Lionsgate Event Center - Dove House & Gatehouse

ime they were very responsive, especially our planner Hanna! She was a huge help while planning, was very responsive, always made sure we were in the loop, and was an amazing day of coordinator. I don't think the day would've gone as smoothly without her. The venue itself is so beautiful so we did minimal decor and it was perfect. Super dog friendly and our dog was there the entire day with us. I also used a few of their recommended vendors such as Dasha Roberts for makeup, Buttonrock Bakery, Nate with DJ Maestro, and Party Liquor and have no complaints. They allowed an In n Out food truck which was a hit and one of my favorite parts. Definitely recommend this venue and Hanna as a planner!

ail to small or large for her to handle. She was there every step of the way to help us, and every detail was handled with mine and my husband's vision in mind. It was truly the most perfect day. Lionsgate is a stunning and unique venue, and the team behind it is small but mighty! I couldn't say enough good things! I felt so seen from start to finish. Our day truly went without a hitch, and my husband and I didn't have to lift a finger the whole day. We were able to just be present with our loved ones and I'm so grateful. I loved every second of our experience and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

tting ready spaces were perfect and they provided a coordinator. However, we didn’t realize how truly special and amazing this place and the team is! Madeline, our coordinator, helped make our wedding be smooth as little stress as possible. She was communicative, easy to get in contact with and talk to, kind, professional, and SO good at her job. She helped when we were lost, not knowing what to do when. And on the day of, my husband, our wedding party and I were able to just enjoy the day and not lift a finger. I truly don’t know what we would’ve done with Madeline and the team at Lionsgate. When I think back on my wedding, the whole weekend was perfect and this venue was a huge factor in that!

s and on the day of the wedding, her communication was excellent — she was always kind, prompt, and reassuring. What really stood out to me was how professional and thoughtful she was during the event. Instead of overwhelming me with every little hiccup that came up, she went to my Maid of Honor first and only brought things to my attention if absolutely necessary. That allowed me to fully enjoy my day without any stress. Thanks to Hannah and the entire team, my wedding was beautiful, seamless, and everything I dreamed it would be! I can’t thank them enough.

r, beautiful decorations and linens, and a trusted list of vendors. Everything came together beautifully, and I can honestly say I would do it all over again. Every vendor they recommended was fantastic, and the overall experience was amazing. The only area that caused some confusion was communication with the coordinator. She did a great job coordinating vendors and always responded promptly, but toward the end there was some disorganization around our final bill and guest count updates, which led to a couple of billing mix-ups. There were also a few small miscommunications about when we could use the getting-ready rooms and what responsibilities fell to the vendors versus the coordinator. On the wedding day itself, my family sometimes had a hard time locating her — especially once it started raining, when some extra coordination was needed. It wasn’t a major issue, but as a Type A bride who loves having every detail in order, I did feel some of the communication and day-of organization could have been stronger. I don’t say this to slander her in any way — she was kind, helpful, and clearly cared about making the day go well — but I want other brides to be aware of a few small things that might cause unnecessary stress if you’re someone who likes to have all the details buttoned up. All that being said, the day itself was truly magical. The venue was everything I dreamed of and more, and despite a few hiccups, I would choose Lionsgate again in a heartbeat.

amazing. We got the chance to work with Alaina and she is the sweetest person ever and helped us out so much and made sure our day was perfect! I cannot express just how much we appreciate all the did for us on our big day to make sure we were not stressed and had the best day ever!

property serve as ceremony and reception spaces. We chose the larger of their two venues and had our ceremony and reception at The Gatehouse. We loved the convenience of having both aspects of our wedding in one place. The planning process was seamless at Lionsgate. Soon after booking our date, we were assigned our INCREDIBLE coordinator Hanna Stimac, who was with us every step of our 2 year journey. The coordinator is included in the price of the venue, which was a huge perk! Hanna sat down with us early on to find out more about us as a couple and what we were looking for. Hanna then created a vendor package with recommended vendors. Any vendor that we booked through Lionsgate, we paid through Lionsgate as well. This component helped us stay organized and manage our budget. All of the vendors that we booked through Lionsgate were familiar with the venue, and communicated primarily with Hanna. On our wedding day, Hanna was truly a superstar. She is magic at what she does! She was there whenever my husband I needed her or had questions, but she also managed to stay in the background (in the best way!). We loved working with Hanna, and our wedding could not have been more beautiful thanks to Lionsgate's serene and elegant space. Thank you Lionsgate for making our dream wedding possible!

