anything on the most special day of my life.” I knew that I had a solid foundation of things I THOUGHT I needed to do, but day-of wedding coordination was something I wanted to find so the stress could be more manageable and I could be certain everything would fall into place. Our introductory phone call was incredibly comprehensive! The tools and resources that Mackenzie shared with me were instrumental in the planning process. Excel docs, planning sheets with timelines… trust me when I say, these are the thoughtful, comprehensive tools that cannot be found online. So many of these fantastic planning suggestions were ones that were NOT ON my list of 514 things. It also just helps so much to have planners on-site whose sole responsibility is to make sure everyone is in the right place. We did the majority of our pre-planning with Mackenzie, and on the day of, we also had the support of Danielle (two planners with us). Example (picture #2) of some of the little things that are key to your special day - wedding planners can guard the door to ensure the most incredible wedding moments, like first looks, are not interrupted! If there were any emergencies on my wedding day, I know nothing about them because everything was perfectly handled behind the scenes. I’m so grateful my husband and I got to focus on just each other. You’ll see in these pictures - the second to last one is my husband thanking the planners and all of the vendors in the room for the most incredible day. Last picture - us with Mackenzie. I wanted to make sure to get one with her as I was crying happy tears about how wonderfully the day went. So - are wedding planners worth the extra expense, even for the “planning” personality? 1000% yes, and I highly recommend Lisa Pleasant Events.
