Holds ceremonies and receptions
Amy could not have picked a better place to finally so “I do”. First we met Jade who took us through the place and showed us what the place has to offer. Who also helped me along the way of planning. And believe me I had lots of questions trying to give Amy the wedding she deserved on such a blue collar income. We were then introduced to Amber our DOC. Between Amber and Jade they took us through how everything would go and calmed us down along the stresses of bringing a wedding together. I was completely dumbfounded throughout this process and these two really put it together for us. Amy and the girls had an awesome room to get ready in while I was to get there early and set up. However with a lot of kids I was late helping them prepare. When I got there Amber had pretty much set up all I brought the night before when they took us through the motions. All the stress I had built up on my way there to set up was relieved. As I finished putting together what I forgot to bring the night before both Jade and Amber worked hard finishing setting the ceremony site and last minutes pieces I brought in the hall. All meanwhile checking on Amy and making sure the ready room was doing well. Half hour to showtime and I finally let myself drop the worry and got ready. From there on Jade,Amber, and Brittnie took over and made sure we both enjoyed our night. Brittnie who we met on our first trip there was an awesome add to the party. Her behind the bar made it one hell of a night. Still remember her laughing with us when we were there on a tasting saying she wanted to be apart of this one. 😂. Between these three ladies who made us feel like an extended family rather than just another customer and this beautiful venue, Amy was definitely given her princess wedding. A huge thank you to you 3 ladies and the winery. Anyone that wants to find a way to make a great wedding work I suggest you give these ladies a chance to give you two future married couples the night you’ll never forget.
Our wedding at Linganore Winecellars on September 27, 2025 was everything we hoped for — romantic, scenic, and full of heart. The view of the rolling vineyards behind the pavilion made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and the indoor reception space was elegant yet cozy. Guests are still talking about how stunning the venue was!
The planning team was responsive, patient, and accommodating from the very beginning. They made the process so much easier by answering every little question and keeping us informed about logistics and vendor coordination.
And Brittany, our Day-of Coordinator, was truly a dream. She kept everything running smoothly even when the weather threw us a curveball, always calm and reassuring. She handled every last-minute change with grace and made sure we could just relax and enjoy our day. I don’t know what we would have done without her!

Gracing the rich hillsides in Mount Airy, MD, Linganore Winecellars provides a romantic wedding venue cloistered in the countryside. The largest winery in Maryland, the vineyard offers expansive grounds and capacious buildings that give couples an inviting space to add their own touch. The fertile terrain boasts fantastic vistas, creating a delightful and enchanting place for hosting wedding celebrations in any season.
Transforming the grounds of an old dairy farm to a vineyard in 1972, Linganore Winecellars has been passed down through generations. With this history, the location has a rich feeling of tradition. This 230-acre estate has gorgeous views and a peaceful pond which create a romantic backdrop for your festivities. Options include a banquet hall, the 4,500-square-foot Berrywine Pavilion, and the vineyard lawn, giving couples both indoor and outdoor event space options. Depending on which space within the winery couples choose, the space can host up to 200 guests.
While in a renovated 19th-century barn, Linganore Winecellars Abisso Banquet Hall exudes refinement. Featuring ceilings that reach up to 23 feet high, the hall is constructed with natural wood and exposed chestnut beams. This space is fully climate controlled and modernized for guests’ comfort. Large windows cluster the walls of the barn, adding the warmth of natural light to the already soft wood paneling, creating an inviting space. As a winery, this location simultaneously offers a dash of sophistication to the rustic barn locale, making it both sophisticated and homey.
Services include catering, a bar, and professional staff to keep guests happy. For ceremonies, couples are provided with white chairs, including setup and breakdown services. Rental time for ceremonies in the winery is a half-hour, perfect for simple, dedicated vow exchanges. To thank guests and give them something to remember the evening by, the winery offers an optional package of custom wine labels and wine glasses. To host showers and rehearsals, they also have the Bacioni Room, which has been recently renovated for an extra dose of finesse. The winery also provides a selection of trusted vendors to couples for wedding planning ease.
