and we got top dollar work out of it.. if we did it again i would chose Limelight every single time.

Richard was awesome and the young man that was working with him. From our engagement photos to the reception the pictures are awesome. Having the flash drive with all the pictures is an awesome touch. They did a monogram for our reception that set the room to another level and the lights were great. Thank you for everything. I will see you soon when I set up an appointment for my family photo.

We had an excellent experience working with Richard and his team at Limelight. They served as both our DJ (Leon) and Photographer (Richard), and we could not have asked for a better experience. We met with Richard in person when we were in town and spoke several times over the phone to make sure that all of the details were ironed out. The photographers and DJs at Limelight are not just the photographers and DJs for the day of your wedding -- they become your friends and go-to resource when it comes to wedding planning. The phone calls and planning appointments before the wedding were great guidance, and Ric was able to answer pretty much any wedding related question without being pushy. He was even willing to meet normal office hours and go above and beyond to help solve anything that came our way, which is not something most business owners are willing to do. From the initial contact point to following up after the wedding, the staff at Limelight were organized, helpful, and felt like old friends. For such a reasonable price and everything you get out of the experience of working with Limelight, there's no reason not to choose them.

Limelight was the easiest and most professional company we worked with while planning our wedding. We got a full package with our dj, photography and Officiant. They were so ahead of the game and thought of so many things we wouldn't even had thought about. They actually made the process fun for us. Our dj Nick and photographer Richard worked so well together and kept our day on point and on time the entire day. Our officiant Sharon was so personable and made sure everything was just right for the ceremony. Limelight even did the sound and microphones for the ceremony which sounded great. Incredible! It is truly amazing to see a company that actually cares about making your special day perfect! They think of everything down to the smallest of details and offer suggestions when needed. We had Amanda as our photographer and Leon as our DJ. They were absolutely amazing! Amanda made sure all the photos were set up perfectly and she also captured those private moments and you never knew she was there. She was discrete and not disruptive and always open to ideas. Leon kept people engaged and having a good time all night. He played all the right songs at all the right moments and always made sure everyone felt welcome to.come out and dance. The whole limelight staff was kind and helpful through the whole planning process i would highly recommend them!

Very professional, organized, and helpful. Overall had a great experience, we are a little difficult to work with opposite schedules and particular but they did a great job managing and making sure we were pleased with what we came out with and we had a huge bridal party which it's very difficult to keep everyone together and they did a great job! The Dj was also great had everyone dancing and guests were involved. At the end we are satisfied there were minor things we wish we had done and it has been difficult to keep in contact, however we are still satisfied with the overall experience.

We loved working with Limelight Entertainment! Richard had excellent suggestions throughout the planning process and was always available to answer any questions we had. We had an unconventional wedding reception and Richard and Nate were wonderful in accommodating our needs and making our day everything we had hoped it would be. Our pictures were delivered quickly and were of high quality. I would highly reccommend Limelight.

Limelight did an excellent job with our wedding! Both our DJ and Photographer were provided by Limelight, and they both did an amazing job. Our photographer Amanda met with me at our venue the week before the wedding so that we could walk around and pick out spots that would be good for photos, so that we were less stressed the day of. She did a fabulous job on our wedding day getting all of the photos we had discussed being important to us! Our DJ Nick did a fantastic job as well. He made sure to discuss our plans with us before the reception in terms of what times we were doing specific things (eg entrance, cake cutting, etc) and to let us know the easiest ways to keep the reception flowing. He played all of our "Must Play" songs and was great at taking requests from both ourselves and our guests! Overall I highly recommend using Limelight Entertainment for your wedding!

Rich was amazing! His eye for pictures is fantastic and he's super easy to work with. We had fun and got to know him during engagement pictures and that made our wedding photos all the better I think. He's in the wedding business and wasn't shy about letting us know options on things we hadn't thought about before. Not just with pictures but about the entire day, other venders etc. He's not at all pushy and lets you pick how you want your day to run but at the same time he has so much information to give to assist in those planning details from when to cut the cake to getting the bride and groom off on their own for a few minutes of breathing it all in time. We so loved that time. We actually got to see each other at our wedding and felt like it was our day, exactly the way we wanted it. We have soooooo many pictures to choose from and they are all absolutely amazing. It's a little overwhelming to have to pick between them!! We also had a DJ from limelight and Leon was fantastic. He kept things rolling, he knew what was happening each step of the way and we had a ton of fun. Working with limelight was just easy. And let's face it brides, easy is what we'd all love to experience on that big day and the crazy planning days leading up to it. So Call Rich!!

