Hi we are Lindsey Mae Events & Designs. A full service wedding planning, decor and design company based in Knoxville, TN but traveling all over the south for our brides. We strive to make each wedding a one of a kind unique experience that you won't ever forget. We pride ourselves in bringing southern charm and classy timeless designs to our events. Lindsey is a 2012 Interior Design graduate from CNU and Emmi is a 2021 Interior Design graduate from PS. With our wide variety of skills in the industry we pride ourselves in our designs. We also have a team of 4 other ladies that assist us.

Lindsey & her team was amazing to work with! They helped us find our vendors and create our perfect smoky mountain wedding. They had all our wedding setup so quickly day of and have the best decor inventory to choose from. We couldn't have had such a stress free day with out them as our planners.

I booked with Lindsey Mae Events probably 8-9 months before my wedding outside of Charlotte NC after posting about needing a coordinator on a Charlotte wedding Facebook group. I had a couple of FaceTime calls with them as I was doing my decor and flowers through them as well. I had to text reminders for them to update the color scheme on the canva that they were keeping track of everything on. The hurricane happened and impacted western NC, which would have been the route that theyâd take to get to my venue, so they cancelled on me two weeks before my wedding. Iâm usually super understanding and it would have been a completely different story if they were directly impacted by it, but the reasoning was that they didnât feel comfortable coming to a part of North Carolina that wasnât even impacted by the hurricane. A quick google search from their address to our venue told me that there was an alternate route that would take them through southern VA and then back down to NC. I honestly felt like they dropped the ball on my wedding and were looking for a way out, especially because they were doing âmonth ofâ services and I heard nothing from them a month before my wedding until they cancelled on me two weeks before. They also kept half of my deposit which doesnât seem fair considering they were the ones cancelling on me due to not being comfortable to travel to my venue. I ended up finding another coordinator who also did my decor and provided so much advice & support, so I feel as if this was meant to happen because I donât think my wedding wouldnât have gone as smoothly with them there.

Lindsey Mae Designs made my wedding a dream come true! I canât thank each one of them enough for being a part of such a special day for my husband and I. They are the kindest people you will ever meet. They made everything so easy for me. From setting up meetings, helping me with a vision board, etc. The VERY BEST!

Knowledgeable, flexible, helpful! I planned my wedding out of town so having a designer and coordinator that was in town and could give me suggestions was so helpful. My wedding looked beautiful and my day went exactly how I wanted it to!

She listened to what I wanted, but also provided great options and ideas in areas where I wasnât sure. We worked with Emmi and Lauren throughout the process. They were prompt with communication and thorough with the whole process. We were able to rent tablecloths thru them, which helped alot. Lauren was the best coordinator throughout the whole wedding day. She was organized and kept us all on task and wasn't afraid to help with just about everything from announcing dances to cutting the cake. I would absolutely recommend these ladies for any event, but they were wonderful for our wedding.

I cannot speak higher about Lindsey! She was spot on with everything that was asked of her, we even asked for a in person meeting because our wedding was on a short time frame for florals and she welcomed us to her shop along with even showing us different types of greenery to use.
She made everything we wanted happen even with all the chaos of shipping and certain types not being available. She found them all, she did it all. 10/10 would recommend!

Emmi was my day of coordinator and to say she was amazing is an absolute understatement. She is the sweetest person, and if it was not for her my wedding would not have went as perfect as it did. She was on time with everything. Exceeded my expectations by a far. Calmed down drama. 10/10 for Emmi. I will hire her for all my upcoming events without hesitation!

We had an amazing experience working with Lindsey Mae Events & Designs. They handled our coordination as well as décor and florals. They had worked with all of our vendors previously and gave us fantastic suggestions. We worked with Emmi. She was so quick to respond any time we had questions and made sure to communicate everything with us. Day of, Emmi made everything a breeze. Our big day went so smoothly thanks to their team!

