that is a very accurate description of Linh. You can tell that she loves what she does, and that she works with passion. It made me feel comforted that my wedding dress was in the hands of someone who cares about what she does the way she does. Her husband Byron and everyone else who works at the shop are so welcoming and helpful as well. I was always greeted with a smile. ecided to pay off my dress because I wanted to support her business and had all the faith in the world in her (big mistake). I also hoped to see what she had done so far on my dress, nada... ok not a big deal. **intermission on this review–if you are a people pleaser and don’t like conflict DO NOT COME HERE, I will take some blame in this, I should’ve demanded the dress I paid for and hounded her til I got what I wanted, although 3 days before the wedding doesn’t leave much time to fix some issues** So I come back in February to check on the progress and have a dress made for my mother, mind you she has never once reached out to me during this time, and she tells me she has the lace cut but wouldn’t let me see it. Ok... Covid hits and the state shuts down in March, I’m freaked out obviously and trying to figure out what to do about my wedding and still heard nothing about my dress at this point. April, I reach out to her about a date change but I really want my dress, still haven’t even seen it! (7 months later). At this point she is just gaslighting me into not picking up my dress-but she says she will just send a pic. I get the photo, pretty dress but not my lace or cut. I tell her it’s not mine and she informs me (due to covid) she didn’t get my lace and changed it cause ‘her clients trust her’. and something about a hem I wanted(no clue there).. I’m floored. I didn’t even recognize my own custom made dress, lol She never called to tell me the situation–and on my February visit said the lace was cut?? WHO CHANGES A DRESS WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE BRIDE (I don’t buy her excuse since I ordered this dress in October) To mend the situation she says she’ll make another for my new July 11th date. I’m super nervous but can’t speak up for myself so I just decided to give her a second chance. I finally see the dress end of June and fit wasn’t right but lace was right so guess that’s a win? I was just happy to have something to wear at that point. Asked for top to be let out and back to be more fitted with buttons down the bottom (as was discussed before and in inspo pics) she says sure and I come back the next week and again, underwhelmed(3 days before my wedding). All she did was cut the bottom length. Added 4 buttons, not fitted, and the whole thing felt rushed and so did I. Lol So after 9 months I finally saw my dress... long story short don’t recommend. Her work is good which is what makes this review hard, but I’m sorry, you cannot run a business this way. I don’t know if she just didn’t like my vision, or literally forgot what I ordered? (The only form for her to reference is a doodle in her notebook so who knows). Either way, I was not demanding, rude, or overbearing. I was the opposite of those things, so if you are like me, avoid at all costs.

fter I’d purchased a dress from an online shop and needed some alterations done. The work she completed on my dress was beautiful! I really appreciated that she didn’t judge where I got my dress from, she only wanted to make sure I was happy with the fit! Her personal story is amazing - it’s not every day you find a vendor who shows you the heart behind what they do. I truly would only change the dress I wore on my wedding day to have had one crafted by Linh herself!

I would get an email with everything that needed to be done and the price. It was 10 days before I got the email and the price was pretty high so I emailed back and asked to get some things taken off to lower the price. I never got an email confirmation so I called the shop three times and no one ever answered. Four weeks before my wedding I called to see if I could set up a date to pick up my dress. They told me they could not give me a date yet, but it would be the week before my wedding. I went with my husband to pick out his suit two weeks before the wedding. they still wouldn't tell me a date to come pick up my dress. They told us to come pick up his suit the Thursday before our Sunday wedding. I called everyday the week before my wedding and they would still not give me a date to pick up my dress. They told me it would be ready in time for the wedding. I called on Wednesday night and they told me I could come in on Friday morning two days before the wedding to pick up my dress. I told them I needed to pick it up on Thursday because I had appointments all day on Friday. They told me that just wouldn't work. I ended up having to cancel my appointments on Friday to pick my dress. When it came time to put on the dress, I found out she hadn't taken out the things I had emailed her about. This resulted in paying more money and being short on my budget two days before the wedding. Overall this was a stressful process which ended in a lot of tears right before my wedding. Do not use her unless you want to be stressed to the last minute for your wedding.

vice for my veil, shoes, and accessories. Linh definitely gets to know you and makes sure that every detail of your look is exactly the way you want it to be. My dress fit like a glove. I ended up needing to make some last minute alterations the week of the wedding and Linh had my dress fixed within 24 hours. Truly amazing service!