inator which made the day so much better, if you get a chance to work with Hanna Stimak she did such an amazing job, we wouldn’t have been able to get through the day without her. Highly recommend Lionsgate to anyone!

but Alaina had come prepped with ideas and solutions if we had needed a new plan - her demeanor is really what put us at ease for what could have been a really stressful situation! She was prepared, punctual, and made our day so lively and special. As a bride planning from out of state, Alaina made my life SO easy. Cannot recommend her more! The venue itself was perfect - the exact location my husband's parents were married in 30 years ago! So cute and can fit any vibe.

The venue provided a wedding coordinator who really helped to guide us through the process and answer any and all questions we might have had. Our wedding coordinator was Madeline and she immediately was so helpful. I envisioned a very magical, colorful, fairycore spring wedding and truly Madeline made it happen. All the vendors we used, aside from our photographer, were recommended by her. The food was so delicious, the deserts were to die for, and all the staff were so friendly! Absolutely recommend coming to Lionsgate for your event, it was overall such a beautiful experience!

ch a wonderful wedding day - Lionsgate made the experience stress-free. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, Madeline was so incredibly competent and detail-oriented. From everyone we worked with in the wedding planning process, Madeline stood a head and shoulders above everyone with her kindness, timeliness, and attentiveness. The venue was gorgeous, and the sub-vendors (DJ and food) was no hassle at all.

se and it was perfect for what we needed and to make our vision come true. The staff was so professional that night and worked so hard and added their services seamlessly to the night, very efficient and attentive without being overly so. Our wedding coordinator was a godsend, we had Madeline and she was the best thing to happen to me with this wedding. She went above and beyond to help us achieve our vision within the budget that we had set. She was extremely knowledgeable about what vendors would work well with us personality wise as well as where to get some of our decorations at a decent price. She was very communicative and understanding with what needed to be done and when, with suggestions, and just reassurance when I was extremely stressed with planning the weeding and going to school, she really stepped up and was integral to making our day as magical as it was and run as smoothly as it did. Without her I would had been a stressed mess and things wouldn't have been as amazing as they were. I will always recommend this venue!

he space is pretty customizable. We got married 10/20 at gatehouse and the ivy was a deep, beautiful red. Our reception was very fun and we danced the night away! When you book here, you're assigned a wedding coordinator who is more than a day of coordinator but not exactly a wedding planner. Their job is to be a go between for vendors to take the stress off of the couple who is planning. Once we got into planning, the coordinator only had a small list of "preferred vendors" for Lionsgate, which she would help coordinate with. The preferred vendors were more expensive than average and not really our taste as a queer couple. So, a lot of the planning fell to us. If you get married here, my advice would be to hire a wedding planner anyway. Note that if you book here you have to use their preferred liquor vendor (party liquor) as well as hire a Lionsgate preferred DJ. You can hire any other vendors you'd like. When you ask for prices, make sure to ask for hidden fees and costs. We have had a couple of surprises in our bills and deposits.

coordinators is so worth it. Alaina was my coordinator and was an absolute dream and literally already did things before even asked. She's such a pro and will be your biggest cheerleader throughout the entire wedding. I saved a lot of money on decor because you just don't need it with this venue. Linens and table settings included. I also saved by booking an off season wedding date. You also get access to the venue in the future for photos etc.

s absolutely gorgeous and you get so much at Lionsgate for a really great price! The best thing about Lionsgate, is that you get a wedding coordinator, which makes it so much easier because they handle a lot of the big stuff for you. Our wedding coordinator was Alex and she was absolutely wonderful! She made our day run so smoothly and listed to everything we wanted. I know our wedding day was so perfect and beautiful because of her and the work she did!