When I forgot items for the wedding and remembered just a couple hours before the ceremony, they wasted no time running to the store to purchase the items we were missing. I hired Lindsey to be my Day of Coordinator as my venue recommended her and would not allow me to have my ceremony at the venue without a Day of coordinator. Approximately, two months before my wedding when I reached out to her asking about my timeline etc for my day because she had not reached out to me yet. She said another bride had rescheduled on my same day and has decided to give me her assistant. Thatâs fine, I understand weddings get rescheduled due to Covid BUT this company only wants your money. I had to reach out to her assistant multiple times vis email to figure out my day of schedule for my wedding and how long the assistant would be there etc. Then the assistant surprised me the night before when I was doing rehearsal and told me, my grandfather and other family members that because there were three other weddings in the area she was going to be at my wedding at 10:30am til 4:30pm (6 hours) as the other wedding near my venue started at 4pm. I was fine with that, it didnât matter as my wedding started at 2pm. The morning came and the assistant did not show up at 10:30am, she finally showed up around 12:20pm and went directly to me saying that her being there at 10:30am was not what was in my contract, that she was suppose to be there at 12:30pm. Which would have been true if she had not changed it the night before. Maybe she misspoke but multiple people heard her and confirmed she said 10:30am. My ceremony ended up starting 40 minutes late and on top of this, the assistant brought her own assistant. The assistant to Lindsey did not stay the whole time at my wedding and left multiple times to go attend to the other wedding close by. Lindseyâs assistant did get my girls down the aisle and made my husband and I a plate of food but I ended up setting up my first dance on my own and other things. If it had not been for VE videography helping me, nothing I wanted to get done would have been done on my special day. The assistantâs assistant stayed til 6:30pm but just stood in a corner and did nothing. I was suppose to say my vows with my husband on our own before the parent dances, that the day of coordinator was going to set up but neither of them did and I missed getting to do that. Lindseyâs assistant did not stay til 6:30pm (6hours) which was originally planned but the assistant assistants stayed. I missed out on important things I wanted to do at my wedding because of this. They were all in over their heads and would have been better off not being selfish and letting me know they could not longer do my wedding and I would get a refund and find someone else. Completely disappointed. Future brides that hire this company, PLEASE make sure to ask important questions such as âwhat happens if someone rescheduled their wedding on my day?â And âwill I be getting uninterrupted attention on my big day by Lindseyâ.

Lindsey made my vision a reality. I wanted a simple yet elegant wedding with eucalyptus (all inspired by my Pinterest page which she reviewed). Not only did she do a fabulous job with the day of wedding coordination and decoration but she also did a stunning job on my floral arrangements including an arbor! Tyler and I both were so pleased with Lindsey and her team. I would highly recommend her for your wedding florals as well as wedding coordination and decorations!

Lindsey was outstanding! Not only is she easy to work with during wedding preparation, but she kept me/vendors/guests so organized and calm during rehearsal/wedding day. Couldnât have asked for a better support system during our special day!
In addition to her great planning, her flowers and decor were truly a bonus. Absolutely stunning flowers arrangements and she created a beautiful wedding venue from scratch.

I cannot express how awesome Lindsey and her team are! I flew in from TX for my wedding. I literally did nothing but show up once I was there! The months leading up she found all my vendors and coordinated everything with them! It was so amazing how easy and non stressful she made my wedding! We did a cabin wedding and she decorated it beautifully!! She also did all the florals!!!

Lindsay was so incredibly helpful and made our special day everything we wanted it to be! We were able to FaceTime (since we lived 8 hours away)Lindsay and pick out our decorations. She was able to set up a mock table and really make our vision come to life. On the day of, she was so helpful making sure people knew what they were doing and what was going on. Lindsey did all the decorating for our destination wedding. She used a combination of decor items she had and some I brought as well. She created a detailed document to keep track of all of my requests, which was really helpful because I could add and modify details as I thought of things. We had many compliments that our wedding was absolutely beautiful and that would not have been possible with Lindsey setting everything up for us!

I cannot begin to express how amazing Lindsey and her team were for my wedding day. We got engaged during Covid and I reached out to several wedding planners in Knoxville, Tennessee. Everyone was asking to do Zoom meetings to plan my wedding but Lindsey offered to have a meeting at her home and explained Covid restrictions with this meeting. This was the sign for me that Lindsey was dedicated to my wedding day and was willing to be there no matter what!
We met with Lindsey several times prior to the wedding, emailed back and forth, and she was always willing to deal with my crazy. The day of my wedding was simply perfection. My mother and I got to be in the bridal room being pampered all day long and there was zero stress!! Lindsey and her team set everything up, decorated the entire venue, coordinated with all the vendors, and we did not have to lift a finger! This was very important to me and my mother. Lindsey and her team exceeded all expectations that we had! I highly recommend Lindsey and her team for a wedding!! My flowers, arbors, place settings, table decorations, and everything else were exactly how I dreamed them to be. We gave Lindsey our idea for the night and venue and she brought it all to life in the most incredible ways. We could not love them more and rave about them more!!