I had to go back into the store to check on where my dress was in the alteration production, she was rude, told me my dress was fine and she would call me in an hour and walked away leaving me alone in the store! She did call me, FOUR hours later, only to tell me she needed 4 more weeks! I agreed and it was ready 5 weeks later! Linh did not do everything we agreed upon; however, she didn’t charge me for additional bling added to my dress! Also, I referred a friend to her for alteration on her wedding dress, to make a long story short, my friend had to pick up her untouched dress six days before her wedding and had to take it to a different alterations shop that had it done in TWO days and for half the cost! I will giver her credit, Linh’s alterations was done well IF you want to leave your dress for SIX MONTHS! I was fortunate that I took my dress in January for alterations for a wedding taking place in September 2018! Sorry....but I will NEVER use or recommend this place again!

nal color so I was left without a dress very close to my wedding date! And conservative lace ballgowns with long sleeves and a train are hard to come by nowadays. I went to her and she promised to make my dress in the right color and even added extra detailing that my original dress didn't have including a built-in corset and extra lace! And when she pointed out that my groom's white tux would not look good in pictures with my ivory dress, Bryon worked hard, called all of his sources, and found an ivory and black tux for my groom that was the exact shade as my dress! And to find matching shades of white or ivory in bridal is a miracle in itself!... For my bridesmaids, I wanted conservative ballgowns with sleeves in a very unique magenta/ purple color and I squealed with excitement when I saw my bridesmaids try them on! They were so stunning and fit them so perfect and were very slimming! They were covered up without looking frumpy. She also made a flower girl dress to match my dress and a sash for it to match the bridesmaids and it was so darling! And then to top off how sweet and awesome she is, made me a garter and made pocket squares for my groomsmen to match the bridesmaid dresses' unique color....She gave me my dream princess dress that I wouldn't have had without her, and my groom absolutely loved it! He couldn't take his eyes off of me and wanted to twirl me around all night and said i looked just like a princess! The gown was a showstopper, worthy of my historical cathedral wedding! I felt like a true royal and danced the night away and the ballgown swooped so beautifully when I moved! She put so much love into everything she did for me and stayed very late at night in her shop to make sure my wedding dress was picture perfect! I consider them both dear friends now! So genuine and passionate about what they do! I was a bit nervous about having a gown made and having no idea how it would actually turn out or fit, but I was worried about nothing! You are in more than good and qualified hands with Linh! I wish I would've came to her in the first place to make my dress! Ladies, if youre debating a store bought or custom dress, take the leap of faith and have her make your dream dress! You won't regret it! It will be a one of a kind, high quality heirloom dress to pass down for generations! Thank you Bryon and Linh!!!

much it would cost. I had my initial conversation with Bryon and immediately felt like I was in great hands after he explained to me how long his wife had been working with wedding dresses. I made an appointment since the initial consultation is free and received the most heartfelt advice. Linh even pointed out areas of the dress that she could make fit better and added a bezel to my dress, which I didn't even think could be done since my dress was all tulle. I had paired my dress with a suggested sash from the website I ordered it from, but when I finally put it on with the dress, it did not go with the dress at all. I asked Linh what kind of sash she would recommend, and she pulled out one that she had hand made that matched the beading of dress PERFECTLY. It made my dress look so much more beautiful. And on top of that, it was highly affordable. Linh also paired a veil with my dress that worked so well. Shes great about piecing together your whole look if you’re like me and don’t know what you’re doing haha. I ended up sending my fiancé to Bryon for suit advice and Bryon dressed the groomsmen up very well. One of our groomsmen was out of the country until 2 days before the wedding, so we had to send Bryon measurements via email. When I picked the suit up, Bryon even gave me his cell phone number so that I could reach him in case the suit didn't end up fitting right. The shop was actually closed the week of our wedding due to holidays, but the fact that both Byron and his wife were willing to come in anyway to make sure that everything fit perfectly blew my mind. The customer service at this place is out of this world.

t for my wedding. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. She is very busy so bring her what you need in advance and tell her a week before you need it so it is not last minute. She made my best friend’s wedding dress from scratch and it was beautiful!

xed the top so it wouldn't fold down (she said a common issue for strapless gowns) she also turned my dress into a high low dress. I love that she saved all the scraps from the dress as well so i could use then on my bouquet without having to ask. She told me it would take 8 weeks to compete and 8 weeks and 1 day later she called to tell me i could come try it on again. I will be wearing a jean jacket over my dress and Lihn is tailoring that to fit better and show off the dress. My favorite part is that i can try it on the week of the wedding and she can get me in for last minute alterations if i change any in the next 3 months!

r. The family business feel was matched by their outstanding professionalism. Linh is very talented, and she has great taste! She offered suggestions for my dress that I wouldn't have thought of on my own, and I am so glad that I listened! I wish that I would have bought my dress from her since she does custom dresses, and she has amazing seamstress abilities. Brian was awesome to work with as well. My husband loved his suit! It fit really well, and looked really sharp. He was able to get everything that he needed for himself and the groomsmen at Linh's. Our groomsmen flew into town the Thursday prior to our Saturday wedding, and Brian got them fitted and had the suits ready by Friday! We were all extremely impressed, and so relieved that we chose them for our attire!

want to be in tears before your wedding, go with Linh. Otherwise avoid at all costs!!

med it and added a bustle. Also, I didn't even realize that the straps were falling off my shoulders but she saw that and suggested we fix them. It changed the way the dress fit me. It was perfect, so glad I didn't have to keep pulling up the straps all night!