o life! I would absolutely recommend Lions Gate to all my friends and family!

or you can also work with any other vendor you would like. The advantage of choosing one of their preferred vendors is that your assigned wedding coordinator will do all of the coordination/communication with that vendor and the vendors are frequently at Lionsgate so they know the layout and processes very well. We used their preferred vendors for florals, photography, the photo booth, lighting & design, the stage rental, catering, and alcohol (you HAVE to use their preferred vendor for alcohol) and we LOVED THEM ALL!! Even though we only had ~100 guests, we still went with the Gatehouse. It honestly felt like the perfect space for that many people. We had lots of room to move around and dance, we had room for the band to set up, the bar in there is amazing, the outdoor ceremony space & patio are BEAUTIFUL, and the getting ready rooms for the bridesmaids and groomsmen are truly amazing. Lionsgate also puts on really fun date nights that you can go to while planning your wedding & even after you have already been married. And they are completely free! My husband and I have loved going to those. Overall, we had the best time ever at the Gatehouse. I would book it again a million times over. I really think it is one of the best wedding venues in all of Colorado!

t. I wasn't completely comfortable with some of the terms of the contract, but it was already signed. I wasn't about to cause a big fuss about anything. I raised a couple concerns with my wife, just to make her aware, then it was just "wait and see". I did jump online to read reviews from as many different sources as I could find. They were mostly positive, but not all. Again, it was a matter of "wait and see". It's important to point out two things: 1.) I have no idea what "is" and what "is not" standard in venue contracts. 2.) I was leery and highly critical walking into that venue for rehearsal, and the next day to start setting up. EVERY ASPECT OF THIS EVENT WAS EXTRAORDINARY! THE VENUE WAS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR IN EVERY WAY! This is no exaggeration. Keep in mind, I basically walked in there with a chip on my shoulder. The venue was immaculate, inside and out. Lionsgate isn't a hotel with multi-use venue space. Weddings is what they do. They have it dialed-in to perfection. We used some of their vendors and some that we hired ourselves. We hired the caterers from outside the venue's preferred vendor list. This was my main concern because we were contractually obligated to use venue staffing to handle the food once it was delivered to the venue-at an additional cost! Fear not people. The venue staff was outstanding! Our caterer prepared a delicious spread. The venue staff served it beautifully. They were all extremely well-mannered and polite, but confident in the way they performed their duties. Efficient but not hurried, attentive but never imposing, on top of every detail but seemingly invisible. Again, I am not exaggerating. They were THAT good. But that was nothing. The coordinator, provided by the venue, wasn't going to be outdone by her own support staff. It would be unfair to set the standard for excellence, based on her example. I am not kidding. From the moment we walked in to set up, until the final trip out the door, my mind was clicking. My wife worked hard to plan and prepare this event for our daughter and she had a vision. She expected my enthusiastic devotion to her every desire and she deserved it because her efforts were truly selfless. In my effort to stay 1 step ahead, I was constantly gathering details and looking for answers. Our coordinator, NATALIE, was right there for 10 consecutive hours. You know what she did really well? She COORDINATED! She was a calming presence. She knew every answer. She probably knew my next question before I did. My wife had chosen some specific wares, related to dessert, that we provided and I had to assemble. I went to Natalie when I couldn't locate them. The task was done. She had her staff wash and assemble everything. It was staged and ready to go. I'm thinking about some of the unfavorable reviews that I read prior to our event. Now that I have an informed perspective, I can appreciate all the contract terms. I wasted no time contacting Lionsgate to recognize the efforts of Natalie and her staff. The response I received reveals a sincere dedication to excellence that runs throughout the entire organization. These people are golden. Andrew Pascoe-Northglenn, CO

cess was efficient & so easy. Natalie's support in finding us vendors and aligning all the details for the actual day of the wedding were so professionally done, and we absolutely could not have done without her. The venue itself was easily the most beautiful of all the ones we considered. All of the event staff perfectly executed our vision. The Chandelier Barn was the perfect spot for first look & photos and the grounds themselves were full of gorgeous details. We really can't say enough good things about the experience and how special the Lionsgate team and Natalie in particular made our day.

