Professional, prompt, reliable and affordable? Don't be fooled by these marketing terms on the company's website.
Prompt - showed up 40 minutes late and WE had to call THEM to inquire about their whereabouts - no proactive notification that they were "stuck in traffic". (We checked the Waze app after they told us this and we did not see any traffic or car wrecks that would have been holding them up). We had to call the restaurant where we had reservations multiple times to let them know we were still running late because of our poor transportation company. We almost lost our reservation.
Reliable - after being late for the first pick up, we had no idea if we even had a ride home. Especially after the owner threatened to leave us in the parking lot of the bar (see below).
Affordable - you have to pay cash, probably because they don't pay taxes. After charging hundreds of dollars for a 20 minute ride from North Myrtle to Broadway, the owner, Dan, texted us multiple times while we were out trying to enjoy our night to tell us that we still owed $38 for tip (we had already paid the full amount and tipped, just not a 20% tip because they were 40 minutes late). He DEMANDED a 20% tip, despite the subpar service. I asked him if he tips 20% at a hair salon or restaurant if he isn't happy with the service and he was unable to answer that question. I then directed him to our written contract which quoted the price as "$xxx plus tip". Not "plus 20% tip" just "plus tip". Tip is a subjective amount that is up to the receiver of the service to decide. Apparently Dan doesn't understand this concept.
Professional - Dan, the owner, was aggressive almost to the point of verbally assaulting us as we called to question the $38 extra he was demanding. He refused to let his driver leave the parking lot with us inside the car unless we paid the extra tip, threatening to leave us stranded. He didn't understand simple business concepts which makes me question his ability to be a business owner - scary!
Bottom line: I DO NOT recommend this limo service and wouldn't wish this AWFUL experience on my worst enemy.