We loved Lindsey! Not only was she amazing at what she does but I did not give her a ton of direction and she brought my vision to life. I loved being able to get flowers from her as well. She was beyond flexible with accommodating the flowers to fit our budget. My husband was floored when he walked in and saw everything we had been planning come to life and it was all thanks to her!

I hired Lindsey for our November wedding, sadly due to the pandemic we had to cancel our beautiful location and go closer to home (different state). She was so helpful with everything when planning the original wedding, and her decor items are amazing. I may not have my original wedding but she did help me have a much better idea of what I will need to do now that I am having a pandemic wedding. I wish I had been able to have the one we planned but Iâm grateful for the help and understanding when I had to cancel.

When planning a wedding amidst a pandemic, there are apparent fears and the typical nerves associated with getting married. I was encouraged to search for a wedding planner before the pandemic, and I came across Lindsey, who I had never heard of because I was not local to the area. After meeting her for the first time, it was clear that her knowledge would make the best day of my life as smooth as possible. While there are so many things I could say about Lindsey and this process, I want to highlight that she is a needed and calm presence throughout the process and on your wedding day. I wouldn't consider myself an overly involved bride, and Lindsey respected my pace and was never pushy. However, she is timely, professional, and "about her business." You tell her your ideas, and she manages to make magic. I never questioned her timeline or her assurance with anything during the process. As a "long-distance bride" from my wedding planner, there are also nerves about how everything will come together, and let me tell you, Lindsey did not disappoint me in any way. Trust me, I am not one to write a lengthy review on anything, but she pulled through. I could not have imagined enduring rehearsal without her; she has everything prepped without question. Lindsey relieved so much stress from my family on the wedding day, as she ensured that every detail I had requested was fulfilled. I could not be happier with my decision to use Lindsey as my wedding planner, and on your wedding day, she even brings the sweetest helpers to guarantee a perfect day. I am so appreciative and grateful, and I would highly recommend using Lindsey Mae Design and Events!

If I had to summarize our experience with Lindsey Mae Events & Designs I would say it was absolutely minimal at best and borderline painful in parts. Prior to the wedding we met with Lindsey several times. That part was adequate however, we had a few concerns because it didn't feel like she was asking us many questions or giving us much guidance about what was going to happen. We hoped though because of the price we were paying and because of other reviews that the day of everything would come together. When the wedding day came around though the experience was truly terrible and that really could be considered an understatement. Overall, Lindsey's crew was generally unavailable and we had to double check everything they did. They arrived after every other vendor and were rushing to finish the decor. We only had a few specific requests but they didn't even get those right. My groomsmen and I ended up coordinating the vendors which meant I didn't get to even sit down once before the wedding started. To give an example of one of their many careless mistakes, they put our wedding programs on the table going into the reception instead of going into the ceremony. When we were scheduled to enter the reception they were down at the reception eating and helping themselves to the open bar. Our photographer had to run down the hill and coordinate with the DJ. At the cake cutting I had to coordinate everyone because they were not there. They had already begun to clean up their decor while we were up the hill cutting the cake. At the end of the day many things were left undone including turning off the propane heaters. I had to make sure things were correctly cleaned up because they left before we did. This review may be long however, it truly is only a short summary of the ways they failed us on our wedding day. Since the wedding we have even heard from our other vendors more stories about the ways the coordinators failed on their responsibilities. The thing that was most difficult though is that we hired Lindsey Mae Events & Designs so our friends didn't have to serve at our wedding but because of Lindsey and associates it ended up being the complete opposite. Thankful, despite all of their failures, because of our friends and other vendors we still had a great time at our wedding.