she is nothing short of magical. From start to finish, Alaina demonstrated an unparalleled level of expertise, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned and executed. Alaina’s positivity and energy are truly contagious. She approached every interaction with a warm smile and a can-do attitude, which made the entire planning process not only stress-free but genuinely enjoyable. Her ability to coordinate all aspects of the event seamlessly is a testament to her incredible organizational skills and attention to detail. One of the standout qualities of Alaina is her exceptional follow-through. Every question was answered promptly, every concern addressed with care, and every aspect of the event handled with the utmost professionalism. Her vendor management was impeccable, effortlessly liaising with all our service providers to ensure everything ran smoothly on the big day. Kindness and professionalism are at the core of Alaina’s service. She treated us with such genuine warmth and respect, making us feel like we were her top priority at all times. Her ability to make everyone feel special and valued is a rare gift, and it added a personal touch to our wedding that we will cherish forever. In essence, Alaina brought a touch of magic to our wedding day. Her dedication, expertise, and infectious positivity created an unforgettable experience. If I could, I would get married again just to have the opportunity to work with Alaina once more. I am beyond impressed, and I wholeheartedly recommend Alaina Reis to anyone planning their special day. She truly is a gem, and I want everyone to have the opportunity to experience the joy of working with her.

the reception spaces were so beautiful and felt so intentionally designed to curate endless photo ops. We held our ceremony outdoors and reception indoors at the Gatehouse and received so many comments from our guests about how beautiful it was. On the planning side of things, all I can say is that as a bride, I wondered why I never related to any social media posts about being stressed or juggling vendors or needing spreadsheets; and that is because we had our coordinator, Alaina, in our corner. Lionsgate has a streamlined invoicing method that keeps everything super clear and organized, and Alaina handled all of that so that we could focus our energy on the special details. On top of that, Alaina was our biggest cheerleader through the entire process. She made us feel so good about every decision we made and our planning timeline, and rolled with every change we made. We would not have seen the vision we had come to life the way it did without her help and support. Our wedding day itself was absolutely perfect and that is in large part because of Alaina’s attention to detail and ability to keep things moving on schedule. She was an absolute joy to work with and we cannot recommend Lionsgate enough!

e to life and created a dream wedding for us! The entire planning process and the day of the wedding went so smoothly. Alaina and the entire staff made everything so fun and enjoyable. We feel so grateful to have gotten married at such a special and beautiful place!

helpful and flexible with getting us locked in. Madeline was our planner and she was the PERFECT addition to our day, making sure everything went off without a hitch. The venue itself is stunning and required very little additional decor, which was so helpful when planning. The vendors recommended by Lionsgate were also wonderful, and our wedding was truly more perfect than we ever could have imagined. Our guests had an amazing time and were well looked after by all of the staff. Would 100% recommend to any couple looking to have a fantastic celebration of love!

n, had the best suggestions for finishing touches and made sure everything turned out beautifully. 100% recommend this venue and Madeline!

y beautiful. We held our wedding in the Chandelier Barn and it was everything I dreamed our wedding would be. The Chandelier Barn is breath takingly stunning!! The Gatehouse was perfect for our dinner reception too. The entire team is amazing, most specifically Hanna, our wedding coordinator. She was incredible to work with, she made everything so easy and her attention to detail is impressive! Hanna was immediately responsive in communicating with us and her professionalism is top notch. I was not stressed and did not worry about anything throughout the planning process, and on the day of our wedding. Everything flowed perfectly, and Hanna was in charge of it all. She made great recommendations and suggestions when we needed them and made the planning process so smooth. I would highly recommend the Lionsgate Event Center as a venue for any special occasion. And I would 100% recommend that you request Hanna as your coordinator!

