ur on the veranda and just escalated from there. The food and drink were great but the band was outstanding. The dance floor rocked from just after dinner until closing at 11pm, no breaks. The diversity and selection of the music was so on target for the venue and the guests. The dance floor was jammed with guests having the best time of their lives. It was basically a concert held exclusively for the wedding and the reviews from each of the guests were Aces. If you’re shopping for a wedding band that kicks ass, look no further. In addition to the performers, the band came ready with lighting and sound professionals. So while the sound rocked, it wasn’t deafening to the point of aggravation. It was just right. You can’t go wrong with Lion + Tiger, sign them up !

STOP. The band was too good NOT to be on the dance floor. They play to every generation. Jess knows exactly what she’s doing and we are so happy we listened to her when she said “trust me, I know what we will play and what we will stay away from.” They are not you’re typical, run-of -the-mill wedding band by ANY means. If you want a memorable party you should stop looking and book Lion + Tiger immediately.

The entire process from hiring, to planning, to day of, was a breeze. Jessica is truly a delight to work with and made everything so easy. She was very knowledgeable about how to handle the schedule and festivities the night of and how to keep the energy with our guests high and keep them on the dance floor. You can also tell that every member of the band truly loves what they do and they all had a smile on their face the whole night. Our guests still won't stop raving about how good the band was! ouch and preforming the best dancing music that brought the party to the reception. As a country music fan, I requested a few country songs to be performed at the wedding. Oh my goodness! They did an outstanding job, way better then it would have been from an ipod. AND this was the first time playing them at a wedding. The energy they put into performing got the crowd up and dancing all night. All our friends and family are still talking about how amazing of a band they are! I would highly recommend booking this band if your looking to dance your butt off at your wedding. Lion+Tiger, you guys are the best!

will never forget is how Jess (lead female vocals) went above and beyond for me. Storytime: When it came time for my wedding reception I could not figure out my bustle. My dress had 7 layers of chiffon and tulle and God knows what else. My reception was starting without me and I still had a 4ft train behind me. I went out and did my first dance with my husband without bustling my dress. I couldn't move, I was stumbling over my dress and our first dance was not what I had imagined it to be. I was struggling when Jessica the female lead vocalist from Lion + Tiger came up to me and told me a story. She said "I just got married 6 months ago and could not figure out my bustle. The entire night my dress constricted my movements and I couldn't dance at my own reception." She grabbed me by the arms looked me dead in the eye and told me "cut that f*cker off". It was perfect. My husband and I are no nonsense people...I knew if I asked Eric what I should do he would say...cut that shit off and have a good time! But...I couldn't find anyone willing to cut the back of my wedding dress off. So I quietly excused myself. I ran and grabbed Jess. Together with Julie Hill (the wedding director at Architects) we snuck into the bridal suite, locked the door, and cut the back of my wedding dress off. Afterwards, I danced my ass off. I had so much fun at my wedding reception. And most of my guests just thought that I'd finally figured out my bustle. If it hadn't been for Jess caring enough to come give me a radical idea, my wedding would have been ruined. Jess saved my wedding. There aren't enough five star reviews in the world to explain how much this meant to me. These are the kind of people that you're hiring when you book Lion + Tiger. People that genuinely care about your experience and want you to have a good time. TLDR: Book Lion + Tiger you won't regret it.

(Our venue manager commented that it had been "many years" since she'd seen the dancefloor so full!) Jess and Nick were also so easy to work with leading up to the big day-- they answered all of our questions and easily accommodated our schedule of events for the evening, providing us and the venue with a detailed Run of Show to ensure that everyone was on the same page. They even learned a couple of songs for us, which made the day even more special. The music during the ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect as well-- beautiful and set the mood just right.