I hired a coordinator in the hopes of making my day less stressful but instead it added to my stress and ended up in embarrassment. My guest commented on their unprofessional appearance and lack of work ethic. They disregarded the reception layout I gave them. They also told me they didnât have my seating arrangement 20 minutes before I walked down the isle because it wouldnt print. I immediately wrote it on paper for them and they went ahead and seated empty plates for guest that didnât come after I told them previously to ignore the extra name tags packed. I kept getting asked where the missing people were and if they were coming, people were weirdly spaced out and it left barely any room for me to walk between the tables. I also hired them for clean up so that my guest wouldnât have to yet they announced for my guest to carry their own chairs back from the ceremony. Once the event was over I was told by the venue the area needed to be swept and mopped for me to get my security deposit back. She brushed it off and my guest jumped in and mopped my venue. She didnât even have my name right on her wedding binder lol. I was her third wedding in a row so overall I felt like I wasnât listened to or cared about and that I was just a number in her books.

Lindsey was awesome! She helped us through our rehearsal and wedding day and made everything go off better than planned. She helped design and execute our wedding down to every last detail, and worked with all of our other vendors flawlessly. Lindsey and her team did an amazing job making sure my daughter's Smoky mountain wedding was perfect. She was sweet and friendly to work with. Lindsey arrived early the day of the wedding and stayed late to make sure everything was packed away. It gave us peace of mind. This was a destination wedding and we did not meet until the rehearsal but we knew we were in good hands.

Lindsey Mae Events was wonderful to work with. Every item was planned in detail and executed perfectly. The day of the wedding, she took so much stress off of us. We had a couple problems come up with another vendor and Lindsey jumped in to help resolve them. She was on point with directing the wedding and rehearsal. She kept everything running with smoothly. I hired Lindsey to decorate and coordinate my cabin reception. I came from out of town, so we never met in person before the event, but I was still able to communicate what I was looking for over faceTime/text. I was floored by how beautifully she decorated the cabin and so we're all of my guests! It truly was everything that I wanted and more! And, I didnt know this until after the reception, but the caterers ended up having trouble getting to my reception on time. They were of course suppose to set up the food at the reception before the guests got there! Instead, they dropped the food off late, didn't even set anything up and just left! Lindsey handled it so amazingly well! She got everything set up and didn't make it seem like a big deal to any of my guests that the caterers had messed up on their part, I know that wasn't an easy task! Thank you for handling that so well! Everything looked so beautiful all set up! She kept everything flowing nicely during the reception and all in all, though everything didn't go exactly how I had pictured it, it was still perfect! I am so grateful to have had Lindsey there. Thank you so much for all that you did to help me have my perfect wedding!! đ

Lindsey was a lifesaver by taking all of my worry and stress away so I could enjoy our day! I don't know what I would have done without her. She was in constant communication with me and got in touch with all of my vendors to make sure they had a timeline of the entire day. Her attention to detail from the flowers, to the rehearsal, centerpieces, tables and chair covers was incredible. I can honestly say that I just ENJOYED my wedding and reception. That's all I wanted to do and not to worry about anything. Thanks to Lindsey and her professionalism...it was possible. It was a perfect day for my husband and I. She's the best!!!!

Most reasonable prices. Felt like she only talked to me 3-4 times before the wedding, and usually only because I reached out with questions. I did not feel like she understood what look I was trying to achieve, though my wedding ended up beautiful. She hung drapery that was dirty, and she did not seem to care about finer details (such as napkin folds etc). Caused me a bit more stress than I hoped for, since I never felt like she knew what I wanted for my wedding.

Lindsey was an absolute dream to work with!! She really pulled our vision together, and helped smooth over every issue that arose during the wedding day. Her organization skills really helped made the necessities clear, and my only regret is that I hadnât hired her as a full on wedding planner! Seriously this woman will save your life and make your wedding amazing.

Lindsey was incredibly helpful in planning my wedding. I only hired her for day-of coordination, but I wished I had hired her for the entire wedding planning package! She did a fantastic job making sure everything went smoothly, everyone was where they were supposed to be, and made sure everything looked exactly as I imagined it! She was patient and helpful with my millions of questions all thruout the planning process. She has great connections with a bunch of vendors, so I highly recommend you use her to help plan your whole wedding! Two thumbs up!