de, including a wedding coordinator! Our wedding planner was Natalie. She was so patient with all the changes and requests we threw her way, also our friends and family can be a bit rowdy and she remained kind and patient with them lol. She went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect and she helped with cleaning up and packing up our belongings in such a careful manner. We would highly recommend her and Lionsgate!

art to finish. Hanna was our coordinator and she was so available and quick to answer questions and help that it felt like we were the only couple she was working with. We brought in a lot of our own vendors but wish we had used their recommendations for catering. The Gatehouse was our dream come true

step easy and seamless up to and including the day of our wedding (we miss her already!) . Lionsgate has a list of vendors that they work with. Having that list made it easy to find great vendors, so every facet of our wedding was top-notch and done right. We would 100% recommend to get married at Lionsgate Event Center!

tunate enough to work with Madeline. Madeline answered all of our questions and really understood our vision. Madeline also helped us select caterers, and made sure we were on track to have everything done in time. Our wedding day was better than I could have ever imagined becuase of Lionsgate and Madeline.

y to work with and made this short timeline stress-free. We had a Friday the 13th wedding with some Halloween decor, and Alaina helped us make our vision come true! The venue itself was so gorgeous, and we had so many guests complimenting us on their whole experience.

eremony set up was simple and elegant. The indoor reception had a stunning stained glass window backdrop, vaulted ceilings and beautiful wooden decor. In addition to the venue itself being wonderful, we were assigned a wedding coordinator, Hanna Stimac, who made planning our wedding so much easier! Hanna coordinated between myself and our vendors; she provided quotes from the various vendors we were considering, helped us get the best prices and solidified our vendor contracts. Hanna coordinated with our vendors prior to and on our wedding day … all we really had to do was to show up and get married … Hanna took care of the rest! Not only was Hanna handling all of our vendor coordinations, but she also took the time to answer the many many emails I sent her, containing what was likely hundreds of questions, throughout our planning process. If you are considering The Lionsgate Event Center for your wedding and/or special event I highly recommend booking them!!!

h was kind and helpful. Hanna was our wedding planner and exceeded our expectations. She was always so timely with responding to emails and had the best suggestions staying within budget. She truly made the whole wedding planning experience fun and as stress-free as possible. Also, many of my guests commented on how amazing and kind the Lionsgate staffing was the night of the wedding. I highly recommend the Gatehouse to any couple!!

. We looked at countless venue locations for our wedding ranging from Colorado Springs, Denver, Estes Park, and a destination wedding. We kept coming back to this venue and fell in love with the location and those who work there. Plus if you use their preferred vendors your coordinator with handle all contracts, contacts, and payment. Honestly it was so nice paying all our vendors through Lionsgate. There are getting ready rooms for guys and girls which are very spacious. It is also dog friendly! Lauren was our first contact at the venue. She made sure all my many of questions were answered and even when we ran into each other at bridal shows she remember us and asked how everything was going. Next we had Natalie as our coordinator. Natalie was on top of everything before, during, and after our wedding. She made everything go so smooth even with some hiccups getting started that day. She checked in on us during the wedding bringing us cocktails and food since we were so busy. Over all it was a time our guests and us will never forget!

here because no other could compare. Their coordinators are skilled at what they do, Natalie did a fantastic job coordinating our wedding. Their staff is always so nice and the vibes are great. The prettiest venue and our guests were completely wowed. Highly recommend for your special day.

s we were getting married in a different city. They worked with our schedules to ensure that everything was taken care of and thoroughly explained. We decided to go with there preferred vendors, though it’s not required, and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Food was incredible! Ou photographer, adorable! The dj and photo booth, perfection! The bar service, impeccable! All this to say I loved our wedding, it was so beautiful and stress free. I also loved our wedding planner, Hanna Stimac. She was absolutely incredible and made the day that much more fun. I highly recommend tYje Gatehouse.

the wedding. She was patient when planning. The day of she made everything flow smoothly and with ease. Our wedding turned out beautiful not nobly evacuate the gatehouse is beautiful in instead but our coordinator also had a lot to do with this. AMAZING!