en’t familiar with this concept but the band easily set the tone of the wedding and created such an awesome atmosphere where everyone was having a blast and dancing all night. They are able to nail a wide range of genres in their own style that appealed to everyone by having 3 members that can sing differently. They also did sort of a “piano bar” style during cocktail hour which was great and they quickly had everyone dancing after the speeches. As the night unfolded and since the wedding, we have heard nothing but great reviews from our guests with the band being everyone’s highlight. They played their asses off (taking only one break for a 5 hour wedding) which is rare. If you’re considering booking Lion + Tiger for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

e had to get them booked for our wedding. They handled every aspect of our big day, including music for the ceremony. Having such a diverse group of talented musicians all assembled in one band gave us so many options throughout the day. Our guests were greeted by solo acoustic guitar as they arrived and enjoyed beautiful keyboards throughout the cocktail hour. The real fun started once the full band kicked in during the reception. Lion & Tiger’s set list is amazing and they kept our guests out of their seats and dancing all evening long. They made sure to play all the songs we had asked for along with the countless requests from our guests. My wife and I are already talking about throwing a party just so we can book them again. Trust me, you have to book this band…….

ing of our correspondence with Nick and Jess they were incredibly genuine. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable with what they offered and were very easy to work with. We had requested a special song for our first dance and they did not hesitate to learn it, they jumped at the opportunity. And they nailed it. Their song list is very well rounded, you'd be hard pressed to find a more diverse set list. They played everything we asked them to play and some. Above all, they are truly professionals, with the utmost respect and dedication to their art. They sounded amazing live and I look forward to having a reason to book them again in the future!

We found Lion & Tiger online and really liked their style and song list. We had an introduction call with Jess and Nick, and clicked with them immediately. A huge benefit of Lion & Tiger is that they provide all of the wedding music - ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, plus they have their own sound person (something I learned later that not all bands have). They provide all this at a completely reasonable rate. After booking them we went to two of their performances and knew right away we made the right decision. They were so fun and talented! Working with Jess and Nick on all the wedding lead up was very easy! They were highly organized. We decided on having acoustic guitar at our ceremony, a singer and keyboardist for cocktail hour and the full band at reception. We chose All of Me by John Legend for our processional, I walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and our Recessional was You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oates. Another wonderfully accommodating thing the band did was to accompany my step-mother's solo on guitar. I really felt they went above and beyond doing that! The band also learned and played our first song. We chose Perfect by Ed Sheeran and had taken dance lessons to choreograph the first half of the song. We were nervous about dancing to live music because we weren't sure the timing would be the same as the recorded version, but it was perfect! We got SO many compliments on the band from our friends & family. They had the dance floor PACKED! I can't recommend them any more highly! Book them!!

They had every one of our guests out on the dance floor all night. They even learned a few of our family's favorite songs upon our request - and nailed every one of them! Besides playing awesome music, they are also awesome people. Both Jess and Nick (band owners) were super professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the whole process. This was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Do yourself a favor - stop looking at other bands, go see them live if need be, and then hire them - you won't be disappointed!

From fulfilling special requests during the reception, to mixing in surprises of their own, to the amazing acoustic set during the ceremony, to the low key set during cocktail hour, this band was absolutely excellent and went above and beyond every step of the way. We chose Lion+Tiger after seeing them live, as we were cautious to make sure we got the right band. While I’m sure they’d recommend you do that and meet them, I wouldn’t delay. They are the one. Hire them and make sure no one else books them for your night. They are 100% worth every penny of their rate, and I whole heartedly recommend you hire them ASAP for your next wedding. Trust me, they are the best wedding band and the best wedding entertainment I have ever seen. I couldn’t be happier that I hired them!!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised that they sounded above and beyond any of their promo recordings they provide. The place we saw them play was jumping and everybody was on their feet grooving to the music Lion + Tiger was expelling from their amplifiers. We felt right there and then that this was the band that would make our magical night even more exciting and gives us the extra pop our friends would rave about for years to come. The band was extremely professional and organized when we met them at a cafe to discuss the itinerary and ceremonial music. They laid out the song tracks and even helped us orchestrate the line up of songs that would keep our event on track. The planning only took an hour and the performers were extremely efficient in time management. The day of the wedding Lion + Tiger was not only punctual but they showed up before anybody else, rehearsing and preparing their instruments for the live performance. The band had a stellar gig and outperformed even our wildest expectations. They had the whole party jumping and on their feet at all times and I am so thankful I went with a group that could really keep the memento and beat going throughout the night. I don't think I've ever danced so much and so enthusiastically as I did when Lion + Tiger performed. They are a treasure for sure and the memories of them playing at our wedding will be talked about for a long time to come. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wishes to have a tremendous group play at their special occasion.