We live in Colorado and got married at Houghton Lake, MI in June. We booked Limelight for our photography and DJ services based on their reasonable prices and positive reviews. Prior to the wedding day, we had never met Richard or our DJ, Nick. That can be a little nerve wracking when you’re planning a wedding from a different state and we have ZERO regrets about it. They were absolutely incredible! It poured rain the entire day of our wedding--which was outdoors with no plan B!--and there were some really nervous moments when we thought we weren’t going to be able to use the DJ at all. Richard was clear in his communication that we were taking a risk by plugging anything in, but was willing to be patient with the weather and see if it would pass. Thankfully, it cleared up just in time and we were able to go ahead as planned. I’ll start with Richard. Absolutely amazing. Throughout the chaos of the morning, he stayed calm, patient, and respectful of my wishes to try to wait out the storm. Even while I’m sure his mind was running trying to think about keeping his equipment protected in the rain, he took the most amazing and heartwarming pictures of me getting ready with my bridesmaids, mom, and grandma. I will cherish how he caught our relationships forever. For the ceremony and the formal pictures afterwards, mother nature was doing him no favors with the grey water and grey sky. I’m sure it was difficult to create contrast in the photographs, but you would never know it because they turned out absolutely stunning. He even texted me one of his favorite pictures the next day as he was working on editing. Which, while I’m on the subject, let’s just talk about how Limelight did 6 weddings the weekend we got married and he had all of the photos to us in 72 hours?! Magical. He truly captured the love between family, friends, and of course my husband and I. He caught the special candid moments when two people shared a loving glance and as beautiful as the formal pictures are, it’s those candids that we keep going back to and will cherish. Next, our DJ Nick. It was SO convenient to book the photographer and caterer together. One less person to coordinate with, send deposits to, etc. Plus Limelight truly takes the time to make sure that their DJ’s are going to entertain--as it says in their company’s name. Nick stole the show. I cannot tell you how many people mentioned something in the couple of weeks following our wedding about Nick and how incredible he was. When you sit down with--or call in my case--Richard to do your agenda, just listen to him. He was able to thoroughly explain why he put things in a certain order to keep the mood of the crowd going at a certain pace (like cake cutting, bouquet and garter tosses, first dance, anniversary dance, etc. in the order that he did). Anyhow, Nick did the perfect job of setting the tone for each part of the night. His pre-ceremony music was calm but upbeat, his cocktail hour music kept people entertained, and his party music was amazing. We had EVERYONE dancing--even all the older people! He played songs that people could dance along to (like Cupid Shuffle), sing along to (like Bohemian Rhapsody), and connect to (like the few older, slower songs). Absolutely incredible job. Overall, we are so thrilled with everything Limelight Entertainment and Photography did to make our day special. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Richard and his team did a wonderful job at our wedding, both with our wedding photos and DJ booth. They really take the time to make sure that your vision for your wedding is fulfilled, and are helpful with suggestions along the way. I highly recommend them for quality work at an affordable rate.

Limelight Entertainment was an exceptional vendor to work with from start to finish. Ric, our photographer and our mentor through the whole process, consulted with us right away, giving us huge amounts of flexibility within our very different schedules (my husband worked nights during planning, and I'm a camp director)! From start to finish, everything was planned down to the minute - giving us the opportunity to anticipate and prepare everything we needed. They guided us through the process, helped us choose songs, we worked with a streamlined online platform, and EVERYONE was impressed with this vendor. Michael, our DJ, read the crowd and created the best possible music for the reception - I never stopped dancing! Picking our dj and photographer we're very important to us as I wanted a party my friends would remember and talk about and my wife wanted beautiful photos to one day show our kids and to remember the day with. With Limelight we got both. The one thing that stood out to me was during our first initial meeting, they answered every question before we even asked it. They were very helpful setting up the day and were a lot of fun the day of. Our photos turned out great and our photographer Richard had everyone laughing and having a good time. Our Dj Leon made sure everything at the reception was perfect and gave me the party I was looking for. We had no clue what we were doing walking in to planning our wedding but all the people at Limelight were incredible and set us up so everything was what we wanted. When it came time to plan our daughter's wedding we were referred to Limelight Entertainment by several families who have recently hired them to handle their children's or relatives special occasions. Mr. Harris was very thorough and paid special attention to details we may have overlooked. Very professional staff and extremely accommodating to last minute changes!! We really liked the way these guys worked. My groomsmen were a difficult group and actually felt bad for the photographer because they were being a little too rowdy. He had the patience to work through and still managed to get a ton of great shots. Our dj kept the dance floor full the whole. night and made sure the reception was ran smoothly from beginning to end. Limelight did a fantastic job from the day we booked and we couldn't have been happier.

When these gentlemen call themselves "the wedding pros" they are absolutely correct. Every second the of planning and of the event were absolutely easy and perfect. From the pre-wedding, online planning tool, to the set-up at our outdoor, park wedding, to the appearance of both Richard and Scott, to the emceeing and music ALL evening....everything was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. My fiancé probably cared about the selection of our DJ more than any other aspect of our wedding. He interviewed and communicated with several DJs prior to finding Limelight--many at different price points both higher and lower. Limelight was not the cheapest or most expensive option on the list, and we are 100% happy with every penny we spent. It's absolutely true that you get what you pay for, and these guys were worth every penny. Our wedding would not have been the perfect party it was if it weren't for Richard and Scott and the amazingly professional attitude of these two gentlemen.