dly and made the whole planning process fun! Natalie knows SO much and had info and ideas for every question or thought we brought to her! We had 3 meetings with her in person at Lionsgate leading up to the wedding, but we also sent her so many emails with questions that she always responded to so quickly! We were able to customize everything and make the wedding perfect for us! On the day of, Natalie was so helpful and just made everything run so smoothly! The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS - we got sooo many compliments from guests about it all! Our ceremony was outside in the beautiful grassy/garden area, then we went inside the Gatehouse for the reception. The stained glass and wood accents everywhere were beautiful, and it was such a nice, unique space! We had about 120 guests and had plenty of room for dinner tables, bar area, food station tables, and a huge dance floor that was full all night long! There were also two getting ready rooms - one beautiful one for the girls and one huge, fun room for the guys with a pool table, poker table, TV/game system! Both my husband and I enjoyed our getting ready areas so much with our wedding party and also went back into them during the night if we needed to grab anything we stored in there (like my change of shoes for the reception). We also booked the Chandelier Barn as a rainy weather backup for our ceremony (didn't end up needing it for that, but we went there to sign our marriage license after the ceremony and take some pics, and it was gorgeous!). The whole grounds is just so beautiful - you don't even really need to get your own decorations because the venue is so lush and beautiful on its own! There's so many great spots to take pictures too! Everything through Lionsgate was amazing - they were so helpful throughout the entire year-long planning process and day of! I would 100% recommend Lionsgate (and Natalie!!) to anyone planning a wedding in the Denver surrounding area!

uly 2023 and had a very positive experience, from start to finish. As soon as we confirmed our date with Lionsgate we were quickly paired with Alaina as our coordinator. Alaina was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process - helping us choose and book various vendors and working in tandem with vendors we chose on our own. Alaina was a calming figure during the planning process, always very responsive and accommodating to our somewhat endless requests! We had a final planning meeting with Alaina about a month out from our wedding which was also hugely helpful in terms of finalizing last minute details and hashing out the schedule for the weekend. When the wedding weekend approached, Alaina was at the top of her game! She was so pleasant to all of our guests during both the rehearsal and the wedding. Everything turned out even better than we anticipated on our wedding day and Alaina handled everything. She is a true professional and I could not think of a better person to have helped coordinate our wedding. Thank you Alaina, and Lionsgate staff, for making our wedding so special and memorable!

of the vendors worked well with her. The preferred list of vendors at Lionsgate is amazing.

ver thought I would get married to be honest, so having such a perfect day meant the world to me. From the start, the staff made everything seamless. We got to work with the incredible Hanna, and she was always quick to respond to emails whether they were simple questions or minor freak outs. She kept us on our timeline from design room meetings to timeline and layout to our rehearsal and finally the big day. The interesting thing about weddings is that, more than likely, you've never planned one before, so having someone who listens to your not so clear vision and helps it come alive is the best thing ever. We cannot recommend Lionsgate and their vendors enough. If we had to do it all over again, we'd do it all the same because we were able to enjoy every minute of that day. That is something I won't ever take for granted.

se criteria. On top of that the team was so incredibly helpful and kind (our coordinator Madeline was fantastic!!!) and made all of our visions for the day come to life. Working with Lionsgate took a lot of stress out of paying vendors, keeping track of timeline, etc that you would get in a different venue selection which truly helped us to be present on our big day. June 23rd will be one we remember forever!

will forever recommend this venue to anyone who wants a stress free wedding day!

coordinators are the most supportive and friendly people you will find. We were matched with Hanna as our coordinator and she did an above and beyond incredible job. Lionsgate gave us recommended vendors to consider, which made the process easier, especially knowing they were familiar with the venue. She made our wedding day perfect and overall a stress free experience for us while she managed the entire day of timeline. The venue itself is also stunning with plenty of great photo spots indoor/outdoor with beautiful lighting at Dove House! The natural beauty makes it easy to decorate.
